They should have just made a 1 ep special with the new stuff.
I love 2gether. It was the first of the modern thai BL series that i got into because of the pandemic. I say modern BL cause the first thai BL i got into was Love of Siam. Anyways, 2gether and still 2gether hold a special place in my heart. And after watching other BLs from around the world after 2gether, i've realized that there are far better quality BLs than 2gether, but again, Sarawat/Tine still had a special place in my heart. So when they said a movie was in the works, i was hoping for a continuation of the story with a better budget and production akin to like Gameboys the movie or Hello Stranger the movie (both of which upped the production, story and everything from its original series). Unfortunately, 2gether the movie is 90% a recap of the series we already know, with footage from the series stitched together as a montage with new voice overs to give more context, and for 10% parts that were new was probably shot all on a single day.
I know the 2gether stans may seem like this sounds harsh but im just speaking honestly. This was utterly disappointing. It was like someone took the original source material and decided to make a fluffy fanfic epilogue/conclusion. I skimmed through the whole movie and watch the last bits and it felt unsatisfying. And this earned a Thai cinematic theater release? This just felt like a low effort cash grab. It felt almost like a slap in the face to the fans. They could have done a single ep special with just the new stuff and it would have achieved this conclusion just the same, if not better. Ill prob get flamed for this, but again, im just speaking honestly.

Previously on 2gether...
This will be short. I think it goes without saying, but this movie is, pretty much, exclusively for people that have watched the two series of 2gether. It’s basically a “previously on 2gether” followed by 10 minutes of new content. With that being said, I like the ending. Was that a marriage proposal? I’m not 100% sure. I see it more as a commitment to stay together as life partners. I’m glad they didn’t go all out and tried to put an actual wedding at the end.The movie obviously is focused on telling the story of Tine and Sarawat, and how they ended up a couple, with all the highs and lows. For that reason, the side couples just… get together without much explanation in the movie. Since, as I mentioned before, the target audience knows everything about how Man/Type and Mil/Phukong ended up together, that’s not a problem. I really liked the final song.
The movie receives extra points for the cute baby and puppy at the end.

Sara-WHAT A Waste of My TINE!
Unfortunately, that genuinely felt like a waste of my money and time. It was basically a review class on the original series with a few clips from Still 2gether and an added graduation scene. Quite underwhelming and so disappointing, but really thinking about it, I’m ultimately not really surprised. This is from the company that gave us trauma over a high five. Still no real kiss, and of course, always a tease. So I guess true to form?Really not much else to say. We’re really not working with much. If they only went the extra mile and actually made it more realistic, it really would have been a fantastic ending. But as expected, they’re still obviously straight actors intimidated with acting “real” gay. So sad.
P.S. if you want a BL movie experience that’s not disingenuous to its original series/fans, please, please check out Gameboys: The Movie (and Gameboys the series as well). That’s a BL movie done right. :))

that being said, this didn't make me feel like i "got my bang for the buck..." it's was meeh, as remembered everything and it (ironically) was rewatching something i'd seen, so nothing new or riveting let alone butterfly inducing this time around, which can be seen as a plus or a minus depending on the viewer - it left me passive. (yeah the hinted proposal was cute, but was waiting/more curious to see the parents reacting and that came to not ).
will say enjoyed seeing Tine, and think after watching countless drama's, rewatching the edited footage emphasized how good of an actor he is - cause watching this - it was evident that i loved his character not only cause the actor is good-looking, sweet and charming. but cause he Can act. and cause of that, his character was not only more relatable, but likeable.
this was fine for a one off - wish the majority wasn't the past and there was more of a plot to this movie, then the little we got at the end. that didn't amount to anything other then a vague "happily ever after".

The vast majority of the movie was very much told in a recap-video style manner by the two MLs over the events that occurred in "2gether" and "Still 2gether." The first half of "2gether" is told from Tine's narrative point of view, while the second half of "2gether" were told from Sarawat's POV. The events of "Still 2gether" (as well as all of the support couples) were more of a montage than a recap and I think Sarawat continued narrating into this segment. I say "I think" because it seemed like they either got different actors for the narration (which I couldn't find support of in the credits) or purposefully made them sound different. This entire narration is told while the leads are getting ready for their graduation ceremony - which we are reminded of by a handful of intermission scenes between recapped plot arcs, and at the end which is all new content.
The analysis:
Among the recap scenes, I think a handful of moments were either edited or used alternate takes in such a way to provide a slightly different emphasis that reflected the narrated inner monologues of the characters. Thankfully, this recapping also eliminated the more cringe-y scenes that I hated from the drama. But, Tine's inner monologue was even more narcissistic in nature than the drama had presented him at the beginning. Nor did some of these thoughts seem true to the longer scene versions and context from the drama. It made it seem like Tine was narrating the lies/excuses he was telling himself, making him a mildly unreliable narrator at times (from my reading of the character in the full drama). Also, for new viewers, the suddenness at which characters appeared at key moments in the recap may be confusing, as they would largely be missing beforehand.
Of course, it's not "2gether" without the Scrubb-centric soundtrack. And because of the recap-like glazing over the content, this felt more fluffy and nostalgic than the previous versions. And, like i said, the exclusion of the most cringe-y scenes was much appreciated as a viewer. However, "Still 2gether" being my favorite part of the franchise, I'm a little sad that they basically turned it into a montage. I also think that there would have been more value if we had Sarawat narrating over the beginning half of 2gether, since we know so little about his perspective in this portion of the story.
Overall, this is decent. Fans may like to compare scenes and have explicit intel into characters' thoughts. The overarching story surrounding the recapping was cute. Non-fans might appreciate being in-the-know without having to sit through the entire franchise (so long as they are okay with not knowing quite how everything and everyone fits).

Kind of a Repeat
I was so looking forward for this to come out, and I was a little disappointed, in the sense that they basically recapped the to series and narrated the movie, I had expected a much more understanding of the things between them, and see how they grew from where there were to was happened.Nevertheless Bright and Win still extremely hot and considering I am watching them in the ongoing F4 you can see such a difference in there characters etc ...
So there is not much to say for this review, I do suggest watching the series instead though. The ending for me was awesome, still trying to figure out if that was a marriage proposal or a life long commitment (thinking)
The movie obviously is focused on telling the story of Tine and Sarawat, and how they ended up a couple, with all the highs and lows. For that reason, the side couples just… get together without much explanation in the movie. Since, as I mentioned before, the target audience knows everything about how Man/Type and Mil/Phukong ended up together, that’s not a problem. I really liked the final song.

They wanted an easy check, and so they gave you bi*ches crumbs
It's genuinely insulting that a 112 min clip show was called a "movie" and released in theaters: the BL equivalent of "let them eat cake".I wasn't expecting much from this so-called "movie" but damn, even the new sequences were awfully uninspired. Forgetful, at best. Probably shot in one whole day. There was no intimacy or developing story whatsoever. BrightWin didn't even try. They showed up to murmur a few lines and collect a paycheck. It was a criminal disrespect to the show that built their flourishing careers.
The worst part about this "movie" isn't how it's not much of a movie at all. The real tragedy is that this glorified flashback episode wasn't universally criticized to the extent that the staff and crew issued a public apology. GMMTV should be bullied into never doing something like this again.

Not a real movie just a summary of S1&S2
At first I thought it was going to be a short recap I was very wrong the entire “Movie” apart from the few minutes at the start and end are new but the rest was old clips from previous episodes. I was very disappointed they should not have called this a movie. I hope they actually do come out with a real movie not what ever I just watched. As a 2gether fan I was really sad the trailer made it seem like this movie was going to be about getting married maybe I am wrong and if I am I will are this down but as of now I am very confused. I will look around to see if what I watched was wrong or the actual movie.

Trip down memory lane made into a YouTube compilation video
#I wasn't really surprised that it was more of a summarization of both seasons 1 and 2........# Shortened but has highlighted and important parts. In the end, Sarawat and Tine’s magic lives on, and it’s one we can always come back to anytime we want to understand again how love is truly universal and encompassing.
#The film presents more of Sarawat’s point of view in retelling his magical love story with Tine.
#It is sad that the studio, director and the actors decided to swindle the fans' loyalty by producing a below par film.

Nothing happened?!
We got like 20 minutes of new footage with nothing really happening. We simply get to see where everyone ended once the boys graduate, that's it. It's mostly just a recap of everythign that happened during the two season of the series. This makes it hard for me to rate! I like the acting, but with there being no new story and mostly just old footage, there is no story to judge or rate. Rewatch value - none, you can just watch the series and get the less choppy version of events. It's not a terrible movie, I enjoyed the new scenes, but with there being so little of them, I have almost nothing to judge or rate.

You can give this one a miss if you've seen the series
Hey, I love Sarawat and Tine. But the fact is that there’s really not much new or groundbreaking material in the movie edition.Much of the “movie” footage is a recap of what happened in 2gether and Still 2gether, coupled with narration. This is supposed to give the viewer a glimpse into Tine and Sarawat’s mind and what they were thinking at certain junctures. While it’s nice in theory, it falls flat in practice because there was nothing new or surprising that was revealed. Perhaps there simply isn’t very much left to expand on given the 2nd series.
While it promises a “complete edition” with extra scenes, these don’t really amount to much – maybe 20 minutes of new footage out of a 110 minute movie. This means that the extra scenes could really be a special episode at best, but frankly it could also have been a music video.

Recap!! ^^
It's just a recap in case you didn't know, it's nice to watch maybe after a while of watching the serie, to be honest I only watched the first few minutes then skipped to the end to see the new stuff haha (it was cute). I wouldn't recommend for people who don't feel like recapping most of the serie, but if you feel like getting a bit of nostalgia this I definitely for you. On the other hand I have loved this serie and will probably rewatch it someday, I hope you enjoyed the ride as well. Was this review helpful to you?
