like watching a movie in 2x
the plot of the story is very good and I really like it, it could easily have been a very popular drama hat had hitted and everyone talked about my opinion, I would have liked it a lot)it becomes very clear as you watch that the budget of the drama was very tight, the episodes were short, the shots were sad and some of the actors weren't the best. (there is not much to do about this, but if they had had more money and so on it could have become really nice)
the best way to describe watching this drama, would be watching a movie in 2x speed.
either way it is a good story, and definitely watch worthy since you wont be too annoyed with the bad shooting of the scenes all there isn't really many scenes.

Not Good Enough
" Dalgona " was, unfortunately, one of those Korean Web Dramas that just miss the spot. The story had potential but never lived up to them, and the love story was less than half baked.Dalgona starts okay, with impressive editing and an opening scene that catches the eye, as it is intense and promising. You want to know what happens to the girl and you want her to get back at her bully. However, that revenge plot did not give the satisfaction that one should hope for. Part of it is due to the short length. And that could have been a solid excuse, cause, yes, this is a web drama and one should not expect it to give you an in-depth representation of the story if other short web dramas had handled their stories (some of them quite similar to this one) so nicely that the viewer didn't felt their short length. Alas, this is not the case. That is why most of the other plotlines, like the romance, were rushly handled and awkwardly concluded.
On another note, the performances were enjoyable.
So, overall, 2.5 out of 10.

Lacks a plot.
Not really a plot in this entire drama, could've been much more since the acting wasn't too bad and I liked the setting and the way it was filmed and it didn't look low budget. I think there's not enough episodes, I think this is one of those dramas that could almost be 16 episodes because it's quite slow moving. This drama feels empty like the plot never started, there wasn't really a plot. I wish we could've got longer episodes and a few more episodes, it honestly had so much potential to be really good. Siyoung is good at playing a bully but it feels like another character she played so it's not that amazing. There were a lot of cheesy slow motion clips. Jiyeon plays same type characters so that’s disappointing. Eunseo isn't a bad actress to be honest she's a lot better than a lot of idols and even some actresses. I wish the writers expanded on what the last scene meant. I probably won't watch season two since it is an entirely different cast and probably doesn’t even focus on what happened in first season. I think there isn't really a plot, but the drama was filmed really nicely, I would watch it just for that.Was this review helpful to you?
I am not a fan of the acting, maybe because I find them all awkward. I am not familiar with the actors in the drama which is fine with me since it's a pretty short drama.
Finding the courage to fight back to the bullying is the main lesson of the drama but I think it was not thoroughly emphasized and the ending was kinda lacking as I am waiting for the ‘past friend’ to show up, and suddenly it diverted into a romance drama which for me was not supposed to be.
