Found the start not to my liking but after a couple of episodes it got better.It's a Sweet romance with a Super cute FML and the ML is very sweet to her.
I was abit disappointed that the FML character wasn't more confident in herself and was kinda Naïve. I wish she would have stood up for herself abit more, but it was kinda sweet that the ML always held her hand and protected her.
Crazy 2FML!
there is something really annoying with the fact that they are always so insane, can anyone please write a 2FML character that won't hear "i don't even like you" and translate it in her head to "I'm in love with you let's get married" ?!?! There is something seriously wrong with that.

Watch to the end!
Found the start not to my liking but when the ML fell for her it was a very sweet love story till the end. Worth the watch. I have not seen the ML in many dramas and he acts well.After so many fantasy and not so good acting dramas. This is the kind of drama to enjoy and relax with.
I really dont know how to write 500 words hahaha but trust me give it a go!

Cute, Funny, Worth Watching
A cute and funny drama. As many obsess girls that are in this drama who wants to break them up, I admire that the leads kept each other together even when they are just fake dating. The female lead is silly but strong and a leader. I like that the lead male is the first one to realize he likes her and stop denying his feelings. I did not agree with all the story but the characters kept me interested. At least it did not start it with the leads hating each other. They dislike each other but quickly things change. Still wondering how the leads even fell for each other
A typical cliche contract relationship story between an idol and a normal girl with only new thing is the ALS disease. Plot is predictable as this type of concepts isn't even knew but what make the viewers want to watch a drama with a similar concept is how they execute it, which in this case just lacks.ML for the first 14ish episode is just a childish, impulsive, bossy 27yr old guy, who knew nothing but to act jealous. His attitude was so ridiculous that I wondered how the FL even fell for him. The whole premise which leads to the start of their contract relationship was unbelievable and ridiculous. The ML wanted to talk to the FL about something and asked for her address despite knowing that she was drunk. Then the same guy who knew that media was after him, roamed around the restaurant ( and throughout the whole drama without a mask, cap, shades to hide himself) to the female lead in bare face and then took her to a hotel. My question was why? Just why? Even when they were running together after the very first encounter dude was barefaced and to top it off holding her hand. Really?? What the need of that? It seemed like the director didn't have a way to get them together so used this ridiculous ways instead.
FL was a bubbly, cute and optimistic girl who was trying to live in the present before she dies cause of her illness. She is ML's die hard fan and cares a lot about him. Everything is fine untill the FL decides to help the ML while pretending to be his girlfriend when he made it look like the leak of their pics were her fault when she was the one who was drunk and that guys was literally roaming around the place barefaced. And the FL said yes. I mean you are living a normal peaceful life and have your own dreams, why would you even suddenly want to destroy your peace and get engaged with a celebrity and expose yourself in front of the media just to make your like more complicated. If that isn't dumb then idk what is when it was clearly shown that although the FL wasn't rich but wasn't poor either and there wasn't any emergency financial need. And let's not forget how pathetic she was when the ML bossed her around, made her his maid, manipulated her, fooled her, destroyed her plans while she herself was annoying as hell still they somehow fell for eachother. That's the question all along How?
2ML and FL was straight up and annoying and the 2FL was those obsessive ex's who can't get over a man and can't take no for an answer. I skipped their parts till the end and trust me you'll save your time and won't miss a thing.
Side couples were annoying as hell too so skipped.
Only likeable character was the manager mr bao of the ML as sometimes he made me laugh but thats it.
The story completely flipped with the OTP couple when they got together as the ML suddenly became a whole husband material and as for the FL she was in love with him from start to end. Trust me there was no chemistry between them.
Then atlast as usual everyone became friends again and the drama ended.
The OST was bland in comparison with the fact that the drama was based on an idol who is a singer and songwriter so expected better OST's.
I don't recommend this drama as I've skipped everyone except the leads and even they were annoying and as usual the FL was a doormat.

Cute "cliche" contract romance ..... fell short
This drama had some potential but it ended up falling short! I think because the main genre has been done so many times, a contracted marriage/relationship between a star and a normal person. It doesnt bring much excitement. I mean what is new about this is the female lead has ALSI actually quite like the female lead's personality, cute, sweet, bubbly despite knowing she will eventually one day die of ALS. She remains very optimistic and friendly.
I dont like the female star , who was the male lead's ex gf, and the male lead's ex band mate ( who happens to also like the female lead) They are kinda annoying...
As for the storyline its pretty cliche. They get together to cover up a scandal, they have to act very lovey dovey and eventually fall in love, but the female lead doesnt want to ruin the life of the male lead with her sickness.
Cute moments when they are trying to film their mv, but after that it lost interest for me..so i end up dropping..

LOVE
It's kinda different for me at first but i watched it. I usually skip like 10 seconds for sometimes in a series and this is the 2nd series that i don't always do it. Love the story. Loving someone with full heart and never gave up is the best thing anyone could have. The FL and ML share a story and share love. I love their sweetness and love to watch them together. Love the innocence of the FL but I think and hope that some toughest should have been showed by the FL even at the end. But it's okay. sometimes, I wonder what happened to them. Well, creating their story in mind would be great!Must Watch??? YES good series.. you won't regret it

Cute Drama
I liked this drama. The ML was willing to marry and take care of his girlfriend/wife knowing that eventually she would be completely disabled and eventually pass on. That is commendable. That is the kind of guy most women want. Someone who will take care of you and be with you until the very end. Acting could have been better but take into account that the actors are relative newbies. The FL was spot on with the emotional roller coaster of knowing she had a disease that can’t be cured. Her behavior was sometimes childish. Her character is relatively young. The parents really take acting award in this one when they find out their daughter is sick. The 2nd ML was childish at the very least. He wanted to be with her for selfish reasons. The villain in the drama was so annoying. You know the acting is good when you want to smack the female villain into next week for her behavior. The second lead couples were not all that interesting to watch. I gave it 9 stars because of the theme of the drama. The lead couple was sweet and had a commendable relationship. Bringing awareness to this horrible disease was a good thing. So many people take for granted how good they have it in life. The ending was as good as can be expected for FL situation. I don’t know if it’s a rewatch for me. A beautiful story ruined by a bad script
I was so looking forward to watching much more after only seeing the first 10 episodes but the script was ruined by writing the FL lead as someone so scared and timid to run to the protagonist instead of trusting herself and he love for the male lead, so disappointing so final thoughts on this is that I could not stand it and dropped it. The FL lead had such a love for the ML but the script failed so much to give her any credibility or strength and turned her into a puppet that either the protagonist manipulates or just portrays her as a little girl without any strength, or without a mind of her own or someone who just listens to the protagonists nonsense. They could have made her more sure of herself, the scriptwriters started out portraying her well as someone who values life despite knowing what is to come and show she had a passion to live life to the fullest everyday but took that away by introducing the protagonist, the scripting writing just ruined it for me after that.Was this review helpful to you?
Sometimes you need all the cheese.
Smile to Life is a super easy cheesy drama to watch. It had every troupe there was and then some and that was great. I love my melodramas and I love my rom-coms, but every once in a while, I really enjoy a cheesy C-drama.I didn’t know anything about ALS and I probably wouldn’t watch the show if I knew someone with ALS or if I had ALS because I’m sure the drama doesn’t portray the disease accurately, however, I know a little more about it. Also, this is the first drama where someone has it, so it was different for me.
The actors were cute and had super great chemistry. They are pretty together and I’m not sure on the FL age (she looks young), but I was happy that the ML was 25. It’s kind of hard to watch actors who look like they are 16, especially during the kissing scenes.
I liked the wardrobe was cute and they didn’t frump the FL too much (because I really hate it when they do that). The outfits were overall cute, however due to budget the sets were horrible and the dubbing could have been better. This didn’t deter away from the drama, but it’s a low budget drama, so you take it for what it’s worth.
I liked the casting, the friends were cute the villains did their job at being villains and I appreciate every troupe that was thrown in there. Loved the jilted ex-girlfriend, love the fall-kisses and silly jealousies.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheesy C-drama, you will get all the feels with this one.

Be it seriously advising 2FML or, jabbing at 1ML or his reactions regarding his object or whatnot
Totally smashing performance
And overall, the drama was pretty smooth and lively. A few places I felt unresolved issues that could explored more on and bit rushed ending

Série qui s'améliore au fil des épisodes
Une série "brainless", mignonne, mais avec beaucoup d'incohérences et tous les clichés de la rom-com (maladie incurable, "je te quitte pour te protéger, conflit du passé non résolu, triangles amoureux avec ami + ex obsédée, etc.) !!!Les acteurs sont jeunes et ont encore des progrès à faire...
=> Drama bien réalisé mais les événements sont mal amenés (story mal ficelée) et les acteurs arrivent difficilement pas à nous faire adhérer à l'histoire.
Les derniers épisodes, quand la maladie est enfin révélée, sont plus réalistes et le jeu des acteurs devient meilleur. Le message transmis est aussi intéressant : CARPE DIEM => profitez de chaque jour qui passe !
On reste finalement sur une bonne impression...

Avevamo una buona base, un buon obbiettivo anche se triste (ma si sapeva eh), un bel ML ( su di lui non ho nemmeno una lamentela) e una protagonista con una malattia importante. Il resto è fuffa. Purtroppo questo drama riesce solo nella coppia principale e nemmeno troppo bene. Mi sono piaciuti molto insieme e l'evoluzione della malattia non è stata fatta troppo male a mio avviso, ma poteva essere molto meglio. Forse hanno puntato a farne una versione ""leggera""? Mmm ok, ma non troppo ok. Per me la questione poteva essere sviluppata un po' di più e soprattutto avrei voluto vedere più momenti insieme della coppia che affronta la cosa. In generale di loro non mi voglio lamentare troppo perchè sono l'unica cosa per cui guardare il drama. Del resto non mi è piaciuto NIENTE. Ed è strano che nemmeno un singolo personaggio secondario mi sia stato minimamente simpatico o che cmq io abbia trovato interessante. Vogliamo parlare della coppia parallela? Fossi stata la ragazza avrei menato il tizio seriamente una volta per tutte. L'antipatica di turno non serve effettivamente a nulla, è un comodino. Sta lì. La questione della vendetta invece mi ha fatto quasi sbattere la testa contro il muro. E basta! Mollaci!
Gli altri personaggi sono come la rucola nel panino (io odio la rucola).
Mi aspettavo decisamente di più e mi dispiace davvero tanto perchè i due principali mi sono piaciuti nonostante tutto.
