What a hilarious ride!

So let me tell you first... it doesn't have anything special in the story coz it's pretty much a whole mess. Plus it is a very very low-budget drama so if you like beautiful sets, costumes, and all other things... then it's not the right place to find coz you'll be disappointed at the end of the day. It doesn't have anything which can count as great or amazing.
BUT it doesn't mean it's not worth watching. You just have to switch off your brain for a while and enjoy this hilarious ride, it's so funny and interesting. Five brothers what's say about them lol.. the twins nailed in their chemistry, and the kid haha I really liked him. And yeah hats off to FL for her expressions coz they were priceless.

So if you are looking just for fun.... and entertainment nothing more than that, then go for it!

As far as I know, there isn't a single other film/series that has polyandry in its plot.

I love how unique the story is and there honestly isn't one like it. I'm glad the advertisers and team took the show's quirk to heart when deciding the title. From the title; "Princess! You have five husbands" you already know what you're getting into when you start watching the show. The aspect of male royalty having multiple female lovers is a storyline that has been overused. It always seems like the girls just accept the fact they're sharing their husband but themselves can't so much as speak or look at another man in a normal level, so it's nice to see that scenario switched for a change; where the men are sharing their wife and they have to live in that reality as if it's normal.
Overall, everything about this was fun to watch, so I would absolutely recommend this for someone who would like to watch something different from "I love you and only you, Your Highness, so please let me sleep with you after you are done sleeping with your concubines, consorts and empress! I only have you in my heart 'till death!"
This story is very subtle too, bringing this new theme with humor.

Comedy With Cheap Humor and Racism

I like to watch shorter series in-between the bigger ones, so I decided to check this one out while waiting for more episodes on my other dramas. I thought the premise sounded quite promising. It's not every day that you see polyandry in a C-Drama, and a parody of the genre on top of that. I knew the drama was low-budget going into this, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad. It's bad for other reasons.

Parodies do not need to have any significant plot, but this drama really didn't have anything special going on, and everything is quite forgettable. I don't like to use the word cringe, but some of the humor is very lowbrow. The cutaway gag + music is used way too often and becomes very grating as you go on.

And then there's also the elephant in the room; the episode featuring a black character. What were they thinking when they decided to add a black woman to the cast, only to use her in and extremely racist context, making her a nanny character and joking about bleaching her skin?! She cries in joy when the other characters gift her with giant box of skin-whitening pills???

This was definitely the moment that ruined everything for me. I consider this drama to not be worth watching. There are plenty of comedy series out there that don't need to resort to racism to be funny.

Silly, goofy meta fun

If you want good acting, good writing, good costumes, good music and good set design, this is not the drama for any of that.

What this drama does have is zany humor, tongue in cheek meta jokesand a bouncy joie de vivre. It's goofy ridiculousness, like Monty Python. It plays with dramaland conventions in a mocking, insouciant way, while still maintaining some warmth and charm.

This is a good drama for people who enjoy absurdity and broad humor. It's lighthearted, often funny, sometimes irritating. Be aware that this is season one, the story is not complete.

A hilarious roller coaster (≧▽≦)

The idea is unique. In this drama it's the female who had a lot of husband, usually it's the other way around. But the storyline is nothing serious.
Like the title, it's about a Princess who married 5 Prince. It might sound complicated, but trust me, it doesn't! The 5 Prince had their own quirk and attitude, so the Princess need to learn to get along with them that was a humorous journey. There's some little twist and turns throughout the story, but it's also a funny one.

It might be a mini drama, but the comedic timing, sound effects, character's expression, and even editing/animation are perfectly done!
I hope there's season 2.

Overall, it's a wholesome short drama, made me laugh from the beginning to the end.
I'd recommended if you want to watch something light and hilarious!

A different type of comedy more a parody

I truly enjoyed this Drama. It was definitely different from any other show I've seen. It's sort of a satire stupid-funny (mean no harm) parody. So don't expect a high end costumes or sets that is what makes it even funnier.
The storyline is about a girl who was made a princess by the king and picked to be the peace making bride between states and sent away. On the way her entourage was attacked and killed by bandits then robbed and rescued by the 2nd prince. Once she meets the king she announces herself due to everyone died, the king then introduces her to his 5 sons which she thinks she has to pick1, but king states she's is actually marrying all 5(25, 23, 21(twins)9). And this is the beginning of her getting to know each of them as she has to sleep in each room but makes it known she'll not sleep with any of until a year to hear back from her king if she will cause any bad conductas her state you can only have 1 husband and it takes. 6mo there and back. If a must see super funny
There is a season 2

Now.. as you can guess from the title, it is polyandrous, so I know some of you might not feel adventurous enough to check it out (unless you're a reverse harem freak like me, then I don't need to worry about you, comrade!)

Everything is purely comical, nothing sexual and there's sprinkles of romance here and there, but it's more of a comedy than romance. it's a light watch so I recommend it.
but just to let you know there was 1 problematic part which lasted about 1 second, I don't know why they felt the need to add that part which was unfunny and unneeded, the episode would've been much better without it.

I scored the music low because there wasn't anything outstanding, however I liked there wasn't any spoilers in opening (that's a first in cdrama lol! maybe because it's short)

I gave the Acting 6/10 because of the child actor haha I loved his "side-eye glare" you'll know what I mean once you watch it

it's called 'Prince Consort, Please Advice' on Viki and it's 12 Eps, the duration of the eps varies around 12 - 19 mins with only ep 9 & 12 about 25 - 29 mins.
the drama also announced there'll be a season 2.

Eccentric and ridiculous but fun

I've never seen a drama quite like this one. It's so bad that it's actually really good. It's pure comedy, breaking the 4th wall (actors addressing the camera), and even has a mystery plot towards the end involving the female lead.

The drama is a compilation of short clips (around 4 minutes each) put together to create somewhat of a storyline. A princess goes to a far away Kingdom as a peace-making marriage but upon her arrival finds out that the Kingdom's tradition involves marrying all the brothers. The five brothers all have distinguished personalities and play off well with the female lead. There is no real romance aside from some cute interactions with the first and second prince.

Overall I quite enjoyed this drama, it's pretty much like a 3 hour movie and I watched it in two sittings. The strongest point of the drama is the relationship between the brothers and the princess. They were some boring bits when the main focus wasn't the relationships but external storylines. If the whole drama was purely focused on the relationships I feel like I would have enjoyed it way more.

If you want something lighthearted, funny and no-brainer drama to pass the time, you will definitely like this.

Crack Humour, Perfect Marks for the Commitment!

I. Introduction
This drama is proof that if the production team commits to the theme, no matter how ludicrous the storyline is or how substandard the costume looks, the drama can still score almost perfect marks. Everything, from the characters' names to the plot to the costumes and makeup to the music, was eccentric crack. Zhangsun Wuhen (the FL, whose name is literally 'eldest grandson no hatred') is granted the title Commandery Princess and sent to Xiangxiong (literally, Elephant Bear) for a political marriage. After 3 years, she arrives in Xiangxiong alone as her entourage has been beaten and eaten by monsters during the journey. There, she finds out that Xiangxiong practises polyandry in addition to polygyny, and thus, she is to marry all 5 brothers of the Kun family: Prime Minister Nima Yixi, Defence General Heima Renzeng (literally, 'black horse, increasing benevolence'), businessman Duojin Zhandui (literally, 'lots of gold, to possess heaps'), top idol Baima Jiacuo (literally, 'white horse, excellent measures'), and child prodigy Gaerben Dalongwajiong (literally, 'karma you fool, attain (and) gather distant roof tiles'). The FL tries to strategise a way out of the polygamous marriage, but in the meantime she must comply with Xiangxiong's laws.

I enjoyed this drama so much because of its constant subversion of expectations. The writing team took every single costume, political-marriage-themed drama and inverted the plot points, resulting in a highly entertaining work product. Because they fully committed to the crack humour theme, every scene is judge by that standard and no mistake could be found.

II. Story and Plot
The drama mostly focusses on the FL's daily life being married to the 5 brothers. There really isn't a single plot thread connecting the episodes, and each episode could be watched in isolation of the others without much mental gymnastics. Some episodes are pure crack (subverting common palace romance/ palace intrigue tropes) while others are sardonic about modern day politics and society. In the first few episodes, it would appear that the 5 brothers are not too pleased about having the FL as their wife but this is later negated. In episode 5 they sweetly cheer her up after realising she may be homesick, and episode 9 hints that there was a reason the FL is chosen as the political marriage victim. In episode 11, the truth is revealed. Episode 12 leaves an opening for season 2, but considering this was aired in 2021, I hold zero hopes for a second season.

III. Characters
ZXB is a FL who is trying to navigate life being essentially a political hostage in a foreign nation, while LBY, WHX, YHM, LMJ, and PJQ are parodies of the male leads in costume/ palace romance dramas.
Here's the thing: ZXB, LBY, WHX, YHM, LMJ are all very good looking people in real life/ other dramas. Due to the concept of this drama, certain aspects of their facial features were magnified to create cartoonish images. The only one who looks normal in this drama is PJQ as Gaerben Dalongwajiong. In terms of acting chops, kudos must be given to the cast; they fully committed to the theme and delivered not just cracked pots but pots smashed to smithereens.

IV. Production Aspects
Production oscillates between seriously good quality investments, e.g., the FL's costumes, the Xiangxiong queen's costumes, and the animated parts, and seriously cheap quality trash, e.g., Heima Renzeng's costume, the Xiangxiong king's costume, the Xiangxiong imperial greeting room. The theme song plays up the crack pot humour.

V. Conclusion
If you need something light-hearted, easy to watch, this is the drama for you. However, do not expect any intelligence from it, as the production team was clearly taking the mickey out of everything and everyone, and in some episodes, highly un-PC-ed (unpolitically-corrected).

First impressions

This drama is so funny, crazy, ironic and refreshing!
Not the usual Princess story!
All characters are quite well suited by casting.
I think that the way third prince act is a bit strange to any standards.
Fifth Prince ( the Kid) is really good and surprising by his intelligence and maturity.
I think that Princess is so good at her role and so far I have a feeling that the First Prince is really smitten by her, but trying to not show off his feelings !
I'm looking forward to the next episodes, it makes me laugh and helps to survive during those times we live in.
