Serendipity (2021)

Similar virtual reality/ video game thing. That’s it... They are both romances. Serendipity is a shorter show compared to Memories of the Alhambra.

Although Serendipity is more on the romance side and lacks the bromance that Spirealm has, both of the story bases are similar - in both shows they visit different worlds (VR games/books) with different settings, solve problems and find out about mysteries.

Both have handsome male lead characters & involve action in the form of traveling into literature. Both jump in and out of comic/ books as they learn how to solve/navigate worlds along with elements of fantasy themes.

-Fantasy/ Crossworlds travel.
-The female leads are university students.
-The male leads are from different/parallel worlds.
-Both leads only have eyes for each other.
-Both titles are produced by Sohu TV, Serendipity is part of an anthology with The Story of Souls from Endless Books.

Both MLs travels in different books (Serendipity) or dimensions (The King) and finds love at some point. Both shows have a happy ending after thinking they lost each other forever.
