Amazing!!!!
Omg!!! I have been waiting for this series since they announced it. It has my to favorite BL actors Tommy and Jimmy and now a third who is Korean. The story is really sad trying to find out how he died. His mother doing everything in her power to fine the truth about her sons death. I’m so glad they made a BL series with Thai and Korean. Just amazing!! I can’t wait for episode 8. :). Big big fan!!!!! I can’t believe it’s so close to the ending already. Great work! I need more!!!!! Lol!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting, but flawed
Peach of Time arrived on the scene at the end of the summer of 2021, which, at least for me, had aired (mostly) one disappointing BL after another. I was excited after Episode 1, as this appeared to be a series with more quality and on a higher level than previous series. After three or four weeks after excitedly anticipating each episode, my interest began to wane. By the end, my feeling was "okay... might as well tune in to see how this all turns out." Here are my pros and cons:PROS:
THEME. The supernatural theme is an interesting one which, of course, has been explored in BL before (i.e., He's Coming to Me). This one had a different feel to it... more dramatic.
MUSIC. Really great! Yoon Oh (sorry, I forgot the actor's name) has a great singing voice. (And an alluring speaking voice as well.)
ACTING. The boys were all okay. But big kudos to the actress who played Yoon Oh's mom, she was a real pro and elevated the whole series.
CONS:
STORY. Too many scenes showing Peach publicly conversing with Yoon Oh and/or Mario. Anyone witnessing this would think Peach was batshit crazy (talking to himself), but no one batted an eye. I never fully understood the Mario character... what happened to him at the end? There were some other wtf moments interspersed throughout the series.
That's pretty much it. Pretty sure I'll forget about this one in time. The ending was open-ended, which might suggest a sequel, but I don't feel we really need one. What would it even be about? I suppose it could be more about Mario, but does anyone really care?
7.5/10 for me. It's that high because it started out very well.

I'm Impressed
Okay so if y'all gonna bash the show for not having logic then please what else do you expect from a fantasy show. I mean like come on you already knew what you're watching. How do you imagine a show that has a "ghost as it's main lead" to have science and logic.I loved it. It was so good. Unlike some other bls it did have some story and twists. It wasn’t cringe. It was not hard to watch. It had many sides. I loved the story. Though it was hard to believe but that was inevitable.
The actors were damn good. They Didn't overdo it like in other thai bls. I liked the chemistry a lot. Peach and Yoon-Oh had the perfect casting.
Both of them were good enough in reflecting their own cultures which was really fascinating. Also the side characters were great too.
Jimmy's acting improved significantly. Like I didn’t like his acting much in "Why R U" but this one? He totally nailed the character. You could see the emotions in his eyes. Jae-Hyun was perfect too. I wonder if they have a good friendship in real life too. I'm too invested in them.
Also I was never really a fan of Jimmy-Tommy ship. I've always felt like Tommy was too old for Jimmy as a partner specially cause they portrayed same aged characters in most of the series and Jimmy looked way young than Tommy lol. So I loved this ship more.
Jae-Hyun and Jimmy made a hella hot couple. And I would love to see more of their works together.

please realese season 2!
Mindset it's a romance fantasy drama!⭐Story
These dramas show how deep connection
'Between the devil and the deep sea'
(between two equally bad alternative; in a dilemma)
'A friend in need is a friend indeed'
(a friend who helps when one is in trouble is a real friend)
'Love has no boundaries'
(it exists beyond border or culture or distance or death etc)
'True love is sacrifice'
(that you have to give things up if you want to be with the one you love)
'Blood is thicker than water'
(the ties of relationship are real)
'Let by gones be bygones'
(forgive and forget the past)
'Meeting the right person at the wrong time'
(we feel like missing out the good. when all the factors don't come together to create the outcome we desire, for one reason or another, we don't get what we want and this creates feelings of loss, grief, regret and even hostility).
⭐Acting/Cast
Even if Korean-Thai leading couples (choijaehyun&jimmy) seem to get along together and come with a perfect combination of sensitivity and charms but both of them find it difficult to achieving intimancy and get closer in their relation.
Commonly the result of problems such as communication issues(language barrier) and conflict biggest shipper couple stars (jimmy&tommy) on same drama series.
The thoughts and feelings for (choijaehyun&jimmy) leading couples like 'Meeting the right person at the wrong time' both them has limited interaction with each other.
Anyway, the casting was just way too perfectly cast. The emotions the cast member was able to convey were outstanding. As we know, majority played are rising star, professional and experience cast.
Choi Jae Hyun(Yoon Oh) is an actor, played Dan Ah's step-brother in drama Run On. He participated in the Mnet and tvN reality series Boys24.
Jung Ae Yun(Yoon Oh's mother) debuted as a theater actress, starred in drama The Devil Judge.
Kim Hye Na(Kim Soo Jin) is an actress has starred in Psychopath Diary.
Ahn Da Bi(Bang Shin Ji) is an actress has starred in Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.
Yoon Hee Seok(Yoo Jung Sub) is an actor has starred in Flower of Evil. In 2008, he won One Act Series Actor Award at the KBS Drama Awards for his leading role in You Stole My Heart.
Event to this day, all their drama remains highest Korean series. For more info please check cast members experience.
All I can say, generally i'm feeling fucking sad emotional and had terrible butterflies but the acting and performances by the cast is what makes this drama worth watching.
⭐Music
Anyway an advantage for who can understand the meaning of all the original soundtrack first. It's also make you able to understand situation or feelings and appreciate the story more.
Best original soundtrack based on storyline. All the songs gives me uncontrolled emotion, goosebumps every time I listen to it and relate with storyline.
⭐ Rewatch Value
While the storyline can be messy and confusing some part maybe there is a wanted to rewatch or replays it again. However because the meaningfully dialogue, a romantic conversation and great soundtrack makes that are worth watching for a second or even a third time.
⭐Overall
At first glance, the leading couples Korean-Thai (choijaehyun&jimmy) is bottom line disturbing.
Perhaps because the drama stars Thai lineup (jimmy&tommy) two of the biggest shipper couple stars and already have their own fandom.
But then again, (jimmy&tommy) the couples with great chemistry was such a hit because both of them share past and future project couples together.
Despite their both (jimmy&tommy) make claims to gain experience and not argue why they not to be a leading couples together on Peach of Time drama series but audience know what viewers want and stick to it.
Meanwhile these first SouthKorea-Thailand bromance boy love genre drama series that broke through to international audiences not become global hits and are well-appreciated by both viewers and critics compared to normally happens on bromance korean drama series.
Some may be surprised that the drama series was lack of drama promotions, just so so star rating reviews and not much sharing from viewers after a month it aired.
Overall, this greatest bromance boy love romance fantasy drama series with sweet and soft love romance that are way better than hottest sex scene excerpts in normally happens on bromance boy love drama. So enjoy this collection that combine two country SouthKorean-Thailand.

A decent ghost-human love story!!!
It was a simple drama. I wish it had more episodes. The character build up was good. I wished to see more. I felt it could have been more romantic at times. It was a good drama, very relaxing, a bit different from other BL dramas. Thai and Korean combination did work out very well. Language did not become a problem. If some prequel episodes were there it would have been better. The acting cast were good. Things could have been improved so the drama would have been the best...Anyway binge watching this drama would be a good option. Overall a good drama.....!!!

Something Missing
Like most people, I'm here cause Thai BL actors Tommy and Jimmy lol I also couldn't pass up the rare international coupling. Anyway, so the story was all the way there! Definitely not cliché or tacky. It actually had a story I hadn't seen before and even though it had an inevitable ending, I can't help but feel something's missing... Not sure what though. Longer eps probably would've helped a bit. lol Overall it was really sweet and heartfelt. Lessons can be learned from this and that's the best part of drama's like this.I'd recommend to anyone who wants some light BL.
Enjoy...

It really worked for me, but I understand how it might not work for everybody
I was very surprised when I saw that the reaction to this series has been very much mixed. I really enjoyed Peach of Time, even though I had been spoiled about the ghost part of the story.I’m personally not much of a crier overall, but this show got me hard. I cried a bit with other shows, like Andante and He’s Coming to Me, but that happened mostly in the ending of both series. With PoT, I cried from espied 3 to episode 10 at least once in each episode. That’s a record. I don’t think the “mystery” aspect would reduce the rewatch value.
For me, something that works well in this drama is that we only have 4 main characters, so we just need to introduce side characters to help develop the 4 stories we have to follow. I enjoyed Mario’s story as much as I did Peach and Yoon Oh’s story. The mom’ story was not bad, but I felt it for a bit forced in bit forced in to connect everything, specially regarding Yoon Oh’ death. I understand that the journey the mom goes through, when he think her son might have committed suicide because of her, was important to her development and for their relationship. But the way it’s connected to the dad from the hospital was the weak point of the show for me. I would have preferred if it ended up being just an accident. Just like the mom says, some deaths don’t have an explanation or reason.
The acting is superb. All 4 main actors are great in their roles, specially Tommy as Mario. Tommy shines in both the lighthearted and heavier scenes. I know this is not the most popular opinion, but I felt like the chemistry between Jimmy and Choi Jae Hyun worked. I think it worked well for how shy/awkward, but obviously in love, Yoon Oh and Peach are with each other.
Yes, the ending is very open and a bit abrupt. It does look like a cliffhanger for a potential second season. In that aspect, I understand how it might feel like it’s not a fulfilling ending for many. It didn’t bother me too much, but at least it gives hope for them to meet again.

I placed a potential spoiler at the end of this review.Has a beautiful and heartfelt storyline about being careful with your own actions and words with loved ones. It has an excellent script with a few exceptions. There are a few discrepancies in it, but not enough to distract you from the series. They did a great job interweaving the two different languages which is not easy. The acting was wonderful and they did an awesome job interacting with each other.
******Potential Spoiler Alert******
My only criticism is the ending. It was too ambiguous and was a bit of a letdown.

Great Collaboration between Thai and Korean BL!
Starts off shaky, but from the second episode the drama starts to make sense.Honestly, I wish there was more than 10 episodes because this left me wanting more.
I'll go into detail in a bit, but I would like to say that the other reviews about Peach of Time and it's plot holes are valid.
However, I feel like most of the issues could be resolved with a few more episodes rather than the 10 we were given.
Peach of Time is a good drama with too many ideas and too little episodes.
STORY:
Yoon Oh is a Korean boy who is retaking his college entrance exam for the 4th time. Yoon Oh's mother also seems to resent his birth. On his way home from his job an accident happens. Peach, Yoon Oh's Thai friend arrives in Korea two weeks later. Peach stays at Yoon Oh's home and catches up with Yoon Oh and his mother. A few days later Peach receives a box meant for Yoon Oh's mother. When he accidently drops the box the contents spill out revealing the freighting news that Yoon Oh had unfortunately passed away. Shocked and surprised Peach runs away from the ghost of Yoon Oh, who is also shocked and scared of this revelations. While running away from Yoon Oh, Peach finds Mario, a Thai man who he had bumped into at Yoon Oh's place. Mario reveals himself to be a ghost and tells Peach he must help Yoon Oh solve the deep sorrow in his heart, so he can rest in peace. If Peach cannot help Yoon Oh than he might turn into a bad spirit and never be able to rest in peace.
Peach of Time definitely has a unique concept in BL. While it's not the first to tackle the ghost boyfriend troupe, the troupe is still new in live action BLs. (Only manga and anime have done ghost boyfriends in the world of BL.) He's Coming to Me and Y Destiny are the only two BLs that have tried to tackle this troupe. (That I'm aware of.) While Peach of Time is similar to the others, with the human trying to help his ghost boyfriend solve his issues so he can rest in peace; Peach of Time is also different because Peach and Yoon Oh were friends before his death and Yoon Oh didn't even know he was dead. There is also the issue of Yoon Oh's relationship with his mother and whether or not his death was a suicide because of his mother. Yoon Oh's mother also has issues of her own, ranging from her guilt over Yoon Oh and the malpractice issue over the girl in the hospital. Mario also has a small side story of his own.
As amazing as Peach of Time is for tackling all of the drama, it only has 10 episodes, each being only 30 minutes long. As a result, there were quite a few plot holes and many important scenes were missing or brushed over. At a glance, the story wrapped up nicely and it's possible to over look the plot holes, but if you were really enjoying the drama, you would have many questions.
As I said earlier, this drama has too many ideas and too little episodes. This resulted in a very rushed first episode. There was no build up for Yoon Oh before bringing in the drama with his mother, so it was frustrating to get through the first episode. We didn't care enough for Yoon Oh to entertain his mommy issues. Peach also randomly showed up in Korea speaking Thai, confusing everyone about whether he was Yoon Oh's boyfriend or just a friend. It really wasn't until the last 5 minutes of the first episode that you learn about Yoon Oh and Peach. Personally, I wish they gave us some background into Yoon Oh and Peach's relationship before the present. I literally had to go back to rewatch the first episode again just to understand and care about Yoon Oh's issues. From the second episode, the drama continues on rather smoothly because we now have some background into the characters. However, I wish we had time to look into how Peach and Yoon Oh met, their relationship before Yoon Oh's death, Yoon Oh's childhood/background with his mother, Yoon Oh being bullied (since they show that as a reason he couldn't step out of the resort), what exactly happened with Yoon Oh's mother and father, as well as what happened with the malpractice issue, the actual conclusion to Yoon Oh's death since it wasn't a suicde, Mario's background with Soo Jin, what happened with Mario after he made up with Soo Jin/ did he rest in peace, and Peach moving on after Yoon Oh. All of these things were big plot points, but got skimmed over by the conclusion of the drama. It would have been great to see it, but the drama was still decent, even with the plot holes.
KOREA/ THAILAND CROSSOVER:
Peach of Time is a crossover drama between Korea and Thailand, so you do get the best of both worlds. The drama itself takes more inspiration from Korea. It has the stereotypical hateful mother, chebol doctors covering malpractice, police detectives that are inadequate at their jobs, and a beautiful love story between two very hot leads. The only thing Thailand seemed to contribute to the crossover was Jimmy and Tommy, two amazing Thai BL actors. However, there is no complaints in the crossover because Korea is known for better dramas, but Thailand does have a more prolific BL fanbase. It was great to see the two Thai actors stepping up their acting to match the high level of Korean dramas.
If there is any complaints about the crossover, it would be that it's a Korean drama. There is no juicy scenes... aside from Jimmy randomly being topless while Jaehyun is always clothed. I personally am okay without the bed scenes since they do sometimes make me uncomfortable, but the kissing is very Korean. It's not really a big problem, but it's a little unrealistic and stoic. Aside from that I loved the Korea/Thailand crossover. I would love to see more crossovers like this with more experienced actors. While Jimmy and Tommy are great actors, they did seem a but stiff compared to the Korean actors. It's not a big issue because they are still good actors, but what if we had great or amazing Thai actors along side the Korean actors. I could name a few that I would like to see in these Korea/Thailand crossovers, but since they aren't in this film, I won't mention them.
Peach & Yoon Oh
Peach and Yoon Oh were an odd couple in the beginning, but as the story goes on they grow onto you. Peach is constantly this ray of sunshine that is not only good looking, but also very kind. Yoon Oh is the polar opposite being more stoic and moody. He has a lot of issues to deal with and his home life isn't great, so it's understandable, but as he hangs out with Peach we see a different side of him. Around Peach, he is caring, attentive, and a bit clingy. All of his good qualities are reserved for Peach and he still has his shell around others, also he softens enough to understand his mother by the end of the series.
Peach and Yoon Oh are a cute couple. I wish we could have seen more of them having fun. The main focus of the series is Yoon Oh's issues and solving them, so they usually are having deep talks. It's only the last few episodes were Yoon Oh and Peach start acting like a couple because they actually have time to act like a couple. However, all the scenes the have together, cute or not, it really shows that Peach cares for Yoon Oh and Yoon Oh only has Peach. I wish Yoon Oh didn't die, but if Yoon Oh wasn't dead I'm not too sure how they would have ended up dating. Unless Peach grew a pair, Yoon Oh would have been oblivious for a while since he seemed to be stressed over his mother before his death.
Yoon Oh & His Mother
Oh, the drama. I really feel bad for the both of them as clearly his mother loves Yoon Oh, but she failed to show it. After his death she was living in so much guilt, she went the extra mile to prove his didn't commit suicide. Yoon Oh was the target of her emotional abuse and didn't have a great life because of it. His only moments of happiness seemed to be when he wasn't with her. It's sad that they couldn't make up with each other in life, but through Peach they come to understand each other. While his mother started off as the typical hateful mother in Kdramas, she actually was a complex character and I enjoyed watching her on screen.
Mario & Soo Jin
I was so curious about Mario since he was a random character that seemed to just show up out of nowhere. At first, I was confused by his appearance, but as he began to help Yoon Oh and Peach, I began to get curious about him. He had an interesting backstory of dying in a fire and waiting as a ghost for 20 years. Right when we thought we would get an answer to his storyline, nothing happened. He found his long lost love, Soo Jin, and they had a moment together, so shouldn't he have rested in peace? I'm so confused. I love that Mario found Soo Jin, but after she was introduced nothing happened. Even the ending with Mario is so strange. Mario deserves to rest in peace!
OVERALL:
Peach of Time is a nice drama. I wish there was more. While it's not perfect, it's definitely a good drama to watch. I honestly think if this drama was around 20 episodes or so and all of the plot holes could be fixed, it would have been the best BL of the year.

I wanted to like this....
Honestly, I really wanted to like this series. The actors are stunningly handsome and are very good actors, really. But this story had so man logical flaws in it, that it was hard to really like. Also, I never bought their relationship as I did not see much chemistry between the two main actors. If you are going to have young guys supposedly in love, show us. Give us something relatable and understandable so we can see they are is something related to romance. There is also no need for side-stories that frankly go nowhere and are meant to pull at heartstrings. The premise of this story is good; it is just executed with too much meandering with no clear focus. Was this review helpful to you?
A story of loss and letting go
This drama deals with loss and letting go. To me, this is the single line summary of the series. I will first write about the positives and negatives (my opinion!) and then how it made me feel.Positives:
The drama tried to tackle the difficult issues of death, loss, despair, guilt, trauma and finally of letting go. A very complex set of subjects to deal with in the first place. This drama delves into super-natural and narual worlds to deal with it. It has main lead dead characters (who show up as ghosts) and also main lead alive characters. So it is a unique plot and a perspective which is uncommon. The story has quite a few very touching moments about guilt and letting go that was hard to watch as they brought out raw emotions on screen.
The drama does not put the same sex relationhisp at the center of the narrative. It is important but not the main focus. The subject matter is.
The actors playing Yoon Oh's and his mother's role did a phenomenol job. Also the actor playing the role of Mr. Yu. The rest of the team did an OK job, nothing special.
The OST's were good.
The produciton quality was also acceptable.
Negatives:
The story has many loop holes in terms of plot. It is a fantacy drama with ghots and humans and suspension of rational logic is necessary yet the execution of the supernaturals was sloppy. Even in this make believe world there needed to be more rationals of why certian things were happening and others were not. There was none given.
When the drama ended many issues were not resolved or unanswered, which in general is not bad. But for this show it left a feeling of incompleteness.
The chemistry between the main lead was not steller. The more convincing chemistry was between the mother and the son.
My feelings:
TBH, I have mixed feeling about this. I very much enjoyed some parts and others not so much. And the quantity seems almost equal. I appreciate the difficult subject matter. Many scenes brought tears to my eyes got me seriously thinking about loss and letting go. And I always enjoy a drama/movie which makes me think about things which I generally don't. So for that I laud this drama.
But the execution was lazy. This drama could have been far better if only a bit more attention were given to details and setting up the premises of the make believe world. One of the main lead's acting was average and that made the drama not such an enjoyable watch.
Also the ending wsa not quite well done. I do not want to give spoilers but the drama, in my opinion, did not need the last 2 minutes.
I must mention again how beautifully and convincingly the actors who played Yoon Oh and his mother's role played their characters. For their scenes only I can rewatch the drama.
So over all I say, watch it with caution. One can find beautiful moments and also can be supremely frustrated.

Talk about a peach on the butt.
What we have here is an interesting project where actors (people) from 2 different countries work on a project. It was really an interesting concept, I will not lie. Reminds me when actors from my country and Thailand also worked on a movie together. It’s called Suddenly It's Magic. It stars Mario Maurer from Thailand and Erich Gonzales from the Philippines. I’d suggest you guys check that one out.So… regarding Peach of Time…
Lack of chemistry, oh, my god! I’m going to word vomit this! If the mother new that Yoon Oh’s spirit was just there the whole time, why didn’t she take advantage of that fact? All the drama could’ve really been resolved if they made the plot more congruent. Unfortunately it was so messy. Can’t anyone notice that Peach keeps on looking at empty spaces? And I’m sorry, but Yoon Oh was a little whiney bítch. Talk about good god get a grip, boy! I got more feels from Tommy’s character, and his was a hetero couple which I’m dead tired of. So that tells you it’s really bad. I liked the effort of the production, but it had so many problems. And what was that ending! Did Tommy’s character just disappear? He didn’t really have a proper ending! Major eye roll.
P.S. Tommy is still my cute little boy from Why R U! Love him always!
