Fiancee (2013)

For a show centered around an affair and the aftermath, the plot was unexpectedly good. Sadly, the characters weren’t. At first I was rooting for the female lead, but by the end of the show I wanted to slap her. She kept making stupid choices, and kept pushing away the male lead who has been loyal for such a long time. The plot keeps you engaged but some of the scenes leave you dumbfounded by the stupidity of the characters. Every episode I would pull my hair in frustration, but no matter what I would always watch the next episode. This show is strangely addicting, Even if the characters drive you crazy, you need to know how its going to end!

Would I re-watch this? Yes, or at least certain scenes. Hou Zi is the perfect man, and I love how protective he is of the female lead.

Would I recommend this? Only for those who are patient. At the beginning of the show, the female can come across as annoying because of the stupid choices she makes. She grows smarter and makes better choices but it definitely takes patience to make through those first 5-6 episodes.

Well let me see I'm still fairly new at giving my opinion bear with me overall it was a good drama I enjoyed the acting iv seen worse i was by no means put off by the actors acting. I think the story portrays really well what a new couple trying to make it in the big city has to go through definitely think they go through things one might go through in real life of course a bit more in dept of the struggle might have been better. FROM cheating to children, single parent to finding true love. I give it a 7/10 it could have been better but I'm stil satisfied with this story

The plot was nothing new, but good enough.

This was the first C-Drama I ever watched. It wasn't "amazing", but it was good enough to keep me hooked.
By the end of the show, I felt like something was missing. It didn't fit as great as it should, mostly because of two things:
1. Hou Zi was WAY TOO GOOD for Xiao Yi, in every single sense. By the last third of the series you can't help it but feel bad for the guy... and kinda dislike Xiao Yi because all of her poor choices.
2. The ending feels rushed, not because viewers don't wanted Hou Zi and Xiao Yi to be together, but because writters wasted two whole episodes on Tian Fei and his CRAZY-OVERACTED mother. She was the worst part of the series, by far.
Tian Fei should have instantly died. We didn't need her mother's circus. I did't care for Lu's happy ending either, because neither her or Tain Fei had any redeeming qualities.

In general, the plot was nothing new, but good enough. The real problem was in the last few episodes.
