Lighting Up the Stars (2022)

In both films, the protagonists unintentionally end up needing to take care of a girl, and throughout the story they become their adoptive fathers.

Both highlight businesses that deal with the dead or people that have passed which is always a taboo.
Both are “slice-of-life” kinda genres

Not the same but the male lead in this drama is an event manager who manages lots of events including some funeral events.

This is a similar drama because the male lead in this drama is a funeral make-up artist and does the funeral business.

Although CofaBM has a boy kid lead & LUtS has a girl kid lead both kids express the need to belong to a strong male figure. Neither adult male character is thrilled @ taking on someone else's offspring, but love & acceptance grow. LUtS had me in tears....highly recommend.

Both of the little girls get adopted to a single man who has been through hardships. They both have cute girls as casts. If you liked one, you might like the other as well

Rough around the edges MLs with criminal pasts who turn their lives around because of a girl, "Man in love" is more of a romantic kind of relationship while "Lighting up the stars" is more of a father-daughter relationship , both slice of life dramas with a lot of deaths in them, both are tearjerkers...and they also have a similar vibe.

Both talk about funerary services, and generally the stories of people who live on as someone else passes away, and the relationships and dynamics in-between.

Both dramas deal around an adult that is looking after a small girl. Both dramas have family, finding family and growing on one another as themes. Both are wonderful, heart warming dramas.

Both are very good movie. Both has to do with treating dead body with dignity. Gave the living family and loveone a comfort and closure. Story not exactly the same, they are both beautiful in their own way

Creators most likely got an inspiration from the japanese movie "Bunny Drop", both have a similar plot and are slice-of-life kinda genre
