only 10/12 episodes is released yet but i really need to say that i don't like how Zee treat First, i mean come on! you know that your brother likes him, you don't have to but atleast give him a smile or something!!!! and why Sprite isn't telling First about the situation! i don't get it!!!! The next episode is gonna be 11 and all bl fans knows or atleast should know what that means!! I do hope that this serie breaks that and they get a happy 11 episode but im not that sure about that. Sprite, the 'Trojan Horse' of the BL series or the debate around homosexuality in sports (I)

INTRODUCTION
Produced by Lovemedia Thailand, “Twins”, also known as “Two Bodies, One Heart”, was released on November 3, 2023 and consists of 12 episodes. Starring Sprite and First (a couple formed by actors Frame Ritchanon Sriprasitdacha and Ryan Panya Mcshane, respectively), the series shows a love relationship between two young high-performance athletes who mutually discover their homosexuality and accept it as such.
Although innovative in many ways, “Twins” is actually a fairly conventional love story. However, its strength lies in its elegant simplicity and in making visible topics rarely covered in BL series.
Siwasit Phondongnok and Ball Kanathorn Tabvilai came on board this time to direct the series. Both are renowned Thai directors, the former also a screenwriter and assistant director. His creations include “Night Dream”, “Red Wine in the Dark Night”, “Club Friday Season 8: True Love… or Bond”, “Eclipse”, “609 Bedtime Story”, and the two seasons of “Our Skyy” and “Love Area”, among others.
The progression of the story is spot on. The transition from the protagonist's initial fear and uncertainty as he is forced to leave his comfort zone to have to face an unexpected reality to personal improvement is measured. In the new scenario, the protagonist must quickly connect with strangers and with an unknown sports universe, very demanding and competitive because it is a collective and very popular sport, with a high presence in the media, such as volleyball.

RELATIONSHIP OF THE SERIES WITH OTHER AUDIOVISUALS

Since I read the synopsis, before its premiere, “Twins” reminded me of “Not Me”, the famous 2021 GMMTV series, starring White (Gun Atthaphan Poonsawas) and Sean (Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn). In this BL, the story revolves around White, who receives a call from Tod, a childhood friend, to inform him that his twin, Black, whom he has not seen in years, has been betrayed by one of his companions and He is torn between life and death after receiving a severe beating. This is why White will disguise himself as Black and infiltrate the group of friends to find out who the traitor is, while avoiding being discovered.
The main difference between both series is that “Not Me” includes a political background, the fight for human rights and against discrimination, which still exists, towards LGBT+ people in Thailand, and focuses more on suspense and action, while “Twins” has sports as a background and focuses on romance.

INTERESTING

The interesting thing about the series, in addition to the multiple romances, between these three homosexuals and one heterosexual, is the fact that the protagonist has a twin and will try to prevent anyone from discovering his true identity while he impersonates him.
On the other hand, the audiovisual highlights sports espionage, a very common practice today, when one of the volleyball players will spy for an opposing team by gathering sports strategy data for obvious motivations as old as sport and espionage themselves: information, competitiveness, money. “Twins” also shows the communication and interpersonal relationships between athletes and between them and coaches and managers.
It is also striking that the series aims to make visible harassment in sport, the use of violence, blackmail, threats, verbal and physical aggression between athletes, all favored by social pressure, rivalry between players and teams, emotional stability, the type of competition and its importance and the interests that are involved, topics that are rarely addressed in audiovisual productions, much less in BL.
“Twins” also takes an approach to a health issue with little, if not no, treatment in BL, such as the loss of autonomy and temporary disability, as well as the necessary rehabilitation after an accident. That is to say, the series aims to, and succeeds in, making visible problems that help us raise awareness and rethink these realities.
In my opinion, the most significant thing about the series is the possibility of reopening the debate around the secrecy surrounding homosexuality in sports and the fear of discrimination suffered by athletes from the LGBT+ community if they came out of the closet. Since the first athlete to declare herself homosexual, a woman, the French car racer Hélène Van Zuylen, publicly confirmed having a lesbian relationship with the English poet Renée Vivien, in 1898, many others have followed in her footsteps.
Although homosexuality is illegal in Thailand and homosexual athletes are afraid to identify as such for fear of discrimination and social exclusion, among the international elite there are more and more athletes who have declared their homosexuality after several years of hiding it. However, it is a reality that today the commercial image of those who decide to come out of the closet is revalued by becoming icons for the LGTB+ community and symbols of progress in sport as a stage for the visibility of the group.

PLOT

Zee and Sprite are identical twins who were separated in childhood after their parents divorced. Zee has become the star of a university volleyball team with the support of her mother, while Sprite, a brilliant fighter in a jiu jitsu club, has the support of his father. The unfriendly separation of their parents would lead to the siblings being raised separately, not having a good relationship and each one not knowing about the other's life. The story is told from Sprite's point of view.
The relevant sporting results achieved by Sprite arouse the envy of several of his colleagues in the fight club, who conspire to cause him harm and keep him away from active sports. To do this, they will hire some thugs. Unaware that Sprite has a twin, they confuse the brothers and beat up Zee thinking he is Sprite. Under these circumstances, feeling guilty for having caused collateral damage to his brother, who is in a coma in the hospital, and in response to a request from his mother, who perceives that Zee's life is threatened, Sprite is forced to impersonate his identity until he recovers his health and resumes his place.
His secret mission is to preserve Zee's starting position on the volleyball team with a view to becoming part of the Thai national team, and in the process solve the crime for which his brother's life hangs in the balance. Contributing to the deception will be Salmon (Mimi Ruethaiphat Phatthananapaphangkorn), the coach's assistant, a friend of the twins since childhood and Zee's future love interest.
Zee is a self-centered and antisocial character, lacking ties to others, including his own mother. Self-titled “the key to the team,” he despises everyone equally and is rude to his teammates. The arrival of Sprite, with a completely opposite personality, will initially generate friction. Sprite will immediately sense that his brother enjoys prestige for being a good player, but not popularity. Then, your priority will be to gain everyone's trust, while mastering a sport you have never practiced.
Your primary steps will be aimed at gaining First's friendship, since this is your roommate, and will be the person you will spend the most time with. Being friends with the relevant volleyball player and son of the coach would open the way for him to be friends with others. Also needing to master the dynamics of the game and the rules of volleyball, Sprite understands the need to have someone by his side to train with, but without raising suspicions that he has never actually hit volleyball. His life will change when he falls in love with First.
For his part, First, willing not to interact with an insensitive and arrogant person like Zee, whom he has known since when he was taken by his mother for the first time to a volleyball court, when they were both children, will raise a barrier around him that is difficult to overcome penetrate.

SENTIMENTAL HISTORY

As if it were surrendering a fortified city, in an undeclared war, Sprite would first lay siege to it and then launch all its firepower from the catapults and trebuchets until destroying the strong walls that it could not overcome with kindness and good intentions. Like the Achaean army at the siege of Troy, Sprite would employ battering rams and assault towers in a long-awaited attempt to take the besieged city.
Could the creators have intentionally conceived Sprite as the horse-shaped device used by the Achaeans to enter the Troy of the Homeric poems? I would like to think that they designed the character taking into consideration this mythical creation or, if it existed, the war machine transfigured by the chroniclers' fantasy, introducing an important variation in the myth for the conception of our hero: it would not be a destructive deception.
It would be Jack, Mike, Sam, Deddeaw, Tom, Ko and other talented athletes who would take the spirited wooden steed as a sign of their victory, introduce it inside the walls about to be demolished and take it to the volleyball courts without knowing that inside was hidden a boy willing to love another boy, without foreseeing that instead of a fierce warrior prepared to kill, a young man capable of dying of love would emerge from the hollow ambush.
Thus begins a sexy game of cat and mouse with increasing sexual tension. Sprite would never suspect that his feelings would soon change and that friendship would turn into love. In this way, the old and classic trope of “enemies to friends and friends to lovers” is gradually woven.
Sprite has to alternate volleyball training with his combat sport practices, which he does not give up. Exercising volleyball during the day and jiu jitsu at night exhausts him physically and mentally. On and off the field of play, Zee's coldness and arrogance are quickly overcome by Sprite's simplicity and sociability. Little by little the twin will create strong bonds of friendship, loyalty and camaraderie with the young athletes.
The best moment of each day for Sprite is when he arrives at his bedroom at night. Despite being tired after endless training sessions, he seeks to create a deep connection with First. He always receives a cordial and friendly “Zee” with suspicion. This will make him doubt why his roommate is acting so strange. “Has Zee gone crazy or have they changed people?” First would surely think on more than one occasion.
Step by step, Sprite will get closer to First, break the ice and end up falling in love with him. Both will discover love for the first time in their short lives. Although Sprite was always the one to initiate the flirting, it will be First who first confesses to being in love when he assures him that he didn't know when he started having feelings for him, but it bothered him when Sprite was around other people. “Is it jealousy? “Does this mean I like you?” he will ask you point-blank.
However, First will frequently be plagued by uncertainty as to whether Sprite really loves him or is playing with his feelings, since on several occasions he observes him in a romantic attitude with Salmon, unaware that the person who is interacting with the girl at that time is the real Zee. This will cause jealousy and misunderstandings, fueled by Sprite's inability to still recognize who he really is. Their relationship becomes tense, suffocating at times. The love between them will also be put to the test, towards the end, with the arrival of a friend of First, who has secretly been in love and intends to win him over.
Once Zee has recovered, Sprite will ask him to allow him to continue impersonating him for a while longer. When asked why, Sprite will confess to his brother and Salmon that the reason is having fallen in love with First and wanting to stay by her side to get to know each other better.
What many BL fans will like about the sexy series that doesn't shy away from showing passion and bare torsos, are the sizzling relationship scenes. You will be pleased to know that the two main actors, with well-sculpted bodies, have numerous passionate exchanges whether in the bedroom, on the volleyball court, the dining room or the hallways of the building, secretly, although in view of others.
Their kisses and looks are passionate; and their sexy interactions are highlighted with a refined cinematic style. Every time they kiss, look into each other's eyes, touch each other's bodies or make love, there is an elegant atmosphere that creates an intimate and pleasant atmosphere. The stage is not broken even in the moments of greatest hostility. The sexual tension that surrounds the boys is vivid, palpable, and demonstrates the chemistry between the characters.
These performers feel very comfortable with each other, immersing themselves in the physical relationship in a sensual and aggressive way. The artists do a convincing job and make their attraction seem authentic.
Frame does a plausible job of showing multiple emotions from the first to the last scene, from a contemplative look to one of surprise, from suppressed anguish to the euphoric cry of triumph, from hesitation to complete self-confidence, from a cute sulking to an expression of placidity, from the pose of an innocent person to that of an aggressive appearance, from the confusion of a frightened fawn to the attitude of a lion ready to devour its prey. That says a lot about his acting ability.
However, in my opinion, the character played by Ryan is the most adorable of all. Behind his taciturn, doubtful, desolate appearance most of the time, first because he cannot understand the behavior of the boy he believes is Zee, and then because he thinks that the person he loves is playing with his feelings, there is an immense honest human being, loving, hopeful, principled, true to himself and others, especially Zee.

OTHER HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS

Sam (Team Tatchanon Thongpao), the team's libero, has been secretly in love with Zee for years. The Zee now before him disturbs and confuses him. He can't understand it. He will soon understand that he has no hope, as he is the only one to realize that Sprite loves First. Pursuing him, Sam will meet Thun (Pooh Phiangphor), Sprite's best friend and fight club partner. Another homosexual relationship is that of Jack and Mike (played by Tuss Thotsawat Sing-uppo and Ten Apivit Ueamahasopa, respectively). This is the only romantic couple on the team upon Sprite's arrival. The romance they live is not exploited to the fullest. There is constant tension between the two boys without the reason for this being clearly explained, and their characters lack development and time on screen. Their love affair is only shown in sporadic sexual dalliances. Will Jack's dreams of deepening the relationship come true or, on the contrary, will it remain the same as it has been until now, as Mike suggests?

AS AN EPILOGUE

Towards the conclusion of the series, the viewer's fatigue is noticeable due to the delay in Sprite revealing his true identity to First and putting an end to mistrust once and for all. The creators overlong the suspense caused by the crime and the resulting lie, since it is assumed that the deception will be revealed once it is discovered who hit Zee and the danger is then eliminated, but he fails to advance the investigation for much of the story. series, dedicated at the last minute to pursuing Salmon. She will be in charge of discovering how to unmask the culprits.
Perhaps two fewer episodes would have given the possibility of reaching the climax sooner and would have been useful to round out the story with more nuances, add depth to the events and the development of the characters.
However, I commend Sprite for sticking to his moral convictions and keeping the fraud a secret until the right time to reveal it. His character would have seemed pathetic if, out of love for First or a quick return to his favorite sport or fear of the ruse being discovered, he had unmasked himself when his mission was not yet finished. I'm glad Sprite stood up for his principles, even when it could ruin his love relationship and inner peace. I respect and admire the never-die spirit of his character.
The truth will cause the wall that previously separated the two to rise once again in front of Sprite and First, who were always positioned on the same side of the playing field.
Will Sprite manage to accomplish his secret mission? What will happen to Sprite and First's relationship when the latter discovers that the person he loves has cheated on him? Will the two be able to stand again on the same side of the volleyball field or will they have to content themselves with looking at each other, as rivals, each from the opposite area, through a rectangular mesh one meter wide by 9.50 meters long located 2 10 meters high? Will the 'Trojan Horse' manage to penetrate and conquer the fortified wall again?

Une série légère et agréable sans prétention (et la découverte de nouveaux visages)

En commençant Twins, je n'avais pas d'attente particulière si ce n'était de m'amuser dans un drame sportif. Je me répète, mais j'adore la thématique du sport et les productions qui tournent autour. Le topo avait l'air amusant, alors pourquoi pas ?

Je vais commencer par les acteurs/personnages, parce que je n'arrive pas à comprendre pourquoi quasiment tout le monde a décidé qu'ils étaient mauvais ? La dernière fois que j'ai apprécié un drama thaï avec des acteurs débutants c'était The Yearbook (de mémoire, elle peut me faire défaut). Ici, nous avons une grande majorité d'acteurs débutants, dont les deux acteurs principaux (je considère Ryan comme un rookie, car c'est son premier rôle principal) et même si ce n'est pas parfait, c'était bien mieux que certains acteurs réguliers de BL thaïlandais de ces dernières années. Et surtout, ça fait tellement plaisir de voir de nouveaux visages.

C'est vrai, les personnages ne sont pas les pommes les plus mûres du panier.
Zee/Sprite qui ne sait plus jouer du jour au lendemain et qui tente de copiner avec son équipe, personne ne trouve ça louche... Zee est une tronche de cake. Sprite est plus sympathique même si je reconnais avoir eu un peu de mal au début. On fait facilement la différence entre les deux grâce à leur caractère bien distinct. Et de toute façon, Zee ne sait que faire la tronche.
Pour un premier rôle, Frame Ritchanon Sriprasitdacha ne s'en sort pas trop mal. Son jeu est un peu forcé et il semble raide dans sa gestuelle, mais c'était assez décontracté pour une première. J'attends de le revoir dans un futur projet.

First est mon personnage préféré. J'ai adoré la façon dont il parle en silence. Les mots dans les yeux. Le pauvre gars s'est fait balader par les jumeaux sur toute la ligne, mais il garde son calme parce que depuis le début, on ne le montre pas comme un sang chaud. À mes yeux, c'est le personnage le mieux écrit. Je sais que pas mal de personnes ont boudé le fait qu'il pardonne vite et que tout arrive très tard, mais comme l'a mentionné Fan2Dramas dans son avis, le fait de voir au fil de la diffusion ou de tout voir d'un coup peut nuancer la façon dont on perçoit l'ensemble. Et comme la vérité se dévoile tardivement, on ne va pas non plus pleurer pendant des heures.
Ryan Panya Mcshane était excellent dans son rôle. J'espère sincèrement le revoir dans un nouveau projet très prochainement et dans un rôle principal, évidemment. Le gars possède un vrai potentiel qui ne devrait pas être ignoré plus longtemps. J'ai même envie de croire qu'il pourrait être excellent dans des drames quotidiens thaï. Franchement, il a un truc.
Ryan est ma petite découverte de ce drama. D'une certaine façon, j'ai vu en lui ce que j'avais adoré en Man Trisanu Soranun (Jeng de Step by Step). Je n'ai absolument aucune explication pour ça, mais je voulais le mentionner... Quoique, j'ai adoré Man dans des costumes et j'imagine que First serait tout aussi élégant. Bref.

Pour la romance des deux zozos. L'alchimie entre les deux est là. Peut-être qu'elle n'est pas au point de faire exploser le thermomètre, mais elle est là et ils sont bons ensemble. Ils ont fait en sorte que ça fonctionne. Leurs baisers sont sublimes (celui de l'after-nuit-coquine dans les draps est si simple, mais si mignon). J'ai adoré me moquer des répliques clichées et ringardes à double sens et plus simplement de ce qu'ils dégageaient. C'était amusant !

Les autres personnages/acteurs sont tout aussi bons. J'ai apprécié la dynamique de l'équipe de volley. Pour ceux qui ne sont pas fans des drames de sport, il ne fait aucun doute qu'ils pourront quand même passer un bon moment. Le sport est présent, mais ne devient pas étouffant. Le drame n'est pas centré autour du volley et du jujitsu. Mon seul regret est la disparition d'un personnage, mais sans en savoir plus.

Au sujet de l'histoire...
Ok, ce n'est pas parfait. Des tas de choses se produisent sans qu'on ne sache vraiment pourquoi. Certains rebondissements ne ne surprennent personne. On n'a pas de suite quant aux conséquences des actes de tels ou tels personnages. Pourquoi Zee est-il aussi aimable qu'une râpe a fromage ? Tong et Boy ont des motivations pitoyables. Les parents sont... Bah, ils existent et voilà. Les quiproquos entre First et Sprite/Zee - First, t'es mignon, mais connecte deux neurones une petite seconde, tu veux bien ? Les malentendus ont un peu alourdis l'ensemble, c'est vrai.
Cependant, mon principal regret concerne la relation des jumeaux qui n'est pas exploitée alors qu'il y avait de quoi faire quelque chose. Pas forcément dans un style "tout est bien qui fini bien" et tout le tralala, mais avoir un peu plus de matière.
D'ailleurs, pourquoi les gens ont-ils décidé que Twins était un Not Me 2.0 ? D'accord, y'a un échange de jumeaux et c'est tout, littéralement ! Les deux séries n'ont rien en commun. Dans un autre monde, peut-être qu'elles seraient potes, mais en attendant, chacune est dans son propre monde sans rien en commun. À ce compte là, je peux dire que Twins est un You're My Sky 2.0. Sauf que non, toujours pas. Mais pourquoi ? Les deux séries ont la thématique du sport en commun. Mais toujours pas, non. Bref, je m'étale pour rien sur ce point alors qu'en réalité, on s'en fiche.

Pour résumer, Twins n'est pas parfait. Oui, Twins est avec des acteurs débutants. Et c'est vrai, quelques scènes n'étaient pas utiles sans parler des erreurs sur les intrigues. Pourtant, cela ne lui enlève en rien son côté divertissant. D'autant plus qu'il tente/offre quelque chose de nouveau plutôt qu'un énième BL scolaire avec des dialogues qui n'ont plus rien de surprenant et où le casting devient le caméo d'un caméo étant lui-même un caméo.

PS : Bon bah... Je me suis (encore) laissé aller, hein. Désolée.

Idée pas super bien exploitée mais sympa quand même

Après My Dear Gangster Oppa, voilà un deuxième BL dont pas mal de critiques négatives ne m'avaient pas vraiment donné envie de le visionner alors que j'aurais mieux fait de ne pas les lire du tout. C'est vrai que l'histoire manque parfois de cohérence, mais j'ai envie de dire que c'est le cas de nombreux dramas où on retrouve une inversion de jumeaux : l'un d'eux s'imagine qu'il va pouvoir remplacer l'autre comme ça, les doigts dans le nez alors qu'il faut de longues années de pratique pour parvenir au même niveau de volley-ball/parkour/n'importe quel talent qui vous passe par la tête, et l'entourage semble affecté d'une incroyable bêtise pour ne pas avoir remarqué plus tôt qu'un truc ne tourne décidément pas rond et que ça défie toute logique. Mais bon, on va gentiment passer dessus parce que ça reste une fiction aux ficelles certes grosses, vues et revues, mais que ça contribue également à une certaine densité dramatique et on ne va pas se mentir, c'est aussi pour cette raison qu'on mate ce genre de dramas. Oui, ça aurait pu être mieux exploité. N'empêche qu'ils ne s'en sortent pas trop mal, et rien que le fait que l'industrie du BL se diversifie de plus en plus en nous proposant des scénarios désormais variés et plus qualitatifs au niveau de la musique, du décor et des intrigues, je trouve ça positif et ça me pousse à regarder ces nouvelles productions avec une certaine bienveillance.

Alors franchement, j'ai bien aimé. On ne va pas dire que le jeu d'acteurs est particulièrement folichon mais l'histoire est sympathique, les raisons pour lesquelles Sprite remplace son frère restent logiques et on suit avec intérêt ce BL qui parvient à mélanger de manière efficace romance et sport sans jamais nous bassiner avec des scènes de classes, ce qui est déjà en soi un exploit quand on sait qu'ils tous sont censés être à l'université. Les acteurs principaux et secondaires s'en sortent plutôt bien dans les scènes intimes (on a même droit à une mini-scène bonus juste après le générique de fin du dernier épisode), le héros sait se montrer émouvant et j'aimerais beaucoup le revoir dans un autre drama (pour l'instant cette série est la seule figurant sur sa fiche MDL) et je ne doute pas qu'avec un peu de pratique il saura améliorer son jeu parfois un peu forcé quand il interprète Sprite. Le contraste entre un mec super enjoué et son jumeau glacial et antipathique n'a visiblement pas été simple à jouer pour l'acteur, ce qui explique qu'il en fait parfois un peu trop et que ses sourires paraissent plus crispés que naturels dans un certain nombre de scènes, mais vu qu'il sait aussi se montrer chaud comme la braise quand il le faut, on ne va pas trop lui balancer des pierres, ça abîmerait sa jolie frimousse.

Les critiques de ce drama concernent souvent la déception d'une partie de l'audience au sujet du maintien sur plusieurs épisodes du secret de l'inversion des jumeaux alors que First souffre de l'attitude distante voire agressive de Zee, une fois ce dernier revenu à mi-temps dans l'équipe. Le temps a paru très long à celles et ceux dont le cœur saignait pour ce pauvre First, et sans nier ce ressenti , il est important de nuancer cette impression. A mon avis cela vaut surtout pour ceux qui ont regardé la série au rythme de sa diffusion, et non pas ceux qui comme moi l'ont visionnée d'une traite. Quand on attend chaque semaine avec impatience que la romance se développe et de voir le quiproquo se résoudre enfin, c'est vrai que ça peut être frustrant. L'ayant pour ma part regardée sur deux soirées, mon impression n'a pas été la même, d'autant que les scènes où Zee se montre désagréable avec First sont finalement très peu nombreuses (de mémoire, deux ou trois tout au plus sur les 5 derniers épisodes) et que non, Zee ne l'a pas fait exprès pour le mettre mal à l'aise, d'ailleurs un bref dialogue ultérieur nous fait comprendre que s'il était au courant que Sprite avait craqué sur son coéquipier, en revanche il semblait ignorer que les deux avaient déjà couché ensemble. Et plus je regarde des séries BL, plus je me rends compte que lorsque la série ne casse pas spécialement des briques, le niveau de déception est directement impacté par le rythme de visionnage : dans ce cas, mieux vaut attendre la sortie de tous les épisodes pour éviter la frustration. Sinon on a tendance à se focaliser négativement sur tous les détails et les scènes qui ne sont pas directement liées à la romance (mais qui apportent néanmoins un background nécessaire), et ça nous gave parce qu'au final, ce qui nous intéresse principalement c'est bien l'histoire d'amour qu'on voudrait voir avancer tout de suite et non pas la semaine prochaine. Un visionnage d'une traite ne produit pas le même effet puisqu'on gère soi-même l'enchaînement des épisodes, on sait de toute façon que l'histoire finira bien, ainsi tout ce contexte génère moins d'impatience et notre impression générale est un peu plus positive. Bien sûr, cela reste une question de point de vue, c'est en tout cas ce que j'ai analysé de mes ressentis selon que je regardais la série pendant sa diffusion ou après la sortie de tous les épisodes.

Quoi qu'il en soit, bien que la série n'ait rien d'exceptionnel et qu'on puisse parfois regretter certains rebondissements un peu trop convenus, elle reste sympathique à suivre, et nous présente des personnages plutôt fouillés dont les motivations sont logiques même si elles paraissent stupides au premier abord. Certes, on peut observer certaines longueurs, et ils auraient pu mieux exploiter l'idée (en nous présentant par exemple des scènes comiques, au lieu de se focaliser sur les habituelles difficultés du héros à atteindre le niveau de son jumeau), mais ce BL a le mérite d'explorer un nouveau contexte (une équipe de volley-ball) qui ne se contente pas d'être un simple prétexte mais est suffisamment développé pour que ce soit intéressant à suivre. Si on accepte de fermer les yeux sur quelques absences de crédibilité, surtout en ce qui concerne la cécité de l'entourage, on passe un bon moment devant cette petite romance sans prétention au casting relativement débutant, et qui a su s'écarter des traditionnelles crétineries universitaires pour nous offrir un peu de nouveauté.

Entretenida

Puede que no sea de mis series favoritas, pero es una serie amena. De enemigos a amantes, nada nuevo, con un toque medio de humor, no demasiado profunda. Me gusta porque me está ayudando a desconectar y a pasar un rato entretenido cuando no quiero pensar en nada.

Al principio pensé que era como "Not me" pero en realidad aunque la base es más o menos la misma todo lo demás es bastante diferente, la historia, la manera de explicarla, los personajes, etc.

Algunas actuaciones creo que valen la pena y otras son bastante mediocres. Si quieres ver una obra de arte, está no es tu serie, si quieres pasar un rato entretenido, sí.

Bem básico mas divertido de acompanhar

Já conhecia Twins antes do lançamento e não esperava mt da série, e apesar de ter uma atuação bem meia boca e uma direção não muito boa, foi divertido de assistir!
O enredo é bem divertido, e apesar dos diversos pontos negativos eu gostei bastante de acompanhar os lançamentos de cada ep.
Eu como uma vôlei fã, achei que eles abordaram o vôlei de forma bem trivial, mas que não me incomodou tanto.
O enredo de gêmeos que trocam de lugar foi bem legal e diferente. O casal principal são mt queridos, gostei de acompanhar a jornada dos dois.

Por fim, é uma série bem básica msm, um bl bom pra quem só que distrair e assistir uma coisa mais variada.
Apesar de ter dado uma não tão boa por conta dos vários problemas, foi um bl que eu não esperava nada e por fim acabei me divertindo assistindo.

Eu particularmente já não sou muito fã de histórias que envolvem esporte porém só assisti até o fim porque os atores tem lá o seu carisma, esticaram ao máximo um plot, batido chato e sem sentido de troca de gêmeos nada que todos já não tenham visto várias vezes por aí enrolaram ao máximo para contar para o First e quando contou aconteceu o que? nada, aí me pergunto enrolou tanto para que? e no fim óbvio que várias pontas soltas.
espero que esse canal invista em roteiros melhores nas próximas porque por incrível que pareça até que teve adesão de muitas pessoas.

Uma versão barata de Not Me

Não é uma série boa, mas é aquele tipo de série que você só desliga o cérebro e aproveita porque se começar a pensar muito o negócio desanda.

Os atores são todos muito carismáticos e a história tem um ritmo interessante que não te deixa entediado e todas as interações do Sprite com o First são o que realmente funcionam nessa série.

Mas o roteiro é uma bagunça e isso vai ficando evidente com os episódios. É uma série muito crua e não existe nuance, não existe construção e tampouco desenvolvimento. Os tópicos são jogados em cena e resolvidos com uma facilidade que não me agrada.

E esse é o problema. Falta de desenvolvimento, excesso de personagens e tramas que não acrescentam nada e um roteiro cheiro de furos e conveniências. Só um exemplo aqui: Sprite e Zee são ambos estudantes, mas a gente nunca vê eles na faculdade e nunca há qualquer menção sobre como o Sprite consegue acompanhar as aulas dos dois. É algo irrelante pra trama, mas serve para mostrar o nível de descomprometimento com a história.

O casal secundário mal tem tempo de tela ou construção. O terceiro casal só existe porque eles queriam cenas de dois homens sem camisa se beijando. Toda a traição do Ko, o drama com as fãs do Zee e o vazamento da foto com a Salmon, o pai alcoólatra do Jack, a mãe doente do Tom, a briga com o Tong, os problemas familiares do Zee e Sprite NADA disso é desenvolvido ou tem qualquer impacto na trama. E eles simplesmente jogam isso e depois resolvem de qualquer forma e ta tudo certo.

É uma série que funcionaria se não se levasse tão a sério. Mas com um roteiro péssimo e uma história que enrola até o último minuto com os personagens tomando uma decisão mais burra que a outra, fica difícil de defender. Começa muito bem e divertida, mas se perde totalmente na reta final.

Ótimo Plot péssima execução

Recentemente muitas séries BL tem saído da caixinha de faculdade e escola e explorado diferentes temáticas. Séries com gêmeos não são mais uma novidade, mas com vôlei sim (pelo menos para mim) e foi justamente isso que me chamou atenção, fiquei curiosa e decidi assistir sem saber o que esperar.

Somos apresentados a Sprite e Zee, gêmeos que aparentemente foram criados separados e por causa de um conflito Sprite precisa assumir a vida de Zee para que ele não perca sua posição no time de vôlei (Mesmo que isso signifique comprometer a sua própria vida).

O que mais me irritou na serie foi o favoritismo e enaltecimento do Zee a todo momento, mesmo que ele seja um personagem desprezível e que a todo momento só se importa com si mesmo, e com um caráter totalmente questionável do inicio ao fim. Eu diria que ele facilmente poderia ser colocado como vilão na história. Enquanto isso, o Sprite sempre esta em uma posição de culpado, quando na verdade a maioria dos conflitos da série acontecem por culpa do Zee, mas quem tem que lidar com elas é o Sprite.

Já Sprite é totalmente o oposto de seu irmão, um personagem extremamente carismático e que me tirou risadas sinceras. Apesar de não ser tratado na história o Sprite sempre tentar lidar com tudo sozinho e as vezes até colocar as necessidades dos outros acima das suas. E como nesse caso o enredo perde várias oportunidades em desenvolver o arco dos seus personagens.

A história seria muito mais interessante se eles tivessem trabalhado mais nos personagens e suas relações, já que temos muitos, mas muitos personagens, relações e até conflitos que não são desenvolvidas e acabam por não ter importância nenhuma no enredo mas tomam muito tempo de tela, como por exemplo a mãe dos gêmeos que claramente se importa mais com a reputação de Zee do que com ele mesmo, a série simplesmente joga essa bomba e nunca mais você vai ouvir falar sobre esse conflito, que seria muito importante para o desenvolvimento do personagem.
(NOTA: Legal que ela não se importou em Sprite se sentir sobrecarregado em viver as duas vidas, mas a série ignora isso. Favoritismo? Nunca!)

Sem contar os casais secundários que são um VERGONHA. Os atores são perfeitos com uma química excepcional, mas sem importância NENHUMA! Jack e Mike foi um casal jogado somente para proporcionar cenas quentes, Sam e Than só existem. Ambos casais são totalmente desconexos do roteiro, se pular todas as cenas deles a série continua a mesma, isso é muito triste.

(NOTA: Agora vamos falar do casal principal, já digo que eu me apeguei pelos dois e principalmente pelo First.)

O relacionamento de Sprite e Frist é um "enemies to lovers" em um "slow burn" e eu particularmente amo esses tipos de romance que se desenvolvem devagarinho. Esse carinho que tive pelo casal fez eu ficar com muito ódio do Sprite e mais ainda do Zee, vou explicar o porquê... First é um personagem muito sincero e ele tem muita fé e confiança nas pessoas, principalmente em Sprite ( que ele pensa ser Zee). Quando o Zee volta para assumir seu lugar, ele sabe que Sprite se apaixonou por First e que eles tem um caso, E MESMO ASSIM ele ignora e diz coisas cruéis para First. Ele é um desgraçado total! A cada episódio que passa First fica cada vez mais abalado com essas oscilações de Zee/Sprite. O PIOR é que Sprite vê como First está com tudo isso e SIMPLESMENTE IGNORA e tenta compensar nos dias em que ele finge ser Zee. Resumindo, eles dois acabam com o psicológico de First.
Quando Sprite finalmente contou que ele e Zee eram pessoas diferentes (F: Poxa todo esse dano psicológico que vocês me causaram foi a toa? Que engraçado!) eu quis muito que First desse um soco na cara dele, mas infelizmente não foi o que aconteceu, de qualquer forma ele deu uma resposta satisfatória (Mas essa cena não importa porque a história segue como se essa cena não tivesse acontecido, maravilha!)

Perto do fim é perceptível que a história tinha que ser finalizada logo, mas se tirassem as mil cenas TOTALMENTE DESNECESSÁRIAS de personagens TOTALMENTE DESNECESSÁRIOS dava tempo de fazer um bom final. O que nos restou para a conclusão foram acidentes inofensivos, reviravoltas que ninguém se importa e reconciliações insatisfatórias.

Por fim, a série é cheia de furos, tramas não finalizadas e cenas desnecessárias, mas em contrapartida é uma série muito engraçada, com personagens carismáticos e bem interpretados, casais fofos e quebra de estereótipos no mundo dos BLs. É uma série para desligar a mente e ativar seu modo bobo, passar raiva e aproveitar.

Eu gostei e me diverti, assistiria de novo.
