melancholy and the music
This review was written in English and Portuguese.I think the strongest points of this show are the melancholy and the music, I'm actually happier with their performance improvement than satisfied with the show itself. I really hoped that 7 episodes would captivate and hold, but it's a weak show. The script, the story is so meaningless, but that's okay. I won't watch it again and I may even forget it in a few days, but I'll look for the ost on spotify and I'll listen a lot. I hope to see more of their performance in the future in a better story.
Eu acho que os pontos mais forte dessa serie são a melancolia e a musica, eu estou realmente mais feliz com a melhora de atuação deles que feliz com a serie em si. Realmente esperava que com 7 episódios cativasse e prendesse, mas ela é uma serie fraca. O roteiro, a historia é tão sem sentido, mas tá tudo bem. Não assistirei outra vez e pode ser até que eu esqueça em alguns dias, mas procurarei a ost no spotify e escutarei bastante. Espero ver mais da atuação dos dois no futuro em uma historia melhor.

A Disappointment
The acting in this is very good. Both leads do a good job. The OST is good, but overused on very high volume. It's filmed decently and the overall production quality is fine.But the story... it's a BL because of Ep 6, but that's about it. Other than that it's mostly two guys talking about their girlfriends, including the very last scene, which is between one of them and his girlfriend. BL has a weird obsession with straight guys.
I like slow-burn relationships, but there is really almost no burn at all - until suddenly they're on fire. The final episode was entirely getting in and out of cars and the gf meeting, and the ending was mystifyingly open. If you're going to make us slog through this, at least let's have a nice payoff, not an abrupt ending with no closure.
I really got no pleasure out of watching this and I can't recommend it.

Open ending
I liked this series ,a little disappointed with the end but overall it werent to bad un my opinion ?.I iked when they were practicing open mic on the balcony and Gerald does one called i found him? so obvious he was talking about Joshua ?.
I felt hes loved him for awhile from the looks he gives him sometimes especially when he was sleeping ,thought they were proper cute together,loved the way Gerald reassured him that they can try to be together when Joshua was in two minds after they slept together, thought that was sweet.
As i said kinda disappointed with the ending it seemed rushed and pointless ,where was the gf going after 2 years?what was that about lol.
Would be great if they did a season 2 just to open the story up more like Gerald and his gf and where Joshua and Geralds relationship is heading as it kinda ended with him trying to call him i think after he thought he left upset so that would be good to see,the other girl who was waiting outside and slap him because he didnt want him back,girl firstly id so slap u back ?and why were u even there acting werent all that soz but true.
Id watch it again if only for Gerald and Joshua and their singing?.

Two close friends, friends who have problems with their girlfriends and one of them quits his job, go on a trip of several days to relax mentally. Here, in a foreign environment and alone, the two of them will suddenly learn SOMETHING new, beautiful. Even though the story is rather simpler and free, I was interested in this. On the contrary, this series is also partly musical, and this component disappointed my sensitive musical ears. Perhaps only the theme song, although even there there is one false note, otherwise nothing worth "sin", which is why in this respect my rating for a musical product is ultimately the worst. I think that BoyBand Love was a little better musically, and I still play four songs from it in the car to this day.
Jsem moc rád, že ke Gus Villovi nevybrali nakonec tvůrci jeho skutečného přítele, se kterým hrál v pro mě moc hezkém hudebním seriálu BoyBand Love (máme jej zde uveden), ale vybrali sympoše Drei Ariase.
Dva blízcí přátelé, kamarádi, co mají problémy se svými přítelkyněmi a jeden z nich podá v práci výpověď, si vyjíždí na několikadenní výlet si psychicky vydechnout. Zde, v cizím prostředí a sami dva najednou po čase poznají NĚCO nového, krásného. I když je příběh spíše takový jednodužší a free, tak mě tímto zaujal. Naopak, tento seriál je částečně i hudebním, a tato složka mě mé citlivé hudební uši zklamala. Snad jen ta ústřední píseň, i když i tam je jeden falešný tón, jinak nic, co by stálo "za hřích", a proto je v tomto ohledu mé hodnocení u hudebního produktu nakonec nejhorší. Myslím si, že BoyBand Love byl hudebně přeci jen o něco lepší a čtyři písně z něj si dodnes pouštím v autě.

I really love this show, the characters work well together and so far SIAM hasn't let me down with bringing good things to life. I've watched a couple of their other shows and they seem to be getting better and better. This storyline isn't really like the others and I think that's what makes it so appealing. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long to see more, but it's good that they are rushing through to get episodes pushed out. It makes it all the more better when it arrives it's well worth the time put in.Was this review helpful to you?

Saan sana tayo sa himig ng musika?
Começo essa resenha lembrando que o mercado de séries BL nas Filipinas é relativamente novo, teve seu boom após o lançamento de “ Sakristan”, e se consolidou durante a pandemia, trazendo um novo formato de séries que mostravam basicamente interação remota entre os atores. Aparentemente isso pode parecer fácil, mas existe o desafio de conseguir mostrar a química entre eles sem o contato físico frequente. Com o boom desse mercado muitas séries de baixa produção foram lançadas, outras com melhor qualidade e bons atores de revelaram.Dito isso, chegamos em “Saan sana tayo sa himig ng musika?”, com dois protagonistas vindos de outras séries, portanto já conhecidos de boa parte do público, porém com um enredo diferente.
Não posso dizer que a fotografia é perfeita, mas achei muito legal que eles saíram da cidade e durante todo o percurso paravam pra admirar a natureza, e locais mais humildes, normalmente não explorados pelas séries.
Os dois atores juntos tem muita química, eles conseguem transmitir sentimentos através da atuação, e a construção da história, lentamente transformando amizade em amor foi feita de forma sutil, porém convincente. A ost também foi muito linda.
Minha única crítica é contra o final, onde surge uma ex vinda do além e estraga tudo, eu realmente espero que seja a deixa para uma segunda temporada.
