Kimura Takuya plays Ito Naoki, a mysterious man that seems to have some special childhood connection with Oba Minako. But she lost her memory long ago and doesn't really remember anything about her childhood or him.

Naoki knows almost everything about Minako and secretly invites her to the "Sleeping Forest". From there on their story begins, into a dark and romantic drama.

One night, Amemura Shinsuke, a bartender at a Nishi Azabu bar in Tokyo, is attacked by a male stranger and loses a part of his memories. However, he soon learns that he caused the death of a woman called Kishinaka Minae in a traffic accident one and a half years ago. And the man who came to attack him and later committed suicide, was her husband Reiji. For some reason, Shinsuke is frequently advised by the people around him that it is better not to recall bad things. He begins to have misgivings about the truth of the accident. Then when Shinsuke returns to the bar on one rainy night, Ruriko, a woman in mourning clothes and of unwordly beauty, shows up all of a sudden. From the time of her appearance, Shinsuke descends into a world of madness and anguish. Does she truly exist or is she a figment of imagination conjured by a guilty conscience?

Both of them have the same genre and are from japan. It gave me a similar vibe when i was watching the murder of snow white.
and they both also have a very good stories and some plot twists on it.

both of these detective mystery movies have an element of comedy in it which I actually appreciated. it made it more enjoyable. also the murders were both very compelling and interesting. highly recommend both

Investigations on a mysterious woman Toko started when Sonoe, a teacher and Toko's fellow faculty member, was found dead as a result of what seemed to be an unfortunate accident.
