Ok so first I'm gonna say this was so much better than I expected. Idk what I was looking for but I found I and more! If you want something fluffy and sweet? You came to the wrong place. You want something full of deceit, witchcraft and sex? LOOK NO FURTHER!Visuals were amazing and Jennifer is the villain you're gonna love to hate. Story was something I've never seen in a BL with a mix of horror and lust. The ending was too refreshing and I need a Season 2 like...yesterday! Lol

It's a yes from me
I must admit my expectations in the beginning were low for this one. A studio I'd never seen anything from, actors I'd never heard of. And yet, I was proven wrong.The dynamics between the characters are so vivid. Everyone has their own destinct personality, all of which are quite dark.
This drama deals with religion on a whole other level. The nun who keeps punishing herself for human desires, and the witches who thrive from it.
Also, I was glad to see witchcraft was finally represented correctly. Although you have to keep in mind these people do practice dark magick, so please do not replicate.
The spicy scenes were also well-acted, with the chemistry being on point every single time.
And lastly, my genuine thanks for the plot twist at theend. This is one of the first time's I didn't see the twist coming until just before.

Sex in this series is the theme, pure and simple
Erotic, sensual, and steamy. This breaks the mold of every other BL series out there by a mile! It is astonishingly different with twists and turns I did not expect and deeply appreciated the production efforts. This really is an astounding series that needs to be seen to be believed. Undoubtedly, this will not be for everyone and some may not appreciate its darkness or its delve into the occult. While others might not have liked the acting here, I thought it was brilliant, entertaining, and on point. There is a lot of sex in this series. It is one of the most erotic BL series I have seen, and it is not afraid or ashamed to display it. It is raw, lustful, and manipulative in most cases interspersed with a softer, gentler aspect, on occasion. This is a great step forward for BL
This is a BL that doesn't follow the same formula as all the others. BL love can be in all genres and I'm glad they were creative enough to showcase this. This was my BL of 2020 solely because it was different, and it didn't have those corny moments that made the other shows hard to watch at times. The Philippines have really been crushing this category. Lastly, the twist at the end will have you wanting more. You can stop reading now at this point I'm just trying to reach my 500 character limit. Incredible Plot Twist !
The absolute shock I had when watching this series. I had first looked at some of the comments to see if this was worth spending my time on, and most if not all comments were positive. So, I spent my time wisely by watching this fantastic Philippines BL that brought on an aspect that I had never seen before. Cheat brings about a mesmerizing plot with a dramatic twist, involving love, lust, madness, and witchcraft.Let's Dive In.
This has to be the very first BL I've seen dealing with something as supernatural as this. Yes, there have been some fantastical BLs (He's Coming To Me and The Shipper just to name a couple), but nothing like close to what Cheat brought us. Dark magic is something that I know nothing of, so just being able to see them cast spells and do chants was a fun experience. This was a very dark, evil, brooding, and erotic series. So surprising that it's a Phillipino Bl and low budget. Yes, this film was not on the amazing side of things speaking in terms of production, but they did the best they could with the funds available. You're immediately drawn out to the low quality as soon as the heat of the series starts. Even episode one is enough to get you sitting on the edge of your seat.
But let's move on to the plot. I genuinely didn't see that plot twist happening. I was actually getting quite irritated at Vee for continuing to trust Jennifer and Jay after the assaults and things they did to him, but after the plot twist, you understand that it was a part of his plan all along. It's crazy that all three siblings were able to fall for him, but it's even crazier that two of them were crazy enough to do whatever it took to make Vee fall in love with them. Vee says at the end that he doesn't love any of them, but a part of me believe that he might've actually started falling for Dong but is trying to rid himself of those feelings. The only argument that I can really give here is that story sometimes became too much and too overwhelming where I was confused on why the siblings were doing what they were doing, and how these events even began. It definitely became fuzzier during the last episode, where I had to strain my neck to understand what all was happening. Some parts could have been more cohesive, but other than that, a big pat on the back for how detailed and connected it was.
The acting was honestly pretty good. There were sometimes where it got to be a bit cringe, but for the most part, all of it was decent. Daryll was by far my favorite, with Tuesday and Allora in the next place.
Another great attribute that deserves its own paragraph is the raunchy, erotic, hot, but kind of poetic sex scenes. I don't even usually talk about the heat scenes much in BL, but boy were these one something different. Especially in a Philippines series in which I haven't seen many erotic stuff like this. A huge applaud on the actors for making them natural and not like they were uncomfortable.
Overall, this Phillipino BL was pretty fantastic. I don't have much to complain about (surprisingly) But I think it's just because I like the fact that this is a low-budget series, but it still was able to come out and be amazing for what it's worth. I highly recommend this for a watch. It's only 7 (episode 6 is a two-part) series that runs for about 20ish minutes. a beautiful cast and crew, an exciting and adventurous plot, and a season 2 that I'm very much looking forward to.

Witchy BL
I liked this series! EVERYONE wants Vee, and I can see why! Lol! This series is interesting, unique, and hot! I liked the storyline, it’s different from the basic university plot. There was a lot going on, and I hope there’s a second season, because wtf with the last few minutes?! Vee!!!! What?! This series has witchcraft, betrayal, manipulation, and that wtf cliffhanger! I really liked it! I hate Jay, and Jennifer is a conniving bitch. And dude. The scene with Vee and Dong in the carport..... It’s cemented in my brain forever! There are a lot of super hot and steamy scenes in this series, and I remain shameless in my appreciation for these scenes! :D It’s a good story, and the actors are hot, and their chemistry is fire. Naked Butt Cheeks with a Chance to see Witchcraft.
Oh my... this One is totally different to all the others BL-Series that i watched before.The Synopsis of the Story is, that an catholic(?) Boy is getting laid by an whole Family and surprise...some of the family members have got magic powers!
Yes,it is that trashy that it sounds and the production is on a (good) B-Movie Level.
For me it was more funny, than dramatic.
But on the good side, it brings some other mood in the BL-Genre, and I appreciate the Fact to create something new in this Genre.
To be mentiod are the NSFW-scenes. They definitely deserve their name, so be sure to watch this one at home and preferably alone

I was waiting long for this one.This drama was amazing and i kinda expected the ending though.
The family and vee is so fucked up lmao. The brother who blackmailed him, the other was in love with vee, and the sister was so weird and obsessed with making vee hers.
If you look for romance and fluffy things then i don't reccommend this one.

I love the story and the acting
This one is probably one of my favourite series because this story is what i really like.
I can't wait for the next season this summer!

A surprisingly great series
I was very surprised by this series. I don't know why I was expecting the acting and the production value to be poor quality, but it wasn't. The story is incredibly well thought out and the plot is always giving new twists.If you're looking for a witchy, deceitful, sex series, this is the series for you.
Pros:
- Clear character motivations
- Incredibly cool concept
- Acting is on point
- Visual effects and editing is really well done
- Short, easy to follow episodes
- I enjoyed the mix of languages to show certain emotions (Latin for spells, English for anger)
Cons:
- Camera angles need work, sometimes it's a bit shaky or a weird angle
- Sometimes the dialogue is a bit weird, but that might just be translations
- The intro is veryyy long
Can't wait for season 2!

Unique plot with taboo subjects but with busy and messy storylines.
Subjective Gut Rating: 6.75Wow… was this drama really a production from the Philippines? I would have never thought such a dark drama with all these taboo topics and red flags would be from a Catholic country. I really applaud the effort in producing a dark BL amidst all the rom-coms out there. It’s dark from start to finish, and maybe with 5 minutes of sweetness and fluffiness. Unfortunately, I couldn’t love it more, so I'm giving it a 6.75-7.0 for its courage and creativity of the plot twist.
The drama features a pretty good-looking cast but some amateur actors. “Cheat” is the inaugural project for the actors. The acting is OK for first-timers. It wasn’t too cringey but there’s definitely overacting.
The drama is really short but it jam packs with soooo many different stories and schemes. It was fine in the beginning, but at mid-way point, I was exhausted. There’s no room for me to breathe before another crazy person stirred up shit again. Witchcraft was not used to its full potential. Instead of a stronger focus of witchcraft, it introduces jealousy, blackmail and evil schemes and lies every step of the way.
This drama is full of hormonal and horny teenagers who don’t know how to love properly. There is only one sane person in the whole drama. Everybody else is insane and twisted. In a way, the ending is satisfying and unpredictable. I was feeling so bad for Vee and I only wanted happiness for him. I was thinking to myself that I just want Vee and Dong to live happily ever after. I wanted more sweet scenes with them, but this is not the type of drama.
In the end, the smirks make sense and I also hope I interpret the lack of a smirk in the last scene correctly.
Would I recommend this drama to you? Mm.. it depends if you are up for something dark with taboo subjects and twisted individuals. If season 2 comes out, I don’t mind checking it out again.

I don't really know what I think of it
Well. It was surprising. I didn't wait that when I started to watch this. Like, I was confused while whole thing and all I was thinking was "What's going on?". And I think that was what made it good. Creepily good.About ratings:
Story: Unique. If you guess what will happen next, you're a magician.
Acting/Cast: A little felt that something was missing but that can be only because of my bewilderment. Good acting.
Music: I actually didn't concentrate in it because so much was going on but I can say, it brought atmosphere.
Rewatch Value: I just don't watch series twice.
Overall: I don't really know what I think about this. But maybe YOU should give it a try.
At least about one thing I'm sure; you won't be bored.
