Golden Rainbow Episode 41 Reactions
I really enjoyed the first 30 episodes or so of the drama, but after that it went steadily towards the gutter.
I'll admit the whole Russian Roulette scene in this episode got my attention. If they had actually dared to follow through, I would have forgiven the mess that was the last 10 episodes or so (they were truly a a nonsensical mess!) and given the drama an 8 just because they had dared to do something different and not just stick to the generic-we-all-love-each-other-so-freaking-much-happy-ending.
But they went for the generic and I went for the 7.
Also, why was Do Young the only "partner" included in the end picnic. Wouldn't it have been better if the others were also there?

they had me scared of how this drama would end - I had a bad feeling for the last couple weeks thinking DY might kill himself, and to my disbelief he DID shoot himself - I was like NOOOOOOO!!!!! and after they passed 3yrs I am going is DY REALLY dead or is he alive? I was so relieved when I saw DY in the end ALIVE (even if he was in a wheel chair) he is recovering and making progress!! & he and BW are married!! happy ending!

Me when Jin Ki agreed to turning himself in: "Nah, he won´t. He is going to kill all of them for sure!" And YES, he kills Oh Kwang Hyuk and kidnaps Baek Won!"
Me when Do Young shot himself: "Noooooo! You were supposed to bring your beloved Daddy to jail and marry Baek Won!"
Me when he was lying in bed in Hospital, unconscious: "YES! You´re doing it right! Now wake up! But... wait... is going to die just like Han Joo, Grannie and Il Won did...?"
Me when the PEEP came, showing Do Young died: "I just praised you, what are you doing?! That is not in my plan! You are supposed to wake up and marry Baek Won and live happily ever after!!"
Me when after 3 years they went for a picknick, Baek Won takes out the wheelchair: "Wheelchair? Oh wait! There is somebody sitting in the front!!"
Me when they help Do Young to get into the wheelchair: "My hero! It really doesn´t make sense that you´re still alive, but since you´re following my plan, a bit differently, it´s ok! I love you!"
That´s how you do it, yea! xD

Who could believe half of it?! My love for weekend dramas has officially hit a wall! This is my last weekend drama that I will follow from week to week ever! I say, watch the first 29 ep and then STOP!!!
