I don’t even know where to begin with this review but what a ride this has been…
Let’s start with the negatives first one of which was Kul…..It pains me to say this as I am a frequent visitor of Bua’s lakorns but this is honestly the first time I’ve ever been disappointed in one of her work. It’s not her fault at all but for someone whose supposedly a Main Character, she was given scenes like she was in a Supporting Role. She played her part perfectly fine but Kul was one of those “alright, let’s bring in the girlfriend for a few scenes here and there” characters which makes me sad because she’s a good actress and I feel the writers let her down.
I came for the Body Swap as well as Krating but to my dismay, I liked Namtarn and Alek scenes even more - partly due to the fact that Krating’s character post swap, Wat was somewhat of a trigger for me, one who gave me a bit of a headache at times but I was still able to enjoy his acting. There is an Attempted Assault which is supposedly “the norm” in lakorns but as I was aware of it due to the trailer, I was able to skip such scenes but unfortunately the people behind the scenes love this little thing called flashbacks so I was quite annoyed by this. Because of this, I am not accepting of Wat and Kul pairing but I do appreciate his Character Development and background.
Story had many twists and turns which I guessed some but not all.
Romance between Tet and Ginny were really nice and they provided some comedy which I really appreciated in between all the endless danger. I didn’t know until this lakorn that Alek and Namtarn were a pairing that I needed, they were such a pleasure to watch. I think they were possibly the most selfless characters I’ve ever watched in the 4 years I’ve been watching lakorns.
Acting all round was really good, I think it was a team effort and they worked really well together but Alek really impressed me. Some scenes were rather difficult to watch without crying which honestly doesn’t happen a lot when I watch Lakorns but this one just hit a sore spot for me. There are some inconsistencies and logical stuff like when Tet and Ginny claimed to have no more money but they were still able to drive their car everywhere lol, bad casting “high school” flashback of Tet’s parents etc. Probably best to just ignore stuff like that to get full enjoyment.
Music - whether dramatic or soft - were quite fitting. No romantic music during assaults like they usually do.
Overall, I truly enjoyed this lakorn. I can easily say it’s my second fave lakorn of 2021 which probably isn’t saying much cos this year has been really bad but you still get to see some really nice ones along the way. I would recommend this if you like Body Swap plots, lead’s who do whatever to help and protect each other, no damsels in distress.

A soulful & powerful drama. Just beautiful.
Let's talk about the casts with their characters first.- Namtarn successfully played Ginney, a compilation of annoying yet adorable character lol. Lazy, hotheaded, talkative, complains, loud, aggressive. But her sincerity & pure heart wins my heart. One of the most memorable moment is when she has another chance for job, & a huge one, & when Fiat tells her it'll be on the night of the blood moon, she's that excited! Excited to help Tet to switch back, instead of accepting the job!! This short scene is just WOW, shows us how selfless she is. Anyway, i won't forget her style of sleeping, eating, & going upstairs. It's faaaar away from being an elegant lady, but it's really Ginney's style! So natural, lol.
- Alek successfully played Wat & Tet. Seeing Alek as Wat is really disgusting, but when he becomes Tet, it's like the beast turns into a charming prince, a prince that lives a helly life. Yes, his frustrated expressions are just wow. I also like his way of crying. One of the best moment of him is when Ginney is at hospital after shot. How he's upset that much to Wat, and worried that much to the point he cried silently, his emotions stand out! Alek did an excellent job for this.
- Also great job for Krating. A handsome, charming, calm Tet turns into wild Wat, the only bastard among all. But.. Surprisingly there are some things i like about him. His way to confront K'Thanapob & Dr Sunai with harsh words (but right to the point) & gestures is so effective that it's able to 'wake them up' from their wrongdoings. Also his gradual changes to be a better guy. When he's growling, deep down inside he doesn't like something but he realizes he HAS TO DO that for the sake of others. Here he learns a lot about thinking of other people. Another thing, all this time Kul (who used to think him as Tet) take a really good care of him. And when Ginney's at hospital, he finally realizes about what Ginney & Tet do to each other. That's love. He learns about love and sincerity from Kul, Ginney, Tet.
- Bua is perfect to play Kul, a woman with strong will, principal, smart, calm. I agree that her way in rejecting Tet's proposal is too straightforward in front of many people, but i also agree with her saying 'love isn't enough'. Yes, in reality, to make a relationship lasts long, it doesn't need love alone, it also needs trust, commitment, communication, etc. I also love her way in treating Wat, firm, fierce in elegant way, lol. But this effectively makes Wat obey her in EVERYTHING.
Now let's talk about love stories among them, i like it all, except for Ginney-Wat of course, he's just ungrateful for everything she did. Seeing them is stressful, hopeless, like no bright future for them.
- Ginney-Tet. I already loved them since the beginning when Tet's still cold. It's just funny seeing her being aggressive towards him & he looks shocked, awkward. Also when she's lazy to do everything and he's strict to her to do everything instead, lol. The development of their feelings are that natural, flowy. The chemistry of them whether in lovey dovey scenes, funny, or bickering ones works very very well!!! I also love how they fulfill the needs of each other naturally. I'm melted watching the last eps when Tet smiles that brightly to Ginney. He's that happy with her. OMG, every scene of them gives me goosebumps. Hats off for Alek-Namtarn. Oh, also, my most fav kissing scene of them: when they're rehearsing the drama & when she gives cake to him. It's that emotional & deep.
- Tet-Kul. Although they're separated in the end, i love how they end it realistically. It's not simply bcoz of Ginney. But started from Ginney, Kul gradually rethinks about her relationship with Tet, rethinks about how other people see Tet-Kul as couple. Tet learns about it either. I also like how Wat sees Tet-Kul relationship, that they're too similar, so no one will give in.
- Kul-Wat. They started it bad, Wat has deceived Kul at first, but after some of agreement between them, Kul can see & feel that Wat can do certain things that Tet can't do: listen to her for everything, not to force her or manage her life. Combined with her knowing him living a pity past & seeing him gradually change to be better, Kul finally feels sure that Wat is the right one for him. She hasn't loved him deeply yet, but she's sure she will. From this, we can see that when she meets someone that's right for her, although just for months, although not deeply in love yet, she'll be ready to live the rest of her life with him.
Overall, love the whole storyline, great! The body swap doesn't stand alone, but it leads us to other conflicts: family, birth secret, love life, drugs, etc. Yet this body swap is also destined to solve all those problems. All are connected, well written.
Also love the ending. Some people might think it's a bit draggy. But i'm glad they make everyone comes to an understanding. Everything is clear between Ginney-Kul, Kul-Tet, Thanapob-Wat-Tet, Sunai-Wat-Tet, Thitiya-Sunai, Thitiya-Wat-Tet. It's a happy ending for everyone.
Thanks for the production team for making such great lakorn. The cast itself is already great! Plus they explore the emotion of every character, combined with good lighting, atmosphere, backsound, deep dialogues. They make emotional scenes more energetic, but in elegant way, not too much as i've seen in a melodrama.
About switching body back or not, it can be realistic for both decision. And i agree with their mom. Intendedly crashing towards each other doesn't guarantee they'll back to their bodies. It can lead them to death instead. Just accept the fate. However, i'm wondering if they switch back, curious to see Krating with Namtarn. But actually their chemistry is also good as Ginney&Wat when fighting each other, lol.
However there are some questions for me, but other reviews & comments have already told it. And i don't really mind.
Oh, special credit for the wedding video&photo. I didn't think they'd put it after the last scene. Seriously, it looks REAL, like seeing Alek-Namtarn & Krating-Bua's marriage. Watching them talking in that video is just like they're talking in real life.

Is it too early to write a review for this lakorn. I think the heck not, Listen I've been reviewing a heck load of dramas which are ongoing, it's never too early to write a review of what is the best lakorn that came out in 2021 so far. 2021 has not been the best year for lakorns, I admit or for Channel 3, the MVP of lakorns. This lakorn though, has beat everything for me that I have seen so far in lakorn land. Buckle up for this long review about the lakorn I loved, is it in one of my favorites? Holy crap it is.Now for my own quote about this drama (so you can see how well I love it)

The Story Line

This is a unique storyline and something new for me, at least in lakorn land. I've seen body swap dramas who hasn't? But it's about two men with two lovers, and not the male lead and female lead, oh damn that sounds pretty interesting. I admit, that I've had my eye on this lakorn long before it even aired, and when I found it was airing I was happy. The storyline, the original plot is a unique and interesting tempting plotline and the script did not ruin it. Without a strong hold and grasping pace, of a script this could have been boring but I love how the writers deemed to make this lakorn to be. I've yet to see character development but Krating's character was developed and I can see why he is that way, and what the dark side to this lakorn is, with a deeper acknowledgement that a psychologist could find his charecter has a lot of layers and figure them out, Sadly I skipped out my psychology classes so your stuck to watching this lakorn to find out how he is character is, but it's not a sad thing buddy. The script+ plotline made me give it a 10 despite having a few clichés here and there but would it have been nearly as fun without those clichés, I don't think so, which means I'm not biased nor a non homo simp (support lgbtq+ just straight) for Namtarn and a simp for Alek, okay that last part is true but I'm not biased trust me.
The Acting + Chemistry (Holy crap! Have I found my new OTP for this year, my PFP tells me Yes)

Am I sad? NO, N to the O, ah my favorite word! The cast did give me what I was looking for and more because my expectations were thrown in the trash because they were too low, (I had high expectations from the start before this lakorn even aired) because the cast really said you expectations were a chocolate cake, too low let me throw that in the trash, and whip up a new double layered, top tiered, millionaire dollar wedding cake. So it went from high to that's not high enough because we made a better thing that what your bird brain could even have expected. Now, I wasn't a fan of Alek nor Namtarn, and I've recently got into Krating due to Praomook, and Bua I like her with Pon, but after watching this I am a fan of Alek and Namtarn, and I do simp for them. Seriously can we talk about how Alek looks so damn handsome in here? Like a Disney prince. Oops sorry got off of track there for a second, but seriously...Okay okay.
The chemistry deserves another section, lowkey made I couldn't have a rating button for chemistry on this lakorn because if there was I would have rated it a 100000000000000000000000000/10. My PFP is the living existence for this. I LOVE the chemistry between Alek and Namtarn, they are the cutest couple I've seen all year (Cheng Cheng and Wen Rang Come Close Sorry!). Alex and Namtarn having this fitting aura to them, so when they come together, it's a bomb blast baby. I don't mean the ones that a kid pops, these are fireworks that a person just made when they want to propose to their significant other, those are the types of fireworks of chemistry they brought. so help me for god's sake when I say Alek and Namtarn have chemistry, they have damn amazing chemistry. I need another Alek and Namtarn lakorn in real life, if they aren't going to date in real life (Namtarn has as bf, She deserves a bf LOL). Right now the lakorn is a bit confusing and it's hard to figure out the endings of this lakorn (Episode 10) but if Alek and Namtarn don't end up at the end, I'm cutting my hair and going bald it's serious.
Okay enough enough about simping about Alek and Namtarn.
Our baby Krating deserves me to simp about him now.
Krating, what can I say Krating. Oh my god, this man acts amazingly well in this lakorn. For his main primetime lakorn with a first leading role in a primetime lakorn. Krating blew the acting out of the word acting, he did amazingly well with his character, it doesn't help that Krating absolutely 100 percent suits the role of a bad boy, and he's good looking (No can say deny, Good looking and amazingly handsome is a understatement for this guy). For his character though, Bad boy is definitely a understatement his character has layers and is possibly the most well written annoying guy character I've come across in lakorn land, and I can see the writers definitely took time for thinking about his character, and I bet you that did not regret making this character well written because Krating acts out the character if not better than how it is written. If you want to see his acting, watch this lakorn my word's cannot say any justice or give any justice to his acting. Trust me, you won't regret.
Woah, Long Review. I'll have to say bye with the music and rewatch value, I'm sad!

It suits the lakorn and it goes along with the lakorn well. I liked it, maybe people might have another opinion but I liked the title track and if it's good enough for me to listen to it on Youtube, you know it's not a bad OST. Then again, I have been liking Channel 3 lakorn OST's recently, listen and watch the lakorn to know. I loved this lakorn, I've been saying it in the comments (major spoilers there), and I've been saying it everywhere so you know what my rewatch value is for this lakorn, a 10/10, could I rate it 11/10 because I'm extra. Oh no MDL doesn't let you rate it like that. T-T.

I really have been sleeping on Alek and Namtarn acting capabilities. And let me tell you, their chemistry was phenomenal. I didn't expect a lot as I don't care too much for all the leads in this lakorn. However, I really appreciate how much characters development we can see throughout each episode. We have Jinny and Wat who are together not simply because they loved each other but because in a way they were abandoned. Two very lost soul who never received love from anyone. Then we have Tet and Kul who appears to be deeply in love but they tend to clash with each other, very independent individual who are career driven.
To see how Jinny and Wat (Tet) character evolved and falling in love with each other throughout the process feel very natural. The love she felt with Tet was for once real, the feelings and emotions. I was hoping there would be more relationship development between Kul and Wat in the beginning. I wish Wat character would of fall in love with Kul earlier on but the last few episode made up for it. I love how Kul loving personality had changed Wat to a better man.
I absolutely love this lakorn. It really made you realize that love is not about how long you been with someone. Love is a little bit of everything,compatibility, support, understanding and the list go on.

It described two types of a relationship: Too perfect and too toxic for each other
Body swap drama that featured so relatable life lessons ?Tet and gul: TOO PERFECT
Both of them are career driven, smart, workaholic who want their life to be in their way to the point it becomes controlling. They sound good for each other on paper but their love life is never balance. They don't want a break up because deep down they are afraid no one is going to be a perfect match for them.
Wat and Jinny: TOO TOXIC
Wat is a piece of shit to Jinny. Jinny is a good person but no one guides her to choose the right path. They brought each other down. They don't want to break up because being afraid that no one is going to commit with them.
Then we found the right match, switch everyone!
Tet and Jinny: She needs someone who can protect her, he needs someone who will commit with him for the rest of his life.
Wat and Gul: She needs someone who she will comfortable being with, let her be herself and he needs someone who can guide him to the right path and makes him more humanized.
It's perfect! 10/10

Which team are you? Jinny and Tej or Kul and Wat?
What a phenomenal drama this was! Definitely one of my favorites of 2021! This was so refreshing to watch and I can say this Thai lakorn had all the elements I usually look for in a drama, a birth mystery, illegal drug trafficking case, and most of all, romance and comedic moments with the cutest, not your typical, couples !What I loved about this drama:
- Tej (Of course in Alek’s body) and Jinny! I loved this pair so much because their characters matched so well together. Chemistry between these two were on flames! I love, love, love my sassy, fierce, cute, seductive Jinny! She’s not your typical Nang’ek you see in typical Thai lakorns, but she was so selfless, and loved who she loved more than the words can describe. With her being paired with the preserved, kind, smart Tej was just magic. These two are definitely one of my favorite on-screen couples and I really want to see them in another lakorn, SOON!
- Bua and Krating! Another couple I enjoyed, but unfortunately, didn’t win my heart as Jinny and Tej lol, perhaps because I’m too biased towards Alek and Pichukkana. Also, Wat in Krating’s body was just not a guy you would root for. He was just an asshole throughout half of the drama. Also, their love story just was not buyable to me. Can you imagine Kul falling for a messed up jerk like Wat? Like that fast? Especially when she rejected Tej. That man is every girls dream!
- Aside from these cute romance plots, the storyline was well written, directed from beginning to end and was not predictable at all. Most of the episodes had a surprise, jaw dropping moment that kept you binge watch to find how everything unravels. I liked how the plot revolved around multiple elements, the drug case, switching bodies, the whole dilemma with Tej’s parents love life. I think that’s why I was never bored of this drama.
- The ending! Like I said, it was not predictable. In a supernatural genre drama like this, you picture several ways how it could have ended, and I’m so glad they chose the ending they did. Every mystery was solved, every question was answered, the evil minded people faced their own karma, and forgiven. Most of all, we got a happy ending for both couples! If you watched the drama, you know who ends up with who and in whose body haha, so with how things ended, I’m fully satisfied! #Teamyouknowwho
I genuinely do not have any dislikes for this drama. One thing I do think they could have included in the drama is to show how the couples lives can go on after how things ended, like especially career wise. I still don’t know how it could have worked out, unless they start all over again lol.
Overall, this was such an incredible drama. I loved the cast and their acting (on point), loved the music, loved everything about this drama.
So thank you Switch of Fate Team for creating such a beautiful, heart warming drama for us viewers. Last but not least, thank you NekoMeowMeow and the other official subbers for providing the English subtitles.

Not your typical lakorn - maybe a good fit for those find lakorns a bit strange
Lakorns have a certain unique flavour. For those of us who have watched a few, we expect certain elements -- over the top dramatic, silly, a bit flaky and at times really cheesy. Not that these are bad things but they are absurdly entertaining when done right. We don't typically sit and watch lakorn for deep characters or writing (or at least I don't! LOL). There will be random screamer characters whose sole job is to take up space and fill up time so that the lakorn is 1.5 hours. Usually these are the servant or side characters. There will be scowling bushy-eyed characters whose sole job is to huff and puff and create havoc on the main leads. They might throw in a few slaps and maybe some juice or water around. There will be random kisses and falls leading to kisses just cause the director needs to fulfill the romance quotient for the audience. Then randomly, the characters will take a field trip to rural Thailand somewhere in a forest where the main leads will dress in traditional clothes and live in rustic environment just ..... cause? hahhahahah... you get the picture right? We are used to seeing such tropes that it took me aback to not find any of these typical elements in this lakorn LOL.Overall impressions -- What is different? The plot itself was a bit different. When I read soul swap, I usually think of comedy dramas. Here, the writer has chosen for a very different approach. It really explored the confusion, hurt and turmoil that such an event would cause in not only the two guys but those around them. So the feel of the drama is consistently melodramatic. If you had to sum up the drama, it would be this piece of dialogue that stood out to me -- "Do you think you can take someone else's life just because you are unhappy with yours? Is it a good idea to waste your life just because you weren't loved? You get to decide where your life takes you, not other people... "
Pluses -- The writing and pacing is top notch. The twists and turns keep coming and the audience gets taken for a ride just as the characters. None of them act so stupid that you want to slap them through the screen. Instead, the characters act as per their growth and sketch. At times, the writing was really honest and meaningful where the characters are open about the havoc this event has caused. The acting was excellent and not a single actor did a bad job. Even the side characters and villains who I normally side eye brought their A game to the emotional scenes.
Background music was fantastic and they fitted the mood and brought out the emotions more. . Lighting was absolutely superb and I loved the director use of natural sunlight. Everything looked so beautiful during the day. The sets were amazing. They chose really beautiful properties to film in and the decors were great.
Minuses -- While the music was great, I thought editing of the music could have been better. There were certain abrupt transitions. The ending! So I didn't hate the ending but I didn't love it either. I like it but practical part of me was like "okaaaaaay... how will this work out? I don't get it." But that didn't take away from the feeling that I liked the lakorn overall and had fun watching it.

This won me over despite my aversion to both the plot and the cast
Okay, I was not especially looking forward to this one. Bua Nalinthip's previous roles were all in lakorns I DROPPED. I don't like Alek Teeradetch. Krating Khunnarong is not really my type, either. But mostly because I glanced at the synopsis which mentioned exchanged bodies, meaning exchanged souls, meanimg exchanged characters, in fact. That is not a (romantic) story I should enjoy (if there is confusion about who is actually having romance with whom, then I don't find it really romantic).First, there are scenes with Bua Nalinthip. She portrays doctor, seriously dating a pilot. Just to see her with someone else than Pon Nawasch IS a plus, but only till you take a closer look on this guy who also isn't very compatible with her either, AND (like Pon Nawasch) is younger than her. In episode 1 their relationship is not working, they might be close to a break-up. I know! After the soul exchange, the new "guy inside" would work better with her. Wow, what an "happy end"... as I currently watched also 2018 'Nakark Kaew', I was annoyed with this kind of "romance"... But I was in for a completely different ride, this time.
But first, I watched early scenes with Alek Teeradetch (I prefer Ken Theeradeth, lol), whose character is an actor and a "bad boy" (first we see him in bed scene, but I don't find him attractive) because he sleeps with girls on the set and does drugs and falls asleep during filming. Then tells everyone that HE doesn't need to care. I don't think that's how a really bad and wild guy looks like, that's how stupid guy looks like. Moving on to Namtarn Pichukkana's runway model, stealing clothes from her own fashion show. They probably date each other (though not exclusively, at least from the guy's side) because they are similar. So, after the body swap, this girl shall receive more intelligent guy if nothing else? Obviously this guy will have massive trouble to be a plane pilot after exchanging. Shall he kill his passangers?
So, first couple are both capable professionals. Second couple shares more frivolous an occupation & personality. I wasn't really looking forward to the change, it seemed to me these people deserved each other as they were. Also it suited me the actor I don't like portrayed the unlikeable character. I felt bad for the pilot waking up in the actor's body, having to answer for his stupid deeds like drugs & money stolen from someone who shoots first and asks later, all the while receiving an earful from his mega stupid girlfriend. What wrong did he do? The other guy doesn't wake up. But when the pilot receives a punch to his new actor's body, even the pilot's body starts bleeding. Which is even more stupid. I seriously wondered why lakorn scriptwriters keep coming up with such cr*p instead of simple good relationship drama...
At least when the decent guy was stuck inside the douchebag's body, and his girlfriend acted how she was used to with him, he was all shy and that was funny:) The other couple didn't interact yet, but I'd expect it would be the same only reversed. Each new "couple" dynamics should get stirred by each of them receiving a partner way more wild/stuck-up than they were used to, and it should bring fun and intrigue into their interactions...
But, then the actor wakes up in the pilot's body. The pilot's girlfriend (the doctor) is all over him, emotional and tearful... While he obviously just finds her hot:) After he remembers everything, he realizes he needs to hide: and where hide better than in someone else's body? So he just sits back and enjoys everything the pilot's got in life. It's emphasized the guy doesn't have much coinscience and also he is kind of, let's say... primitive. So is the girl (the model) by the way. So, both the (new) counterparts are in shock from their behavior:)
Plus, as if the supernatural element was not stupid enough, there's yet another shocking surprise waiting in both actor's and pilot's family home: their father. The pilot's father who seems well situated is actually boss of the underworld kingpin who is looking for the missing drugs, while the actor's father hates his son so much he tried to kill him twice already. The actor left his home (and his education) in 9th grade. Yeah, that might explain A BIT the kind of personality he had... There's yet another connection between the two (seemingly completely strange) families, where we face the classic "who is actually whose son" plot, because obviously this story was STILL not over-embellished enough.
Also, watching more of Krating Khunnarong, I like him even less than Alek Teeradetch and that's something. And with such stupid material, it would really help if there was at least some eye candy. No such luck... Then, why I kept watching? Perhaps it was the scenes where the right guy in the wrong body was desperately trying to make up with his (untrusting) girlfriend. Or scenes where the guy could not help but feel moved by the actions of (not truly) his girlfriend. Namtarn Pichukkana did a good job (this is 1st lakorn I praise her for, and I've watched her in 3 others already) portraying the simple girl: as coarse and lazy as she was, there was something endearing about her dynamics with the guy, she was truly thankful for any show of affection from him... Also, she appreciated his cooking skills a lot:) One could tell he was not completely immune to her compliments, though he was still reserved, but it was so cute:) If was funny that both the original couple people were wery prudent, while the other ones were like super horny:) The character switching made quite a stir. Though, it was getting quite clear that there was hardly any romance expected for the actor character, he was not sincere to neither his old, nor "new" girlfirend. Perhaps he was not capable of it.
So, if all the stuff I called "stupid cr*p" was there to serve as a base for having the endearing Alek & Namtarn scenes, I say it was worth it. Not so much for scenes of Bua & Krating, there were morelike scary, as the guy was practically sociopathic, not caring about feelings of anyone in the family he covertly slipped into. While I sometimes laughed loud during the scenes of one of the switched couples, I felt creepy watching those of the other. I could relate to one of the switched guys both feeling moved towards the other guy's girlfiend, and being scared for his own girlfriend. So basically both the relationship lines worth watching were the ones involving the character (soul) of the pilot.
We don't abandon the other guy's character background and further development, though. Even "bad guy"'s behavior always has some reason. At least here the scriptwriters did not betray the audience and tried to provide more than just the lakorn usual "action - loud yelling - action" shallow stuff to fill the episodes up. So, even the actor's character wises up and attempts to make something better of himself. Perhaps he saw something in "his" new girlfriend that inspired it. Despite the 31 year old Bua Nalinthip looking kinda ridiculous as a maiden saving herself for marriage, lol. If at least her character can make the actor be sincere to someone, then their line might start being worth watching.
Both guys' story actually has the parallel in learning to work patiently with others.
Aom Piyada Akaraseni has a funny cameo as "herself", a lakorn producer. Well, that's who she is today, lol. She is present on a set, where the "new actor" comes into. He promised "his" new girlfriend he'll do anything to get them out of their miserable situation, therefore he needs to take upon the acting job, now. He's to shoot an erotic scene on 1st day:) It's a treat to watch the shy pilot's soul in the body of the actor, who was - by now notorious for unprofessional behavior - obviously hired for the small role just for his looks. I enjoyed watching... To be fair, I'm sure you noticed during my review's progress I stopped complaining about Alek Teeradetch:) True I never liked him before, but here he redeemed himself in this role and after watching a lot of Krating Khunnarong, Alek suddenly started to look good to me, he was certainly the most attractive guy in this lakorn, lol. Or, maybe it still was 45-year old Chai Chatayodom?:)
While the poor pilot is struggling with the acting job, the actor keeps lazying around (one would wish that HE would sweat, too... but then, he would probably crash any plane he would try to pilot, so let's not wish that). Anyways, trying to be a nice guy for the first time, he's got couple of cute scenes, too. Portrayed by Krating Khunnarong, awkward with Bua Nalinthip one head shorter & six years older than him, I didn't enjoy those like Alek & Namtarn scenes, though (those were really able to make me smile & laugh).
Pilot also has his childhood friend, to whom he confides that he switched bodies with someone. As the only person, he starts to believe him a bit. I liked this small bromance line tremendously and would have wished there was more of it.
So, with all these long previous paragraphs (wow), I only described why by episode 7, I was finally settled in and tuned into this series and started enjoying it. What I liked were the life lessons both the main guys received while being forced to live the life of somebody else. Even the guy who was a good person and didn't need much atonement, still he was used to some comforts in his well situated family and position. He needed to learn to survive without those. He discovered strength and loyalty in people he would before deemed unworthy (even I as an audience would deemed them so at first glance). Together with the childhood friend line and Alek & Namtarn chemistry I found enough good qualities in this lakorn to make it a decent watch... But! It had to end that soon? Instead of the childhood friend (as I hoped) it's the actor's girlfriend who, in episode 7 out 16, already learns the truth. And asks herself a question: "Who am I in love with?" LOL that's precisely what I asked at the end of my very first paragraph.
Her first reaction is to ask him to leave as she can't live with a complete stranger. But then she realizes her mistake and goes searching for him. I agreed: they HAVE already lived together and that itself proven this man was decent. Because when he was in her boyfriend's body he could allow himself to do anything with her but didn't, so if there was one thing she could be sure of, it was she was absolutely safe with him. It's clear she was actually in love with the new man inside, BUT he looked like her old lover. Would they work even if they switched bodies back? The old lover never cared for her this way, the new one had another girlfriend. So, either way she was heartbroken. And what is absolutely disarming about Namtarn's character is that she confesses all this to him, that she cries... I RARELY cry watching lakorns but this got me. Kudos to Namtarn.
Meanwhile, the thugs working as underlings for the drug lord come to harrass the characters every now and then, which was only an annoyance because I don't think "action scenes" were that important for this story. Episode 8 was first I enjoyed fake pilot & pilot's girlfriend scene. Because no matter the cast, it was intriguing to watch to which level would (not) the animal-like guy be able to feel truly sorry or touched by someone pure. She hugs him without any kiss or sexual hints, just to comfort him and we can clearly see that's a first he experienced such thing. It's definitely an asset that we can watch a simple dialogue and hug scene and be thrilled hundred times more than in usual lakorn. Namtarn & Alek are precious too, one almost wishes the pilot would not have such an integrity and would go for the actor's girlfriend. I have never thought there would come a time I'll find Alek Teeradetch cute but here it is, lol. Both him and Namtarn:)
Seriously, it's so cute both the guys needed either to smile more or be more serious in order to get closer with the switched girlfriends. When they tried to switch their bodies back, I believe the audience no longer wished them to succeed. I didn't. So, that got postponed and instead we had to deal with the fact that both the guys had totally psycho dad. Which WAS the most kitchy thing in this series, lol. Because no matter what, I found the body-switching occuring at every red moon STILL more credible than corny villain drug lords mixed with upper class middle-aged scorned lovers drawing their gun every time their bloodpressure went up. I say, next time writing a lakorn like this, suffice with the fantasy element and do give up on any crime themes once and for good. Less is more and enough is enough.
Crime does not belong in good lakorn, it was the truth 21 years ago and it's the truth today.
Still, the two guys staying switched while dealing with their deranged fathers brought something more interesting into this theme than usual. I admit that watching the "bad boy" dealing with the "good boy"'s scumbag dad was very satisfying. It was one thing he could do well - or better - in his stead. So, even this rough character was finally finding good use:) Amarin Nitibhon was an excellent pick for the role (I still remember him as a serial killer from 'Tunnel'). I also liked theme of parent-child love emphasized just as much as the lovers love. Also surprisingly, I did enjoy when both girlfriends knew the truth already. It was still very engaging a watch. I even started to root for the actor to redeem himself a tiny bit:) There's so much improvement in the characters just because they were given the right partner, so much I can now eat my earlier words that the couples were better off how they originally were. No. Each of their personalities actually benefited from the other, fullfilled exactly where the other was lacking and vice versa. Everyone learned to deeply appreciate something, be it friendship, hard work, family, or trust. In short, I really rooted for the CHARACTERS. No matter the body.
With all the main characters already knowing about the switch, next they were trying to uncover the birth secret, which I was not curious about AT ALL (yeah, classic lakorn plot:) and scenes with the stupid "drug cartel" were getting very repetitive. I watched on for the relationships development only. That did not disappoint me and I enjoyed all the new nouances in character's feelings tremendously. It was great each time there was a direct confrontation with the people involved talking things out, not waiting around for several episodes to drag it. No, this show was packed. And what could not be conveyed through words, even someone's facial expression was enough to deliver. What we could see now in the eyes of the characters was something that definitely was not there at the beginning of the series. The cast did really their best. Though it was certainly not smarter than others, still I found this very good for a lakorn, because it was so dramatically and romantically enjoyable. Even if I did wish it layed off a little with the crime line. Less is more, there was enough good in this show.
But I gotta admit that this lakorn made even with the corny crime line plus birth secret line an enjoyable enough "action climax". Everything was part of the journey for these characters. This was multiple mirror story not only of switched bodies, also of a switched fathers who mirrored each other, too (one evil at his "work life" but a loving parent, the other decent in professional life but an evil parent). The emotional rollercoaster offered here really was complex (well, you can see for yourselves how long my review got:) The more sensitive and decent of the guys was the one brought up by loving father, even if otherwise a cruel criminal. Irony? I don't think so. This is what I liked about this lakorn. This wasn't the usual loud-conflict-making-no-sense sh*t. It actually made sense on the emotional level and that's why the audience is able to connect even with such a crazy story as this one. The only mildly ridiculous thing was both fathers being so bothered when finding about the body swap. They have learned their biological sons were switched anyways.
I appreaciated the last episode... I won't say any more: you watch it.
I rate this high IN CONTEXT with thai lakorns. I did watch hell enough of them to be able to compare:)

Very slow development, all the good bits in the latter episodes
Believe the reviewer who said first half of this show is draggy. I must be one of the few handfuls who felt badly let down after the number of enthusiastic reviews. It is a pity because the storyline was interesting while the acting from the two male leads was good.My main issue is that none of the characters were emotionally engaged enough with each partner, or the audience until very late in the series (after Ep13 for me). I blame the scriptwriters for this unbalanced emotional development and depth. So bad that I FF'ed at high speed until Ep 11 (seriously wanted to drop it). As many reviewers have mentioned, the FL Jinny is indeed the character who was the most emotionally available AND STILL I found her to be loud and annoying until after Ep 7 when she cried ( after this episode she gradually stopped yelling like an auntie vegetable seller from the market).
The 2nd FL by actress Bua was an unengaging character for the bulk of the show - she wasn't hateful but she wasn't particularly relatable/appealing either, even after the emotional events in Ep13 (Ep13 did more for the flawed 2nd ML than for her tbh). I can sympathise with her situation rationally but not emotionally. You have to wait until the last couple of episodes to feel something for the 2nd FL. Again this was how her character was written.
Only 7.5/10 for me. A pity because this show could have easily done better to reach a 8.5 or 9. Watch if you are a fan of the main leads or don't mind a VERY slow "start". P.S/ If there is any consolation, the last few episodes were great and the ending, for once in a lakorn, is not rushed and properly fleshed out.

Overall a fun watch
This is actually my first review on this site ever just because of how much I enjoyed the lakorn overall.I started mainly for Bua and Krating, saw her on Tra Barb See Chompoo and became an instant fan. My first encounter with Krating was Praomook, just loved his swagger on that show but the show itself wasn't great but that's a topic for a different review.
So overall this was a really good show, I think what I mostly enjoyed was the chemistry the whole cast had as a whole from the main cast to the supporting cast, the acting and chemistry was just on point. I even got to admire the talents of Alek and Namtarn who I've never heard of before but I really enjoyed their chemistry and interactions. Krating in this was so great he played the broken bad boy character to a tee. Can't wait to see what they all do next.
So here are my negatives, I felt like both the main female leads were mainly there as plot points and existed solely for the male leads, yes even Ginney who I thought was adorable. But all her storylines was mainly focused on Wat before the switch and Tet after, everything she did was solely to help him. Yeah it shows how selfless and a good person she is but outside of being with Tet and helping Tet, who was Ginney as a person? We know she's a model and that's it. They had hints of some of her family life focus in the earlier episodes but outside of one or two mentions, the family storyline was dropped. Same with Kul, Bua is a great actress when she's given the material to work with i.e the episode where she finds out that Tet loves Ginney and the episode where she breaks up with him. But she wasn't really given a lot to work with outside of those little plot lines. I felt like at least with Kul we were about to diverge a little out of the love interest cliche there, she had her career focus, the plot line about finding out who actually murdered her dad and bringing him to justice, wanting to get a PhD etc those were all good but as stated previously very little to work with compared to the ML (s)
Now the love stories, here I felt like the Ginney and Tet storyline was better developed than Wat and Kul if I'm being honest and that really comes down to the period of time between when Ginney found out the truth vs when Kul did because if they had happened at the same time they would have been more development between Wat and Kul. But when it comes down to chemistry I thought they were both great but I think ended up liking Krating and Bua's chemistry better because it felt more sexual and hot as opposed to Tet and Ginney which was more romantic and sweet so I think it really comes down to what type of energy the individual prefers.
I see some people harping on Kul for the way she treated Tet but what I'll say is that I think deep down Kul always knew Tet wasn't right for her but I think her fear of not wanting to be alone especially considering she lost her dad, and her mother moved away after getting re married ,so I think she felt attached to Tet because he had a family and was someone she thought would be there for her and that fear didn't give her the courage to break up with him when she probably knew they just weren't compatible for each other. Also in addition to the fear of being alone, they both had opposing life plans, Tet wanted to get his license and settle down, Kul wanted to go to school get her PhD before settling down so a lot of miscommunication and just wanting different things in life should have made them see that they just weren't compatible.
I loved the ending and was happy that everyone got their happy ending, was I sad that they didn't switch back? A huge nope because their bodies with different people as love interests after investing in the chemistry with a different body would have just been totally weird and disconcerting to watch so yay for not doing that.

1.1 If I say I have no money, means I can't even affort to ride bus. Let alone to drive around or ride a taxi. As per my visit to Thai (south, n I frequently went there b4 covid), taxi fare rate isn't that low.1.2 If I say I have no money, spaghetti would only appear in my dream. Yes, the noodles is way cheaper than ramen, but we can't eat spaghetti without the sauce, or atleast sausage. But theirs even had name n so colourful with greens n meats.
1.3 Never had scene (at least for a sec) washing clothes, or hanging them anywhere.
1.4 If I know a guy who is good at cooking and have no job, I'd suggest him to turn the talent into a business. Jinny can sell those dishes at the acting site.
2.1 Atleast please use younger actors for younger Ya, Thanapop n Sunai. It is painful to see veteran actors to act as college students.
3.1 I love the ending very much! It is so sweet to see Ya, Nai n Pop welcoming their new son, either one. For me, this is what I call a happy ending. Not just a wedding scene for the main roles.
