A must watch!
Not Me and Bad Buddy set the bars so high lol good luck nowFirst of all, I'm in love with their acting! I'm almost sad that there's not actually 2 Guns. It feels like someone's missing now haha. He made an amazing job at making you forget they're actually the same person.
The chemistry was chef's kiss. Also there's not unnecessary drama, communication problems or disgusting scheming. They feel normal.
The story is interesting, they're not just playing romance games, they're living and fighting real life problems. The side story (Yok-Dan) is also well written. The female characters too!
As you can see, I recommend you watch it hehe I don't wanna keeps this too long since probably understood what's my idea of the series already. Have fun watching!

One of the Best BL Series
This was an outstanding series. The multiple storylines were great. I love it when a series has a strong storyline which incorporates the bl couple(s) development. The script was wonderful, and I like how they tied up everything in the end. There were some elements of the script that are weak in my opinion (don’t worry, no spoilers). However, the weak points are minor and does not really distract from the story. I was also able to predict who had Black severally beaten. I’m not surprised that the acting was amazing because this series has quite a few veteran actors in it.Was this review helpful to you?
IT WAS SO GOOD I WANNA GIVE IT A 100000 BUT THATS NOT POSSIBLE SO I GIVE IT A 10
NOT ME WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I didnt review while it still aired because I was curious to see how everything would play out. If the writer could maintain the plot and keep it as good as it was until the very end.The storyline was one of a kind. I get to watch dramas with such unique plots once in a while. Both the characters and actors grew on me so much.
White and Black - their bond was just so lovely. No matter how far they were or how different they became they still managed to portray SIBLING LOVE/BOND at its best! I think this is the best character of GUN I've ever seen and it will forever remain with me.
Sean really grew on me. I found myself wondering what his character was about to rooting for him every sunday, crying while he cried and smiling while he smiled.
YOK & DAN - while some people may have hated Dan for his decisions. I understood everything he did. Sometimes loving someone is not so easy and I was so glad Yok could understand that. I loved this couple every step of the way.
Gram & Eugene - I had reservations about them and may have rolled my eyes at them until towards the end but I came to understand. As much as I wanted Black with Eugene, I admit he really did hurt her and she deserves to be happy with whoever she chooses.
Gumpa - Oh my Gumpa! What a character! And Grams ex girlfriend was such a queen! I was hoping Todd wouldn't be what I suspected but everyone cannot be good. He wanted same thing as Black but just choosed a different direction. It really hurt to be see how their story played out!
I'm not sure how they managed to make not a single scene boring in this drama. I cannot think of a single thing wrong with it. Watching dramas these good has raised my standard so high, even more higher than it was before. This was a MASTERPIECE! The plot, the actors, the music! I have to say i dont think any other show can beat this anytime soon.
One last thing! THE MUSIC WAS ? WHOEVER was in charge of the music deserves a Bonus!

Finally, a story driven BL - a new age for BLs as they just keep getting better and better.
I've been so impressed with the latest BLs coming out recently. They're more story-driven, with well-rounded casts, great acting, wonderful editing, and even good OSTs. First, it was I Told Sunset About You (and its sequel), then Bad Buddy, then Semantic Error (Korea), and now this. I'm ecstatic with what I'm seeing, especially with the inclusivity in Not Me. The writers manage to touch upon so many important topics, like LGBTQ rights, advocacy for those with disabilities, wealth inequality, political corruption, etc.The cast are all very great actors, but I'm of course especially impressed by Off and Gun and the other main actor pairings. Gun's acting stunned me out of the gate. His scene in the restaurant during the first episode impressed me. I could feel myself getting suffocated just watching his struggle, he looked genuinely in pain and afraid. His eyes are very expressive. His chemistry with Off is immediate and electrifying. I can understand why theirs a ship for them. Also a huge fan of the height difference. Off is also mesmerizing on-screen, and my heart breaks and rejoices with every microexpression.
[[[Ep 3 Update:]]]
Continuously completely blown away by the commentary. The writing for this series is really wonderful.
[[[Ep. 7 Update:]]
The night-time scene at the rally moved me to tears. Beautifully shot. The community representation. The cinematography. The song. The moment when Sean first saw White at the rally, and when he meets him underneath the flag. That whole scene, with Sean and White underneath the flag, gave me SO MANY GOOSEBUMPS. Full body chills, honestly. Especially when Sean grabbed his hand. UGH. I'm loving this series so much. T_T I'd also like to add that I'm *completely* invested in the secondary love line so far, with Yok and Dan.
[[Ep. 9 Update:]]
The goosebumps never left me. If you haven't started this series by now, you're really missing out. I want to re-watch everything for the first time again.
[[Ep.10 Update:]]
If Gun doesn't get an award for this series, I'mma throw hands.
[[Ep.14 Update]]
Tears. This series was not *just* a series. It was a movement. It was a feeling. It was release.
I can't recommend it enough and I can't wait to see what else OffGun and GMMTV come out with.
PS. The OST for this series is A M A Z I N G. It completely adds to every scene. GMMTV really outdid themselves.

Serious BL focusing on Politics and injustice happening
The reason I started this so late was the series being a serious one and not a fluffy or romcom one.Story :
The story is nice, well put and properly scripted to cover most if not all small things.
Acting:
I have seen most of the leads in multiple series and believe that this is by far the best they have acted till now. Acting by Gun needs special appreciation.
In a couple of scenes, I think it could have been directed or scripted better as it was not properly matching with the characters, eg. after Sean confesses to Black, his dialogue seems too extreme for his character.
I would love to watch another series of Sing Harit Cheewagaroon who played the role of Tod, liked his acting and his physique.
Another thing I would like to mention is, the makeup/character's representation, Black/White could have been portrayed a bit more masculine and mature as his physique doesn't matches with someone who is a fighter. One of the starting scene of Gawin's eyeliner was too dark.
At times it feels very dumb and unrealistic that he switched places without knowing things about his twin.
Another thing I loved is the art shown and developed in the series.
But to be frank I don't see good chemistry between the leads.

No Other Show Like It
It's hard to articulate what makes this a masterpiece from start to finish. Casting was near perfection, production was some of the highest quality and the chemistry of every couple was beyond expectations. This is in my top 5 BL and as a general show, it stands to be very high on my list after the final episode. It would be a fantastic re watch and the social commentary was welcomed each episode. I loved the fight scenes, action and drama throughout. I watched this show from episode one and I can honestly say I loved doing it that way. Watching the finale brought all kinds of emotions and tears, which I almost never cry in a BL. I might be on my own, but somebody please give me a spin off of my boys Tod and Black. That was one of the most untapped parts of the show, my imagination ran wild every time the two of them were in a scene together. I'll keep this short, as if you've seen the ratings for this show, then you know well and good what you need to do!Was this review helpful to you?

Couldn't stop watching
This is now my favorite bl series. I liked that it had more of an interesting plot to it. It wasn't just about two guys falling in love; it adressed poltical interests and human rights. It talks about standing up for your beliefs but doing it in a smart way rather than being chaotic about it. The chemistry between the two male leads was electric. And both of their acting skills were phenomenal!! I especially liked Off's portrayal of the character Sean. This is is the first series I watched of Off and Gun. After seeing this I plan on watching all of their works. I watched it all in one day I couldn't stop watching it.Was this review helpful to you?
I want to like it more, because I know it's good
I want to like it more, because it's finally a BL which is different, where the BL aspect isn't in the center. But my attention span wasn't long enough,(don't binge-watch it like me) to enjoy it properly. It's art, the scenes are beautiful, but it's like watching art for hours, it isn't too exciting you know? And I felt like the pacing is too slow, even though stuff happened all the time. It just didn't made me want to necessarily continue watching, like not in the staying-up-all-night-to-finish-it way. And the ending could be better done, it needs a season 2 but I think that they are trying to keep it open. But the quality and the acting were sooo good, so give it a shot! Was this review helpful to you?

cannot simply be put into the "BL" box
This series is so much more than that.I didn't start watching it right from the day it started airing. Heck, I knew nothing about it and even ignored my mutual's tweets when they were talking about this series + all those edits being churned out on the tl. I was pretty slow in realizing the craze and the masterpiece that this show is. I started it when episode 8 had aired already. After seeing countless people praising it and having nothing new to watch, I HAD TO. So I turned on the first episode and..... BOY, WAS I MINDBLOWN
I went into it with the mindset of how I start other bl series, but it turned out to give me SO MUCH MORE than just that. Also, must mention here that I am pretty new to the world of bls, so offgun weren't a pairing familiar to me. I didn't know anything about them so gun's acting had me by the neck. I WAS SO IMPRESSED?? I was HOOKED and still am. Both of these people, gun and off, are phenomenal actors, especially in this series. The amount of effort everyone has put into this shows in the quality of the content we see.
I was also informed that the budget wasn't exactly the best and the promotion was even worse. Even after all the obstacles, this series turned out to be GORGEOUS. I can't wait to rewatch this in one sitting just to feel something. But nothing would compare to how I watched the last six episodes realtime with so many people who were equally mindblown by the concept and the story. I don't even have to talk much about the story because we all know how powerful the messages were. I am incredibly impressed by all the people involved in this, from the music team to the actors to the director to even the extras who played small roles. That guy leading the protest was POWERFUL, those protestors waving the pride flag were POWERFUL and impactful. I am glad to have come across and watched a series like this. I am grateful that offgun were the ones playing these roles because they did justice to their characters.
Rooting for a season 2 or a movie cause the loose ends weren't tied. When it comes to characters, although seanwhite were my fav in the beginning, Black turned out to be the most intriguing one. I really want more of him. Gun is impeccable in this role. Seriously, I am obsessed with offgun now and will probably check out more of them cause boy do I have a feast waiting for me with all that 6 years of content to catch up on.
(Have the biggest crush on Black though THAT'S MY HONEY IM GLAD HE'S ALIVE)

I love it!
I watched this without any expectations. So far I wasn't a fan of OffGun, because i watched Theory of Love and I couldn't even finish it, but then I saw the rating of Not Me and gave it another chance.... all I can say is, that I'm damn stunned of this masterpiece! Not only the story in general is good, I really like it that it's more brutal and that the acting of the gang really has a deep meaning, I also love the couples. I love the way Yok and Dan found each other.
This might be the only drama where I nearly shazamed every single song during the episodes. The music of this drama is so good! This is actually reason enough for me to rewatch it.
Every BL fan really has to watch this drama and I'm not even kidding!

BL, but a focus on social economic issues
I wouldn't say that Not Me is a BL in its essence. Yes, the main characters fall in love, but there is more than that. The characters bond over their motivations to make Thailand (or the world in general) a better place by challenging its justice system and by exposing injustices performed by rich people in power specifically. OffGun as always have knocked it out of the park with this one. Their acting is so extremely believable and detailed, you forget they are acting at times. Every single character is given time to shine, and White is able to connect with many of them on a deeper level than Black was able to.There are parts in the series that show how Black acted towards the other members of the gang and the stark difference is incredible. You really believe that White and Black are completely different people, but they are performed by the same person! From the way he talks and his mannerisms, everything is different and you can feel the tension. I highly enjoyed the drama. I binged the last half of the show in two days because I just really wanted to see how it would develop and end. I even cried during the last episode with the crowd of supporters. I think this BL is not only good, but it is also important. This series is a statement, and I believe that there are some valuable lessons to be learned from this.
