My School President (2022)

Funny. Adorable. Youthful.

The story has clean plots. Everything is detailed. The smooth flow of the story line is wonderfully frictionless. The little funny scenes added with catchy background music effects always catch me off-guard. This is a musical classic series! Music scenes gives an MV feels to it. The series managed to pull off a lively and youthful vibe which I really like the most.

I always watch dramas and see myself in the perspective of the characters to know if the actors are really portraying their roles well. It is so nice that their dialogue and acting clearly show the emotional scenes they are aiming for. The adorable chemistry of each couple makes me feel like I'm living a teenage dream. There is no need for too much kissing scenes. Their cheesy scenes are enough to make a romantic relationship but they still give what fans deserve at the perfect moment (the ending). I'm very amazed to the scriptwriter/s, cameraman, director and all other personnels who made this possible. This is the first time I am appreciating not only the casts but also the whole team behind. The production is indeed a high quality!

Everyone should learn from the optimistic views shown all throughout the series:
1. Reaching out your dreams comes with boundless of failures. Just know that you're not fighting it all alone.
2. Giving the children a happy life should be the priority of parents. Being a support for the children fortifies their goals and ideals. Don't be the first one to crash their future.
3. Real friendship will get stronger amidst internal conflicts.
4. A good leader builds the ladder for his people's success.

Overall, this is a MUST-WATCH. This is one of the best Highschool series.

When I started this series i was like yeah it would be like high school love like my heart or your gown or something like that but when I watched the series all that came from my mouth was woooww like literally from head to toe it's perfect everything is included and the most important thing is that they haven't passed their time on silly stuff the actors did perfect roles and it seemed like they were too into it and that made my heart flutter like you should literally watch this series and the most important thing is that they showed the bonds of parent and children which was really amazing I'm proud of it like literally everything in this series is worth watching it's worth the watch

A good presidency

Well, I'm not into high school dramas since 2021 but this right here catch me, it was a nice debut for Gemini and fourth I don't remember see them before so for me is they debut and they rock it! they prove how they can be versatile in differents roles and we live for that, like I say I'm not into this buuut, I love how they handle with things in this series and how the plot was well thought out, man I don't like dramas that the story turns around bands too hahauahahah I admit that but I like the songs too, not much but a good too, the rewatch value is not 10 because they are not turning into classic, are on the way but not classic already. In general is a good series and they deserve all the suscess.

A GEM

Honestly, I didnt have much hopes or expectations for this series. Tbh, I almost forgot this series is in 2022 rooster lol. This dropped very randomly at the end of 2022. I just watched because it is on Friday and it is very good, As episodes went by, I was hooked and currently now suffering post -msp depression haha. So here is my thoughts on the aspects of this series.....

The story line
There is barely anything u can cook out of a high school romantic comedy. But this is proof that u can do the best out of a high school series. The rivals to lovers, check. The enemies to lovers check. There are enough side stories to keep the audience entertained. And another additional points for this series is that towards the end of the series, it transitions from the silly romcom to the reality of the lives of these teenagers. "Not winning the award show, the guilt and breaking down from the result and the fight stemming from it and how they reconcil" they are done great. And also that the newer generations are more open-minded and that parents should be the safe place for their children if the world is not kind to their children. Those positive messages are given with a slight check to the reality. The way they convey the message has weight. It is not done as a mandatory part like most of the BLs. They addressed the heavy issues but they didn't dwell on it. They know that they are still a cute romcom. That part is where I have come to appreciate this series. This is not some alternate universe where all gay people are the norm but actually reflect this more accepting society with some backward minded people.

The acting
The acting class pays off guys!! Please take them lol jk jk but im serious haha
The chemistry won't be chemistrying if u don't know how to act so pleaseeee take the damn class @ the rest of bl actors lol.
It is highkey amusing that these guys are just rookies with only one work before but they are both doing so well in both series ( please check out moonlight chicken guys. It is reallly good!)
There are not a lot of part where the leads have to be really emotional but Fourth (gun) acted well. He is acting really well and I can feel his emotions from the screen. My fave parts are where gun is looking for tinn at the hospital and the relief on his face knowing that tinn didn't leave him, another one is gun fighting with win and the other one is where he run out of the president room holding his tears. He also masters in being extra duper cute and fluffy haaha. This is what happens when u cast high schoolers for high school characters loll. no shade no shade.

The chemistry
Not just from the two leads but also side couples and their friendship. I think the workshops paid off. And the fact that these kids are closer in age really helps.
The romantic chemistry of the two leads really flow. Gemini really nailed the totally whipped guy character so well haha. Very cute and talented guys!


Overall, this series managed to avoid all of my bl icks and bad ending. Not pristine perfect but I can't point out the flaws because I was busy kicking my blanket and screaming into my pillow for how cute and wholesome it is haha. Def once in while gem!

The best BL series ever!

I have started watching BL series since Sotus and so far no BL series has made me love it and moved me as much as this series. Why do I think this is such an excellent BL series?
1. Handsome cast: a series with so many good looking guys can never go wrong (except Check Out maybe :P).
2. Great acting: Gemini and Fourth are great actors that make us fall in love with the characters, but not only the lead actors, the other actors are all well acted (e.g. mark Pakin is funny as hell, and the fighting scene in episode 11, Fourth, Winny and Ford really stole the show with genuine emotions). I also like how they improvised in many scenes (e.g. pinky fingers, first kiss in forest) and they kept going on professionally.
3. Excellent chemistry: there’s no denying that Gemini and Fourth has great chemistry, they give us the vibes of young teenage first love that makes us swoon over and over again. Another pair, WinnySatang, also developed great chemistry as the show went on.
4. Storyline: a lot of fans are hesitant with high school love and they tend to be repetitive, toxic or over dramatic, but not this series. Yes the storyline is set in and about lives in high school but they also infuse a lot of elements e.g. family, future, discrimination, fails and how they get back up again. I was moved to tears several time in scenes like Gun’s mother in hospital, healing music scene, graduation and Once Upon A Time scene.
5. Attention to details: I like how the team has attention to every detail, like the scrabble in different episodes to show Tinn’s emotion and at the last scene showed The End, like how they showed Gun and Tinn’s first day in school in parallel in episode 1 and 2 etc.
6. Direction and filming: the filming is of good quality and the editing is tight, there is no unnecessary scenes everything is related. I especially enjoy how they change Chinzhilla’s position from performer to listener in Healing scene, and how everyone is saying goodbye in Once Upon A Time scene, not to mention the Pinky finger scene which is excellently filmed.
7. Unbelievable OST: be it a cover version or a new song, this series is jam packed with quality music production and each and every song can cater the scene very well. Not only are these songs well written, the singers (mainly Gemini, Fourth, Satang, Ford) are unbelievably good and professional, that you can never guess their day job as actors during listening.
I could go on and go but I think you already got the point. It also goes to show that you don’t necessarily need a lot of NC scenes to make a series great. I applaud to the cast and crew for creating such a wonderful series that makes me laugh, cry and genuinely happy for a whole 12 weeks. ?
P.S. this has been my number 1 BL series, out of over 150 series I have watched so far that’s how good it is!

How this series change my views on cute rom-com series

To be really honest, this series is one of my favorite BLs of all time. I could never forget what this series taught me. The hardships, friendship and many more issues being talked in this series are well-written. The acting of every actors is superb and it is deniable because I feel their emotions in every scenes very well. I also like how the side characters' issues are still talked about even though they did not have the full spotlight.

And of course, we can never forget about the overloading cuteness from TinnGun! I smiled every episode and did not miss a chance to squeal over them hehe. Their catchphrases are still very iconic for me.

Lastly, I am very impressed by how GemFourth actually became popular although this was their first series. It was really surprising, but I am very glad that their hard work paid off. Their OSTs for every episode are healing and fun, so I would recommend you to listen to those OSTs and watch the whole series.

I can't describe how good it was <3

Let's start with the fact that I had no expectation whatsoever before the series started. I heard about before but I didn't really know what to expect cause the actors were new. But this series, I have no words. It gave me everything I needed. The chemistry was off charts, even with such a well known plot it was more the that. The storyline just perfect, love, friendship, dreams, relations with parents, everything. There was a lot of singing which I was worried it's gonna be bad but again they did an amazing. I listen to their songs on daily basic. The chemistry between the main couple just incredible. I've never seen such young and talented actors. The way they acting made me feel, I can't even describe it. And the fact that they chemistry was so good, I didn't even needed a kiss from them, cause they could make me feel butterflies without it. WITHOUT RELEASING I FELL IN LOVE NOT ONLY WITH THE SEIRES BUT ALSO WITH THE ACTORS. JUST NO WORDS. FOR SURE MY TOP SERIES. <33333333333

It’s not like a lot of bls, at least from my point of view.

This is my favorite bl. There are nothing that can change my mind about that. Everything perfect.
The actors had great chemistry, even though they didn’t have a lot of touchy scenes. Which are what, at least for me, makes them at least have a tad bit of chemistry.
The communication was top notch and was constantly there, there were no problems that were left unsaid or talked about. Tinn was always there for Gun, even if something happened; the situation where Gun got mad a Tinn for not telling him about his mothers tumor for example.
And their relationship was so healthy and sworn worthy. Tinn was always there for Gun if he needed it and Gun for him too.
At first I didn’t like Tinn’s mom because I had thought she was too obsessive about what Tinn was doing, but as the show went on I realized she just didn’t want her child to get hurt. Though, at the end of the 12 episode you can tell she is still wrapping her head around the situation, you can tell she excepts their relationship and it not rude to Gun or Tinn. Gun’s mother was a supportive person and is Gun’s number one supporter, well Tinn and her are both equally Guns number one supporter, she also took care of Gun and supported him in whatever situation that need her support. I think Tinn’s father needed more screen time, he was always supported and never once said a bad thing about Tinn’s and Gun’s relationship and when Tinn’s mom was feeling doubtful of the relationship he would give her encouraging words and eventually make her understand.
The friendship Gun and his band members had were more a brotherly bond than just friendship and Tinn’s friendship he had with his friend(I can remember his name for some reason) was beautiful. The friend played a major role in their relationship going as smooth as it did and their overall friendship they had was refreshing.
And the comedy side to this was nice, like the one scene were Gun got drunk off the sake was hilarious, especially when he tried to punch Jikorn and was cussing at him.
Overall, this was carefully written and put into place, there were no moments were I had to force myself to continue watching.
This was definitely worth the watch and the wait. And this is also the first time posting a review because none of the shows I’ve watched have made me either smile this much, or made me feel this happy before.

The Decision to change the story from its Original saved this show and made it a phenomenal Show

Firstly, I wanna just thank the Director, Screenwriter, Scriptwriter, music director and board who were involved in this series for changing the story of the novel original plot to something original and loved. This series was truly made with so much care from character writing, song choices and original song writing the whole show was a absolute highlight. Endeing 2022 and started 2023 full of smiles thanks to this series.

Next, the cast what else can I say they deserve all the love, they did a very goodjob bringing out the emotions of the characters. They better win more than just Rookie of the Year for award cause this show is absolute perfection. Ive watched Thai BL since Love Sick and MSP is leaps and bounds ahead of any game I can't imagine any BL competing with this show for 2023 at all and we are only 2 month into the year this speaks volumes of what a great show this is.
