Dear My First Love ?? Not too bad at all Jaehyun

I don't normally write reviews for shows, but for Jaehyun, I will flush out my opinion as best and articulately as possible.

Story/Overall, 9.0:
Honestly, I rate purely on enjoyment and vibes so 9.0. It was easy to watch and something I really enjoyed. Although the misunderstanding trope is used, and essentially, there is no "surprise" on who ends up with who, I still liked the storyline. I do warn that for those who don't like unnecessary conflict in terms of romance, this might be one to skip, but the drama was too fun to watch for me to give a low number. It's an excellent university drama. It kept my attention, and it was a show where I looked forward to watching each episode. It is NOT a PERFECT storyline, but again, I'm only here to have fun. I apologize that I'm not a connoisseur and rate purely based on my own feelings.

Acting, 8.0:
Let me address the two main leads first. Aside from Jaehyun being the loml, I tend to be a critic of idol actors. I don't think that being an idol's first role as an actor should be used as an excuse for bad acting. I tried my best to go into this drama without any bias whether positive or negative because I wanted to take his acting for what it is. That being said, Jaehyun pleasantly surprised me. As a role overall, he portrayed Cha Minho extremely well. In the beginning, I did find certain areas to be a bit awkward, but I also felt that his character was a good cover for the awkwardness. As the drama progressed, the awkwardness went away, and I can't imagine anyone playing his character as lovable as he did. Cha Minho was my favorite character. Jaehyun definitely has the dorky, sweet, and naive role down.

Putting aside Park Hye Soo's scandal, her portrayal of Ma Joo Ah was fine. Although my feelings about her acting might admittedly stem from Ma Joo Ah being my least favorite character. I felt that Joo Ah lacked any depth. Her character leans too much on the cliche of being cheery and not particularly smart. Her struggles just fell flat for me, and her storyline was the one I least looked forward to seeing. I wanted to understand her position, but I felt she took for granted some of the things she had and never recognized them until they benefited her. I understand that every character has flaws, but maybe it's because her cliche is just seen too much. Everyone else takes care of her, and I can't really understand why. I dislike female leads who act like her and add almost nothing to the show except just to be the girl the guy likes. Luckily, the redemption comes from Seo Jimin and Hwang Bo Young.

Speaking of, the other actors did a wonderful job with their portrayal. They kept the show running at a good clip during such a huge portion of the time. I have never seen Love Playlist, but from the opinions of friends who have, Roh Jeong Eui played Seo Jimin extremely well. From an outsider's opinion, I really liked Jeong Eui's character and her portrayal. She ended up as my second favorite character. The other storylines and characters were all interesting and well developed (especiallyfor a university drama). Again, the portrayal of Hwang Bo Young was really strong, and I loved her. Lee Jin Hyuk/Mokjin, dare I say, I kept forgetting he was an idol himself because of how good his acting was. Bae Hyun Sung/ Park Ha Neul was honestly really cute, and his acting made me sympathetic to the character the entirety of the show.

I wish that there might have been some version of seeing consequences at the end of one of the characters, but regardless, I was already expecting everyone to end up with who they ended up with. In the end, there were almost no surprises, but I enjoyed the ride so I'm not at all mad.

Music, 6.5:
There are very few OSTs (if more than one?) to even speak of. There were covers of songs, but the only true OST that's constantly mentioned, I've yet to hear the full version. Not very memorable, but I'm not sure it was needed. I have to admit Jaehyun's singing was something I was desperately hoping for (and got in the form of song covers, but very beautiful song covers that I will be replaying on YouTube for the next year).

Rewatch 7.5:
I honestly might watch it again after a while. I'm not really much of a rewatcher for shows, and I consider this rating on how I would RECOMMEND it as a rewatch show. It went by extremely fast, and I would almost wish there were more episodes to watch if I didn't hate dragging storylines so much. The length, truthfully, was pretty much perfect. It's something I'll have to recommend to people who enjoy web dramas because that feeling is present throughout. It's cute, sweet, and pretty short (which means less time commitment or possibility of drag for me, very much a plus in my eyes).

cheesy and cute

I am a bit unsure of how to rate this drama.

It was unbearable at times- if you don't enjoy the cringy kdrama tropes, do not watch it. The female lead (joo ah) was really annoying to watch at times and although jaehyun did a relatively good job, the male leads character was a bit bland.

The second couple really got on my nerves, I thought it was an aspect of the drama that was quite unnecessary. Gil Mok Jin and Bo Young, however, were super cute.
I think they were the most unique and likeable characters- with Gil Mok Jin having OCD and Bo Young diabetes, which isn't commonly see in kdramas.

The story is quite interesting, showcasing different struggles one might face as a university student. If that's not what you're into, don't watch it. Otherwise, it is a solid drama, but I likely won't watch it again.

Warm and refreshing to watch, stress reliever. MUST WATCH!!!

I have watched many K-Dramas before, but this is my first time reviewing one...This drama was definately a hit for me! , it had many small details which made it more enjoyable to watch.I hope you like my review and the drama too. (which I am hoping you are going to watch after this review kkkk)
Its going to be very detailed so this could be read after watching the drama as-well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Based on the web series "Love PLaylist", It is a drama which revolves around the campus lives of- Ma Joo-ah (Park Hye-soo), Cha Min-ho (NCT Jeong Jae-hyun), Seo Ji-min (Roh Jeong-eui), Park Ha-neul (Bae Hyun-sung), Gil Mok-Jin (Lee Jin-Hyuk), Hwang Bo-Young (Woo Da-Vi). That's what pulled me to watch this drama as it has been a long time since I have seen Uni one.

There are many things I wish to address but I will write this one without giving away much.
As the name suggests 'DEAR.M' is a mysterious person writing a love letter on the school app making us wonder throughout the drama...who could it be??? Just freaking tell us and end it here. And I won't tell you that, just gonna give a hint that the least expected person is always the culprit...This drama was a roller coaster of emotions, at some moment all are happy, elited and someday are not feeling it.... it also potrays the difficulties it faced to be in a prestigious university. And yes, a sweet romanace- with ups and downs. There are so many cute lovey- dovey scenes which will melt our hearts so BEWARE.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ma Joo-ah is a lively girl who will always uplifts the mood of those around her.She is a second year student in the Business Administrator department. She is childhood friends with Cha Min-ho who is in Computer Sci department. In the 1st Episode she encounters a handsome, kind, sweet guy Moon Joon, and falls heads over heels for him . (who turns out to be Min-ho's senior).
Min-ho has feelings towards Joo-ah but becomes her wingman as she decides to win Moon Joon Sunbae's heart. And yeah, like always, you feel bad for the bestie who has feelings.( it is hilarious to see him jealous all the time lol he is supeerr cutieee, I love the way he worries about Joo ah all the time). He takes Joo-ah's mom to be his mom as well that's how close they are.

Cha Min-ho is brilliant at coding and its impressive that he completes his assignments in just an hour. He has never had a long relationship with someone before that's because he always prefers Joo-ah (his girl space friend over girlfriend). He is creative with developing apps and coming with different ideas. Min ho's parents died in a car accident on a rainy day, when he was young, since then his elder sister has taken care of him ( she keeps her wish to attend college aside and takes up jobs to support them . She struggles a lot as she is only a high school graduate. She is the best Noona everr)
Min-ho has a lot of respect for her and wants to earn and give back to the noona who has taken care of him all his life. He saves up a lot of money doing part time jobs... when he comes to know that his sister is going to get married ,he feels that the money he has saved up is not lot, as weddings are extravagant. He has always felt that he was a baggage for her and stopped her from persuing her dreams. She later explains that she did not put him first but it was the choices she made. She also mentions that she has nothing but to brag about Min ho to her in-laws
The most emotional scene was when Min-ho said that she was not his mom (as she took care of him as one) but also a daughter of mom and she should take care of herself as well.

My heart tore apart in the scene where he got conned of 10 million won, because he wanted to invest some money to do greater good for his app. The analogy used between 'lost of money' and 'lost of youth' saddned my heart. As he worked his a** off for it. Joo ha knows how to take care of him and always puts some sense into him is what I liked about their friendship.
He was going to drop out of college to earn money,,,,but she stops himmm.

Joo ha has never had a dream and did not know what she wanted to in life. She even got confused about the dates of her exam and missed it and it was during the mid-terms, so silly of her..... .When she builds her interest in baseball to be liked by sunbae,
she then knows what she wants to be and chases her dream..you go girl!!!! There were some hilarious scenes between the two.
I liked the chemistry between her and Moon joon sunbae at the beginning which slowly and gradually faded away . You'll know when you watch the drama,, I am not going to spill the tea now..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When we talk about the SN couple a.k.a Magnet couple,
Seo Ji Min and Park Na Neul are the perfect campus couple which everyone adores... and yup they are the cutest
Like, from Na-neul sending Ji min the temperature and suggesting her to wear a cardigan when it was cold and stuff to
him video calling her asking which clothes he should wear.
I have seen Roh Jeong-eui act before in 18 AGAIN(which is amazing drama I must say) and I fell in love with her,,she so damn beautiful ......the way she conveys her emotions and feelings tells us that she was tailor-made for acting-- They look super duper awesome together....but what's going to seperate them is ........is a third person....and a forth person yeah CRAZY RIGHT??!!!
Seo Ji Min is very caring and loving towards everyone, she has high tolerence level for alcohol.
Park Na Neul had just lost his father who was in the army and he had changed his Major and was adjusting to it, Ji Min supported him.
Thier relationship strong at first becomes fragile as Ji-Min's former friend (Choi Ro-sa) who had gone to exchange programe had returned and developed feelings for Na nuel...This trail followed misunderstandings, lost of trust, losing friendship, jealousy and what not...
Many would say that Ji min was over-reacting to it and she should have trust her boyfriend. If I put myself in her shoes, I would have felt the same as Ji min.. there were many co-incidents that were happening that made her suspecious of her boyfriend cheating on her.She started losing trust on him. But, she never told him that he was at fault. She always blamed herself that she had a major crush on him for ages and felt that she liked him more than he did. Na nuel (who always was in his own world and does not understand hints.... I am surprised with the fact that he knew that Min ho had a crush on Joo ha)
He had a tough time as he had changed his major and Ro sa always helped himm as she was already in the same department( plus point for her). She is a worst friend ... Ji min is so radiant that everyone gets attracted towards her and Ro sa feels inferior to her. She plays dirty tricks to win favor.... tries to steal Na nuel as well, knowing that both are immensely in love with each other.

The scenes where Ro sa takes pictures of the skies 'na-neul' , uses the same pet name 'ma-neul' as Ji min, taken his pictures secretly, used the same keychain as the couple, sits beside him every freaking where, threw Ji min's uniform in the dustbin and spilled coffee ... are the ones most hated by me. The most surprising thing was she had justification for everything she did. The so-called co-incidents were actually done by her...off course. lol like I hate her..really do. She made our cutesy couple break-up and I hated that-(credits to the actor who played Ro sa as she really did her job making me wanting to slap her!! )
At the start the dirty games played by her was not minded much by Ji min, so I felt they will not break up but they did which can be justified . Ji min came to know about Ro sa's feelings but,did not tell anything to Na neul...he always felt somethng was wrong . In my opinion, she should have told him everything but, there was this thing that her pride would hurt if she had told him to maintain distance with her so-called friend Ro sa.
She is the lead center in her cheer group which also made Ro sa jealous. Ro sa is not focused on her life but their life... like gurl get some life....
Ji min wanted to be stopped by Na nuel when she broke up...the scene where she tells her roomates her break-up and that she packed her things slowly and walked slowly out of the cafe thinking that he would stop her from leaving... bought 1000 tears to my eyessss!!!!
Na-nuel does not act fast.. he sat there like a statue....not speaking a word. He then becomes miserable after break-up which is also taken as an advantage by Ro sa.
The fact that when he was drunk, he gave a back hug to Ro sa thinking it was Ji min made him feel sorry and that he commited a crime made me feel bad for him....Throughout the drama he made us know that he is not very expressive, everyone acts in a certain way but should know how to act, what to act when..
special credits to Ban yi-dam who gave company to Ji min after her break up....was our straightforward guy(I felt the contrast between him and Na neul). He liked Ji min and told her openly about it,though younger he was mature. When accused of flirty nature he said I tell the truth...the forth one to get involved.... I should say this was a love square or a rhombus.
When Min ha war removed from her group....Yi- dam consoled her in a way telling her to find something else to do and that she could built interest in something else. Min ha loved to be on stage and perform she was always doing that.
Changing her dream at this point is a little...um um.. Na nuel took the initiative to convince the two girls that they should accept their mistake as they also wouldn't want Min ha to leave,, which made me repect him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lee Jin hyuk added the perfect touch needed to the drama, he is amazing and a cool person (he is my fav)
The cleaning expert, he had OCD and was kicked out of other dorm because he was too clean lolll. His dream thing to buy was an automatic cleaning machine hahaha...:))))
Hwang bo young who initially looked cold ....was actually a sweet heart. She is pretty......She has type 1 diabetes and it is scary to the point that she had to carry medicines everywhere, take regular tests and inject insulin shots, and drink juice when sugar level gets low.she could also get hypoglycemic shocks as well. She is the dating expert here, she listens to her roommates and gives them the best advice.
I felt that Jin hyuk and she wouldn't end up together but I liked their chemistry as well. I wish they could show more about these two.....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OTHERS-
Overall the drama gave me happy vibes and I would give it a second watch as well.....
I liked the scene where they all played games during their getaway, Jin hyuk had arranged everything for them. We got to see the character development of all these amazing people.
The only thing that I didn't like was they made the drama a bit rushed at the end. It is sure a 12 episode drama but it felt like it was longer. I felt it was a little stretched at some parts.
There were so many instances where they are like "I would like to have a talk". which after a point gets so irritating.
The scene where Jin ah was consoled by Min ho after that Sunbae thing and when he hugged her after the pepper spray incident bought butterlies in my belly.
I hope you liked my review ,, because I poured my heart into this....Thank you.

What am i even watching, a repetative endless story

I commented it before but this drama was similar to eating a huge cotton candy with no end at sight (first bites enjoyable but got extremely dull soon). The only thing that kept me interested was how Rosa’s situation would be handled but even that made me more and more annoyed as the time went on.

Why would no one communicate? Not a single character. Maybe Mok Jin & Bo Young were the exception and i really wished we had more of them and less from the others especially the main pairing if they even should be called that.

Joo Ah, as sweet as she was, she resembled a pre schooler and i’m not talking about relationship history. Very uninteresting and plain character. I don’t think the writers meant it that way, but with her I feel like she lacks the understanding that anyone is able to get chances in life with hard work and necessary skills - and that said, not only her but others as well. Too often we see this character wallowing in self pity of ”why not me”. When facing a disappointment she at some point mentions ”but i prepared so hard” - did you really? As a viewer I really didn’t catch that, making her a bit shallow even.

Like with many of the other characters, she’s also not able to communicate at all. I found myself skipping at times watching her and Minho’s parts. I think I’d rather had Minho find someone else, it’s almost as if he had to coax Joo Ah to like him.

The Jimin & Haneul thing, i knew they’d be breaking up but hoped for something more extreme than due to not talking. In the last episodes where they were finally talking I didn’t even get what they were on about (Haneul everytime left dramatically alone apologizing - for what?)

Moon Joon part was interesting as was much of the other stuff happening that had nothing to do with the relationships.

Aren’t they supposed to be uni students? Maybe i’m not in the target audience in the end and this is for even younger people.

'87802' What could it mean?

Friend to lover, First love and Unexpected love.

This Drama takes only place at the university and is converted more or less about witnessing love.

The Story mainly focuses on Ma Joo Ah and Cha Min Ho who are friends for 12 years. Cha Min Ho started building strong feelings toward Joo Ah after she fell in love with his Hyung. He who is very caring and protects her and she who sees him as a strong pillar she can lean on but have no feeling for him become confused about her own desire after he confesses his true feeling toward her. It become a standard " I don't want to lose my best friend just because of dating" situation. Luckily we have two reasonable leads and it comes out naturally and that's beautiful.

With Na Neul and Ji Min comes spice to the peaceful world.
The story of them has a big loser and that is Ji min. They both are naive in their own way. For me personally, he doesn't try enough to understand her and fight for her trust. She trusts too much and so comes an even bigger disappointment that she can't handle. I don't want to talk about Ro Sa too much, because of spoilers but what I can say is that I'm not one with her action, but understand her feeling.

The third couple is very light but no less beautiful.
In of world of a bunch of young people, there is nothing sexier than a powerful and smart lady who stands strong and wipe the tear of the younger ones. Is a classic " look close to you " story to find the right one.

Overall the story is very short with a lot of filler mini-stories. Like the Dance club that causes trouble for Ji min. The love interest Jae Hyun what's not needed. The mini love triangle and the school log.

Also here is not too much or over-the-top b***fighting what I prefer. Those things are outdated and just feel not authentic. Instead here is the, for me personally, a lot worst way to hurt someone and use the might of anonymous on the web. That's a real problem in this drama and also in real life.

Nevertheless, is a great and fun watch with not too many annoying moments and more heart-flutter moments.

Dying for them to release the OST!

A slice of life drama through and through. There were more love triangles than I could keep track of, so it's you're not into that trope, this definitely won't be the drama for you.

I really liked the cinematography and OST. They gave me calm, cheerful spring vibes, which, although this drama is set in autumn/winter, went really well with the overall youthful energy and blooming of first loves.

If you're looking to watch something chill and uncomplicated, I think you'll like this one. And, bonus, there's eye candy for days!

Maple latte anyone?

This is a story about growth and friendship. This show captured the beauty and negatives of youth so well. Each character and relationship had its side the perfection we want to show and the uglyness we try to hid. The bad characteristics of each character and relationship is what i believe makes this show so great because we as people and or relationships always have negtive trait weather or not we are jealous of other or weather their is a lack of trust in the relationship. Because this drama show those negative traits we were able to see the character of over all the great thing about youth, growth. Not only that but each character was well written which abled the audience to understand and either love or hate the character.
The music in this is a pure 10/10, it fit the show so well. The romance was well done and put together and always manged to cause my heart to flutter. The acting was well done, I was surprised at jaehyuns acting skills, he definitely lived up to the part.
Especially in ep 10 at around 33minutes, I could truly appreciate how desprite joo ah was, her fear of losing her best friend, in this scene i think the actress did and amazing job at protraying these emtions.
The dialog couldnt have been better written and there are some qoutes that will sick with me

Friends Turned More, coming of age, fresh angle - one of my new favorites

10/10 is my rating! This is a 2022 South Korean college romance drama series. There are 12, 60 minute episodes. It is also known as love playlist.

I will first provide a synopsis then a review.

Synopsis: The gossip chain is set abuzz when an anonymous confession is posted on the University's forum. Everyone wonders who the "secret admirer" is and who they are enamored with. Ma Joo-ah (Park Hye-su) is majoring in business and interacts with the computer majors a lot because of her long term friend Cha Min-ho (Jeong Jae-hyun) who is a computer major. They have been besties for 12 years but you definitely sense that, Min-ho at least, might want something more. She has never had a relationship but develops her first crush on one of the guys in Min-ho's major and gets him to reluctantly play wing-man. Seo Ji-min (Roh Jenong-eui) is one of Joo-ah's roommates and is one half of the "it" couple on campus. She is beautiful, with many admirers, is completely happy in her relationship and dreams of leading the cheer squad. She is a "justic warrior" and has a talent for standing up to bullies. The third roommate, Hwangbo Young (Woo Da-vi) is a bit older than the others, and has a very cool, no-nonsense approach to dating. Her potential partners either meet her dating expectations or she quickly moves on. With a lot of dating experience, and deep insight, she gives advice to others on dating. Park Ha-Neul (Bae Hyun-sung) is Ji-min's devoted boyfriend and the second half of the campus "it" couple. He is well liked, personable and goal oriented. Gil Mok-jin (Lee Jin-hyuk) is a psychology major who actually struggles to understand the psychology of others. He is a neat freak who has driven other roommates away but finds tolerance and understanding in his current roomies Ha-Neul and Min-ho. These computer, economic, psychology and business majors all come together as roommates, friends, and sometimes more as they navigate toward their future and college life. And they now have a common goal - just who wrote this confession? It's a mystery that intrigues them and binds them together.

Review: This has become one of my new favorites. I am rarely impressed by these shorter series as I often feel they could have used at least the four more episodes that is the "average" length of 16 to fully develop the story. This one was perfect at 12 it had great character development, major plot points were explored and "tied up", and did not feel rushed. When there are multiple romances I often find at least one of them tedious but I liked all of the romances. I am a huge fan of the friend turned more trope and this one went to the very top of that list. I loved the two together. The "villians" in this were also interesting because there was some redeeming for one of them and the other never grew or learned significantly. It is a heart warming story and I found myself rooting for them both in pursuit of their educational and career goals, in their friendships, and in the romantic encounters. The "mystery" around who was writing the letters was also very well executed. Hints were dropped that would lead you to one or the other and I felt like it was surprising when there was the "big reveal." Highly recommend this to anyone that likes coming of age, heart warming romance, compelling friendships, the bully/"mean girl" angle, and the slice of college life you get in this friend group.

a cute and mindless fun drama

it was a very cute drama! i did skip parts with the magnet couple and the pick mes because they were so unbearably annoying. they're also the reason why the rewatch rating is low for me. i cannot do it a second time with them. absolutely not.

the one thing i did love about the drama was the way the main lead, minho, acted. in a lot of dramas the male leads become toxic/abusive towards the female leads. i feel like it's so rare to see a male lead not go batshit crazy and start yelling at the female lead unprovoked. but minho didn't. not once did minho yell at her. he didn't become abusive. there was no pulling and grabbing her. when she walked away from him in the cafeteria when he wanted to talk, he didn't grab her wrist and force her like countless other male leads would. he didn't forcefully put her in uncomfortable situations. he didn't try and sabotage the relationship jooah had with the snake who was two-timing her. he didn't try fighting the two-timer to get jooah's attention. there was no useless male competition between the two. even when he confessed and she rejected him, he said he would back off. he respected her and respected her boundaries. it was such a breath of fresh air to see a male lead like that. i hope we continue to see more male leads like cha minho.

also actor jaehyun!!! pleasantly surprised with his acting. a lot of idols jump into acting and dramas without being able to act at all but jaehyun wasn't terrible. with more practice he will do well.

One of the most best and entertaining college romance!

Dear.M is light, playful, and has enough touches of classic rom-com tropes to retain the viewer's attention. The characters and their respective story lines were easy to follow, despite multiple overlapping connections with the characters' relationships with each other.

A worthy and commendable performance from Jaehyun! It seems as if he was meant to play the role of Cha Min-ho with how well he portrayed Min-ho's easygoing yet caring personality. Among the characters, it's easy to see that Cha Min-ho feels the most relatable to most college students in real life. He worries about scholarships and making sure he keeps up with his academics while navigating friendships and relationships at the same time. Cha Min-ho is oftentimes dorky and kind of a loser (poor guy can't seem to find relationships that last), but it's what makes him all the more charming.

However, what I appreciated the most about Jaehyun's delivery was how he effectively showcased his emotions through even the most subtle of nonverbal cues -- the scoffs, lingering glances, comedic one-liners, and affectionate gestures (mostly towards best friend Ma Jooa-h). It sets the tone of the story further and gives viewers subtle hints as to how he really feels about the important people in his life.

Heart flutters time after time!

This drama is so cute! I know there are a lot of dramas that are in the same settings as this one. However, the story made it unique among them. The drama started as slow for us to get to know the characters since the drama has multiple leads which is understandable and as it should. I never thought that I would be so invested in this drama as I hesitated on watching this.

The plot may be ubiquitous to some people but let's agree on the fact that it was somewhat enjoyable and some uniqueness in it too. I liked that I thought I was 100% sure about my bet on who's the admirer (the one who wrote posts for dear.M) but I was wrong and was astonished. The lead couples have their own stories to tell which was very enjoyable. The episode got more exciting when the episode was done intruding on their bonds as friends and started to show the conflicts to one another.

Their acting was good in my opinion, there are just some scenes of the actors that lacked expressions so I couldn't feel the emotion of the act. Park Hye Soo is just so cute, she really is so immersed in her character. The way she acts is just so pleasant, maybe it's her voice, face, or her acting but all I could say is that she is an awesome actress. Out of all the characters here, she is my favorite because her role here is just so lovable. Jae Jyun is so adorable here with his perfect man role here. He's generous, considerate, well-behaved, caring, and many many more than you can imagine. His acting is good, I would say there be more improvements as he continues his acting era.

As for Roh Jeong Eui (Seo Ji Min), she is so beautiful. Her character here is so pure and loyal to her boyfriend which is what I admire the most in this drama. Her acting is good, but there are just times when her acting is kind of awkward.
Bae Hyun Sung (Park Ha Neul) is just so sweet to her girlfriend. He is the kind of boyfriend that is just reserved and sweet at the same time but will be fierce when someone tries to mess with Seo Ji MIn. I like his loyalty to his girlfriend, his tenacity to stay strong is just immense. However, his acting sometimes is lacking in expression? Maybe it's part of the act as the personality of his role is introverted, maybe that's how it should be acted.

Lee Jin Hyuk (Gil Mok Jin) and Woo Da Vi (Hwang Bo Young) got that slow-burn romance. They are so cute as a couple and I know both of them would be a perfect pair.

There is that one song that got me which is "Something's wrong". I love ballads that's why I took a liking to it and the lyrics reflect the situation of Cha min ho and Ma Jo Ah. I didn't know Park Hye Soo could sing aside from Jae Hyun which is from the popular boy group NCT, her voice is serene and pleasing.

Overall, It's an enjoyable drama to watch. It brings youth vibes that will always bring a fresh feeling to the viewers. I wouldn't say I would rewatch this but all I can say is that it is worth the time.

Fun and light-hearted with a dash of tugging on the heartstrings

If any of you happen to be in a drama slump, this is the perfect one to get you out of it (that's what i did for me). There's the light-heartedness of web dramas, but with a much longer runtime, this show was able to give its multiple main characters and couples the arcs they deserved. I rarely find myself so equally enjoying all of the storylines when there are multiple mains, but in this one I definitely did. All the ships had their own distinct dynamics and storylines, made of characters who also each had glowing personalities and backstories of their own. And I loved the friendships that we were able to get between both trios as well, and even more so when we saw the entire group together.

Even though this is lighthearted, I actually really enjoyed the tidbits of social commentary that we got. Ma Joo-ah dealt with people against economic affirmative action in college admissions, Hwang Bo Young talked about living with diabetes and being judged for it, Min-ho and his sister were great in their family dynamics and showing how fast children have to mature without parents, etc.

In the second half, I did think that some of the plotlines got dragged out (particularly one with a cliche jealous second female lead), but I still really enjoyed the main female lead that was involved in that situation and how strong and confident she was. I just can't stop gushing about the different mains in this drama and how they were able to shine despite the plot being quite cliche.

I would definitely recommend this to people who like college-setting dramas and friends-to-lovers, or honestly anyone who just wants something light-hearted to watch.
