The best lakorn are the one when you least anticipate
Some things I want to point out first that I have a feeling people are going to have an issue with:1. Infidelity/polygamy: I wouldn't necessarily says the ML committed a polygamy relationship nor had an affair. Tai had an amnesia and was led on to think that him and Pin are a married couple. Let alone had this beautiful and romantic relationship which all only exist in Pin imagination. Did Tai chose to be in a relationship with Pin willingly? Naaah. I also don't think Tai was actually in love with Pin during the duration he was married to her. He thought he was married so of course he's going to act the part of a husband.
2. Amnesia: the thing about amnesia plot is you either like it or don't. The good thing is that Tai gradually recalled bit and pieces of his memories. With that said, he didn't get his memories back until episode 12. I personally didn't mind the amnesia, I enjoyed the time he had the amnesia and IMO the plot didn't feel like it was dragged due to the amnesia.
3. Please note this drama do include a sexual assault scene. This may be a trigger and sensitive to some. One thing I will say is that this production did a better job at covering SA than their previous one.
Puen and Chippy seriously have the best chemistry together, it is just on fire! I love how Puen portrayed both of his characters as Tai and Trai. You can definitely differentiate the two identities, Tai who is a hot headed person, cold and tough, someone who was betrayed, and want to avenge his father death. Trai who is calm, soft, understanding and loving. Puen really nailed this role, you can see how good of an actor he is just by how his facial expression and tone shift between the two identities. One thing I really appreciate/love about the ML in this lakorn is how much we can see Tai love for Pla through his actions and feelings. The longing of the lost moments, times and separation whenever he embraces Pla.
Chippy play her role really well too. I love the personality she put in her character as Pla in the beginning. However as the plot starts to develop I find her character quite irrational. How much more does Tai need to show and express that she's the only one he loved and care for. Pla only get dumber by each episode.
This is a lakorn that was done right to my liking. I usually have a lot of things to complain about Thai lakorn, but this is the first lakorn where I feel satisfied. The plot include the typical amnesia, revenge, ML and FL married, and a kid. However with that said I don't recalled a specific lakorn that remind me of Ratee Luang. The plot actually move at such a quick paced in the first few episodes. Tai have his amnesia early on. We barely get enough romantic time between Tai and Pla at the farm. But we did got plenty in the later episodes.
An accident led Tai to have amnesia, and this is when he become Trai. Pin and her aunt led Tai to believe that him and Pin are a married couple. Due to the new identity, Pin, the aunt and Ruj moved Tai to an isolated area away from everyone at the farm. Manager Ruj went along with this scheme because he is in love with Pin and cannot bared to see her in misery. I cannot see how Ruj even like Pin to begin with, there's nothing likeable about her character. They all pretty much isolated Tai from anyone who knew him so that he would not recall his memories and leave Pin.
Six years later Pla also have a child and yes the father is Tai. Destiny eventually brought Pla and Tai/Trai to meet each other when Pla took a job at the place Trai and Pin moved to. Trai start to vividly see moments of a woman in his vision but cannot connect who this mysterious woman is. Trai also feel deeply connected to Pla and often questioned her whether they have known each other before.
I really wish Pin character was written better and not such a crazy, obsession and jealous person.
I can't even like her character nor pity her after what she encountered because of her obsession before and after her incident. However, I fully blamed the aunt for how Pin is. The aunt pretty much enabled her and practically raised Pin to be exactly like her. The aunt is super annoying and I cannot even bring myself to like her as well. I feel like I'm supposed to pitied her after being left on her wedding day but naah she's the worst. The aunt is seriously the sick villian in this drama.
Manager Ruj, I will say I hated his weak character and the way he just go with the flow with the aunt and Pin. However there is still goodness in him. I will says he deem himself worthy toward the end.
If there's one thing for improvement is the editing. There were so many abrupt scene, editing was kind of choppy and it wasn't even just one or two episodes. Nonetheless, this is a lakorn I will rewatch. F.Y.I the last two episodes are kind of messy.
Overall let me just say this, when I want to watch something cute and fluffy I stick with kdrama. If I want something dramatic, nonsensical, complicated, and non-logical I know Thai lakorn is the way to go for this. P.S. the after credit scene are such bonuses when I was watching this on air. If you been watching lakorn for a while then you shouldn't have high expectation as you probably already know how lakorn are. Nonetheless, this is the first lakorn I have finished in 2022 and didn't dropped.

But Cupid and the forces of destiny have other, more magical plans in store for our heartbroken hero. We see him running away from Pla in one of the flashbacks in ep 1, while hiding he angrily watches Pla from afar, with a statue of Cupid right near him with his raised bow. Ultimately...the deep fixation Tai has for Pla-and in his anger of her...steams of desire will grow until he do force and blackmail her into marrying him. Love bloomed without neither of them really expecting in their course of fighting each other. Pla gives him the kiss that awakens him from his cloud of hatred and vengeance. It is such a intense but highly entertaining journey. They are lovers to be tested in this long sweet journey, but as Cupid wills it, "love conquers all".
Romance in "Love and Deception" really worked out for me because Pla and Tai were both interesting characters and together they fired up the screen. Their relationship developement was done and built very well.All props to the actors Chippy and Puen as well, its my first time watching them on-screen and they gave delightful performances. I totally loved the child-actor playing Tan as well, so cute! What i had most problem with this lakhorn was actually the editing. It was good sometimes, but very bad in some other cases which was very obvious in the start and end of this lakhorn.

If you don't like Amnesia plot don't watch
Yes the main plot revolves around ML's amnesia, forgetting the last 6 years of his life.Male lead has been lied & made believe that he's married to another woman while being married to Main FL (at this point he has no memories of his past and he's been told stories about his past, including his name, his ID card)
He accidentally meets his son w/o knowing he's his son, he felt close to him and started to hang around with him
Pla our FL doesn't want them to get close, as she stole money to give it to her sister, any how male lead starts to remember bits and pieces as soon as he meets our FL
But female lead keeps on lying & deceiving him.
Female lead was once a strong & independent woman who worked hard to look after herself & son but she morphed into an opposite of the strong woman after ML coincidentally comes back to her life.
She keeps on listening to her evil sister instead of the man she loves
Yes they were forced to marry each other because of ML’s Dad left a will that they should marry each other to get the money.
Pla FL was always in love with Tai ML but ML was once engaged to FL’s sister, sister dated ML knowing her sister is in love with ML.
Later on she cheated on him with ML’s father & have a hand on his death, she didn’t kill him but she’s responsible
We have a doctor who is madly in love with MFL he wants to be with her & tries every trick in.the book to be with her.
Doctor has an assistant who’s in love with him & sees him as her god, she’s willing to do anything for him.
Lessons to learn for adults don’t force your children to marry someone they don’t love for the sake of money
The cutest thing in this lakorn is Tan, son of Pla & Tai.
It’s not pin annoying but it makes you to feel like throwing stuff into tv screen or you want to pull your hair out, that’s only because of the FL.
Puen is a good actor, you could see he is a different person when he was Trai, (calm, patient, loving & caring) where as Tai is a hot headed man and he’s simply a shy boy as Khao on My Romance from far away.
He was a completely naive boy on Tina Sorn Dao

Fast paced cute drama
Actors in this drama did a very good job . Specifically Tai our male lead firstly he played a hot headed , revengeful guy but later he turned into a calm , caring person very swiftly and his smile is definitely addictive. Our ml loves fl and very clearly states it unlike other dramas since their first drunk sleepover. Also he remains very loyal and responsible toward fl despite fl being so stupid . On the other hand fl 's character was designed to be stupid who doesn't believe and is expression less towards ml and again and agains sides with her sister which is seriously annoying.Unlike other Thai lakorns you don't see forced behaviour from ml despite revenge trope also you will fall in love with ml always thinking of his son and family first and not being revengeful for their happiness. So overall this show is nice to watch and ml is a delite to watch.

Savage girl
This is the 1st time i watch Puen Khanin's drama, i thought i gave it atry since i've many good things about this; and i am not disappointed.Chemistry: explosive
In the drama, their chemistry was electrifying, and I love how they really get along in the real life
And somehow i love girls who fight back to stand up for themselves, unwilling to back down from being bullied even from the one she has crush on.
Story: about the same old stories of forced marriage & being pregnant in the process then separeted & fatefully reunited
Things i like:
1. ML stays true to his heart almost throughout the story
There was 1 time when he was still had amnesia, he almost slept with his fake wife, just because he thought she was really his wife. Other times, ML was strong like an unwavered tower.
2. FL almost always able to fight back against bullies & odds that comes into her life.
Though she tried to run away & hid the truth about their son from the ML, I somewhat can relate to her because she is a mother. Her maternal insticts kicks in whenever she feel insecure about her & her son.
3. The 3rd couple (barber & former hostess) ...though their screen times were not a lot, im glad they find their own happiness in the midst of their own problem
4. im glad the drama touched on the mental issues. People with psychological problem should get help & support from families & friends so they can confidently recover. Many people, especially Asians, think it's a taboo so cover it up only to make things worse. I hope people can be more open & not be afraid to help their loved ones.

Love and Deception drama is a must watch

Another lakorn added to my top-tier list, because I favour the leads anyways so my ratings might come off a bit biased, but oh well they deserve it. The storyline isn’t all that tbh looking from a wide view, but my heart loves these types of cliche, head-boiling dramas so it definitely wasn’t a biggie for me. I mostly came for the chemistry P’Puen and P’Chip give off, ever since THAT lakorn poster, released a year or so back making me await so long, for it to just end in a blink of an eye :( It wasn’t until their love scenes tho. OH. MY. Not just an “aww they kissed” or a random love scene they throw in for the sake of having one, but I actually felt the immense love between Tai and Pla, which often makes me wonder if P’Puen and P’Chip have a thing for each other irl…OopI’ve got to acknowledge that P’Puen’s acting have improved A LOT for someone who has watched him since Sud Kaen Saen Ruk, there are so many different emotions for him to portray and he made it so easy to distinguish between the two characters he plays. Therefore, I’ve already fallen into the fan club trap of Puen Khanin already, with no hints of leaving anytime soon.
As I said, I came for the leads but I left with Nong’Taan stealing away my heart. Little bro carried the lakorn through chaos with his bright character and cute chubby cheeks, leaving me to just adore over everything he does. Credits to whoever casted/chose him into this lakorn because he actually looks like Chippy with some hint of Puen, or am I just too much into this drama that it’s making me delusional. Definitely a bright future for Nong’Ofah, his insta is @ofahofahstory plz support him :)
Okay, to cancel out my “bias-ity” (I guess), the lakorn I’ve got to say, seemed rushed and it was really obvious. I feel like they could’ve spent more time around the beginning, like the lead’s childhood and after Tai and Pla married while living at the Farm. It was just fast-paced and I couldn’t keep up with my own emotions at some point. Most critical part was that, I still can’t enough of Tai and Pla’s love scene haha.
I know that P’Chip is freelancing now but please someone, PAIR THEM UP AGAIN!!!

Not a good drama
Positive:I really liked the cast for this drama. I think they did a really good job and potrayed their character very well. I also liked the first episodes and the theme of this drama.
Negative:
The story was such a mess and i hate the ending. I really wanted to give up on this drama but i hate to drop a drama. Thats why i forced myself to watch every episode with the hope that the story would get better but it only got more complicated. I said previously that i really like the acting but some of the characters are so stupid and so annoying. For example Pla... She did so many stupid things and believed every word from her sister. I mean come one... This woman destroyed your life and made your life harder and Pla ignores everything....
If i am honest i think the person who i really liked the most was Trai and his son. They are the vicims in this story. For example : the betrayel of his father and his wife. He lost so many years with his son and his son had to live with a lie because of his mother. Trai had amnesia and had to live with a person he never loved.... You can see that the story is quite complicated. I do not have a problem if they use amnesia in their plot or if someone betrayed someone but they could have worked on the plot a little bit more... The story just seemed over-the-top and it felt like every kind of cliché was thrown into the story.
I do not really want to go more in detail but i would not recommed this drama.

Bu diziye bayıldım. Khanin ve Sirin'in uyumu muhteşem. Sırf uyumları için izledim desem yeridir. Öncelikle 1. Bölümden başlayayım; İlk sahne Koong ve Pob'un yatak sahnesiydi. Pob Tai'nin babası, Koong ise Tai'nin sevgilisidir. O sırada Tai gelir ve hepsine lanet okur. Ardından Pla onun peşinden gider Tai onun boğazını sıkıp intikam yemini okur. (Bu sahneyi hiç sevmemiştim.) .Pob'un ölümünden sonra Tai'ye miras kalır fakat şart Pla ve Tai'nin evlenmesiydi. Tai ve Pla evlenip kırsala taşınırlar. Pla ilk tanıştığından beridir Tai'ye aşık fakat Tai ve ablası Koong'un ilişkisi olduğu için bunu söylememişti. Pla sarhoş olduğu gün Tai ile birlikte olur. Fakat Tai o zaman Pla'ya aşık değildi neden onunla yattı orayı anlamamıştım. Ardından Tai Koong'n hapse attırmak için peşinden gider. Fakat kaza geçirir ve hafızasını kaybeder. Tai'ye aşık olan üvey kardeşi Pin, Tai ve kendisinin evli olduğuna inandırır ve adını Tai yerine Trai olarak değiştirirler. Fakat gerçekten evlenmemişlerdir çünkü Tai ve Pla hala yasal olarak evlidirler. 6 yıl sonra Tai ve Pla karşılaşır fakat Tai Pla'yı hatırlamaz. Pla ise Pin'in Tai ile evli olduğunu duyunca aşkını kalbine gömer fakat Pla ve Tai'nin Tan adında bir oğlu vardır. Tai ve Tan karşılaşır ve birbirlerini çok severler ama baba oğul olduklarını bilmiyorlardır. Tai gittiçe Pla'ya kendi daha yakın hisseder ve ona aşık olur. Hafızası 11. Bölümde geliyor. Pla, Tai'ye aşık olmasına ve çocuğu olmasına rağmen Tai'yi Pin iyi olsun diye ona gördermek ister çok saçma. Maen teyzede tam bir entrikacı. 6 yıl boyunca Tai'nin hayatını çaldılar. Pin nasıl bir midesiz Tai ve Pla evliyken Tai'ye büyük bir oyun oynadı zaten psikolojik sorunları vardı. Koong ise Pla ve Tai'nin evli olduğunu bilmesine rağmen Tai ile yatmak istedi ve Tai Pla'ya bunu söylediğinde Pla umursamayıp Tai'ye güvendiğini söyledi. Tamam güvenmesi iyi ama ablasını bence dövmesi gerekirdi. Tan çok tatlıydı. Tai ve Pla'ya resmen aşık oldum. Sirin ve Khanin lütfen tekrar partner olsunlar. Diziyi kesinlikle tekrar izleyeceğim. Romance com amnésia e filho secreto, gosta?
não gostei muito do inicio. tiveram momentos e falas que me incomodaram um pouco, mas sabia que teríamos amnésia e filho secreto e são clichês que eu amo então segui. de fato, depois que baby Tan entra na história, ela fica muito melhor, boa parte por causa dele. vou só falar das coisas que gostei.- amei que a mocinha sabia lutar e o mocinho também. era legal ver os dois brigando juntos.
- amei a relação entre pai e filho. amo como ele tentava ser um pai diferente do que o pai foi pra ele mas ao mesmo tempo lembrava do tipo de filho que ele foi e passou a amar e respeitar o pai dele a partir dessa relação. tem uma cena específica no episódio 14 que acho muito linda, sem spoiler, mas quem ver vai saber.
- sim, aqui também temos a típica vilã obcecada pelo mocinho presente em todo lakorn, mas é diferente. ela tem um trauma, e pasmem, ela procura ajuda de uma profissional! e isso é tratado de uma forma muito legal, explicativa, realista. mesmo ela passando do limite as vezes você entende o lado dela, torce pela recuperação dela.
- gostei da transformação do mocinho, antes do acidente ele era explosivo e agia sem pensar, depois ele se tornou um cara paciente e tranquilo, e isso levou a uma das minha coisas que mais gostei desse drama: (talvez um spoiler)
- não tem vingança! eu já até imaginando o slap kiss que isso iria virar depois que o mocinho recuperasse a memória, e descobrisse sobre o filho, mas não! no momento que ele descobriu simplesmente se reuniu com a esposa e vida que segue! mas não, o lakorn não termina ai tá. tem muito mais depois disso :D

Ada beberapa hal yg aku rasa orang lain akan memiliki masalah dengan ini:
1. Perselingkuhan/poligami: Aku ga serta merta mengatakan bahwa Tai melakukan hubungan poligami atau berselingkuh. Tai mengalami amnesia dan dituntun untuk berpikir bahwa dia dan Pin adalah pasangan yang sudah menikah. Apalagi hubungan yang indah dan romantis ini semuanya hanya ada dalam imajinasi Pin. Apakah Tai memilih menjalin hubungan dengan Pin secara sukarela? Naaah. Aku juga ga berpikir kalo Tai benar-benar jatuh cinta sama Pin selama dia menikah dengan Pin. Dia hanya berpikir bahwa dia sudah menikah jadi tentu saja dia akan bertindak sebagai seorang suami.
2. Amnesia: Plot ini soal suka atau tidak suka. Aku pribadi ga keberatan dgn amnesia, aku menikmati saat Tai amnesia dan plotnya ga terasa terseret karena amnesia. Tapi, kalo kalian ga suka hal-hal yang berbau amnesia, jangan coba-coba buat nonton wkwkwk. Bcs plot utama hanya berkisar pada amnesia Tai yang melupakan 6 tahun terakhir hidupnya yang berlangsung sampe episode 12.
Puen-Chippy benar-benar berchemistry! Aku suka gimana Puen ngedescribe kedua karakternya sbg Tai dan Trai. Kalian pasti bisa membedakan dua identitas, Tai yang keras kepala, dingin dan tangguh, seseorang yang dikhianati, dan ingin membalas kematian ayahnya. Trai yang tenang, lembut, pengertian dan penyayang. Puen benar-benar memaku peran ini. Betapa bagusnya seorang aktor hanya dengan bagaimana ekspresi wajah dan nadanya berubah di antara dua identitas. One thing I really like about male lead adalah seberapa besar kita bisa melihat cinta Tai untuk Pla melalui tindakan dan perasaannya. Kerinduan akan momen, waktu, dan perpisahan yang hilang setiap kali dia memeluk Pla. Meskipun dia amnesia, tapi hati dia tuh kuat bak menara yang tak tergoyahkan.
Chippy memainkan perannya juga dgn sangat baik. Aku suka kepribadian yang dia masukkan ke dalam karakternya sbg Pla di awal. Dia hampir selalu mampu melawan pengganggu & peluang yang datang ke dalam hidupnya. Namun, begitu plot mulai berkembang, aku menemukan karakternya agak ga rasional. Berapa banyak lagi yang perlu Tai tunjukkan dan ungkapkan bahwa dialah satu-satunya yang Tai cintai dan sayangi. Malah Pla jadi lebih bodoh di setiap episode. Contoh lainnya, dia terlalu percaya sama kakaknya, padahal kakaknya duri dalam daging. Nyebelin banget ga sih🤣 Tapi aku suka momen saat naluri keibuannya muncul setiap kali dia ngerasa kalo dia dan anaknya ga aman.
Aku sangat berharap karakter Pin dikemas dengan lebih baik dan bukan orang yang gila, obsesif,dan pencemburu. Aku bahkan ga bisa suka sama karakternya atau mengasihaninya sebelum dan sesudah kejadiannya. But, aku sepenuhnya menyalahkan Bibinya atas semua yang terjadi pada Pin, bcs Bibinya tuh cukup memaksa Pin biar persis seperti dia.
Lakorn ini butuh improve, bcs ada begitu banyak scene yang tiba-tiba, editingnya agak berombak dan bahkan ga hanya 1 atau 2 episode. Meskipun demikian, lakorn ini bakalan aku rewatch, maybe hanya karena harmoni Puen-Chippy.
In this lakorn, I got a lots of Cupid references and symbolism. Cinta mekar tanpa salah satu dari mereka benar-benar mengharapkan dalam perjalanan mereka saling bertarung. Ini kategori perjalanan yang intens, but very entertain. Mereka adalah sepasang kekasih yang harus diuji dalam perjalanan panjang yang manis, tetapi seperti yang diinginkan Cupid, "cinta mengalahkan segalanya".
Romansa di "Love & Deception" really worked menurutku, bcs Pla dan Tai tuh karakter yang menarik dan bisa bersama-sama menghidupkan layar. Pengembangan hubungan mereka dilakukan dan dibangun dengan sangat baik. Ini first timenya aku nonton lakorn Puen-Chippy, tapi aku langsung suka mereka berdua bcs mereka saling melengkapi dan ekspresi mereka detail, harmoninya juga luar biasa. But, aku paling suka sama aktor cilik as Tan, sangat imut!
Another thing yg aku suka dari lakorn ini: menyentuh masalah mental. Orang dengan masalah psikologis harus mendapatkan bantuan dan dukungan dari keluarga dan teman agar mereka dapat pulih dengan percaya diri. Banyak orang, terutama orang Asia, menganggap tabu, sehingga hal tsb. hanya ditutupi untuk memperburuk keadaan.
