HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! IF YOU HAVENT WATCH IT. WATCH IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

This series really thought me a lot. It's not just two teenagers falling in love but it shows a non toxic relation ship, supportive parents, friends that you can look up to. the last ep really got me because at first I didn't cry when this series was ending but when I watched it. it shows the importance of communication between a parent and a child. Gun's mom is the best mom she supports every thing Gun does and she trust him, Tinn's mom is not perfect but one of the best. She's willing to fight for Tinn and respects Tinn's decision that his not ready to tell her about Gun yet.

The Chinzilla band really hit me hard they were the reason I held my guitar again after almost 2 years. They understand each other and there each others safe place, for the juniors that will join the band may I hope you experience what they experience. I hope you'll be each others happiness and eat bbq when ever you can. Take care of Sound's guitar he left them because he want's you to experience what he experience, not being alone in you're first day and having a circle of friends to go to when you need to. play games, tease eachother, practice for next years hot wave.

Tinn and Gun is the most green flag relation ship I ever know. Tinn was willing to wait till Gun graduates and have a job just for them to be together. Tinn secretly texted Gun as Lion, secretly helped him to win a contest, and many more. Gun understood that Tinn cant tell his mom yet and was willing to wait. They understand eachother when nobody understood them. They were eachothers home. I hope not only Tinn and Gun last forever but I hope Gemini and Fourth stay together until I can go to thailand and tell them how they changed my life. Thank you My school president cast. Idk how I'm going to move on from this series and I cried so much tears. A lot of my friends keep telling me "you're going to find another series just like that you dont have to cry." NO theres no other series like MSP they have been my home, comfort, my cry for help, the reason why i'm so exited every friday night, the reason i'm happy in my dark days. I hope theirs a season 2 showing Pat having a love life(when his comes back from canada) MSP was there when nobody wanted to, the chinzilla songs and covers made me fell so happy every time and i'll miss screaming my lungs out singing there songs in my bedroom when i'm suppose to be doing my homework. I dont know how im going to move on but the MSP and the cast will always have a safe place in my mind and heart. THANK YOU GMM for giving us this series.
(I want a Tinn or Gemini in my life.) (i also want a Gun/Fourth in my life)
(Iwhy do I agree more on GunTinn more than TinnGun?)

I highly recommend you watch this series

I hope to see you soon Chinzilla and GunTinn/TinnGun in ourskyy2

how would we know?

The average rating for this amazing drama is 9.1 stars, with the highest being 10 and the lowest being 8.5. Read the description or else you will be confused. or dont and be like me, who was confused. If you are thinking about watching this, watch it. It is so worth it. Following the five main people, now six, around is probably the best thing ever. Every actor for the main people and the couples was extremely good-looking, and their acting skills were crazy good, because I was getting emotionally attracted to the characters. Gun growling at Tinn told me everything I needed to know about the show, and it kept me watching and watching. The characters were likable and funny. The story was actually really strong, and I liked it a lot. From enemies to lovers, all I need in life is tough love. Tinn helping them from the very start, this man is the ideal boyfriend i am gonna be so honest. I don't understand the point of the slow dancing because it wasn't brought up again, but it was cute, so it doesn't matter. It has no reason to be this funny. The acting from the cast was really good. AND TINN AND GUN IRL ARE TWO YEARS OLDER THAN ME? LIKE WHAT???? Anyway, the music, well, duh. It was good; there was a lot of singing, and I was all here for it. I would probably rewatch some scenes again, but not the whole thing. This drama is a good example of young love and toughness. Win and Sound were a lot with their goofy ass relationship; it was tough love, but I loved it. I ate every second of this show like I was starving. I needed this after crying my eyes out until we met again. Thank you, wheel, for choosing this one. For once, I love you. Now we are onto puppy love; there are more words in front of it, but I don't care. Great show; great cast; great story; great everything. Okay bye.

This is a lighthearted romance but the characters were all good at best

This show is a little too dramatic, I do like exaggeration/over the top comedic acting but this got on the annoying side probably cause most of it was when it had to do with negative emotions. Still found it fun though.

All the characters and couples are really nice, I enjoy friendships and multiple couples in series especially when they're all so dramatic lol. Pat grew on me I have a thing for anyone with glasses it makes then stand out to me. he is really funny at one point he told the girls to call him daddy, where was Gun to smack him upside the head!! but i wished they gave him someone though cliche and not realistic as not everyone in a friend group ends up dating at the same time, I DO NOT CARE! I'm done leaving Pat all alone, the last school day was actually atrocious. He was all alone but it's ok baby I've got you. best believe when they said for him to take a picture for them, i would make that shit be so blurry.

WinSound is the first time I saw a couple that didn't both like each other. Win likes Sound so much as a person/friend that he's willing to try dating him!! I really enjoyed that. Win has some anger, so hot-headed though he's self aware so *shrug* especially in ep 11 why was he and Sound taking it out on each other and everyone around them too, y'all have no coping skills whatsoever and why was Pat the only one to apologise properly to everyone they all better get on their knees and beg each other for forgiveness tf. This is why I have a hate and love relationship with Win and Sound's relationship but for some reason I like their relationship the most anyways. I'm so curious to see them together when they are more mature I hope they keep this dynamic but they understand each other better and not add to the list of issues.

TinnGun (or GunTinn lol) are really cutesy, very real representation of a new school relationship. When Tinn went to confess and got barged so hard his flower dropped then the entire group not only walked but stomp the living shit out of it and the last guy kicked it, was so funny but my feelings got genuinely hurt like damn give this man a break. Tinns flirting techniques are crazy, makes me hate but love him at the same time. I liked how Gun spoke to Tinn throughout the show, he is very soft spoken you can clearly tell It's full of love, I also liked when Gun's voice went softer when begging Tinn to extend the deadline but overall it's shy Tinn with forward Gun, thy're too cute to pass up. Gun and Tinn's kissing scene was way too fast and way too short for me to freak out about it!! it was crazy I did not expect it. I want more from them but I think what they lack is fitting for a school romance.

Tiw saying he wants to eat Por was a jumpscare I did not expect him to say that, to be honest I don't ship them much (Lowkey only do because they are great characters especially Tiw separately) because they have no chemistry! I'm sorry but I would literally not even have thought they would be together if it wasn't for the opening/intros or for them hinting that he likes Win but I know Win is with Sound and then they say he likes Por. On the other hand MarkFord is something I can get behind!! Tiw is the best and they never invite him anywhere, Tinn only does so he has an excuse to be with Gun and the second beach trip he basically invites himself like damn are y'all actually friends or nah?! I like Gun's and Tiw's friendship at one point Gun bullies Tiw into saying cut for Tinn's prom love scene with the girl which was hilarious, this is also show with Mark and Fourth with Fourth being MarkFord shipper lmao.

I wish Kajorn had his character development early on because now that I actually pay attention to him cos he's not just a hater, he's so cute and fun.

Tinn's mom deserves an award for the way she responded to the homophobic teacher!!

Throughout the show everyone was so stylist and good-looking especially on the last episode you'll are all cuties, Por though... he is absolutely stunning, has the style of a god and Tiw with the vest!? a very fashion forward couple <3

I wish there was more to the show I don't mind the lack of chemistry or deep romance cause this is a lighthearted romance but the characters were all good at best especially all the girls they had no personality whatsoever. I feel like I was trying to hype myself up while watching but it didn't entirely work. The cast on the other hand is amazing and needs to work together again, I like the actors more the the characters they play. They did they're best with default school romance characters, with Gemini, he portrayed Tinn's emotions so well, there was no guessing, easily identified. I can easily tell he likes Gun from their first ever eye contact, if that doesn't prove it Tinn trynna have Gun take his last name when he was praying should lmao. The show was constantly good but it's personally a little slow for me and boring at time. The music in some areas also seemed off like it doesn't seem to fit but the rest of music was truly a vibe, you've got ma back is such a good song but what's better is Win's ad-libs; "you've got ma back, back" then "keep it up!, keep it up!, yeah!, yeah!". I keep singing that on repeat! I wished we saw the just being friendly parody, I LOVE THAT SONG especially Milli. The cheer up song when Gun said that he's playing for us losers actually got me crying.

Gave me cavities!

THIS SHOW!!

Where do I even begin...

My School President made me look forward to fridays. It cheered me up when I felt down and brought me so much joy and comfort.

My emotions went on a whole rollercoaster ride watching this. I didn't just laugh, I also shed tears over this show and got cavities from sweetness overload.

To be honest, when I started MSP I didn't have high expectations. I never thought i'd become this attached but as I was watching it, I realized that it's become a lot more than just a silly fun show to me.

MSP had amazing characters and amazing actors who portrayed those characters so freaking well. Characters, who I could relate to and cheer for. Relationships and friendships that were so beautiful and healthy. AND THE FREAKING OST'S!! They were so good! As much as I hate the fandom name, I can proudly say that I'm a Mommyzhilla!

Despite the plot not being anything extraordinary, the writing and actors managed to make it so much more special. MSP will forever be a show that will be able to cheer me up and give me comfort.

and Tinngun...

UGH TINNGUN! I genuinely don't think i've ever rooted this much for a relationship. Their love was so wholesome and beautiful! I wouldn't get bored watching them for another 50 episodes. Something I really loved and appreciated about their relationship was their ability to communicate with each other. I love me a couple who doesn't suffer from the ugly miscommunication trope!

And of course I have to mention Gemini and Fourth. They did an amazing job portraying TinnGun and their love story. Their chemistry is insane! I honestly can't even imagine any other actors playing these characters. Also, FOURTH'S SMILE! He's got the cutest smile ever. One look at that smile and all my problems are gone.

I genuinely think My School President is one of the best shows GMMTV ever produced. I'll never forget this show. Saying goodbye to it was really hard for me. I WAS NOT READY FOR IT TO END...

But well, everything comes to an end at some point. I can't wait to meet TinnGun and maybe even Chinzhilla & Tiwson again in Our Skyy 2 <3

Not a Lovesick Remake - In many ways better

My School President is the best series of 2023. When the trailers came out I was getting too much of a Lovesick remake vibe. That trope of the music club is in trouble and the President comes into to save them and in the process falls in love. Glad to report that My School President (MSP) has transcended that trope and is a much more evolved version. Like Lovesick, MSP is a rom--com that successfully blends a simple storyline, lovable and relatable main characters, and music into an excellent series. Additionally, the actors ability to sing brings a geniousness to the series. It’s definitely not a copy or remake but a fresh take that’s done exceptionally well.

What makes MSP successful is the series ability to be light, yet not fluffy. MSP could have turned into an immature teen comedy but thankfully it didn’t. Everything feels genuine. You can feel the emotions and chemistry between allthe actors, especially with the two lead actors Fourth and Gemini, Probably helps that all the actors are all similar in true age. From a story perspective, I especially loved all the character nuances and references that the series builds on from episode to episode. These bring depth to the characters relationships. The music is excellent and is perfect in its placement within each episode. It’s a wonderful coming-of-age rom-com that’s definitely a must watch as it’s one of the best of this genre.

Most wholesome BL I've ever watched!

This is hands down one of the most wholesome series that I've ever watched in my entire life and I just can't stop going back to rewatch it. I don't like to give out 10 stars often, but I geniunely looked forward to watching this every week and always made time in my schedule so I could watch it as it was released. Overall, this series made me very happy whilst also tearing my heart to shreds at times. This series could have be incredibly cringey but wasn't and that's why I think it's perfect.

Positives:
The soundtrack - I truly believe is one of the best out there! 'You've got ma back' and 'Smile Please' are both on my hype playlist to get me in a good mood in the morning and I often have the soundtrack on in the background whilst I'm working.
Fluff - The amount of fluff in this series is absolutely unreal and I didn't realise how much I wanted to see that in a show until after watching this. But yes, if you want fluff this is the series for you.
Side couples - Often with side couples I don't mind them, or I just can't stand them. However in this series I was rooting for them all the way through. I love a good enemies to lovers so I fell in love with SoundWin's storyline and PorThiu was one I didn't see coming but still enjoyed.
A settled ending - Am I excited to see all the boys again in 'Our Skyy 2'? YES, but even if we weren't seeing them again (even though a season 2 would be very nice please GMMTV), I'm still very content with how the show ended and I'm glad everybody got a happy ending.

Things I didn't like as much:
For some reason I intially thought this was going to be an enemies to lovers (which is my fav trope), but it wasn't as much as I thought which disapointed me at first, but after the 2nd episode I didn't care anymore.
Prom - Phat got absolutely cheated at the ending and deserves better. It sucks to be the only person in a friend group who's single, especially when everyone is else hanging out with there partners and you're just alone, so I hope he gets a happier ending out of 'Our Skyy 2', because he deserves it.
The fact this show ended - I feel like there's a part of me that's empty now there's no new episodes. Also, I had to watch the finale whilst on my dinner break at work in a quiet room and cried a lot and I got a few weird looks from people when I went back to work which wasn't fun.

Cute, fun, wholesome, charming

If you love Highschool drama, this one is definetly for you. If you don't, this one is for you too.
The plot is simple, yet light and convincing, describing the struggles we all went on during teenage years. I watched many BL dramas by now and at some point you always end up thinking one of the main characters is behaving badly towards the other; in My school president this doesn't happen. You CANNOT not-love EVERT SINGLE CHARACTERS. They all have their flaws, but they are not straight-up problematic. The two mains' chemistry is INSANE, their relationship is healthier than my salad and them both are just two walking green flags.
My school president is light, fun, wholesome e so freaking cute it HURTS.

Awesome 12 ep musical

This show was a lot of fun with little angst but a whole lot of feels. It was a basic, unoriginal plot but it was made extraordinary by the cast. They really sold it for me, in every emotion they conveyed. I felt like more was being said through their expressions rather than their words, which is impressive for such a young and relatively new cast.

Right off the bat, it needs to be said that Tiwson is the perfect wingman and everyone needs a friend like him. It was a little sad that a lot of his lines were brushed off as jokes or nonsense because he had a lot of deep lines. "If high school love is like a lit candle in the rain, I will hold an umbrella for you." They basically have the crickets singing after he says that as if he's just being weird but this line alone made me fall in love with him.

This is probably the first show I'm tempted to get the full soundtrack to instead of just one or two songs. There was a different song every episode instead of the typical same two or three songs being used throughout the entire series. The group number in episode 5 that was started by Gun's mother was beautifully shot as you see all of the characters chiming in over the course of it even though they were all involved in their own situations. It was well executed and very effective. I got excited when I started recognizing songs that were covered in other shows (ie: Just Being Friendly used in Cutie Pie) but it was great seeing the different versions.

There were a few plot points that were either not explained well or just flat out forgotten about that was basically the only reason I didn't rate it higher. Like, when Sound is introduced, he and Tinn had a fierce rivalry and they do say as such, but they never really explain when or where or in what. And then, it's just forgotten about as if it never happened. They don't talk it out, they are just simply suddenly okay with each other with no reason why. And the thing with the teacher felt so forced, like they needed someone to be a villain but only thought about it in the final episode so they threw that conflict in just for the hell of it and then bam, sort of resolved 2 seconds later.

I thought this was a great showcase of friendships and family relationships while having just enough romance to be cute and drive the story forward. There were so many unexpected heart-pulling moments where I'd suggest you have some tissues ready in advance. Next time I watch this, (because I definitely will) I'll be better prepared instead of bawling into the throw pillow.

a high school rom-com done right

"My School President" tells the story of first love in the last year of high school.

While the synopsis of this drama might sound like it's just the same high school rom-com all over again, "My School President" still manages to tell a unique story. Overall, the drama is light-hearted, funny and cute but is also able to show serious sides without destroying the flow of the story. There isn't any unnecessary conflict - every conflict has a reason for growth, it's not just there for the sake of a conflict.

The OST of "My School President" is probably one of the best OSTs you can find on GMMTV dramas. It's a mix of original songs and cover songs. Every song is chosen wisely to compliment the theme of each episode, which makes the experience of watching this drama even better than it already is.

The cast is a great choice. The interactions between (main as well as side) characters don't feel awkward at all. That's probably also thanks to the great acting of every actor working on this. They are able to deliver fun and cute scenes as well as serious and emotional scenes. Although, some aspects of the story are exaggerated for comedy purposes, it still feels realistic.

To sum up, if you want to watch a cute, fun high school rom-com that still manages to add seriousness and has great acting, then "My School President" will probably become one of your favourites.

A lovely and healthy youthful (love story) serie

It's crazy and surprising that, at first I wanted to skip it because of High school setting but one month later and thanks to some M/Vs (You've got my back) and some snippets, I ended up watching it and didn't regret it at all. Honestly, I would like to rewatch it for some particular scenes or to just take some good times when I'm feeling down.

I was hooked with the first ep and the first song "Want to Sing loudly" kept me to watch the rest and to root for the main couple. The scene were the band begun to sing their first song and Tinn was watching and controlling his facial expressions was hilarious!

The story is quite simple and somehow a dejavu but I think it executed well and I appreciate the development of it.
But I would say, sometimes it's not as cliche as I thought because in some scenes, I had some expectations but then it turns out a bit different so it was nice! Without spoiling, I remember one scene, they were together and I think everyone was waiting for what happen next and I thought I already know the answer but when we finally had the answer, I was dumbfounded lol

As it was maybe more targeted to a young audience but as I watched this, it makes me want to go back in my 17 years old again (I'm in my mid-twenties) and to enjoy my younger self with a club of music even though I can't play any instrument. But I used to dream to play drums and I still want to try but in reality, I don't have rythm so..haha

So apart the main couple who has a really nice chemistry and I really loved Tinn's character, I also loved their friendship and the parents. It was so heartwarming and adorable. It melts my heart!! These people created a great and a healthy environment to help on the growing/development of characters. I especially want to mention on parents and it affects their kids so it was important that in the drama they have shown these affections and behaviors.

It's kind of a breath of fresh air, sometimes I laughed so bad, sometimes, I wanted to protect them, to hugged them like they were my younger brothers/sons haha and be endeared in front of Gun and his mom and other things omg
I also giggled and blushed because of them (Tinn and Gun), I really felt this pure young love.
With the music, it adds to the serie some magic feels and it doesn't feel awkward, it's beautiful and it does make sense with the context / situation. I still listen to some OST, it makes me smile and makes my day!

I would like to mention that these young actors did a great job, they brought these characters alive, it was convincing and we get easily attached to them. I only know Ford Arun but as a singer (the first time, it was an OST for The shipper and omg what a voice!) and then, I discovered him as Por a high school student and a nice friend was super adorable, he was so cute.

So, to wrap it up, My School president may not for everyone but it could help to forget how stressful life is or to help to forget for a while our own personal problems and I'll keep it as a nice and heartwarming drama!

It goes from cute to cuter to cutest

Do you remember the romance of yesteryears? When it involved a lot of hugs, cheek kisses, sweet gestures, and not-yet cheesy lines? Maybe not. In many ways, MSP was a trip down the memory lane back to those days of schooling. And this is from someone who hates going back to them. But I see it everywhere in the series- in the secret admiration, the gentle build-up of feelings, their smiles of happiness, their buddy gang. It's in the air.

MSP is the story of the school president and the guy he likes. Quite literally. They make us like them and root for them with all the fluff they ooze. Tinn and Gun, singly and together, are two balls of warmth that light up the screen from the moment they arrive. Gemini and Fourth are excellent casting choices for the story and the characters they play. Tinn and Gun need some softness and delicacy in their portrayal that Gem and Fourth bring to the table in tonnes.

But it's not just about them. Since Tinn is the school president to, well, everyone. He brings the rules to the music club, and solutions to the difficulties presented by the rules as well. "The rule doesn't stop me from hitting on you." Was it routine/expected/previously said? Yes. Did anyone else say it this way before? No. So, did I scream? Yes. This is the only example I remember. There are many others.

Gun needs an audience. Tinn becomes one. He needs to write a song. Tinn gives some advice (that he knows). He needs to be picked up and put back together. Tinn lends a shoulder. Their story is heartwarming and fulfilling.
Then there are the others in the music club who are each their own character and not Gun's sidekicks. The rough and gruff Sound, the constantly irritated Win, the shy and quiet Yo, the naughty Pat and the softie chef Por. Then there is Tiwson, the best wingman there ever is. Kajorn's small character is also not without its quips. He reminds me of Mr. Filch- always out to get the students. MSP is incomplete without them.

They are typical teenagers with dreams. They have typical troubles and typical fights. But they bond over BBQ Pork and music. They push each other up. After pulling each other down. They sink and sail together. Doing typical teenage stuff. Like lazing about one day before the competition, postponing practice to eat food first, bad grades, group studies, going on trips, getting caught lying, help their mate impress his girl. Does this remind you of anyone? Perhaps, yourself some years ago?
When they say boys will be boys, they mean this. (Please take a note) (Of course, this would have been true had this been a girls show as well).

I was done for when they danced for Nook. It was so lovely. I can't remember the last time it happened. See, it is possible to do the old school stuff without making it cringey. It is possible to say Guntaphon Jirawattanakhul while praying. It is possible to say they'd wait until after college for getting together. It is possible to ask to get married right in high school. It can make you swoon. And squeal. And yearn.

It's this depiction of teenage that is beautiful. They are not adults yet, and they do not behave or think as one. They are not kids anymore and do not behave or think as them either. There is hesitation, uncertainty and those moments of teen bravado that makes them bold enough for a minute to confess, spill the secrets, make a move, admit the truth. It's a delight to watch the show. Then there are the parents. Questioning themselves over their teen children, wondering if they were good enough, debating over what is right and wrong. I would have liked to see the mothers interact more. They look like they would have become good friends. It's ok, though, if that is left for us to imagine.

The songs and the music deserve a special mention. I liked them all, but most especially the Thank you and Rock and star. I did wonder if the homophobia in the last episode was necessary. But I liked how it was not added just for the sake of it. And how it was resolved. The tears in Mrs. Principal's eyes? Yes, perfect.

I thought nothing could trump Light on Me as far as school stories are concerned but I'm bowled over. It's a complete package - MSP - the story of Gun and Tinn. It reminds us of those love stories that begin in teenage with sweet rosy promises of "together forever". We perhaps looked back and laughed it all off as dumb shit. It was teen love, after all. But then they come true, and we are surprised. "They are still together? How did they make it work? What was in their love that it stood the test of time?" There are so many burning questions!

Like TinnGun or GunTinn?

I have one of my own. What of TiwsonPor?

The most beautiful serie

Honestly, like many people, I started watching this series with no expectations because the plot seemed boring and I didn't know any of the cast, but it ended up being my favorite bl.
I think the best thing about it is the script. It's very well done, there is no part that is boring at all, that's one of the reasons why the series has really high replay value, they can be entertaining without being toxic or misunderstanding. Each episode brings something new that doesn't stretch out for long.
The music is excellent, the performances of the cast are good, especially Fourth, the chemistry is unmatched, it's also very funny without cringe and that is not easy.
Would recommend 100%
