Weak Hero

This is way overrated imo. It felt like this drama was trying way too hard from start to finish. If just watching gloomy-looking people with no backstory or context makes you feel something and think that makes a good drama, then you'll love this, because everyone except 1 of the MLs just naturally looks miserable af in every scene. Lots of things were over the top and unrealistic, like bullies drugging someone with a fetanyl patch as a joke. I have a hard time believing something like that would actually happen, and we got no deeper reason except they were just supposed to be so evil that they'd get pleasure out of drugging someone, and we also get zero context as to why they start targeting him so much except he basically looks at them the wrong way. There is depth missing here, it's very lazy writing. And ML just gets a little woozy and then is completely fine and nothing else happens from the drug, but then just starts slapping himself? And cut scene, that's it? Speaking of weird actions, I didn't really like ML, his actions such as that were largely unexplained. He came across as more crazy than a sympathetic hero. He's supposed to be a pushover but then starts going around defending himself with a pen. Sorry I found it pretty cheesy.

I see this being compared to DP, which is a masterpiece...both these dramas are melodramas whose OSTs feature the same artist (Meego), but that's where the similarities end.

Surpassed my expectations

This show was on my Netflix list for quite some time, I was unsure about watching because I thought it would solely be fighting and more fighting. I was so wrong. I cannot stop thinking about this drama ever since I completed it.

I found it surprising because I ended up understanding many of the characters, through their confidence, intelligence, and even envious-selves (e.g. Beomseok). The storyline of the characters was perfectly sewn through, I watched it all in one day because of this.

10/10 show, even throughout the sadness of plots, I was truly witnessing the beauty of this show - how friendships are formed, how friendships could end due to jealousy, why people end up being a certain type of way - it is all in this show. Worth a watch if you can watch it.

Powerful Acting and Exceptional Storytelling That Left Me in Tears

A series that stole my heart!

All the acting was magnificent, but Park Ji Hoon and Choi Hyun Wook's performances were on a whole other level, if I may say so.
The story is really well written and was carried out in the same way! The fights were exceptionally done, everything feels real, so it's enjoyable to watch because it doesn't feel fake. What's more, you can feel the pain of betrayal and the loss of an important person, the anger at injustice, but also the affection of the friendship between Su Ho and Si Eun. The scene that will stay with me for the rest of my life will always be the last one: Park Ji Hoon did a truly exceptional job.

A Masterpiece

Not only did they portray the friendship so well, but Ji-Hoon is an absolute legend. The way Si-Eun was always a very serious and lonely person but found a friend that made him actually smile. I relate to him too much.

Even though I'm sure everyone who watched this hates Beom-Seok by the end, I actually feel so bad for him. I hate what he did to Suho but the complexity of his character is something not every can get- but I do. The amount of things he had to go through and endure throughout his life is legit crazy. (It's no excuse to hurt your friends tho)

The scene of Si-Eun punching the window in episode 8 actually made me cry because I genuinely relate to him and love him so much. All he wanted to do was mind his business, but... people-

This is one of my favorite shows. It's a masterpiece.

Vale cada segundo

Por fin me decidí a darle una oportunidad y debo decir que valió cada maldito segundo. La empecé por la tarde y la terminé en la madrugada con dolor de cabeza y una mezcla de emociones. Quedé encantada con Park Jihoon y sin dudas mi descubrimiento actoral del año se lo lleva Choi Hyunwook, su personaje me conquistó desde el primer momento y dependí de él hasta último minuto. Sin dudas me impactó mucho el giro que tomaron los acontecimientos y todavía sigo llorando y sufriendo por ello.

Ahora bien, mi 9.5 está justificado. La razón por la que siento que este minidrama no es un 10 se debe a que me molestaba mucho que no hubiese adultos funcionales a los acontecimientos, que nadie hiciera nada, que ningún profesor intersediera en las peleas, ni siquiera la policía fue util y ni hablar de los padres de SiEun que solo estaban ahí para recordarnos que el chico no es huerfano. Si bien esos detalles son funcionales a la trama una parte de mi esperó hasta último minuto que algún adulto fuese lógico y terminara con todo pero no. Otro motivo es que sentí el final flojo, realmente no hubo justicia para Sooho y hasta dan a entender que al final tanto él como su abuela se quedaron solos y eso me dejó devastada. Espero que esos detalles no se olviden en la segunda parte y que SiEun logre hacer justicia real y no sólo una que siga hundiendo su vida.

kalo kalian suka tentang action, relationship, ini cocok bangetttttt
apalagi tentang dunia gelap, ilegal, dan lain lain
ini lumayan bgt buat belajar dan cari tau gitu (pribadi aku sendiri)

the best drama!!

I saw this when I was scrolling on mdl. I clicked on it. I watched it. in one night. this drama was so good!!! I felt multiple emotions, happiness, sadness, anger, and fear. everything in this drama was perfect. the fighting scenes, the acting, the visuals, I really liked the script. I am the type person who gets second hand embarrassment extremely easily. nothing they said make me feel schem(second hand embarrassment). In the last ep's (5-8 ep) these are the most sad ep's. even though I have never dealt with bullies, this drama truly made me know how serious bullies are. I truly think that beom seok should have spoke up of his problems instead of destroying himself. I feel like his heart was always kind but because of his trauma, it kinda effected him. I'm so happy that shi eun stood up for himself and gave the guys who deserved a beating a beating. I really hope when season 2 comes out, ahn soo ho will be out of the coma, he was my fav person in this drama. oh, if you guys wanna watch the drama, you can go to kisskh. search it up on sarfari or Google!! thx for readingg

weak hero class is one of the most unforgettable dramas that I have watched and has easily earned a top spot in my list of all-time favourites. I genuinely think about it every single day and there hasn’t been a moment since I first finished it where I haven’t wanted to go back and rewatch. it's a drama that kind of always lingers with you, not just because of its storyline but because of how immersive it is (esp during fighting scenes, cause I had to get out of my seat a lot during them lol) it's impactful. the actors also portrayed the characters so well, maybe I'm biased since I've been a fan of park jihoon since produce but I loved how he portrayed sieun, and I can't imagine anyone else as him. especially during the last episode, the window shattering scene is something I constantly think about whenever I think of whc !!!! and visually, this drama is stunning. from the cinematography to the muted yet powerful color grading, the way each scene is framed.. the aesthetic is 10/10 no questions asked <333

I honestly wouldn't change a single thing about whc it's perfect in 100 different ways. i think it'll be a drama that stays on my top 5 list for a very long time.

Couldn't stop watching

Start to finish I was hooked. Our main characters quickly grew fond in my heart, and this drama scratched ever itch of what I was looking for. Intense, thrilling, even heart-felt. Park Ji Hoon has some of the most expressive eyes I have ever seen, and his acting this drama was stellar. If you are looking for a drama with an engaging plot, good acting, good progression, look no further. I really haven't experienced a lot of dramas that I enjoyed so much.

I'd say it would be hard for this drama not to impress. It was fast paced, and while I am one to enjoy a good slow burn, not everyone does so there is no wasting time with this one.

Poor Yeong Bin Got Wrecked for No Reason at the end ?

From the very first moment, I was completely hooked. What I loved the most was Si Eun’s straightforward personality, and the friendship between the three of them was truly beautiful—until one of them completely lost it and ruined everything.
Honestly, I really wanted to see Beom Seok get beaten up badly. Everything was way too easy for him. I mean, Su Ho is lying in a hospital bed in a coma while this guy is just out there living his life. Poor Si Eun lost everything because of that jerk Beom Seok.
But I have to admit, it was extremely satisfying to see Si Eun beat the hell out of those guys at the end. And poor Yeong Bin… yes, he started the whole mess, but during the final attack he actually wasn’t even involved, yet he still got destroyed like the rest of them—honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh. I finished the whole drama in a single sitting, and it was absolutely incredible.
