If that was the ending then NO

***Spoilers***
I did not invest all that time and emotion in these characters for the writers to treat us as test subjects. If this is really the end then I won’t watch anything else they write. Ever. We followed this show and these characters through two seasons and deserved a better ending for all. Some did deserve to find happiness and some obviously did not. The ghost plot was dumb and I ignored it through most of the series anyway. I’ve been disappointed in endings before but nothing like this. It seems the writers went out of their way to shock us unnecessarily.

Why?

Why would you take the time to write a drama that makes people want to fight you as the writer? Why? I know you can do better. Why in hell am I seeing a naked ghost pervert in the story line that has gone no where. I want Justice for the ladies and I don't see that happening and I am at episode 11 of season 2. At least season 2 is slightly better than season 1. What you doing? Why!!!!? The only reason I will stick with the drama with a lot of scrolling is because I want to see ending full of justice.

another cliffhanger for this poorly written series

One of the worst, if not THE WORST, series ever. (and yet, along with others, I have this nagging urge to finish it even if Season 3 is still full of dumb plots and dialogues).

First off, I didn't watch all the episodes of season 1. Skipped just to see the ending.

I seriously hope this ensemble never gets casted again. The dialogue is already laughable as it is and seeing them act is even worse, What is it with the magic wand effect whenever they have this "daydream" sequence???

This show is probably popular because of the cheating theme, but the writer and producers should know when to stop.

That ending was a big WTH???!!!

Bold and Liberal

This drama was heavily researched with a very liberal point of view. It is no surprise that this drama received quite a lot of hatred. It depicts the stories of modern marriages in the recent decades and the reality of life. Women living in the 21st century in democratic countries exercise their right to go after what they want; it is refreshing to see divorcees advance in life with a broader perspective, not wasting time lamenting over husbands who are not worth fighting for, and are mature enough to be glad with the happy endings of the mistresses (or 2nd wives, in this story) as they receive their own. I have never been married nor have I ever been in an affair so my view remains neutral but this drama leans more on the cynical, realistic side of marriages in this modern age in democratic countries. It's not your typical love affair drama. It is modern, bold, and liberal.

Worth Watching

So I was not planning to watch this series of K-Drama but since I was looking for a new drama to watch I thought I give it a try. It did take a few episodes to get into it.. I binged watched S1 and S2. The main reason I decided to watch it was for Sung Hoon- great actor and love his voice.. Although I did not enjoy watching him get beat up by his raccoon eyes wife! Yes some of the stories dragged on- I really thought the storyline with the professor and the musical actress was kind of boring.. I also agree with other reviewer- the ghost story is totally ridiculous! They had this old geezer looking/roaming around like a pervert. The best couple is the lawyer's parents- the way they interact with each other and their Dong-mi doggy.. The kindergarten scene was so funny.. Also there are too many extras in the drama- I think the writers cannot get a handle of closing out all of the storyline. So S3 is confirmed BUT 2 of the main actors are not coming back and are being replaced by other actors. Maybe one main actor but two?? Especially the ending of S2 in which they marry other people that had no storyline with them?? While I did want to watch S3- my favorite actor is not returning - its going to be hard to watch. I watched another k-drama in which they replaced the main actress into like the 4th episode and the whole kdrama never seemed to work for me.. Not that I condone cheating but this is only a tv drama- I didn't mind the dream scene- sometimes its annoying since you don't know if its reality or not? For this k-drama- they did two seasons and they expect me to watch S3 ? Not sure if I will... to be determined...

What happened?

I watched Season 1 and got disappointed, Its seems the writers knew how disappointing that season was.
Then came season 2.
I thought they were gonna make it up, and to be fair season II was far more better than the first one,.
but the ending? Oh! What kind of ending was that? Ridiculous! especially the part where the step mother and the mistress fight, it's corny.

We were expecting if not a happy ending, at least justice! If there would be Season 3? I wouldn't watch it. I swear. Waste of time.

Not Looking Forward To A Season 3

An entire episode during season 2 of 'Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)' was dedicated to a husband making extremely weak attempts to justify his cheating on his wife to his wife which he ultimately failed to do. And I thought to myself, "What a waste of an episode" but it's to be expected from a Kdrama that dresses up the trauma and pain of adultery in the latest fashions and then tries to convince us that we should have some sort of empathy for the cheaters.

I would've liked to have seen during season 2 of 'L(fMaD)' how the wives would've been treated if they were the ones cheating. I'm sure they all would've been slut-shamed for starters and the radio show would've most definitely been canceled.

Season 2 like season 1 also misses opportunities to confront the false notion that women only have value as wives and mothers. Instead, 'L(fMaD)' season 2 reinforces it. But, then again, this is the same country where male netizens criticized a South Korean Olympic gold medalist An San for having short hair.

I wanted to punch the husband who impregnated the older woman in the throat. At no time was I convinced that he was a lawyer acting that childish. I'm glad his wife beat his ass. He was one of the most annoying characters in a Kdrama I've ever seen...and I've watched Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. And his parents cosigning his cheating was just irritating.

I almost threw up when one of the wives excuses her husband's infidelity by saying that she must have been a bad person in a past life. Huh?

And the season 2 finale did not make me want to stick around for a season 3 even though I know I will continue to hate-watch this Kdrama.

great acting and dialogue

love this drama in season 1 and was great to see season 2 carry on ever better. The acting is great and real life suitations. Can not wait for season 3 with out the ghost. Great writting and acting in esp 12 with the constant barter between Shin Yoo Shin and Sa Pi Young. This was an intense esp with life lessons. Loved the justification, excuses with You Shin had an answer for everything. and still trying to justify the reasons. Great over all. I enjoyed this drama and looking forward to season 3

Definitely interesting plot but at slow pace

I truly enjoyed watching s2, s2 is better than s1,
It was funny to see dong-mi and ami fights and the professor ?? definitely the end that he deserves...ep 16 end is like wth..curious to know how they all ended up in that way...though the story line is good but im not sure if its fault of director or story writer...the story plot was told to users at a slow pace S1,S2 could have been combined into a single season. S1 first 8 eps are tooooo slow and not much story in it. Hope they'll make S3 worth all the time i have spent watching it.

This is the worst kdrama ending ever

I didnt like the ending of season 2. How did those three couples end up together. They didn't show how that happened. There should be a season 3. They have to explain how Sa Pi yon is marrying that guy!!!! She was interested in his brother, and she married his brother!!!they didn't even know each other. What the hell just happened?! And where's the kid BADA,??? how can she be with the engineer!! This makes no sense... and how did AMi go w the lawyer! They didn't even know each other. Its messed up..
Netflix is so bad at making kdrama endings!! Always have a cliffhanger. Netflix please don't make kdramas. Urgh this suck! The ending is so stupid

4th season

I'm so sad that there is not date for a 4th season, I feel terrible, upset this is the best drama ever. We need the 4th season. It can finish like that. I saw a season in one day. At first, I was mad because the change of actors but start to watch again and I couldn't help it and I fall in love once again. I think that a series need to be completed not matter what, is unfair for those Netflix costumers that are loyal. This happened before and is really unfair because you never know the end. I love Korean drama I really a fan. Please make 4th season.

What's with the ending

I enjoyed the 2 seasons except for the ending, which to me, made no sense whatsoever. I guess it was to give the viewer a chuckle and to think about all that had to happen in order for the big mix up in couples, but then when I see there will be a season 3, I am not really that interested in seeing how it all came to be. Curious also that they did not provide an ending for the professor and his girl, and the wife he left, a lot of time was spent on them, but no similar ending.
As for the characters, my favorite was Sa Pi Young. It is beyond me how someone could cheat on her. Not even thinking about how beautiful she is, but that she was the perfect wife and mother, and they had the perfect family. Why would a guy need to go somewhere else?
Overall, a pretty good watch, just a silly ending.
