i wasn't ready!!!
I have never given a drama a perfect score...or watched one in one sitting although a short one.first of all, whatever you're expecting, it's not what you'll get...at all.
also if you have a past in bullying mild or extreme this will be an emotional roller coaster...
that being said it's been a long time since I straight out ugly cried over fictional characters, but those last few episodes had me baying for blood and drowning in tears.
the revenge wasn't enough...all those f**ckers deserved way more...cowards!!!!...maybe I'm projecting
I'm so happy there was a hint about a continuation...because I feel unfulfilled...I need to see if Bum Seok is drowning in guilt...i hope so...and if my man Soo woke up and hauled ass to that other school...I seriously need that team back together...
.....now let me go finish my project🙂🙂🙂
Can't wait!!!!

PERFEITO

High School? or a Fanfic?
Honestly speaking when I had first seen the trailer I was shocked. As an avid reader and follower of K-Dramas I was looking forward to it and was definitely not disappointed. The cast and the storyline were well built. I would certainly recommend other people to also try it because this is one of those dramas that can make different people have different viewpoints.Kudos to Park Jihoon and Choi Hyunwook!!

Why so chatty these days, I am trying to sleep now.
Loved it. 😘I don't have much to say but damn it's pure raw emotions. I really liked how they portray emotions so raw and silent. Weak people often try harder to get revenge and vent their anger towards the poor. Shuo was such a good character a character well loved by her granny and that's why he likes to get along with everyone. Sieun on the other and was so worked up and he was so unstable cuz he was so ignored. So whenever he gets triggered he just wants to go all out. He was so persistent.

It's Good but...
I read the webtoon series before watching the drama. It's different but the storyline is oddly similar as it still stick to the main plot with many different characters, side stories and so on.I'm not a big critic about the about the drama series and overall it's well portrayed as it should be.
The huge difference is that the webtoon is favored towards fantasy while the drama is more towards realism thus main character in webtoon seems more epic than the drama which kinda fall short from my expectation a little but the drama make it relevant to reality which connect to the audience especially those whom experience such tragedy or as a bystander.

You Need To See This
This is one of those dramas that will stay with me. It’s very emotionally heavy (lots of emotions bubbling underneath the surface) and it’s these volatile emotions that lead to quite graphic scenes of violence that may make viewers uncomfortable but I think it’s dramas like this one that needs to be viewed so that those emotions can sit with you. It’s important to feel these emotions vicariously (which you do - very much so) and recognise where they are coming from. They should resonate with you, as it’s a hard look at how people become this way. This drama was very illustrative, with the three main leads representing how someone can end up so far down a certain path. Each character is at different stages of that path. Soo Ho could have easily used his skills to become a school bully and give in to baser instincts but he doesn’t. Even when he has issues with Boem Seok he makes sure not to cross the line. He is someone who knows when to stop. Shi Eun is someone who was headed down the wrong path and about to give in to all his (understandable) anger and pent up frustration. I could feel him holding back in the earlier episodes. The tension was so thick and heavy, at times it felt suffocating so I can only imagine how much Shi Eun was being stifled by it. You can drown in those kinds of emotions and life circumstances where you feel like the boot is constantly on your neck. All that anger and resentment just to be greeted with more of the same each day. No wonder people in these circumstances flip out and rain down hell in a violent outburst when it finally breaks them and the anger comes spilling out.
Thankfully, Shi Eun was brought back from the brink before he went too far. He had someone like Soo Ho to pull him away from the edge and most importantly, Shi Eun was receptive to his help/intervention. This is where Boem Seok differs. The writers, director and most importantly; the actor, did a great job of showing the similarities and parallels between Shi Eun and Boem Seok’s characters and then showed how unlike Shi Eun, Boem Seok allowed himself to go to the brink. Unlike Shi Eun, he did not heed the warnings to stop before he was too far gone. And while he was justified in his anger and needing remedy for his pain; he crossed the line and became a victim who victimises.
What’s even more resonant is seeing how Boem Seok’s actions also drags Shi Eun past the brink as he loses it at the end and gives in to his pent up anger, frustration and resentment. Watching him in the second half of the finale, I felt so exhausted and emotionally drained. He looked tired, empty and like he had just returned from war, a shell of a person. This is the outcome when people are pushed too far. This is how someone loses the light behind their eyes.
The actors portray the complex states of emotions expertly. If you want to see characters who are real shades of grey; this is a drama that is a great illustration of that in the most harrowing way. You will not be disappointed.

Somewhat Disappointing
Ive watched a ton of kdramas, including plenty of action-packed ones, so I was really hyped for Weak Hero Class 1 when I finally got around to it—especially with its sky-high rating on MDL. I expected something groundbreaking. The first few episodes hooked me, particularly the arc with Gil-su (Kim Gil-soo) as the villain. It felt grounded, intense, and the fights were brutal in a realistic way. But after that storyline wraps up, things slow way down and start feeling over-the-top compared to the more restrained early vibe. The pacing drags in the latter half, and the drama leans into melodrama that didn’t land for me.
Character-wise, I only really connected with Su-ho (Ahn Soo-ho)—his energy and loyalty carried a lot for me. The others just didn’t click; I found myself not caring much about what happened to them, which made the emotional beats fall flat. That said, the action scenes are still solid (great choreography and intensity), and the acting is strong across the board—especially from the leads.
It’s decent overall, and I can see why some people love it for the themes of bullying, friendship, and survival. But for me, it’s nowhere near an 8-9+ rated show. Highly overrated compared to other action/youth kdramas I’ve seen. If you’re into grounded school violence thrillers early on, give it a shot, but temper expectations for the second half.

A Gritty Tale of Survival, Friendship, and the Dark Side of High School
is it too late to write a review?I remember the first time I watched this series because of Park Ji-hoon. He is truly one of those actors who can play facial expressions.
PLOT AND VIBES
The story revolves around Yeon Si Eun, a top student who looks weak on the outside but is actually a total genius at using his brains to outsmart bullies. He's not your usual fighter, but the way he uses strategy and his surroundings to take down opponents is chef's kiss. The drama does a great job of showing how intelligence can be just as powerful as brute force.
One of the things that hit me hard was how the series portrays loneliness and the desperate need for real connections. Si Eun, Soo Ho, and Bum Seok’s friendship feels so real yet so heartbreaking. They’re all broken in their own ways, and seeing them try to protect each other is both heartwarming and painful. The show makes you question: how far would you go to save your friends, and at what cost?
THEMES AND EMOTIONS
Weak Hero Class 1 doesn’t shy away from the ugly side of society—corruption, the bystander effect, and how the system fails to protect the weak. The bullying scenes are brutal, not just physically but also mentally. It’s a reminder of how traumatic school life can be for some people.
The tragedy of Bum Seok’s character development is one of the most painful parts. Watching him spiral into darkness because of his insecurities and the lack of genuine support is heartbreaking. His character shows how loneliness and unresolved trauma can push someone to make terrible choices.
ACTION
The fight scenes are top-tier, honestly. They’re not just about throwing punches but are cleverly choreographed to reflect Si Eun’s calculating mind. The rawness of the fights, combined with the dark and gritty cinematography, makes everything feel so real and suffocating.
ACTING SKILLS
Park Ji Hoon as Yeon Si Eun? He killed it. His expressions were so on point—how he can look both empty and furious at the same time is beyond me. The subtle shifts in his eyes and tone made Si Eun’s pain and rage so believable. Choi Hyun Wook and Hong Kyung also brought so much depth to their characters. You can literally feel their emotions through the screen.
FINAL THOUGHTS
What really stuck with me was how the show explores the cycle of violence. Nobody in this world is just a villain or just a hero – everyone's shaped by their circumstances and the trauma they've experienced. It asks tough questions about whether you can fight violence with violence without becoming what you hate. Weak Hero Class 1 is not just about school violence; it’s a story about survival, loneliness, and how trauma shapes us. It leaves you questioning society’s role in enabling abuse and makes you empathize with all the flawed characters. It’s dark, intense, and might leave you emotionally wrecked, but honestly, it’s worth every second.
This drama isn't your typical high school story filled with romance and fluff. Instead, it dives deep into the harsh reality of school violence, bullying, and the struggle to survive in a world that doesn’t seem to care. If you’re into intense, raw, and emotionally charged stories, this one's definitely for you!

ONE OF THE BEST!
This review may seem bias and all, but Weak Hero Class 1 is definitely one of the best school centered plot drama out there, in my opinion. From the beginning up until the end of the series, I can say that everything about it is just amazing. Each characters were able to put justice into their roles, and the acting is insane! As a Wannable, Jihoon was incredibly amazing in every aspect! Anyways, this is definitely a must watch AND rewatch, especially if you're into these types of dramas. ^__^

Resenha

If I had to go off the scale I would
By far one of my fav kdramas of all time 10000000/10 , I had nth to complain about , it was perfect , I'm waiting unpatiently for the 2nd season. The choice of characters was sooo on point , I can't think of more fitting actors , it made me feel a lot of emotions, I was looking fit smth like this , if I had the opportunity to wipe my memory and rewatch it I would in a Heartbeat, it portrays high-school reality and from diffrence perspective through the characters , I specifically loved how they bonded by helping each other , all I can say is that u don't need to waste one second reading through reviews, just go watch it and thank later .
