THE BEST BL I HAVE EVER WATCHED
I honestly don't have much to say other than watch this BL. It was SO GOOD. I was completely entranced every episode, I didn't want it to end. The acting, the music, the cinematography, the story it was all so good and I can't get it off my mind and literally no series hits the same anymore. Also like I loved every single side character and was invested in all their stories which is so rare for me. GRAM AND YOK AND DAN their stories like held their own but were also beautifully entwined with the main storyline. And don't even get me started on the level of acting Off and Gun brought to this show. the characters were all so complex and the actors DELIVERED. The soundtrack was so good I have OEOEOEOEOEOE playing on repeat on Spotify (if u kno u kno). Lit just rambling but that's how good the show is I can't even think straight. Meh.
So this is a story of a guy who joins his comatose twin brother's thug gang members who take the law into their own hands and get hurt... a lot. Oh, and two gay couples emerge from it because, you know, that's what always happens within dangerous gangs. The End.Here are my pros and cons:
PROS
FLUKE (Dan). For me, he was the best actor in the show. And... he's GORGEOUS. He can pose naked for me any day.
CONCEPT. It was interesting, especially in the first half of the series.
OST. I liked the theme song.
CONS
GUN AS A GANG MEMBER. I'm sorry, but are we seriously supposed to believe that Gun is a dangerous gang member that could actually hurt anyone? Sure, he's a decent actor, but he's built like a fem twink and has no arm muscles whatsoever. Yeah... I'm sure everyone is REAL scared of him...
STORY. What started out as an interesting concept got tired very quickly. The characters were mostly unlikeable, the whole Tawi thing got boring and, in the end, I couldn't have cared less who got together.
I'm giving it a 6.0.

Good Enough
Thai Drama "Not Me" has an enjoyable soundtrack and a brilliant main lead.On that note, the music was excellent and just right for the story, without having one song being repeated throughout the whole series. Rather, there was a variety of songs and all of them feated the mood of the drama. As for the leading actor, he did an excellent job transitioning from Black to White, in which he proves his dynamics as an actor. The rest of the cast did a good job as well.
Unfortunately, the drama had not a smooth pace and the last episode just conveniently and rushly concluded everything. There were a few questionable decisions of the characters as well, some of them even got annoying after a while.
So, overall, six out of ten.

YOK THE ONLY CHARACTER EVER!
This is my all time favourite BL. I don’t think anything could ever top it.Everything about this show is literal perfection… the characters… the romances… the plot. I love stories that deal with political and social problems so I of course loved it. I have never been more emotionally invested in something in my life. THE FUCKING PRIDE FLAG SCENE… DANYOK EP 13… THE VAN SCENE… UGH JUST SO GOOD! Gun ate as always! Get that man an Oscar. And I love Yok so much😫 This show did more for me than therapy could ever.
But besties… why no ToddBlack? We were robbed! Robbed I’m telling you!!!
I don’t think I will ever recover from this series, but anyway, be gay, do crimes🫡

A must watch!
Not Me and Bad Buddy set the bars so high lol good luck nowFirst of all, I'm in love with their acting! I'm almost sad that there's not actually 2 Guns. It feels like someone's missing now haha. He made an amazing job at making you forget they're actually the same person.
The chemistry was chef's kiss. Also there's not unnecessary drama, communication problems or disgusting scheming. They feel normal.
The story is interesting, they're not just playing romance games, they're living and fighting real life problems. The side story (Yok-Dan) is also well written. The female characters too!
As you can see, I recommend you watch it hehe I don't wanna keeps this too long since probably understood what's my idea of the series already. Have fun watching!

I am all about a good action show, but a lot of the action portions didn't do it for me for whatever reason. I did a lot of fast forwarding during the first few episodes of the show. I didn't drop it though, because even if this particular show wasn't my favorite, it was still a good story with some amazing acting. It felt full and well rounded, and the resolution, in my opinion, took about 3 episodes as opposed to everything being dumped into the last episode. So, while all the sneaking around and violence was necessary to the story, I didn't feel the need to pay attention to any part that didn't have dialogue.I appreciate that, while LGBTQ+ rights were a part of the human rights that they were protesting for, it was in no way an issue for the guys to have romantic relationships with each other. Within the gang, there was no discussion whatsoever about it being taboo...they just accepted it and moved on. The only part that was really mentioned was the fact that Black and Sean didn't get along so it was surprising that they got together (even though it was finally revealed that Sean was with White, not Black.)
I want to reiterate that the acting was phenomenal.
Some of my favorite scenes:
--When Black beat up Sean and Sean didn't fight back
--The van rescue
--White saving Sean's life in the shootout
--Any scene with Gumpa....I just loved his character, and the smiles that he gave Sean and White showing his happiness for them. Such a parental unit for the gang.
--Any scene with Gram. He was just so good looking. I think it was his hair. Also...I did not really understand the relationship with Gram and Nuch. I think they tried to explain it, but it just confused me. But I loved how sincere Gram was in his affection towards them. And the scene where Gram blew Nuch a kiss was simply sweet.
--Dan's tears
Despite the fact that I wasn't interested in parts of the first few episodes, and various parts throughout, I think that it is worth a high rating.

Remember how we were so excited about Manner of Death?This has the same level of realism, wonderful acting, and no-nonsense plot progression. (though the mystery of Thai college schedules persists, like, how are they managing law school /and/ bamf rebel things?)
Each character is intricate, and grows throughout the series, with fleshed-out backgrounds. While they don't spend a ton of time on campus, they do remind us now and then that the boys are studying the legal system etc.; and White's confusion therein is realistic given that he was in Russia for so long, and probably only being taught the palatable version of Thai history and politics.
Each relationship progression is intricate and (slightly) unexpected, instead of the typical BL ship checklist. The Yok/Dan ship is beautiful and compassionate, and Sean's differing relationships with Black and White are both powerful and logical.
Gun does such an excellent job of playing twins that we don't have to rely on costume changes to differentiate the two (though they do wear different things from each other). The way Sean reacts to Black and WhiteasBlack are openly discussed between the rest of the group in a way that gives us insight into who Black is before we even officially meet him in the present day. Black and White's relationships with their parents are also believable and complicated, and it is even possible for the audience to sympathize with the adults; whereas usually bl's place us firmly on the MC's side.
Overall, definitely top-tier content that I will be returning to often.

One of the best shows ever
Let's start by saying I am a huge OffGun fan and an even bigger bl fan. This show has made me realize that you can have a show that is "bl" but is also bigger than bl. This show is so good and touches on so many different themes that I sometimes forget I'm watching a bl show. To me it is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time - the acting, the directing, the cinematography are all so good. Also the song choices match very well to the tone of the scenes.I think this is honestly some of the best acting I have seen from Off, Gun, Gawin and First - those 4 have made me cry multiple times (especially Gawin and Off) and the way the director is able to get such a good performance and find the best camera angle to capture the actors is really a masterpiece.

OHH MYY GODDD!!!!!I don't even know where to start! This was one of the best BLs I've ever watched. And I highly recommend this drama to anyone who loves BLs.
Firstly I have to say that this is as I know the first BL which addressed the LGBTQ community directly. And I'm so impressed about it.
The build up of this drama, acting and the story line was so perfect. The development of each of the character of Black, White, Sean, Yok, Gumpa, Gram, Dan, Todd and even the other supporting characters were on point.
What most impressed me is the acting of P' Gun... I mean how????? How did he do the double acting so damn perfect???
If you watched t he drama you would know how the personalities of the two twin brothers White and Black are completely different. The way they talk, the way the dress, the way they walk...even the way the lift their hand and gestures were completely different. Gun did a really really great job bringing out two completely different characters at the same time. I have not seen an actor so talented in the BL industry who can do two completely opposite characters at the same time. I'm just lost for words when describing that perfection. Acting of all the others were also on point. The way they bring out their emotions is just so perfect and beautiful. Fluke and First did a great job through out the series to bring out the changing personalities of the two characters of Dan and Yok.
The directing was so perfect and it gave so much quality to this drama.
Since I don't want to give you any spoilers, i wouldn't tell how the story goes or what happens in the end. I just want to tell whoever is reading this, don't think twice just go and watch the drama!
Fair warning....this is not a flowery love story, there are so many ups and downs and they talk about many social issues.

This drama is like a baby taking its first steps…
a bit wobbly and can hardly be called walking, but it’s such a big achievement it’s worth celebrating.A straightforward criticism of the capitalistic world and social structures that exclude everyone not willing to act according to unfair rules. While some scenes might have felt preachy, the message was loud and clear, and sometimes this is exactly what is needed. You could feel the passion of youth in this project.
What the drama does phenomenally is making you care for this bunch of young people. Realistically speaking they should have been either dead or arrested by episode 4 at best, but against all logic, you just want to see them succeed and get out of it alive.
The acting! GMM truly decided to cast their best in this one. We all know Gun and Off have natural chemistry, but it was great to see them shine next to each other as individual characters, rather than just a couple. First was so good, at times I felt like he was too good for this script, or too good for this small part of Thai entertainment industry.
Production wise I loved quite a few shots. The use of different sources of light made some scenes extremely beautiful. Shots of two Guns were well edited - yes, if you know the actor well, you can see how the double used for some scene is different, but one has to be really nitpicky to make it an actual flaw.
All that said, the whole show was so serious and unserious at the same time, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to feel about it. Motivated to make a change and tackle social issues? Rolling on the floor laughing about poorly executed fighting scenes? How unrealistic the production was took away from how realistic and serious the issues they tried to present. How am I supposed to see baby faced Gun take down a few professionally trained highly specialized security guards of the millionaire villain? Him boxing once a week with his teen buddies must have been enough for training I guess.
Not to mention the frequent PPLs. I know the drama needs founding, but taking into consideration the anti-capitalistic themes in the show, it just stood out in a painfully negative way.
Then we have the flying parkour, Sing being completely miscast, the lack of closure - no, this is not how you are supposed to do an open ending or any ending. The power imbalance between the good and the bad guys that I was supposed to just accept as realistic, when it made little to no sense…
Overall, it’s hard not to like it. It gives all the right messages, delivers great entertainment, a variety of characters and point of views. Leaves enough space for the viewers to make their own mind. The acting was amazing, visually it was pleasant to the eye. It just did not feel polished enough - the passion should have been used a little bit for the good old planning, practice and production. Maybe some script rewrites here and there too.

Not me! No, I was not disappointed at all!
Overall, the show had a few flaws here and there, but I was not expecting such a bl to be produced. The concept of this entire show is just incredible and kept me wanting more at a few episodes. Notice how I said "few"? That is because sometimes, they spent too much time trying to justify the gang's ideology that I felt like it was such a drag. This aspect did make me skip a few parts throughout the show as I was simply uninterested. However, the scenes that deprived the story of the element of the gang did move the plot, but I don't think it made much of a difference. After it ended, I went, "now what?" because it was just incredible. 100% WATCH IT! It's worth it! Trust me. Other than this criticism, this show is just MWAH. The central character development is so visually understandable, and you can see the shift in the change of personality of the main character. Fantastic acting and a good story pacing for this type of story! WATCH IT IF YOU LIKE violence and gangs mixed in with some unique love story.Was this review helpful to you?

Watched this when it came out and I still think about it & rewatch all the time!Everything is perfection, the suspense, the unique plot— especially the way it deals with social justice, the acting, EVERYTHING.
I love it so much that I’ve watched it more than I can remember. Offgun have incredible chemistry and are such good, talented actors who make it look so effortless and real. I liked the second couples as well and everyone’s acting/ chemistry was so good— don’t think people hype up the WHOLE ENTIRE CAST as much as they should :)
This review doesn’t have much structure 😂 Just overall this drama is the best out there and you should definitely watch it. It will always be the standard for me!
