This is actually a very light horror themed series, for those who are hesitant to watch due to its horror content you may watch this. For some who wanted to watch this because of 'BL' thing yeah there is also, as I posted in the comment section, do not be decieved by the negative comments and poor ratings, this is quite a good series, and I really like the progression of the story and how it ended, but some casts acts weirdly (lol) the prosthetics and the make up for the ghost is not convincing, but still it's Okay.
You can watch this in YouTube. Thank you

Underated

I'm surprised this has such a low rating on here, it's worth the watch.

I'm going the preface this review by saying I am a big fan of horror, watched a ton of them, and this has a solid B horror feel to it. I'm a softie for a love story in a horror and I think they actually did a fairly good job sticking a balance. Was it anything out of the box? No. But it wasn't an engineering BL in uni, so it should get some recognition for that alone. It was a little tropie but it hit all the beats, the acting was decent, and the leads likable. The gratuitous use of slow-motion though was a little painful in places but it's only 8 episodes so they didn't really get a chance to fully explore the story. Honestly, they could have leaned into the horror more, but it's pretty on par with other Asian horror I've watched.

The ending was a little odd for lack of a better word, without spoiling anything, but again it was a short series so they need to wrap things up. Would recommend, and we need some more horror BL.

Fun Fantasy

I have to admit that this was a unique series. It is just so much fun to watch and (surprise) it has ghosts in it. But these ghosts are corporal! And that makes this series rich and fun to watch. There is a certain sadness about the stories of the 'ghosts' and how they became ghosts. Part of this series is redemption. And love. What brought this series down is the poor production. The acting for the most part is pretty good and believable and their are some very sincere exchanges between a number of couples that I found surprisingly well written. For entertainment, this is a fun series to watch. You can read my full review of this series at BLBliss.com.

Rather underwhelming whether as BL or as horror

I first started watching this because it was marketed as BL with an element of horror. I don't particularly enjoy horror as a genre, but BL with horror sounded like something unusual. The setting is in an isolated compound where something bad has happened a couple of years ago. A batch of student athletes are going there for a camp, and they encounter some hauntings (what else).

Unfortunately, the series is rather bland both as BL and as horror.

The BL elements are rather thin. There are actually two BL couples except that their love is revealed rather late in the series and not really focused on. For one of them, the one-sided love is rather suddenly reciprocated as one character kind of suddenly realizes that he is gay and in love with the guy who has confessed his love for him.

As horror, there is hardly anything but a few typical horror scenes. It's rather obvious that the haunting is not done by the ghost everyone thinks is responsible for it, but it is made to seem as though there is a big twist when this is revealed.

Some of the characters, like the director and his daughter, are rather inconsistent and merely seem to serve the situations the writer has come up with.

After trying to make the back stories of what happened a couple of years ago in the camp compound a big mystery for most of the episodes, the revelations (not that many) are rather underwhelming. The ghost problem also become resolved too easily, as though the writer suddenly realized that s/he has got to the last episode already.

Struggle

A good portion of this was a struggle to watch/finish. It would get good then HORRIBLY campy. Idk but personally any Asian drama has yet to scare me with its "horror" concept. (recommend something if you suggest otherwise)
Anyway, so the story was kinda there, the visuals were nothing to complain about but the BL content is obviously the only reason I'm here and.... I'm highly upset. I got a little off-brand "He's Coming Onto Me" feel. The music was eerie and I loved it but other than that there's little to be desired and A LOT to be fixed.
I'm only here cause my subscription was about to end and didn't want to renew it lol
Enjoy...

Barely could finish, bland and boring. Recommend skipping this one.

I really struggled to finish this series. It took me weeks to finish this, and I normally can finish a series like this in a weekend, or maybe a week at most. I rarely drop anything, and I wanted to see the ending so I worked my way through it. I am glad it is is over with.

This series is unique in that it is set in the forest, and doesn't exactly have the high school or college theme -although it is set in a school of some type. There aren't any engineering students that we know of, or pink milk, or any of those other usual topics. However, if you are into someone tripping and falling into the arms of someone, and getting mad at each other but later becoming boyfriends, you won't be disappointed. They threw a couple of those in for good measure.

The story itself was a bit bland and boring, I just couldn't get into it. Each episode dragged on and on, the music was repetitive, and the story wasn't well thought out or produced. Just to give an example of how un-creative this was, they guys kept their real names in the series, they couldn't even bother to have character names.

The one redeeming thing is the guys were cute. And there were a couple good physical contact scenes between them. I can't wait to see them in a better series. I thought the acting was OK for a series like this, but there weren't any outstanding performances.

If they could have shortened this to just 4 episodes, or each episode been only 20 minutes, they could have cut out a bunch of unimportant things, got to the point of the story, and had a decent series. The premise of the story was good, but just not implemented very well.

At best it is a filler series, but even then I wouldn't recommend it unless you were totally out of things to watch. I would rate this as one of the worst series that I have watched this year.

If you like 90's - 00's low budget, "B" rated American movies/series you might like this series.

I know I said in the headline that if you like 90's - 00's low budget, "B" rated American movies you might like this series, but honestly it's more like a "C" or "D" rated series. If you decide to give it a try, don't be surprised if you find yourself bored to death by needless long pauses in conversations, the long awkward stare, and the shallow dialogue.

the base story arc is actually rather good and there are a few moments in a couple of the episodes where it shows, but everything else lets it down and it never really lives up to what it could have been. In movies/series like this there's usually one or two of the cast that give a performance that really stands out from the rest and helps make it worth watching, unfortunately that wasn't the case with this series. This really could have been a rather amazing story and series if it was developed by the right studio with the right cast and crew, but unfortunately it's more of a "If you have nothing better to stand the time on" watch it and forget it series.
