It will be one of your favorites!
This show ties with Bad Buddy for my favorite BL and it made me fall for Gun immediately. (I watched Theory of Love afterward but I prefer Not Me). The acting, directing, and OffGun chemistry are fantastic. This series combined BL with high quality suspenseful action drama. So far, I haven’t seen any other BL come close. I’ve rewatched it a few times now and I know I’ll watch it again! The one tiny drawback is a few moments where the stunts are silly. You’ll know when you see it lol. There may be a few details of the plot that are confusing, but I think it makes it more interesting to rewatch. I truly believe that once you start watching it, you’ll be hooked! Was this review helpful to you?
A really good mix of bl and social justice of law
Really loved the story a very new story a completely different situations then usually bl.Loved the cuteness between offgun
The second couple has good chemistry
Shows the social conditions of the society we live in these days and the justice of the law
. This show was in a way realistic to how society is fully of corruption and illegality and still these people get away under the law. But at the end of the day it does serve as a good bl and gives the characters to grow and love between all the action.
Really worth a watch

A very different BL experience
You know how we keep complaining about Thai BL’s featuring the same old tropes and clichés? Well Not me, decided to break almost all of them. The story of the good twin taking the place of his sibling with the intent to avenge him, is not a first in the movie/drama world, but what makes it unique is that the twins here are Black and White. I absolutely fell in love with the two polar opposite brothers who came from similar lifestyles but took on completely different perspectives on life, and who by the end of this drama choose the same goal, but different paths. They are the same, as brothers and due to their bond, that is almost unshakable despite their differences and the same time they couldn’t be more different with their personalities and how they choose to attain their goals.
Another thing I love about this show are the grey characters, namely Sean, Black and Gumpa. They seem come right off the bat as potential murderers, as if they don’t care who lives or dies for their goals, but they show immense ability to help and protect. They are all so easy to hate as well as love, especially Black and Sean.
When it comes to relationships, the contrast between White and Sean and Dan and Yok kept things lively. I didn’t feel particularly good about Gram’s connection with Eugene. It just seemed a little too disconnected.
The plot had a solid foundation but was not as cohesive as I hoped. There were a lot of moments I just wished were better explained or never mentioned at all.
The villains in this drama are mostly symbolic, as the show brings them in often but didn’t give them a chance to shine as many dramas do these days. They were meant to showcase a corrupt and privileged cycle of exploitation and crime. While that is understandable, the formulation for the villain portrayals and the actors who took on the roles had a lot of potential to make their roles stellar. The drama fell just short of good there, as it just brought on the feeling that there could be more.
Overall a good drama, and I recommend watching it to widen your BL and Drama horizons. I’ve got to say, I always thought of Gun as a cute but not particularly attention grabbing actor until now, but his performance as Black and White was exceptional.

It's different and I liked it.
This story is different than the other typical bls I'm so used to seeing. This series was great, from the storyline, to the acting, to the soundtrack. It had me on the edge of my seat every weekend, and then left me not-so-patiently waiting for the next episode. Despite my love for the series, I didn't feel fully satisfied by the end, there were some things in the ending that I feel were looked over a bit. I don't want to say it felt rushed because it seem to mostly any questions I may have had. Despite that. I feel that the positives of this drama outweigh the unsatisfied feeling I may have had towards the ending. This series truly is a must watch. I'd definitely recommend !Was this review helpful to you?
Add in your list
Series started at good end but the ending was little rushed. Ending was little rushed and it has left some open ends but are ok to ignore.Overall add in your list of must watch series. The acting was quite commendable from all of star cast.
New intriguing plot for BL series not some cliche drama.
As a foreign fan i really liked the plot how black/white were portrayed in the series.

Didn’t want it to end
I have to say this is one of the best Asian Bl I’ve seen so far. There is an actual story and it made sense. Off gun chemistry is undeniable and they did a great job. There is a good balance between the romance and the political fight. The only disappointment would be with the finale episode and how they wrapped things. Many questions still need to be answered and it seemed quite unrealistic compared to the first 13 episodes.
I get that the subject was controversial and they were lacking budget so maybe this is why they rushed the finale.
Hope to see more bl like that in the future and more of their projects.

Whats not to like about this?
The acting great, the plot amazing, the chemistry spectacular. This may be one of the best Bl i have watched. The cast was great and the characters were all likeable. I like how this isnt really a Bl where they just focus on the leads kissing. The story was so great and it always made me hungry for more. The suspense, action and drama was just *chef kiss*. The background music was also great and I loved that there was no cringy sound effect. /spoiler but to be honest, the only thing that made me mad was how quicky Dan's actions was forgiven. Like I am all for forgiveness and all but bro he literally almost killed all your friends and you just forgive him like that. I would have liked it more, if they talked it out and went their separate ways, forgiven or not. cause what he did was just hard to turn a cheek tho but its still good I guess. This may be the greatest bl 2022 (for now) maybe next to bad buddy. Loved every second of it.Was this review helpful to you?
Not Me shows how much potential BL Thai series have - It's addictive!!!
Not Me is awesome, all the elements work well together. There's great acting, especially from Gun portraying multiple characters and personalities. There's the music that follows brilliantly love, hate, dangerous and sad scenes setting the mood perfectly and making you feel excited. And there's a story full of social justice issues being discussed, so here I have to pause to applaud and reflect on that.It is rare for me to see a series not only tackling social issues but also making the viewers stop and think about their realities. I'm originally a jdrama fan, that's how I entered the world of asian dramas, but honestly I never really felt connected to their reality. The cultural difference is what attracted me. With Thai dramas, and more especifically BL Thai, however, it is the opposite. As a third world country citizen I can empathize and see myself in many things, and this series blew my mind. All the human rights, corruption, same sex marriage, law enforcement and issues presented here are part of my life as a Brazilian under my current government. I don't trust the police... This series really made me happy to see people fighting against the system. Kudos to the writers. It was impossible not to root for them and cry along when they got caught. The only thing that fell short for me was the open end, I really wish we could see if they're going to jail or not, and we have the unresolved issues with Todd. I could watch much more of it and there is enough material for that. You don't even get to know what happened to Tawi... Like, please, have another season or a movie to tell me?
The acting is superb, you understand both White and Black, you see the small differences in Gun's acting and you love their interactions. Gun is exceptional. I felt like hugging my sister even tighter next time we see each other, bc brotherhood should be like this, having each other's back no matter what. Off was also amazing, his Sean was so sweet under his hard skin, their love was beautiful to watch. Yok and Dan were also great, I totally understand Dan, he was forced to help the status quo, and although I'm happy they got to end up together, I wouldn't mind him dying lol. Kudos to the actors.
I can't recommend and compliment this series enough, if you ever come across this gem please don't wait and watch it. It is amazing!

Love gays in crime so much
At first I thought it would be highly dramatic because it starts with the whole twin drama but actually the story and the acting surprised me. It's pretty well executed and written: nothing better than a good twin switch envolving justice and illegal actions with a great romance in it. Really, Off and Gun have a crazy connection going on, not to mention they're acting skills that are so good I almost cried many times watching this 'cause it's so dangerous what they go through. It's impossible not to get envolved with all the characters and I love the secondary couple since all the actors and actresses do an amazing job. There are things that got me thinking like how does it not cross they're minds that Black might not be himself? I mean I would've at least thought that he lost his memory or something, but there would be no way he just "changed" like they said. That was just a detail and it can be ignored because the drama is crazy and even beautiful. Was this review helpful to you?
For those in need of hope and inspiration
I started watching this series back when only 8 episodes were out. I did it frivolously, because I was sure that I'd end up getting bored and dropping it after the first 2 episodes, as it usually happens to me. What a mistake. It got me hooked and obsessed. I started living for the sundays, as it was the most awaited day of the week for me, because a new episode was comming out. I was constantly oscilating between the regret and, the excitement of getting into an ongoing, because this series was like a drug to me and I was unable to get myself together and clear my thoughts for several days after an episode would come out.
However, at the same time, I don't remember having this much fun being involved in the discussions regarding the beauty and the plot of a series since GOT. And even then, I was only reading theories, not actively participating.
Anyway, this was an amazing experience. It's absolutely obvious that this project is a product of love. You can feel that it's special from the very first moments. The music, the visuals, the plot, the characters, the ideas - "Not me" gave me so much in this moment in my life when I really needed to feel a bit of hope and inspiration.
Considering the difficulties that they've encountered while creating the "Not me" series, I think they've done an outstanding job.
So, to everyone involved in this process and to everyone who promoted this series and contributed to me finding it, Thank you.

SOOO GOOD!!
This is the first Thai BL that I've watched all the way through and I absolutely adored it! Offgun's chemistry is truly off the charts so I get the hype around them! I thought the story was very interesting as well, especially with the element of twins. I also really liked the side couples. Yok stole the show at time for me! He was such a loveable character and by the end I was crying and hoping he was happy forever. It was fun to watch the relationships develop and blossom as well. It felt like a perfect pace, not too slow that I get bored but also not too fast it feels unrealistic. Overall, very strongly loved this one!Was this review helpful to you?
