Passionate Love (2013)

First, the cut short ending was totally disappointing. I know it isn't conventional, but I liked the "bad guy" and to end the story with out total resolution for his character makes me angry. In my mind they left several unresolved issues. I have a great ending to this drama in my mind.
Second, there were a lot of extra unnecessary characters and dialogue where the obvious story is repeated.
Third, nevermind...this list will just get too long.
There are some good things that kept me interested, but I'm still disappointed. A rating of 6 may be too high.

The acting is ok. Jun Kwang Ryul as Moon Doo stole the show.

The music is ok.

I won't rewatch this.

I don't recommend this drama unless you have a good imagination.

This is a typical Korean Melodrama which means that a family wealth is at stake, and that there are characters willing to do impossibly evil things to attain that wealth. And then there are the victims of whom the main one, Han Yoo-jung, suffers so much that I think the writers themselves had a hard time trying to resolve the situation. It's the reason the comic relief provided by the romances of Moo-yeol's aunt and mother with their respective beaus works out well; it balances the pain and misery felt by Yoo-jung.

As melodramas go, _Passionate Love_is actually brief at 47 episodes. If you can tolerate the usual, well intended stupid things the heroes will do and the usual, unbelievable, underhanded evil the villains will get away with, you'll like the drama despite the hurried ending, which wrapped things up a little too neatly. In fact, I felt that the shortened ending was actually good for the drama. The thought of Han Yoo-jung stewing in her hate and wallowing in her pain and misery because she is too good to take justice into her own hands was just too much to take.

Very bad!

The usual nipple twister makjang except this one take a wonky unfavorable route because it thinks itself special. At least other daily melo can deliver "something". Even if we disregarded the ending, the drama was infested with retardation throughout its run. I detest this piece of garbage with passion. The one thing I hated the most is whenever Moo Yool & Yoo Jung looked at each other or muttered a single word, Soo Hyuk would instantly spawn out of thin air and screech like a pig. This is definitely Choi Yoon Young's & Sung Hoon's worst drama they starred in.

The creepy obsessed Soo Hyuk ended up with Yoo Jung. It would have been infinitely better if she ended up alone or if she died or anything!! Soo Hyuk's father killed both Yoo Jung's sister and father, then his mother tried to kill Yoo Jung's mother too! Still, they ended up together and had a kid. On the other hand, initially, Moo Yool's predicament with Yoo Jung seems very simple. He used to date Yoo Jung's sister when they were teens +10 years ago before she died.

why ML should be forgiven for murder because he is ML and handsome
