At the Noodle Cart: Korean edition [October 2020] “Dok Go Bin Is Updating” is a comedic story of a friendship between college student Ha Deok Ho and AI robot with a heart of gold Dok Go Bin. Ha Deok Ho is a freshmen who is kind and cute, but is unable to read the room at any time. Meanwhile, Dok Go Bin was supposed to be one of the greatest works in history with the perfect combination of hardware and software but was mysteriously released with the label of “Incomplete”. A feel good slice of life with a side of futuristic science
I watched it because I really like the idea of friendship between human and humanoid robots. And I wasn't really disappointed. The story is nothing extraordinary but it is entertaining nonetheless.The cast is good looking and they acted well as I could see it. The relationship among the main characters , specially between the male leads is nice to watch. And although it's a short drama, it was good to see the lead character growing in that short span of time.
It's a drama you can watch when you don't want to use your brain too hard watching layers of plot unraveling and just want to feel good on a lazy afternoon before going to take a nap. I will probably not even gonna remember this drama let alone rewatch it. But, I did not get bored once and was rather engaged while I was watching.
