Toxic badass FL, Doormat ML ..
At the beginning I was so happy finally The FL has a Self_esteem, Dignity, freestyle- I'm tired of Stupid, weak and Humiliated Girls who lose her mind, insults herself with Embarrassing acts for crush And love in C-Dramas ..
but Unfortunately, Good things never Complete ..The ML is a Doormat, keep insulting himself for Her. fr !!!!
I think Chinese Writers have some issues, I piss off of Thier writing, Either they create an Arrogant ML insults the stupid FL OR a toxic badass FL insults the dump ML . They have to know what DIGNITY and Healthy relationship means.
I bet no one of those writers were in a relationship Before that's why they don't know HOW to write a Light and creative Love story
I really can't handle FL , she keep hanging out with her Ex then blame ML for literally NOTHING and made him apologize !!!!!!!
FL take advantage of all Males around her (Her boyfriend, Ex , Firefighters.....etc) for her Damn store ..
I like ML's friend he's so cute and funny.. the decorations in drama are amazing as well , FL outfits are chef kiss .. this is the only things I like
for me I didn't see any romance scene made.me flutter or something ..

Hard pass
This is suppose to be a sweet romance series but I couldn’t really like it so much. The female lead seeme to play so many games that I started to find her self centered. Of course we have access to her internal monologue but it didn’t help her character. I found her manipulative and arrogant. She would do things that would bother her partner and she turns it around and he ends up apologizing to her even thought she should be apologizing. The second encounter was terrible as well. She was rude and snobbish to get rid of him. Even the 2FL character was annoying.Sorry, I don’t find the character’s behavior cute, innocent or funny, just arrogant, judgemental and more. I’ll admit, she got better but the games killed it for me.

Well…. Where to start. I was excited to start this drama given the seasoned actors. But it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. There’s no real angst in this drama… any angst is short lived or so questionable that I’d spend an episode trying to figure out what is wrong with the leads and writing my comments on Viki, only to delete them so I’m not being too negative… after all it is almost Christmas!!Initially, I thought the writers were supporting independent and confident women… but then it seemed more like reverse psychology . I’m suddenly sympathizing with the men who are at home cleaning the ladies’ apartments, apologizing for everything, and basically groveling half the time. Was this done on purpose? All the ladies, including the BFF whose sudden transformation was hard to buy into were SO high maintenance . It was overboard.
For such experienced actors, this drama seemed stilted. I FF’d through moments that really shouldn’t have been cringey but sadly there were a lot of those moments. But overall it was ok I guess. Probably lower than at 6.5 but I feel bad for the men so to not further beat them down I’ll leave it at a 6.5!!

One of the Best Mature Drama
I almost cancel my plan to watch this after reading some commentsBut I kept watching it since I'm a big fan of Gulnezar
After watching this till the end, I find it very good
FL is a pure alpha female, She is strong and independent
ML also an alpha male with strong will
Both of them really create a power couple once they started the realtionship
SML & SFL also gives another color to the story and not to forget the annoying 'childhood sweetheart'

got a crush on you - Xu kaicheng.
Another excellent performance by kaicheng. He is steady, unique, adpots a noble, calm, professional, heartwarming posture. Humble, sharp, responses v beautifully, courteously with other colleagues. I need an exquiistev gem of an actor. The setti g is elegant, v realistic. Kai is able to stand out as male lead. v v grateful this drama is finally released. The other actors are v good too. Teamwork is excellent. Music, production, directing are excellent. There is much rewatch value. Really like the setting, storyline, KUDOS to the team and esp kaicheng - always a joy to watch him act. Look forward to many many more shows with his newly signed agency. Kai Cheng is v v handsome, v tall, keep up yr good work.Was this review helpful to you?
Female main character was just too much sometimes, although I guess some of my dissatisfaction is partly due cultural differences.
Still watched all episodes, mainly because of ML.
This is one of the weaker dramas I have seen within the "first responder" theme.
It is mainly the female character that didn't sit right with me, and their interactions. She didn't seem worth it, to be honest!

Unlikeable Female Lead
This series did not seem interesting, but decided to watch it since there's nothing good to watch lately. I was looking for a light-hearted rom-com. This had potential failed due to the unlikeable female lead and lack of chemistry between the leads. I was so tempted to drop during every episode, but I suffered thru the whole thing, skipping A LOT.PROS:
- Two very good looking leads
- ML's grandfather was the best character, genuine and likeable
CONS:
- FL is unbearable. Several other reviewers had the same perspective - she was just not worth all the efforts put in by the ML. She was arrogant, overly stubborn, manipulative, and downright rude at times. She could not convey any redeeming qualities other than intelligence and ambition. She is stunningly gorgeous (probably one of the most beautiful actresses in Cdramas) - but this is the 3rd time I've seen this actress in a series, she is NOT a good actress.
- ML acting wasn't terrible but the character was inconsistent. He started out as a tough, stoic rescue mission leader, former counter-terrorism unit (almost 30 yrs old), but then somehow evolved into a wimpy, love-struck teenager with no boundaries. Followed the FL around like a puppy, tolerated all her insults and games w/out faulting her.
- Leads w/ NO chemistry at all
- All support actors were super annoying, especially the 2nd FL, the BFF. She was intolerable too. And the outdated trope that I can't stand...a good looking person, add glasses to make them look nerdy like the 'ugly duckling' and do makeover removing glasses they suddenly become a beautiful swan. Insulting to viewers.

Well this is why drama should have less episodes
Honestly they ain't much you can say about this drama they had something and fumble the bag what should have been a lovely light rom con turned into a cant even use that word the Fl started of good and then went down hill am not gonna bring up her parents tbh only the dad speech on his birthday made sense i honestly feel its a tradition thing at this point cause every drama always have the hurry and get married trope even if your life ain't together and get back with you ex who abandon you just because he got successful for Ml well i cant say much to be honest he portrayed a guy who has never went in relationship sure people can say he was a wimp but he fell in love and don't wanna fumble should the they have made slightly better but lets be honest none of us are perfect without experience when it comes to love it all depend on how we were raise as for the support cast they were decent to me compare to the braindead ones this drama has its moments but it should just stick to tik tok edit for the drama to make senseWas this review helpful to you?
If you want to watch some good comedy drama with zero sense, you can go ahead!
Seriously, I could barely survive this drama because of three simple reasons : FL's chef kissed costumes, parallel pair's tom and jerry like cute relationship and comedy.I felt zero chemistry between Main leads though they are individually mind blowing actors. I don't know it is just me who feels like this but yeah this was the most disappointing part of the drama.
The drama seems forced, like the whole plot was made forcefully just for the sake of making a drama with two absolutely gorgeous looking actors sorry but that didn't help much!
There are just too many loopholes that you just cannot ignore in the storyline.
If you want to watch good comedy then you can try this one for sure.

Cute story annoying supporting character
Overall I really enjoyed this drama. The female and male lead are very cute together. I loved watching their story unfold. I always love a good story where the male is inexperienced.The two best friends flirting was absolutely adorable as well. Especially when she told the girl from the club that they got married on a whim.
The male leads "sister" character was highly annoying. Her character was childish and overly possessive and backstabbing. I absolutely cannot stand characters like this.
The nephew and grandfather were cute as well.

Captain Su = Li Sang, Captain Lu = Eugene/Flynn Rider
Got a crush on you is a light romance cdrama with strong FL. Despite its flaws, I liked this series.What I liked:
1) I like when drama feature health and fitness scenes. I enjoyed training & mission scenes.
2) Gulnezer Bextiyar & Xu Kaicheng made visually stunning couple. They put in enough passion in their kissing scenes. I really like the scene when Captain Su was hospitalised. I also like that Captain Su is supportive of Xing Chen's professional goals and never stopped her of pursuing her studies despite the challenges that they might face.
3) Captain Su Qing Che is like a Disney prince - Mr Nice Guy archetype! Dashing & guileless. I'd say Su Qingche reminds me of Li Shang. I like that Xu Kaicheng looked like an everyday man with his physique.
4) Lu Qun is a charming sweet talker. He reminds me of Eugene/Flynn Rider.
5) I like the double date scene when Xing Chen offered dating tips to her best friend. It's refreshing to see a confidant woman who isn't shy about picking up men.
What I disliked:
1) Song Xing Chen getting too involved with ex-boyfriend.
2) Mid-point of the series felt draggy.
Favourite scene
When Captain Su, his crew and the volunteers went for training in episode 4 or 5.
