Guyssss, watching Love Has Fireworks is making me want to recommend Filter even more ?

* Great chemistry between the leads
* Fun supporting characters
* A ML who's competent but also unintentionally funny

The dramas are obviously very different in terms of plot, but if you're loving Tan Jianci in Love Has Fireworks, I'd definitely recommend giving Filter a try. He absolutely carried so many scenes with his expressions and comedic timing.

I might be biased because I loved Filter, but seeing him in LHF keeps reminding me why he's one of my favorite actors to watch.

Both dramas are comedies that explore the topic of outward beauty versus inner beauty.

Filter allows the female lead to change her appearance and the male lead ends up falling for her in different forms before realizing they are all her while Queen Lau shows the female lead earning his love through her kindness and actions through a forced proximity/marriage kind of situation.

Both are funny and show how being yourself will land you the kind of love you deserve.

The FL character changes into different persons (male, female, young, old) due to a certain condition she has, but the ML is able discern she is the same person even though she changes physically. He falls in love with the person that she is regardless the package she comes in.

I would say,,, the similarities goes to the strong female lead… if the power of Do Bong Soon is the super power… Su Cheng Cheng has filter as the sort of super power…. all in all I love both lifting or carrying scene ???

In both dramas, the female lead changes her face without controlling it.
Also, FM are both strong even though it's not really important in MGITM compared to TF.
Both FM are helped by her friend and her sister then the ML when he finds out.
The Filter is way better and funnier in my opinion.

In both, the ML falls in love with a fake version of the FL. The MLs both have special illnesses that get better around the FL. Both MLs are quirky, dorky and smart. Both FL have spunk and a bright outlook on life. Both dramas are romcoms but have emotional moments, especially when the ML has to say goodbye to the fake version of the FL.
