markohm debut series!

to be honest, i didnt expect much going into this series since its a debut series, but it definitely exceeded my expectations of it, and i didnt know it would end up becoming my comfort show!

i've been liking markohm since last twilight (in the ghost ship days), and when i saw this series in gmmtv 2025 i was definitely excited to say the least. now that it's finally ended, i can say that it is definitely an emotional series - many ups and downs. you could probably catch me laughing or crying while watching the series, and the way the relationship between jway and sant evolves heals parts of me i didn't even know needed healing.

to be honest, this series received alot of criticism and feedback, but in my honest opinion i'm happy to have come this far with the series, and its definitely a must watch on my list. thank you to markohm for portraying jwaysant's relationship so well, and for always doing the best you can in this series!

The script and direction definitely could’ve been better, but I still enjoyed the series. It’s not a masterpiece, but it's not that bad either. It was exactly what I expected it to be: a light and fun romantic comedy. The real highlight, though, was Mark and Ohm. They were the reason I kept coming back week after week. At first, I wasn’t sure if they’d work well together, but they totally did. They have incredible chemistry together! They felt so natural, effortless, and completely at ease with each other. Everything, from their flirtation and lingering glances to the NC scenes, flowed so smoothly. The whole cast did a good job and honestly deserved a better script, but even with what they had, they did the best they could.

Romantic fluff

I dont know about many people. I actually loved this so much. Everything was perfect. Where everyshow trying to be different and unique, they tend to mess it by killing the plot or doing something hazy throught the show.
But this show fluff and light and cliche, it was so warming to watch.
And the acting! Omg, markohm nailed the acting! Especially only a handful of actors can act properly from gmm... mark pakin! The man you are.
I would say 10/10 to watch when you are down. I have too much stress in my life to be stressing over tvshows too. So this was so good and amazing watch for me.

Anyone who says this is cringy and bad DESERVES LIFE IN PRISON
It is such a fun series with a slightly sad undertone, which made me cry btw, and I USUALLY DONT!!
The only thing i could count as a downside is the fact that poonview didnt happen 🥹🥹 might be a personal preference, ive wanted them together since watching the trainee but ig itll never happen

so safe

i rlly love MarkOhm chemistry. So cutest thing I've ever seen. When I was watching this, i feel like very relaxed and peaceful. I haven't felt so safe in a long time. The show moves so well that I was never bored. On the contrary, I had a lot of fun watching it. a calm and lovely serie without chaos. no violence, no fighting, just our lovely couple. Especially Jway, he loves so beautifully that I almost cried.And Sant, he's so cute. sometimes he made me a little angry, but he's so sweet that I don't resent him. Ohm has done really great acting. i hope they give them a new series. plssss😭😭

The hate seems forced. Probably cz they're not a popular pair

I had to add a review mid watch cz of all the hate I saw towards this series in the comments and reviews. I am not a MarkOhm fan infact I didn't exactly like their pairing either. I have seem Mark in OF so I was like "this is probably horrible. It won't work" and put this series on not interested for a whole year. But then I kinda felt i should watch atleast 1 episode before I judge and... I'm trapped😅 i binge watched 4 episodes already and wanna watch the 5th too. The drama is light push pull romcom❤️. The chemistry, the acting, the tension, everything is just🤌🤌🤌.

I personally liked the plot. The summary is definitely deceiving. The story is about Sant who ends up going to his friend's date to break up inplace of his friend but instead ends up going on a date. But then escapes cz the date was really weird. Years later he has some dental issues and ends up meeting that weird guy again. The story is about them falling in love in the cutest and quirkiest manner possible🤭🤭

What I really liked about the characters were that they were a breath of fresh air. Like juay for example usually doctor characters are either too cold, too nice or too weird but he was like a perfect balance. He is smart, likes sweets, is kind, also naughty etc. Juay on the other hand was similar.. he had his traumas but they potrayed him as someone who has a life out of it kinda, it's hardworking, studious, yet stupid. They really don't fit in any stereotypical character frame.

Edit: I literally cried when they showed jway's backstory😭 wth why was soo sad. I know the mom was sad but i feel she should hv cared about the living person...

As someone who loses interest once the leads are together. I am loving the push and pull. It doesn't feel overdone either🤭🤭. It's just a perfect romcom you can watch on a hard stressful day after work. Seeing the comments and hate I kinda don't feel MarkOhm would last more than 4 or 5 years but I hope they do. I really really liked them a lot.

I really liked the ending with the narration method where they narrated different incidents of their later years. One thing I am sad about would be Kak not ending up with Yada. Especially when Yada broke up I was like okay so we're gonna get a couple but then she went back😑. I am guessing this is cz Poon is a bl actor😔 but yeah it's fine. He got a successful career for once. Bro is a loser is all other universes.

Omg this is so sweet and light

I love the MarcOhm pairing they’re so cute together and between this and Perfect 10 Liners Poon is getting booked left and right!

First episode I love Sant’s and Jay’s differing personalities but they’re still so playful with each other and the fact that Jay wants no one else besides his “cute smiley boy” so squee

Guuk as a character is just a mood- a supportive bestie/manager willing to help Sant in anyway he can

Thrown in the plot that despite Sant being a fairly good social media personality around campus that he’s struggling with his own finances as well as his family’s occurring debts

All in all so far such a sweet series that I feel won’t give anyone diabetes (I already do but here’s hoping no one else will)
