Both movies left a lasting impact on me. I experienced an equal measure of joy and sorrow from both. Nevertheless, I am happy that I watched them both.

Tearjerkers.

Both are short dramas about high school life, based on popular keitai (cellphone) novels. Both have an incredible emphasis on emotion, relationships and the "tough issues" teens face (sex, drugs, mental illness, etc).

Boku no Ita Jikan and Sky of Love (Koizora) both show how one of the character's illness affects their relationship.

A bit similar love & heartbreak story. The FL knew that she was very ill & doesn't want to spend time alone with her sickness. When she met the ML who help her, she ask the ML to become her fake lover & she will pay them. As the process they slowly fall in love. This movie is based on Nakashima Mika song "Yuki no Hana". If you like bitter sweet romance genre I recommend to watch it.

the drama is similar in action. The FL fights a deadly illness in which she knows true love.

Sky of Love unfortunately ends with death while in One in a Hundred Thousand the FL survives.

The plot is almost the same you can feel the character better. Here FL and ML fall in love in their teens in school life but later Fl loses her memories

similar cancer storyline where both the ML had cancer. Both a re tear-jackers too and will have you weeping at some point. However, the filipino movie has a happy ending but the japanese one is a tragic one sadly.
