I REGRET NOT WATCHING THIS SOONER
I regret dropping this last year, I was able to finish this today as I was in a Yang Yang drama craze after watching Fireworks of my Heart and it’s safe to say I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS DRAMA. They had one of the most natural skinship and sweet moments, almost felt real at times. For most cdramas there will still be a hint of awkwardness when it comes to sweet scenes but Yang Yang and Dilraba made it look so natural. No fuss, just doing what they do best. This is definitely a drama worth for an annual rewatch. Just in for the fluff but finished this feeling empty because of the two leadsWas this review helpful to you?

Great drama!
I liked this drama so much. It was very enjoying, I laughed, I cried etc.The story was nice, the acting, the music and everything I liked it very much. I hope they will come more with this kind of dramas in the future. I see a lot of dramas coming but mature ones liked this one I really miss.
Yang Yang and Dilraba have also very good chemistry.
It is a mustwatch!

A solid drama and performance
A solid 10 out of 10 !just recently watched it, the thing i regretted the most was watching it so late. this drama so good, the plot, the characters arc, the ost, the cinematography are very well executed. Both Yangyang and dilraba really potrayed the character well, the animated game scene is great as well. No unnecessary lengthy plot, no lengthy misunderstanding. I enjoyed the drama and never skip a scene.

✨️ 2025 and still going strong
I watched this drama two years ago and I still think it's one of my favourites. The female lead is a walking green flag and deserves all the love and respect in the world. So, this is my appreciation review for Qiao Jing Jing.
There's this mindset where the FL has to "not be like the other girls" and that's why the ML falls for them — and while I'm not hating on this trope because quite frankly, they're my favourite ones, it is also overdone.
But Jing Jing is literally one of those "other" girls and it doesn't take anything from her. It doesn't take away her kindness or her emotional intelligence or just how freaking awesome she is. It doesn't stop her from finding love with Yu Tu. She can be supportive and not booksmart, and she can have a walk-in closet with too many clothes and not do well in school — and gasp! A man still loves her!
It's that idea that sold me to this drama. The way the writers were willing to make Yu Tu realise his mistakes and that Jing Jing's only mistake was falling for a arrogant teenager and still managing to fall more in love with him after they meet (I say this lovingly).
This is just such a mature drama and I love it so much.
Yu Tu has his own personal growth with his job and family, but his growth with Jing Jing was simply wonderful. He didn't develop feelings overnight. He got to know her, saw her schemes and found amusment in them. He saw the person she was as his classmate, and then the person she became after.
This drama has a beautiful love story and ya'll should watch it or at least give it a try. Though -sigh- Dilraba's makeup is awful and I don't understand why they wanted to white wash her so much 😕

a slice of fun and comfort
Real Review with Romance category is 8.9/10First, let’s talk about what I didn’t like.
1. There’s no way being an aerospace engineer needs to be be THIS TAXING. Why are they so dramatic (I assume in real life too lol)
2. The plot had no plot after about the half way mark (a lil after they get together) and starts jumping all over the place.
That’s about it….these are few but I will say the watch experience is heavily held back by these few concerns. We’re set up to believe that the plot is going to be about her winning the guest gaming competition, but that happens before the halfway mark and we slowly switch out to a different setting and environment entirely which I don’t think is bad, but I do think this show felt like five different shows as opposed to one show.
With that in mind, I still ate up all of it because the chemistry between the main leads was impeccable. I actually quite liked the fact that a lot of of the tension in the second half of the storyline is less about them having issues and more about them living their life as a couple. It’s really nice when the plot deviates from the cliché oh actually we have to break up because of my ex-girlfriend or something like that. I also think they turned a lot of clichés on their head. Like his ex and her role in the plot was a lot simpler than what would normally be the case and that was refreshing. I also really liked how they got married because I think a lot of the times they do backpedal and decide to have an extravagant wedding, especially when the female lead is some kind of celebrity. I also thought her role as an actress was interesting because we were told at the beginning she’s super popular and famous but because again it’s focusing on her winning the competition she’s not leaving the house — No one‘s taking photos of her in that way so you don’t really believe that she’s famous. Then when they switch settings/plot line and she’s finally actually in the spotlight again you see that she is a really popular actress but she’s such a nice actress it’s almost like there’s no way she’s an actress. 😂
I understand that we needed his point of view as an aerospace engineer, but I personally skipped some parts of it just because it was too in the weeds and didn’t feel relevant to me. They did a great job of building suspense around the aerospace engineering department though, I will give them that.
We get to see them fall in love and I am so glad that he has to work and ache a bit for her after rejecting her like a fool.
The paparazzi scene was hilarious and while I hate paparazzi, I did feel bad that three of their days were wasted in terms of their photos being deleted. I do feel like after the paparazzi scene is kind of where we lose the plot because each episode feels so separate from the last one that the show starts to feel like a slice of life as opposed to a series with a continuous plot. We have three time jumps of 2 years, 1 month, and 5 years. This was jarring and aggressive, it takes you out the story especially because we don’t time jump at all until the last 5 episodes or so.
But because the couple has such good chemistry, they really do carry so much of the weight of the show and I was kicking and squealing every time they were together on screen. I would watch so many more episodes of just them gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes as they promise to be together forever because they were perfect. I’m actually really wishing that there was an aerospace + actress duo out there in the world right now that everyone could look up to as a super cute & healthy couple.
***Original Thoughts & Ideas***
- Honestly, the show really does a good job of showing how complex love can be while still being so simple and straightforward. Yu Tu overthinks, overcomplicates and over-stresses about the little things to the point that he almost missed out on a good relationship with a partner that truly understands him. Qiao Jing Jing loves him very wholeheartedly and through the innocence of adolescence. Once they are together, their struggle is distance because of their work but it’s balanced by the fact that they truly adore one another which ig I’m bias bc I was long distance with my husband and I’m also truly obsessed with him too.

Best romantic comedy
Loved the story. Loved the acting. It will help you enjoy a stress free weekend. The chemistry between leads are amazing. I kept watching and it was a good show. You don't need to think much about this drama. Just watch it and you won't regret it. I loved the chasing dream part and supports their close ones give to achieve those dreams. And it’s hard to keep going after failing many times. The main leads have very good understanding and they heal each other. In short, I loved the drama. It’s a must watch!

the scene about learning games is very boring and doesn't need to be that long
this Yang Yang and Dilraba, two Chinese actors that I likeThe beginning of this drama is interesting, the acting of the two here also shows appropriate emotions. I like FL's acting here, it's funny. The chemistry between the two main characters can also be seen.
but the next plot when we enter the scene about learning in games, I have to say that it's boring and too long! waste of time and very uninteresting.
Why did the production team push so hard to make a game learning scene that long? I know they are drama sponsors, but this is too much time waster and not worth seeing.
I had to jump to the episode where the game tournament episode was finally shown, then did a lot of skipping because there were a lot of less important drama scenes
in the middle of the drama I started to feel that the main character's acting became less interesting, I thought like the emotions of the two of them didn't reach me
I like the ending of the story but not the moment where ML comes out of his office after the rocket launch, I'm confused why there will almost be conflict and misunderstanding there, luckily it doesn't
the drama is good, but it doesn't say much more than that.

good
many dislike because of ,ml career or not depth to the characters, first of all 90% cdrama don't show a proper slow burn romance? or chemistry? i drop many just because of this ? this one they don't show how much FML liked him in past, but it's slow burn ,they have romantic interaction before and after relationship, they have healthy relationship, love isn't forced random or fast ? atleast they show how romance actually should be , ml career scenes were unnecessary and too long you have to skip it, most high rated cdrama don't even have a proper romance or how it should be , many cdrama has good background plot but focus is always other things? other unnecessary things in cdrama are villians, side characters,2nd couples, drama etc you need drma like this when you watch too many like the one I mentioned above where romance is non-existentWas this review helpful to you?

One of the best!
This is how a good drama should be! Good writing, direction, incredible good OST, top notch actors! Finally a real mature drama with healthy relationships (friends, co-workers, partners, family, etc), high quality scripts, funny, flirtatious and intelligent. It blown my mind the level of the emotional intelligence they shown. An most important thing, without unnecessary drama! I feel bad for myself to not have the capability to confront my problems with that attitude and to not have that type of friends and family around. I know, I know, it's just a drama. but what a drama!
I cried my eyes out and laughed till my cheeks hurt. Had a stupid-smile in my face for the last episodes. For me there wasn't any flaws moments. They gave a post-marriage footage that felt real and mature, with a healthy comunication skills.
Yes, there are a lot of MOBA-talk and NASA-talk but i loved it! if you are not into it I understand maybe you can feel bored and skip parts, but it was so fascinating how explained so well that you find yourself immersed in that topic and understand better their choices.
