One thing though is she was pretty is it felt a bit more serious and dramatic then Filter at least to me. There's also a prevalent love triangle that is not present in Filter. For a shorter version of this story I recommend the Japanese adaptation as well

society where people are judged by appearances. A fantasy romance drama series where a girl finds a magical ring that transforms her into the most datable person. Meanwhile, Park Se Gun, the most popular guy on campus for his looks, is known to be shallow, and dates attractive girls, falls head over heels for Nan Hee after her transformation. But Nan Hee was different from the other girls he dated in that she was socially inept and violent. Somehow, he finds himself falling even more in love with her despite her negative qualities…

Similarities:
- Smart & not annoying MLs & FLs
- Both FLs can change face/appearance and the MLs won’t recognize her at first then eventually became suspicious
- MLs have some problems with their eyes
- Cute side couples in addition to the cute main cp…Great chemistry & acting
Differences:
- FYH is a historical drama with a little bit more serious tone (still quite light & funny for a historical drama)
- ML in FYH can definitely fight compared to our poor Tang Qi lol (Oh well! FL in Filter can do the fighting instead)

In both, the ML falls in love with a fake version of the FL. The MLs both have special illnesses that get better around the FL. Both MLs are quirky, dorky and smart. Both FL have spunk and a bright outlook on life. Both dramas are romcoms but have emotional moments, especially when the ML has to say goodbye to the fake version of the FL.
