Hilarious as Hell

This is an extremely funny series. What drew me to it were the main characters as i loved them as Beer (in Oxygen) and King (my Engineer). This is just for relaxation and fun really and not your usual BL series. Very silly scenarios to look out for.

It’s more like watching Willy Wonka and the Cholocate Factory if you get what i mean but a BL formatted storyline. You have a Landlady (i think) that seems to change personality and this affects his/her mood and in the most ridiculous of ways and a bunch of weirdos as tenants whom i cannot begin to describe.

You're either going to REALLY like it or hate it

Absolutely chaotic, and exactly what you need if you're looking for just nonsense entertainment. I started watching this because of Talay (Pun) since I really liked him in My Engineer. I liked the whole cast, but I rated it low because of the acting. It's not bad, and fits exactly with the route this show wanted to go so in that sense it's actually good! But I'm just not a big fan of overacting, so this comment is mainly towards the characters of the boss and minions (and also Yuri). YYY isn't funny per se, but that's okay. It doesn't brand itself as funny, but as carefree, ridiculous and extremely nonsensical. All of these things it does perfectly! The story itself isn't special, it just contains a lot of twists and turns which make it interesting. I like the overall vibe of it all, and it looks like the cast had a great time filming this, since it just looks like a group of friends doing some comedy improv. Last but not least, I LOVE the opening song. Like the show, it's just fun and nonsense but it honestly slaps.

This is what I imagine a Yaoi lover's LSD dream would look like. True to the disclaimer in the beginning, YYY is all chaotic energy. It is well produced, and kudos to all the actors/actress for maintaining a straight face throughout all the absolutely ridiculous scenes. I'm honestly not sure how the two boys did it in the end space suit scene.

If I had to say one thing about this series, it would be probably be that it's short, sweet, and to the point. I loved the short words about love at the end of each episode, and all the characters contributed to the overall storyline. This short drama follows the lives of several tenants in an all boys apartment building. The landlord is Yaoi loving and crazy, which leads to a lot of fun and out of the blue scenarios. The music is fun, and humor in YYY is wild and off the wall.

If chaotic humor and BL is your thing, then this is probably for you.

Another kind of funny

I struggle to watch this show even though there were only 6 episodes. Most of the time I stopped because I didn't have the attention level to keep up with the story, however I found myself laughing everytime I watched the episodes and that's the reason why I finished it.

I read several comments about how the show doesn't make sense because is a sitcom, but I think the story is well told and is enjoyable in its own unique way. Another kind of funny.

And BTW, Porpla is a mood and a queen.

Okay so when I first saw the sitcom I though it was kinda dumb and all but then I decided to give it a try. After watching episode one I fell deep in love with the sitcom. It is amazing and truly a work of art.
STORY
Story wise it’s amazing. From the characters to the plots and drama. It contains just the right amount of comedy as well as romance. The plot is interesting but not over bearing. The comedy is funny but not over dramatic. The romance is great and sweet. This sitcom really manage to put together just the right amount of everything.

ACTING and CAST
The cast is amazing. That all I have to say. Each of the characters are quirky and fun. The actors them self not only look amazing but also have amazing acting skills considering that to most of the cast it’s only their first or 2nd series. The acting is believable and funny making you fall I love with their characters. And the main couple look so well together and have amazing cemetery.

MUSIC
The amount of time I have listened to the OST is over the top. It’s currently one of my go to songs for studying or working out. It have such a unique beat that really pulls it alway from traditional Bl songs. I also love how they use songs from Why r u and Make it right.

REWATCH VALUE the rewatch value is amazing. I can rewatch this sitcom at least 100 times. When every I’m having a bad day after watching a few episode it really makes me smile.

All in all please give this series a try. The cast, story and production is all amazing. I know some people are actually hesitant to watch this series as they think it’s a sitcom so it contains no romance but that’s wrong. To be real I think this sitcom compare to so Bl series actually contain more romance and fluffy moment. It’s still amaze me how they can balance romance and comedy so well. So give this series a try cause it’s a 10/10 for me :)

I watched this for Talay and it was cute! Definitely a chaotic story that wasn't really my style, but I did find the romance adorable (if albeit a little rushed and out of nowhere). The story is fairly basic, though in my opinion there isn't much of a plot or anything "going on." For the most part it's all character-based, but the characters themselves aren't developed that much either. Then again it's only 6 episodes so they can't be blamed for that.

The acting wasn't really my style either; I'm not a fan of hyper-exaggeration that borders on bad acting. I know it was done for comedic effect (hence the canned laughter peppered throughout) and also to amp up the ridiculousness, but it just wasn't for me. I think a lot of people will find it enjoyable and fun, though. The story - and entire drama - isn't that serious, though it seems like they're toying with somewhat serious subject matter.

As for the ending...uh. No idea how I feel about that. It's an open ending - not happy, not sad - and it's a good thing there'll be a season 2 because I'm hoping for more answers and definitely more character development. I love Talay to pieces so I'll watch anything he's in, even if I didn't fully enjoy this as much as I wanted to.

Meh...

I've heard how YYY has big crackhead energy but that it also has a lot of heart and explores deep themes, so I had to watch it!

It started off strong! It was different. I liked it! Unfortunately, the crackhead energy of the tenants' antics didn't translate to its central story. The series quickly became aimless and predictable though barely entertaining enough to keep my attention. The only story there really is is the budding relationship between Nott and Pun, which isn't shown often and thus, feels rushed (though it is just 6 episodes so it's understandable). I was also so bored by their relationship by the end and was itching for the last episode to be done. But rather the show concentrates on ridiculous subplots that don't make any sense and aren't funny (at times). A simple standard story about roommates falling in love each other. It does bring up some important truths though like being honest and the importance of communication.

Pretty cool seeing Lay again after My Engineer. And I also liked how they worshiped Why R U in this series. I wonder if there's a connection between the two shows. Same production company maybe?

To be honest, YYY is probably my least favourite BL series at the moment...

Mood/pace is amazing

Everyone should definitely give this sitcom a try as a new taste. It has one of the most unexpectable outcomes of each events yet each and every cast manage to play their role very well.
And I think it's unrealistically realistic; every character may be a tad be mad, but they each hold a story that turn them into who they are. And I like how it isn't entirely based on romance, it based on choices people make based on their own life experiences, people around them and dreams/goals in life. "relationships doesn't only involve two person"

Personally, this I find this better than Tonhon Chonlatee, and yes I kinda group them in a similar category. Give a try, no regrets if you're in humor!

The kind of show you should not take seriously.

This series is the definition of the word "random."

Honestly, after watching episode one I had intended to stop because I felt like I didn't connect with it; HOWEVER, I decided to watch episode two out of sheer boredom and OH MY GOODNESS HOW MUCH I ENJOYED IT! That entire washing machine montage was gold and got me completely hooked.

Putting all the randomness aside, the story was very simple and it does have some plot holes that I assume happened because of how short the season is. Even so, it was still understandable and touched a beautiful topic that's popular in today's society: people's connections with each other. It is a light-hearted comedy that shows you that even people who are complete opposites of each other can actually create a special bond... and you don't even have to realize it! The best part of this series that separates it from all the Thai BLs I've watched is the fact that you don't have to take it too seriously. This is the kind of show that you can just sit back, laugh and have a good time.

Let me give a round of applause to the actors because they DESERVE IT. It was refreshing to have a series were ALL the characters had unique personalities with unique traits that distinguished them from each other, but also that connected them as well. Not gonna lie, it is getting a little tiring to watch dramas lately due to the lack of uniqueness in their characters' personalities, but that's not the case here. All actors brought something new to the table that made you sympathize and grow fond of them. It made me happy to see how they all were totally fine by living with people that were polar opposites. It was like "nothing weird here, that's just how we are!"

There was one thing that threw me off sometimes, though. The script felt... strange, to say the least. Maybe it was a barrier in the translation, but sometimes the script got me thinking "what are you talking about?" It did feel a little all over the place and it definitely needed some extra tweaking, but luckily it wasn't a problem I saw often.

All in all, YYY was an enjoyable series that I would recommend to anyone looking for something they can just have a good laugh with. Enjoy the life of some fun weirdos coexisting in the same building!

I just want to commend this show because I really liked it even though it was hilarious and mind blowing. This show was not what I expected it to become, I was totally caught off-guard watching this show but I was totally hooked on it.

The story was hilarious and contains full of non-sense. I don’t know what I am doing because the show does not have a constant plot but it was the amzing part of it. The show’s non-sense plot made it the most interesting thing in it. It was a rollercoaster ride because you will not know what to expect or where it will take you, just full of hilariousness. I love how the casts went from nuts to dramatic ones. This show is indeed full of non-sense but that’s makes it more interesting.

I highly recommend you to watch this or even rewatch this because your life will be full of laughter.
