This is such a gem drama, action sequences are highly intense,it shows us the story of three friends who become close by standing against the bullies at school, they were happy and had good times together,but one of them become anti against the two and this drama shows us the impact of bullying and wrong parenting on children especially on school Children,but the lead actor wanted to avert the problem by pacifying the issue but finally the problem becomes bigger and one of the three friends become bed ridden and the hero is transferred to another school and bullying is the common thing there as well, and the story ends on a high note, the main attraction of this drama is the action sequences and the background score, this makes us addict to the story i finished 8 episodes in a row, there was never a dull moment in the drama, guy from 25 21 did a splendid job.

Quite sad..

It was amazing in the beginning, but then it suddenly switched plots after episode 4 so I was like huh???? It was going good but if you don't like sad endings, episode 4 can be your happy ending. The sad ending is so similar to how I felt after watching 20th century girl. It's so hard to rate this low even with a sad ending, but I just wish I was prepared to cry and knew it'd be so so sad. All the characters were portrayed very well even if I've never read the webtoon so I don't know how accurate it is for that, but the acting was phenomenal. Park Jihoon only gets better and better as time goes on with his acting skills, I'm looking forward to see him in more things from now!

It's definitely a worthy drama to watch

This might sound so exaggerated but to me, it is so far the best bullying themed drama I've watched and will definitely watch it over and over again and not get tired of it. It is oddly satisfying knowing that the part where a weak and nerdy boy gets to beat up those bullies in the end is somehow a cliche, I am very satisfied at how the turn of events don't look so cliche.

Normally, MCs get to start their game at the middle part of the story, this one's pretty intense since the action already started at episode 1.

It gives you a rollercoaster of emotions. You'll feel the rage at what the bullies do, you'll feel the happiness that the MC feels when he's with his friends, you'll get to feel the intense energy when he bursts and most of all, the sadness that he felt when their trio ended up in a solo. Too much heartbreaking for an ending but that's what made me so invested in it and it's season 2 that I am reading the webtoon already...

POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!

This is one of the best dramas I've watched around this time. No drama piqued my interest until this aired. Though I like dramas that have something to do with romance, this drama made me reconsider my preferences. It is action-packed and I also love the revenge act they are going with it. It is so satisfying to watch the bad guys getting punished.

I can see Yeon Shi Eun and Ahn Soo Ho's immaculate friendship even though the drama didn't fully show how close they are.
This is the first ever drama I've watched that I cried because of the pure friendship they had. This drama is a 10/10 on my Nth in my drama list.

I'd totally recommend this drama to my peers if they haven't watched this cause it is a MUST for the drama is really great.

Outstanding in many ways

I just finished it and I will make it short—the story, the fighting scenes, the soundtrack, the visual effects, and especially the acting: Everything is perfect. There must be a season 2. The storyline has so much potential and they didn't waste it. The drama ends where the original webtoon starts. I really really hope there will be a season 2.
Park Ji Hoon is remarkable. The perfect casting, he is on point in delivering this character, and so is the rest of the cast. But he really outstanding. The fighting scenes never get boring and you root for him in every single one. I've read that some of the production team members are also involved in D.P. which is also one of my all-time favorites, I especially felt it in the overall vibe. Even tho the topic is serious, brutal, and heavy there is also something comforting about the show (like it was with D.P.). The intro was also wonderful and is a no-skip. I can really recommend the drama, especially if you like revenge storylines. This show has one of the most satisfying revenge storylines I have ever seen. 11/10. Perfect.

Three's definitely a crowd in this series

OMG!!!!! I cannot believe I finished the entire season 1 as soon as I started watching it! I loved it!!!! I am a huge fan of the webtoon series and when I started reading it, I was having a wishful thinking that they would adapt it in a drama series and viola!!!! Here is our drama.

Season 1 gave the background story of Gray/Shi Eun and Stephen/Soo Ho's friendship and what happened way back there. The entire casts is superb! They really did a spectacular performance, with being a bully and a victim. I really abhor bullying, especially school violence as I don't get their reason in doing that? Self-fulfillment? Power? Validation? Why? If you're a victim yourself, why would you let others experience what your experiencing, instead of preventing it to happen to other people? You did bad things and then you justify what you did and blame it on other people, just to excuse your sorry self.

Really, Beom Seok/Bryce's character is really a sorry excuse for a human being, what a jerk, and definitely a coward person. I hate him!!!! I cannot wait for season 2 as Shi Eun will have a new set of friends/family in Eunjang High. Also, the fights there are superb! I want to watch if Shi Eun will use the "cola" can as a weapon. Anyway, I really enjoyed the series.

Great drama, I recommend watching it.

Disclaimer! I have not read the webtoon, though I plan to soon, this review is just based on the drama and doesn’t have to do with the webtoon.

Personally, I really enjoyed watching this drama. Even though there may a be a lot of fighting scenes, they all make sense in the story and aren’t out of place. The actors are all so good in this drama, and I also found the overall plot interesting. I find the main character (Shi eun) pretty interesting as well. He may be weak to the others at is school, but he definitely isn’t stupid and he knows how yo handle things himself. If you’re looking for another drama to watch, or one to start watching kdramas, I really recommend Weak Hero Class 1. This is for sure one of my favorites by far.

TWO HEROS & A BUNCH OF COWARDS!

Wow, I had no idea Park Ji Hoon could act this well! I was genuinely surprised by his performance.

The plot is engaging, and I absolutely love the friendship between Sieun and Suho. In a way, I find myself envying their bond; they are both incredibly loyal and genuinely care for one another. They’ve become my favorite characters in the drama.

Now, let’s talk about Oh Beomseok. Honestly, what can I say about him? If given the chance, I’d love to hit him with a broomstick (just kidding, sort of!). But seriously, my intense dislike for him speaks volumes about how well the actor portrayed the role. Well done! Thumbs up. While I still can’t condone his actions, I can appreciate how the story allows us to see things from his perspective, even if his reasons don’t justify what he did.

Enough of my rambling—just go watch the series! It’s definitely worth your time!

P.S. I really hate how bullies always gang up on their victims and how rich people often escape the consequences of their crimes. What cowards!

I would just like to say that just try watching first episode, you'll see yourself afterwards.
I cried my heart out for the first time in a drama.... And I still can't believe it cause i rarely cry watching dramas... Yesterday at 11.00 pm, i just thought watching 1or 2 episodes of this drama cause i wanted to watch it so bad after my exams, and here i am bingewatched every episode, now its 3:30 am in the morning and my eyes are all swollen from crying and later i even have college to attend.
But as i watched i couldn't get out of it, the drama really displayed an emotional hardship of friendship , bullying, family problems faced by students in school.
And I hope nobody goes through all of these in their life.

Emotional rollercoaster with phenomenal characters and brilliant storytelling

Yeon Shi Un is a smart student but he's physically frail, making him an easy target for the bullies who are jealous of his top grades. Based on a webtoon with the same title, it deals with an unlikely bonding heroes who stand up for themselves in their unique ways. The underdog become the alpha dog in this Pavlovian classic battle, fueled by rocking OST, amazing camera angles, unique film-editing and well-paced pen clicks!

It is short yet it covers a lot of deep values of youth fragility and found friendships. WHC1 seems to be grieving and questioning the youth fragility, showing how teenage life is like walking on thin ice, how the past leaves a trauma long after the incident. Trigger warning! There is much violence as it is a bullying story, all the blood, pain, violence, but... it is also very fun!

Sure, bullying drama is not new, but the storytelling is very unique. From the intro we see this cool blue-tone, it's quite mellow, I absolutely adore it, and adore seeing the intro even more as I get into the final. It doesn't look gory. It feels angsty. Loved the fighting scenes, the choreography for the fighting scenes are like dance, like I'm watching a musical.

the story wouldn't have the impact it has, if the characters didn't feel as real as they do. The journeys that they go on individually and then all together are just heartbreaking. I felt so much emotion watching them. I laughed, I cried, I felt angry, I have such a strong connection with the characters and I thought that's so rare nowadays... to feel so connected with characters. They're really easy to relate to and I think that's because they're teenagers and I was a teenager and I relate to a lot of the stuff they went through, not the like taking down a gambling gang, but the friendship troubles and the exams and part-time jobs, stuff like that... It had everything I might want from a show like this trio: cute fighter, psycho brain, cinnamon roll who just wants to help.

Absolutely award-winning levels of acting. Their facial expressions speak more than speeches and actions, the quiet gazes worth more than words. Even though they are all amazing, I'm not taking anything away from any of them… but Park Jihoon who played Shi Un really stood out for me and I watched this show months ago and the climax scene with Shin Un the last episode... that still sticks with me. That scene is so powerful and it is literally because of his acting.

The plot is tight without fillers, it has no romance, but there are tons of conflict and I love conflict. I really like the dialogue and I also the visual storytelling is just skillful. Well-written scripts are more than anything I really look up to the show and the writers who worked on it because it really is just phenomenal. It's literally flawless I don't have anything bad to say about it. Hands down the most heartbreaking drama I've ever seen and I genuinely mean that!

YES YES YES YES YES

WOW.

Soo this is not going to be a long Review but I really need to put my opinion out here and praise this drama. When I saw the rating from other people I already had high expectations - and let me tell u it was WAAAYY BETTER then I could have imagined!! The acting in this series and the crazy fight scenes are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I just couldn't take my eyes of it not even a split second. This is definitely going into my top 3 favorite kdramas. I really hope the second season is coming soon !!

This drama is a big yes for me DEFINITELY RECOMMEND even if u are not in to dramas with fighting scenes then the story will change your mind on that !!! GO WATCH IT NOW!!
