PPL and Propaganda piece disguised as a rom-com
When you fast forward through the awkwardly placed advertisements and the excessively tedious scenes about China's space race (waste of money, resources and detrimental to the environmental btw), you get yourself a cute, light-hearted romantic comedy that is mostly carried by Dilraba Dilmurat.Dilraba is a charming and dynamic presence onscreen, especially in contrast to her leading man, YangYang, who looks like he's posing for a magazine every time he moves. The scenes that focus on the latter - which there are a lot of them as the drama goes into strange science-fiction territory - are pretty boring. The dialogue is difficult to understand, YangYang's acting ranges between looking serious and mildly surprised, and the propaganda is so blatant and annoying. I swear, if I took a shot every time a character said "For the glory of the motherland" I would be passed out drunk on the kitchen floor.
Nevertheless, the scenes in which are leads are together are sweet (even if they do sometimes feel shallow with all the talk about looks). Dilraba and YangYang have good chemistry together which makes up for the latter's otherwise boring and wooden presence onscreen.
I would not watch it again, and would advise anyone who is interested in watching this for the leads and the romance to fast forward through all of the aerospace stuff and treat episode 30 as if it were the last episode.

A little bored but I still like it
this is a good drama, the beginning of the episode I quite liked it and was waiting for a legendary scene soon for the opening of the episode, but I didn't find a special scene, until almost a quarter of the episode of this drama I felt bored, sometimes the story is too serious in work life, even so I will keep watching until the last episode hoping there are some new surprises. I think they should have added some funny scenes or something that made me fell in love at the beginning of this story, indeed there were some, but there were no scene parts that really made me fall in love with this e-sports genre. Usually e-sports genre dramas will really make me fall in love... I hope that future episodes will give me the impression that this drama is very good and deserves to be the most awaited drama. Even though I was bored strangely, I chose to stay watching this drama, maybe because the actors were Dilraba and Yangyang, the story in this drama also seemed to give me curiosity to keep watching it. I'll see you when I've watched the middle of the episode, if I don't forget I'll give another review, I'm sure the rating I gave will go up, hopefullyWas this review helpful to you?
Love the cast, but the story was meh
I loved the cast in this, but I felt that the story dragged A LOT, especially around the second half. I was very much intrigued and drawn in by the first 15 or so episodes, but found that I slowly lost interest afterwards because so little was happening. They could have done so much in terms of plot and character development, and although I liked the cute moments, I wished there was more going on or maybe even some conflict in the second half. (For example, in the first 10 episodes or so, Xia Qing (Yu Tu's ex) had said she would never allow Yu Tu and Jing Jing to get together, but we never heard from her again afterwards. Even though it might have been a little cliche, I would have loved to see loose ends like these tied up.)I did, however, I like the music/OST's in this drama, though I can't see myself doing a complete rewatch.

The best part of this would be at middle to end. I've read the novel and I appreciate that they followed the original plot. I don't understand why someone would give low rating for it. If your into medium light plot not too heavy then this is for you. It's not really too heavy for me but it's shows you the reality that most us are facing. For instance, yutu is lost and wanted to give up his dream of becoming a aerospace engineer due to low salary. He was the so called genius who graduated in business finance and engineering at the same time however he choose his dream and in the end failed to provide for his family. He was prideful when he was younger, he didn't really think qiao jingjing would fit him. He told her that he wanted someone who can understand and assist him. He didn't think qiao jing jing has that ability coz she's not the smartest in the class. Although qjj is in a top class she is not the top student. It wasn't enough for him. He dated the top student instead but eventually they broke up coz the girl didn't understand how important his job is to him. Ten years later he met her again, this time he realized that ever since the beginning it was only jing jing who understood him the most. Qiao jing jing even know his dreams and aspirations and always supported him even now that he's about to let go. That's the time he realized hes very arrogant. Even though he started to like her he can't manage to be with her. Hes too ashamed that he cannot provide for her. Qiao jing jing on the other hand didn't care but he left her broken hearted for the second time around. The day of their separation is the most exciting part of the novel. I'm pretty sure it'll show on the cdrama as well. This drama has a 100m view on the 4hrs of its airing. It only means it's a great drama. Please watch it until the end. There is more to life than money.
While I am not sure what the director wanted to show when they started writing this drama. There is enough fluff in it to take the bad mood off from a tiring day.There is no big conflict, or a villain per se. There are exes, but I believe they are there for reference point more so than any true friction adding capability to the main couple.
The main leads look beautiful and well paired. Enjoying Yang Yang's performance as someone who is good at what he does and yet is insecure about where he is in life. And Dilruba is cool as the well established actress with a good head on her shoulders. It doesn't look natural, but is entertaining.
Romance takes 20 episodes to start, so come in with patience.

C-Drama terbaik menurut Madam!Jalan cerita yang sesuai dengan novelnya. Awalnya agak takut kalo jalan ceritanya bakal ditambah-tambahin untuk menambah kesan dramatisir. Tapi untungnya gak jadi pas dan sangat memuaskan :D

Yang Yang dan Dilraba!!! sudahlah tidak ada lawannya pasangan ini. Saking sempurna chemistrynya Madam sampe gak sadar ini lagi nonton seri bukan lagi ngintipin tetangga pacaran :") Satu hal yang sering menganggu Madam kalo nonton C-Drama adalah adegan ciuman yang sering kaku dan aneh dilihatnya tapi di YAMY sama sekali gak ada tuh kaku atau angle ciuman yang aneh. Yang Yang you are a good kisser!! hahaha Jam terbang memang gak bisa bohong.

Untuk pertama kalinya, saya berpuas hati dengan adaptasi dari novel ke drama. You’re My Glory benar-benar tidak mengecewakan. Terbaik!Sebelum ini, saya was-was untuk jadi fan drama ini sebab takut ia tidak seperti yang saya jangkakan. Saya takut kecewa jikalau adaptasinya berbeza dari novel. Rupa-rupanya, tanggapan saya salah. Gu Man, you’re the best!
BERBALOI untuk ditonton!
Amaran : Pada permulaan cerita, bagi sesetengah penonton... mungkin agak slow dan kebanyakkannya topik ‘games’. Tapi, sila bersabar. ‘Games’ hanya penghubung Jing Jing dan Yutu setelah 10 tahun x bertemu. Semuanya akan berubah secara logik sehingga episode ke-20.
Selepas itu, wowwwww... kita akan disajikan dengan perubahan karakter Yutu. Ditambah lagi dengan kenakalan karakter Jing Jing. Bagi yang single, sila bersabar!???
Terlalu banyak adegan romantik sehinggakan kita ketawa dan tersenyum sendiri-sendiri macam orang gila!???

Historia de un amor maduro
Disfrute mucho el ver este drama, es de esos pocos dramas que dan calidez al alma...me.gusta por qué centraron la historia en un amor maduro, cuentan desde el comienzo y luego podes ver crecer los personaje, ver cómo va madurando la relación entre ellos, ver sus dilemas personales...de los pocos drama que no adicionan en la historia cosas para dilatar la misma como terceros en discordia....es muy reconfortante ver este drama y quedé con muchas ganas de seguir viendo estos personajes y sus interacciones...ojalá haya una segunda temporada para los que amamos ver este drama.Was this review helpful to you?
Era baru drama China
Sejak gosip awal pembuatan drama ini saya tidak merasakan apa-apa karena menganggap biasa saja. Selalunya nonton drama sudah setengah episode tayang atau tamat baru nonton (kecuali CLoY - streaming TVn untuk 2 eps terakhir).Tapi entah kenapa pas YAMG tayang baru eps awal sudah tertarik untuk menonton dan karena penasaran langsung cuzz cari novelnya, Oh My Allah...saya sangat-sangat suka apabila cerita di novel hampir semuanya diadapatasi ke drama walaupun ada sedikit perbedaan malah menjadikan dramanya semakin menarik. Saya penggemar novel apabila novel diadaptasi ke film atau drama maka minimal 90% harus sesuai jalan ceritanya.
Drama pertama yang membuat saya harus merogoh kantong lebih dalam karena harus berlanggangan WeTV VIP dan fast track untuk 2 Minggu penayangan dan hasilnya sangat-sangat memuaskan dengan senyum-senyum sendiri melihat perkembangan hubungan Jing Jing dan Yutu.
Dengan menonton sinetron Indo**** yang selalu ada pelakornya maka menonton YAMG seperti healing jiwa .
Walaupun ada yang mengatakan bahwa separuh episode awal agak membosankan tapi saya sangat menikmatinya terutama eps 13-14. Latar cerita yang berbeda dengan drama modern lainnya (Aahhh saya bosan dengan cerita CEO dan gadis miskin serta cerita percintaan ABG) dan visual yang menyilaukan membuat drama ini layak menjadi CDrama no. 1 bagi saya saat ini karena saya bukan fans Yang Yang maupun Dilraba. Saya hanyalah seorang penikmat drama sebagai bagian healing jiwa ditengah kesibukan bekerja.

Dramma rom com tipico cinese.
Un dramma come molti nello stile comedia romantica anche se qua non c'è tanta comedia.Il cast convince più della storia perché lei è perfetto in questo ruolo e lei perfetta a fare la superstar.Purtroppo come molti dramma cinesi si perdono tanto nel racconto del lavoro,qui lui è un ingeniere aerospaziale e questo penalizza la storia d'amore che invece ci mette troppo a decolare e poi solo nelle puntate finali possiamo godercela.
Nel complesso un bel dramma che si vede velocemente e che merita anche solo per la chimica tra i due protagonisti.

Pochi conflitti per una storia molto convincente
Questo drama è stato per me una piacevole sorpresa. Della bravura di Dilraba non dubitavo perché l'avevo già vista diverse volte in precedenza, ma non mi aspettavo che Yang Yang, oltre che bello da paura, fosse anche così bravo. E devo anche riconoscere che praticamente la totalità degli attori e personaggi di spalla e di contorno ha fatto un lavoro egregio. Molti personaggi tra cui sicuramente i principali hanno conosciuto una piacevole evoluzione, ed è stato veramente gradevole vedere il procedere della relazione fra i due protagonisti. Entrambi sono stati caratterizzati come persone molto verosimili, con pregi e difetti. Reali. Grandi assenti le lunghissime incomprensioni tanto care ai drama, che dividono i protagonisti per decenni... Qui, dopo un inizio un po' burrascoso, le cose filano lisce. Con nostro grande piacere.Per quanto riguarda la storia, non si può dire che abbia conosciuto uno svolgimento particolarmente aggressivo. Le conflittualità sono state obiettivamente poche, eppure ciò non ha minimamente inficiato il valore dell'intrattenimento di questa serie. L'unico appunto che forse si può fare è il fatto che nelle prime puntate l'attenzione si focalizzi tutta su un videogioco, mentre nel prosieguo questo aspetto viene praticamente a sparire. La seconda parte infatti è molto più dedicata all'impresa aerospaziale, forse un po' troppo, perché la carriera di Dilraba, che pure prosegue, passa un poo' in secondo piano.
E qui veniamo a quella che è forse un po' la nota dolente di questa serie: la grandeur dell'autocompiacimento cinese per le proprie imprese. Ma, dico io, basta guardare un film americano per incappare in autocompiacimenti di livello anche superiore, che francamente hanno stufato da mo'.
Più che altro, si ha l'impressione che questo drama, che utilizza attori già adulti e che sembra rivolgersi a un pubblico non prettamente di ragazzine, voglia affrontare il discorso delle convenzioni sociali e dell'importanza che ha per il grande paese lo spirito di sacrificio di coloro che lavorano nei campi scientifici.
Ma il mio pensiero è: se è così importante avere degli scienziati, degli ingegneri aerospaziali così bravi e preparati, perché non pagarli un po' di più in modo che non siano costretti ad abbandonare la professione per cercare uno stipendio più dignitoso per la famiglia? D'accordo lo spirito di sacrificio, ma il merito andrebbe ricompensato.
Detto questo, occorre rilevare come ci siano state diverse scene piuttosto... diciamo accattivanti, con baci bollenti e conversazioni suggestive che hanno reso diverse puntate abbastanza birichine, molto più di come siamo abituati guardando le opere cinesi. Bisogna riconoscere che Yang Yang sa come baciare davanti alla macchina da presa e i suoi sguardi e le sue espressioni sono materia per sogni bagnati. Non so se sia doppiato, ma se questa è la sua voce, tanta roba. Sarà che ho visto questa serie d'estate, ma per certe scene ci vuole un ventaglio. O un ventilatore. E un ghiacciolo. La chimica fra questi due è esplosiva, sono di una naturalezza incredibile, sembrano fatti l'uno per l'altra. Non c'è possibilità di elementi di disturbo né per lui né per lei: i vecchi amori di entrambi non hanno mai avuto alcuna possibilità e infatti sono spariti ben presto, rimessi a posto con poche secche parole.
Anche le musiche sono state molto gradevoli, ci sono stati dei pezzi strumentali molto piacevoli e molto ben utilizzati nei momenti in cui servivano, e anche le canzoni opening ending e insert si sono lasciate ascoltare molto volentieri.
In sunto, un dramma molto piacevole che, proprio perché prodotto di intrattenimento così lineare, gentile e simpatico, a mio parere regge benissimo una seconda visione, anche solo per vedere l'interazione di questi due, così teneri.
Non aspettatevi colpi di scena e scintille ad ogni episodio, perché le scintille di questo drama le fanno i due protagonisti che, già da soli, riescono a rendere questo lavoro indimenticabile. Aggiungiamoci tutto il contorno, che è fatto molto bene, e abbiamo un drama assolutamente da non perdere.
