spectacular! for me, one of the best dramas of this year!you don't get bored looking at it!
I recommend watching it and after episode 15 see Mouse The Predator.
I think it's so important that he could have been part of the drama and not as a spinoff!
I loved how we see the world through Ba Reum's eyes!
the story goes on well, it has many plot twists and creates many questions.. in some moments I was confused because there are many victims and names to keep in mind LOL but it's ok!
many events follow one another but all well connected! they show us scenes that bring us doubts about what the role of that character is, how he is connected with others, how does he know some things .. and in the middle of the drama we see the continuation of that same scene that leads us to have a different point of view and clarifies our reasoning ..
an important point of this drama is the acting! they all did a great job! but I got goosebumps with Ba Reum WOW Lee Seunggi was awesome!
his eyes were so expressive, they went from angel to evil naturally! and when he starts to feel emotions .. I felt them all, they reach the heart! I felt the pain, the suffering and the fear as if it were all true!
this work was also done perfectly by Moo Chi (Lee Hee Joon) and BongYi (Park Ju Hyun) with their sad stories.
YoHan is a character that hits right away, he is so mysterious! interpretated very well by Kwon Hwa Woon, with this cold and serious but so fragile character! he didn't deserve everything he went through.
I felt very sorry for him and Ba Reum! YoHan, however, has the possibility of being loved by his girlfriend and his mother even if she has not been able to protect him. instead Ba Reum is seen as scary and remains alone until the end.
what makes their lives hell is the special gene! their mothers are influenced by this and it prevents them from totally loving and understand their childs and making them grow a peaceful and happy life! Daniel created the mess.. LOL!
however I loved everything! 10/10
and the OST! wonderful! I'm still listening a lot to Giriboy's "a rat in the trap"

Not a psychopath apologist but damn it writer-nim!
I love the plot. It spins my head plus I enjoy reading other viewers' theories/thoughts throughout the airing of Mouse. It was fast-paced at the first half which made us want to know what the hell was going on. The second half was more detail-oriented and focused more on that one main character which may lead to the growth of others but going through its ending, it actually made sense. Choi Ran wrote the ending of Mouse better than Black (probably because Black was more into fantasy and quite illogical). Overall, it set a good standard for an anti hero thriller. A heartbreaking closure!The performance by every actor was phenomenal. Like, one of the best line-up starting from the main characters to side characters. Oh Bong Yi (Park Joo Hyun) was great, I love her despite of her status as a newcomer.

A UNIQUE THRILLER KDRAMA AND IT WAS WORTH WATCHING
This drama is for you if you like intense plot twists. Every moment you should focus and remember, otherwise it would confuse you later. I guess this aspect also lead some people to dislike the drama and for some others to like the drama because it kept us on our toes on how every character and their actions are getting connected.The drama is obviously a purely fictional story, where psychopaths are shown as people with no empathy and murderers. but to be frank, there are many people who have tested as psychopaths but in the real world, they live normal lives, they just don't have an understanding of emotions like the rest of us and live normally. but this drama has shown all psychopaths are murderers only. This aspect I didn't like at all, but since this a fictional story I let that slide and enjoyed the drama.
Overall this is a good entertaining drama after all entertainment is the only thing we expect from any drama and this one provides. it is worth watching.

It's Perfect! (In my humble opinion)
I hate suspense and serial killers☺️ They scare the hell out of me and kept me wide awake at night🤣.The only thing (or person) that made we watch this movie at first is LSG! And I'm glad that I did. The story is superb! The twists are mind blowing! Every week I'm always looking forward to Wednesdays and Thursdays as the ending of the eposides from episodes were cliff hangers!
It's hard to watch kdramas for a non-korean like me. Keeping up with the plot and remembering the names, especially the victims, are a bit challenging . But this drama is worth every migraine it caused me😍. So start binge watching MOUSE now!
The last episode where moochi and ba reum talked made me cry a river (no sarcasm intentnd) . It's sad that it has finally came to an end.

A Disturbing Thriller That Feels a Little too Real
What started off as exciting and thrilling has escalated into relentless violence and disturbing elements. I am the type of person who is interested in psychology, so I found this show to be fascinating in many ways. However, I’ve decided to drop it because of the negative effect it had on my life.As a Christian and a film major, I have to take extra care in the many films and shows I watch to check how they fit into my standards and mental well-being. If you are anything like me, I found the good in this show to not outweigh the overall evil feeling portrayed. The more I watched and thought about it, the less at ease I felt and less enthused I was to continue. I low-key have had several nightmares because of it.
“Mouse” is truly an intriguing show with psychological and sociological concepts spread throughout with the wonderful production. However, there is no breathing room. The struggle with morality and depiction of such disturbing violence towards adults, children, and animals pushes gratuity.
I made it pretty far, but it’s not worth it to finish; and that’s okay.
As always, my "rewatch value" is simply my entertainment value instead. I also rate not only music but sound. The production team has done a great job so far with this one, so I applaud them and the actors' hard work!

Complicated but somehow satisfying
This was one complicated drama. It is the only drama that got my brain working too hard till I gave up theorizing.But the ending and another ending on the special episode shine some lights into the questions I had for the last eps.
First, a standing ovation for the production crew and director. The actors said that the director was very precise on how the story will go on and how they act their characters (kudos to that).
Story wise: It was long , complicated and detailed. But after watching the interviews with the actors and the last extended ending, I get why they had to make it long and detailed. The story line was made so that viewers will be able to understand the whole story (it was told in many different perspectives).
All the main characters deserved standing ovation too.
Lee Seung Gi (Jeong Ba Reum) is really breaking barriers with his acting career. Him playing a serial killer is truly amazing.. the way he portrayed the serial killer sent shivers down my spine. Originally I though he will be the good guy but boy I was so wrong. He fooled viewers really well hiding behind the "good"character. His gazed and eyes when he was revealed to be the serial killer is truly scary.
Kwon Hwa Woon (Sung Yo Han) character was too mysterious and had everyone thinking he was the serial killer. But as we were revealed the truth later on, I took pity on him. He was one of the most pitiful character in the whole drama (the other one is Det. Sang played by P.O. who got wrongly killed off later towards the end). His acting was really good portraying a cold character.
Lee Hee Joon (Ko Moo Chi) scene when he witnessed his brother getting killed was truly heartbreaking. He deserved an award for that scene alone. I'm gonna miss his rough but soft heart character the most. He really is a good actor.
As for the girls... they portrayed their characters well. I sympathized with Bong Yi a alot and I think she forgave Bareum in the end as he was her first love after all.
Overall.. this is one drama that got my brain so tangled up in the theory of who is the real killer.
If you can stomach serial murders story then please watch this. True, all murders are cruelly described but was blurred completely so it won't be too visuals for people to see.
Although I won't watch it again anytime soon.
Hope other people will enjoy this drama as much as I did. ^^

Had the urge to write a review after that great ending.
It's kinda hard to begin with the part that made me fell in love with this drama, but the scene where the killer was revealed shocked me to the point I was in denial for a moment. (XD not joking) I would love to talk about more but this will end up with me spoiling everything for the new viewers... I had no complaints about the drama until the final episode, as I enjoyed every single episode and it made me feel all sorts of emotions throughout the entire time I spent watching this show. Watching this show has been such a wonderful journey to me and I truly hope that Mouse will get the recognition it deserves. Thank you, to everyone who has made Mouse possible, I appreciate every single drop of hardwork and effort you've put into making this masterpiece.PS: The ending was bound to happen, but I did not expect it to be this well done. Also that additional scene after the credit was oh my god... Nevermind I don't wanna talk about it 💀

The best thriller series ever
Of all the thriller kseries i have watched, the best one so far. Right from episode 1 till 13 it never seizes to amaze you and go woah and omg with its plots and twists. Each episode has only kept me hooked up to the next episode. Started with the 1st epsisode and didnt wanna stop until i reached all 8 (as the rest werent released yet) and wow it make me more anxious and curios about the upcoming episodes. Still going great. Not a single scene or episose has bored me yet.... The rating is too low for this series. It definitely deserves a 10. The fitsr series of Lee Seungi that im watching and already love this series be ut Ko Moochi or every characters in this series.... its just soo goodWas this review helpful to you?
what I love:
1. amazingly and nicely and well written SCRIPT. from the first scene to the last one, the script was meticulous and detailed, all parts are important, and even tied up perfectly no plot holes. all i think while i watch this drama, is that this script deserves all the appreciation, awards and loveee.
2. probably the best STORYLINE for a crime thriller drama, it progresses with a nice paced not too fast not too slow, with unexpected twist, put you on the edge of your seat, give you thousands of mixed emotions, it makes you focus to each lines to each scenes. and by the time you feel like it will be draggy, they give you something new, they give you another reason to not get bored. love it!
3. freakinnn amazing ACTING!!!! shttt damn it, give them the best actors actresses awards especially to lee seung gi and lee hee jun. they're crazy, top notch the highest tier acting. they absorbed and brings the best out of their character, the emotions they brought on their eyes ughh... one second you are mad and angry and the next second you're crying with them. you felt their pain, their anger, their love and their guilt... name it, name all of the emotions they serve it, and they serve it well. kudos to lee seung gi, lee hee jun, park ju hyun, kyung soo jin and all others
4. gives you roller coaster of EMOTIONS and mixed of it. as I said in previous point, name all of the emotions you will feel it. and it will play with your emotions like it will even make you question, 'should I feel like this? ' 'shouldn't I feel like this?'
5. i love bong yi x ba reum relationship, cutest and innocent :') actually all of their relationships
6. the bgm though, it just intensifies everything, making it even betterrr, whether it's sad or thrill or some cute scenes yo im in lahv

1. the last 3 to 4 episodes feels a littleee bit hmm draggy? and it wasn't as interesting as the earlier episodes. not saying its boring, it's just less interesting because the earlier episodes put my standards and expectations too high.

A masterpiece, or a waste of time?
The beginning of the drama was quite well developed, but as the episodes passed, a mess began to happen. The story at first glance may seem magnificent, but it has many poorly developed plots that in the end are simply ignored or simply poorly explained.Not to mention several characters that add nothing to the story and the amount of themes that are surreal. I think Mouse should be put in the "Fantasy" category.
I have the perception that the screenwriter hit his head very hard and wrote an inexplicable madness from episode 10 onwards. The biggest problem was that the plot was too obvious and they dragged it out for 20 long, boring episodes (which I thought would get better with time, but it didn't).
I gave this drama a chance because it was and still is highly recommended and it was definitely very popular when it first came out, but I don't understand all the hype. Maybe it's because of the excellent performance of the cast, I praise them very much for that. If it wasn't for the acting, I would have given up within the first 5 episodes.
I believe they could have focused on one thing without inserting a thousand things that in the end would not be resolved, which would make the drama exceptional.

One of my favorite kdramas of all time
First for those who've seen my list, yes I'm bad at giving rates, but for this drama I genuinely want to give it a 10, I just loved it so much, which is also the reason why I wrote this review for it.I should start with saying that this drama is not for everyone, its very complex and confusing at times. Its also an R-rated drama with some 19+ rated episodes and it can take an emotional toll from you, so do take this into account before watching.
Story
I watched the show from the start when it was streaming and I must say I never could wait for the next episode, which is a good sign as it means I was very intrigued by it. As I said it can be confusing and complex at times, but for me this only made it better as I loved to speculate, theorise and read theories from others. There is a lot of mystery in the drama, but I've to point out that this is not a mystery thriller. So certain things may seem quite predictable, but thats because its a psychological thriller that focuses on the characters and emotions. Certainly the first part of the drama can be a bit misdirecting about this. The drama contains also a lot of twists, at certain times I wasn't sure how they were going to stretch the story till episode 20, but the twists always surprised me and eventually I didn't find the drama stretched at all. Important to mention also is that there are certain things in it that are still considered science fiction. Personally I didn't mind this, but I saw a lot of people who had problems with it. My advise is even if you don't really like this, don't give up immediately it's not as problematic as it looks at first. And for me it made the story all the more interesting and actually quite unique. There is also minor romance in it, actually more than I expected for a drama like this. For those who don't like this don't worry it doesn't feel out of place and it isn't cringey at all. I actually really liked it, but of course also don't watch it for a happy romance. Finally the ending is very satisfying, which I was very happy about as a lot of good dramas have a problem with the ending.
Actors
This was my first drama with Lee Seung-Gi and I must say he did a phenomenal job. It does take some time before he's able to show his acting skills, as his character only becomes more prominent and complex later into the drama. So at first he may not seem that impressive, but later when he's able to he's fantastic.
I loved Lee Hee-joon, I had seen him before like in "Legend of the blue sea", but although I like him there also, it was here that I was very impressed by his acting skills and became a fan of him. The way he was able to portray emotions was phenomenal, he certainly deserved the nomination he got for his acting skills here, really hope he wins next time as he really deserves it. I really can't wait also to see more of him.
I loved Park Ju-hyun also, she's actually the reason I found out about this as I was looking for other dramas with her. As always she did a fantastic job and I'm certain she will become a big star if she continues to impress like this. Not everyone seemed to like her character, although this is a minority and mostly I found the reasons they had for bashing on Bong-Yi quite unreasonable. I've to admit I also hoped that Bong-Yi maybe had a bit more prominent role and maybe I'm a bit biased about her, because I really like Park Ju-hyun. But overall I was really satisfied, really loved the character and felt quite an emotional connection with her.
Like many other people, Kyung Soo-jin character was probably my least favorite of the main characters. She also did a really great job and it's certainly not that I disliked her character, but I guess I just felt the least connection with her character, which isn't her fault. I liked her the most in the beginning of the drama, but later on she disappears a bit to the background, which is probably the reason.
I really liked the rest of the cast also, certainly Kwon Hwa-woon and Ahn Jae-wook. And the acting of the famous child actor Kim Kang-hoon was very impressive to say the least.
Music
The music was great and certainly did set the tone of the drama. I absolutely love the instrumental song at the end of every episode. I'm also very happy that they released most of the instrumental music, as they often don't do this. The vocal songs were also great, certainly "It's alright" and "Too late".
Overall this drama is a must watch, although it's not for everyone, so do take some of my points into consideration before watching it.

unpredictable plots
honestly, the drama is really a good thriller, mystery and crime drama and the best part I liked about it was the plots and so many serial killing cases, I mean if you are a crime genre lover like me then definitely you should go and watch it now 'cause this drama doesn't evolve on only single case. and I also liked the way of choosing next prey on some basis not like psychopath who kills any one they see, lol.this drama also conveyed a kind of message that be aware of every one, just because they seem nice and gentle it doesn't mean they actually are.
SPOILER: I don't know but am I the only one who knew from the starting that Jung ba-ram is going to be real killer however they showed song yo han so suspiciously, I guess I have a good hunch?
so, overall I loved the storyline, plots character as well as cast, for me this is the one of the best crime, thriller and mystery kdrama I've ever watched.
