What a very enjoyable lakorn!

This might be the most enjoyable lakorn I've watched yet. There were a few clichés, but they didn't really ruin my enjoyment of the story. I liked that the drama let you make your own mind about the characters. There are no side characters describing the main character and telling you, the viewer, what to think from the get go. Instead you get to watch them act and make your mind. Now I'll go into more details:
-The story: The story is nothing new under the sun. Amnesia plot with a helping of kind hearted island people. There's a lot of action, many murder attempts, and of course secrets, sex and money. But it's all really well done, especially for a thai lakorn. Usually thai dramas have really bad pacing, with a big chunk of filler episodes and then a rushed ending, this drama was the exception. Here things kept happening with sometimes a bit of repetition (especially if you binge watch like me), but nothing too bad. Also the bad guys really are the strong suit of this drama. I always like when a villain is scary smart and compelling. The villains here are all that and more. The comic relief is also extremely well written.
-The acting was overall VERY good. Mik is not my favorite actor but he did okay, same for Sammy. The side characters were on point, except the FL's best friend who's a newbie, and even then she was good overall. The two big villains were extremely well played. But for me the scene stealer was Prapas. What a great, well acted character!
-I forced myself to pay attention to the music, and yeah it was actually very good.
-The rewatch value is very subjective. Once I've had closure, the only reason I would have to revisit a drama would be the sweet scenes. There were not many of these here. The drama is really good, but not enough kiss for me to revisit haha.

A Lakorn worth a place in your watchlist

This Lakorn started of well with typical Lakorn characters..sweet heroine , greedy villains , bitchy ladies etc ..but it draws your attention & keeps u engaged . Usually I feel in Lakorns female lead has max screen time but here everything revolves around male lead ( esp a smart one for once ) & MIK did a great job ..I like how he could portray variations in his character . Chemistry btw leads is very good but it left me wanting more ..the last 2 episodes were a quite draggy or else I would have rated this much high .
Overall I would definitely recommend this ..Watch it for intelligent male lead ..and a very pretty heroine .

Talay Luang where everything began at the sea and ended at the sea, literally 😝 I didn’t set any expectations for this lakorn and for that I was gambling whether I was going to like it or dislike it. I went in blindly. Luckily, I actually enjoyed this lakorn for the most part. The beginning of the lakorn everyone was saying how it was similar to the famous Taiwanese drama “The Frog Who Turns into a Prince” or whatever the title was 😅 because of the amnesia part. I think that was the only similarity, the rest different, right? I thought the beginning of this lakorn was also moving kind of slow. Plot improved better once Yotsakorn found out that Natee was still alive.

Mik as Talay…let’s just say it was very mellow. He was adorable let’s give Talay some credit for that lol but I wanted spice and a part of me wanted him to remember already at this point. Talay and Moya for me did not have chemistry. I’m not sure if it had to do with their character or what not but it felt flat for me. Natee and Moya on the other hand had chemistry. Is that weird? 😆 Mik is playing both characters with the same nangek but him as Natee was better and had more chemistry with Sammy hahahaha. Do we agree on that? I guess we all missed that tough and “mean” praek in this lakorn.

But he wasn’t mean mean right? He was only mean for one episode and after that he told Moya that he was going to pursue her and told Moya that he was going to make her love him for him and forget Talay which is weird because he is Talay 🤣🤣🤣 At one point he was jealous of himself LOL. Talay/Natee was also smart and I loved that about his character. He knew not to trust the villains and didn’t give a shit about Nune amnesia and not amnesia. I remember some girls were joking about how Tohmon from Mia Jum Pben can’t relate hahaha 😝 Sammy as Moya was adorable too.

Moya is just a pure optimistic character that I feel like she is one of the most human character I’ve come across in lakorn world, if that makes any sense. The only thing I didn’t like about her character was how she treated Yotsakorn. Okay Yotsakorn is a villain, a psychopath, etc but I felt it was kind of wrong to use him in those last few episodes just to get evidence. There was a scene where I had wished she told Yotsakorn the truth how she actually feels about him, maybe then he would have stopped and let her free. Who knows? That was the only thing I wished was different about Moya.

Speaking of Yotsakorn, I felt bad for him only because he genuinely loved Moya and like I mentioned I didn’t like him getting used like that. As for his killing and stuff, yeah that was a no and he and Baitong from WWH should never meet 😂 But I did not feel bad for his mother at all. Another character I also felt bad for was Nune. She too also genuinely loved Natee but the love wasn’t returned. She didn’t deserve to be killed like that. Another character I liked was Prapas. Bless his soul. He did not deserve to be killed but it’s expected in lakorns for good characters anyways. And was I the only one that was skeptical about Prapas though? Hahaha. Like I think it took me a few episodes in to accept that he’s a good guy. I can’t help but be suspicious when murder is involved and the actor is always playing a villain and just in Lah Tah Chon was when I first watch his character was good so I was skeptical about him in this lakorn too.

Side characters I also enjoyed watching on screen was little Pooma! 🥰 She was just too adorable and I really love her scenes with Talay/Natee! Also Andrew as Thaneth hahaha. What a comic relief. I thought he was going to be a serious villain but he brings humor to this lakorn. I like his famous line of my little nemo fish Moya hahahahaha. I actually liked all the cast in here. The employees on the island bring good comic relief for stressful scenes. Our second couple was cute too. The actress Karn who plays as Namrin in here, this was her debut lakorn. I have to say she is pretty decent but I hope she work on projecting her voice a little better. She reminds me of Marie Broenner when Marie debuted as well. Her voice was so high-pitched. I don’t know if it was her character situation or not but yeah. I’m not a fan of Karn’s voice 😅

Overall this lakorn was good. The villains showed their character early on so you didn’t have to guess much. I wish the ending was executed better but I’ll accept what they gave us. For those that have watched this lakorn, I do want to hear your opinion on this lakorn and whether you prefer kitten Talay or lion Natee hahahaha. Thanks for watching and supporting me on this lakorn. Special thanks to timing team for helping me weekly. I was warned that some Mik fans are demanding and impatient (this is my first Mik lakorn I subbed) but I didn’t encounter any. Luckily hahaha. Thank you for that ❤️❤️

This was pretty good

Alright lets get with the program :

Positives :

1. The couples

Both couples are beautiful and so non toxic I couldn't even believe it.
Even after he looses all if memories and is a little bit of a unkind person, its not as bad as other thai drama male leads.
Even though there is still one forced kiss which was one of the only things i was a little disappointed in.
He however does apologize for his inappropriate behavior later one. So I feel like while what he did wasn't ok, at least he knew that and owed up to it.
Both characters work well together and have a great understating of one another.
I also love that there wasn't this trope of getting with the second male lead ( well in this case would be the villain but ok ) to get back at the main male lead.

The second couple was my favorite tbh. I could just relate a little but more to them and the guy was more my type speaking form a personality standpoint.
I liked their interaction and it was a little childish sometimes ( the whole i a running away to seek attention ) but most of the times just super cute and a great team.

Both couples have great Chemistry so if you just wanna watch some real romantic stuff with some action. I do recooemd this one.

2. The locations

I am sorry but when i can vacation there.
It was super pretty.

3. The development and plot

No episode felt over done and the plot didnt get super drawn out.
I was a little worried since the main characters get together very quickly but it was very enjoyable nonetheless.
It has pretty good pacing.

The negatives ( dont be surprised if I write in a little more detail but with this show given the rating a I really enjoyed overall)

1. The villains

While I think the villains were pretty well done. I just had a hard time rooting against them.
Especially the second female lead.
Like this poor women got forced, raped and miscarried a child all under the threat of her life.
And even Korn he came from an abusive family and his mom really also had her own issues.
But he also did so many terrible things.....
While I loved that it all added dimensions to the villains it made it incredibly hard to watch them loose and in some cases die.

Also that he survived that fire was very unrealistic and i think it the only thing that felt really gimmicky in the show.

Also the thing I didnt quite enjoy is that they didnt really develop in terms of their plans.
Like straight at the start they wanted to murder. I wish they would have started with threats and would have slowly gotten worse. ( this is a true nitpick )

2. Ok the make up

This is really the only thing I really really disliked about the show.
Who in their right mind hired the artist who was in charge of the make up when the got hurt.
It didnt just look comical it was also super inconsistent.
Also i love how both the women and man are in the fight. Both take at least some hits.
Man - literally 5 bruises on his face ( that change even in the middle of a conversation )
Women - NOTHING !!!

Like at the start our male lead gets pretty hurt and his face is full of bruises.
These were done badly but ok.
But then the healing is so weird.
Sometimes its almost gone and then in the next shot his eyes will be again bright red.
I dont even wanna completely blame the make up artist because I do think the director and the editor should have pointed out on how inconsistent it is. Even to the point that you would notice if that they shot this scene twice on different days because the make up on the male was so different.
I dont think it would bother me so much but since there is a lot of action and a lot of people getting hurt, it does sometimes take you out.

Conclusion :
Over all a good romance and well done action and worth watching.

Just a one of a kind cliché story!!!!

The Plot:
The main plot of the story was a little bit cliché ( the plot was become overused to the point of losing its original meaning or effect, even to the point of being trite or irritating). Some of the scenes if you are really fan of lakorn you will eventually predict the next scene. Sometimes it made me feel bored but I stayed because the main actors are good when it comes to portraying their character.
The Actors:
( Mick Thongraya and Dollacha Puwijarn Cowel ) These two are really good actors I really don't have any problem with it. The side characters were good.

OST: Well it was good. ( It isn't bad but not that good )V PEACE!!

Re-Watch Value: I will probably watch it again..

Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
Take Care!!!
