Mr.Kill EP.1 Review
I really enjoyed the first episode of Mr.Kill! Honestly, I was a little worried at first since the filming process felt quite rushed, but after watching EP.1, it turned out so much better than I expected. I know it’s still too early to judge since we haven’t seen the full story yet, and I might be a little biased because I love DewTee, but i’m genuinely satisfied with how everything came together. The pacing was really good, and the cinematography, camera angles, locations, and overall atmosphere were amazing. The crime and murder scenes looked incredibly realistic that they genuinely gave me chills 😭 (which is also a compliment because it shows how well the team executed those scenes). The series has this eerie, mysterious vibe that immediately pulls you in, and I absolutely love that feeling.
One thing I really liked was how they started the episode. Instead of having a typical opening intro like many GMMTV series, they immediately brought us into the story with Kaye and the opening scene before showing the credits. It made the series feel more like a thriller or mystery film, and I was hooked from the beginning. There was no intro to skip, just straight into the atmosphere and story, which made the experience even better.
Dew’s acting as Kaye was absolutely captivating. This role is definitely challenging because portraying someone dealing with anxiety, panic, and such complex emotions is not easy, but Dew delivered it so well. You can really see how much effort he put into understanding the character. Even in scenes without dialogue, his expressions and body language said so much. His eye acting especially was INCREDIBLE. It made Kaye feel mysterious, complicated, and honestly a little unsettling in the best way.
I’m also so proud of Dew because he continues to improve with every project. Knowing that he also contributed his artwork to the series makes me appreciate his dedication even more. He’s not only an amazing actor but also someone who puts so much passion into his work.
For Tee, I can only say how proud I am of him. For his first leading role, he did an amazing job. His expressions, dialogue delivery, emotions, and the way he portrayed Phat’s personality were all so impressive. He perfectly showed the different sides of Phat being a serious police officer while also showing his warm and caring side when he was with his sister. Tee brought so much depth to the character, and you can really tell how much effort he put into this role. His acting has improved so much, and seeing his hard work pay off makes me incredibly happy. His voice, expressions, and overall presence were amazing. I’m really excited to see more of Phat’s journey.
AND OF COURSE… DEWTEE’S CHEMISTRY!!! 😭 Their chemistry is seriously insane. Every time they appear together, their dynamic is so interesting to watch. Their visuals complement each other so well, and they have this kind of presence that makes you want to see more of their interactions.
What I love about this series is that it immediately makes you curious, like who is the real serial killer? What is their motive? Why are these people being targeted? There are so many questions that make you want to keep watching. I haven’t read the novel yet, so I don’t know how the story will unfold, but i’m really excited for the twists and surprises because the story seems like it will have more layers than expected.

Beyond Expectations
Mr. Kill is a gripping thriller that successfully blends psychological suspense, crime, and mystery into a compelling story. Instead of relying on constant action, the series builds tension through its characters, unpredictable twists, and the lingering question of who can truly be trusted. The serial murder investigation keeps the audience invested, with each episode revealing just enough to make you eager for the next.Dew delivers one of the strongest performances in the series as a mangaka whose calm and reserved personality hides layers of complexity. He perfectly captures the character's intelligence, vulnerability, and mystery, making it difficult to tell what he's really thinking. His subtle facial expressions and emotional restraint make every scene feel meaningful, and he completely embodies the role.
Tee is equally impressive as the inspector leading the investigation into a string of serial killings. He portrays a determined and perceptive investigator who is relentless in his pursuit of the truth while also carrying the emotional burden that comes with the case. His performance gives the investigation credibility and keeps the audience invested in every clue and revelation.
The heart of Mr. Kill is the dynamic between Dew's mysterious mangaka and Tee's inspector. Their relationship is built on suspicion, curiosity, and gradually developing trust, creating an engaging cat-and-mouse dynamic that keeps the tension high throughout the series. Every interaction between them feels important, adding another layer to the mystery rather than simply moving the plot forward.
The directing deserves special recognition for maintaining suspense from beginning to end. The pacing is well controlled, the cinematography enhances the dark atmosphere, and every scene is crafted to keep viewers questioning what will happen next. Rather than relying on cheap shock value, the series builds psychological tension that lingers long after each episode ends.
Overall, Mr. Kill is a well-executed thriller with an intriguing premise, strong performances, and excellent direction. Dew shines as the enigmatic mangaka, Tee is convincing as the relentless inspector, and their on-screen dynamic is one of the series' greatest strengths. It's a must-watch for anyone who enjoys character-driven thrillers filled with suspense, mystery, and compelling performances.

A Perfect Blend of Darkness and Mystery — Mr. Kill!
Mr. Kill kicks off with a gripping and well-structured plot. As someone who absolutely loves murder mysteries, this drama feels like a complete blessing. Even after just the first episode, it’s clear that the storyline is intense, layered, and already delivering—it truly ate. When it comes to acting, there was never any doubt—and once again, they did not disappoint. Dew’s character is the most intriguing part. He isn’t just one person; he embodies four distinct sides:
1. The version he presents to the world.
2. K-Cupid.
3. Mr. Kill—the hidden identity no one knows about (though I personally feel he might not actually be Mr. Kill; it could be someone else, possibly a fan imitating the role from the manga using the same method).
4. His true self—the one he has to face every single day, which is deeply admirable.
The dark, mysterious atmosphere is absolutely top-tier and adds so much depth to the story. Overall, this is the kind of series that doesn’t just entertain—you don’t get tired of it. Instead, it slowly pulls you in until you find yourself completely hooked and genuinely loving it.

Episode 1 made a strong first impression.
A series of murders that recreate scenes from a manga is an intriguing setup, and the mystery hooked me from the beginning. Dew fits Kay naturally, while Tee brings a calm confidence to Detective Phat. Their partnership already feels promising, even before the romance begins to develop. I'm especially curious to learn why the murders resemble Kay's unpublished work and what connects the seemingly unrelated victims. If the series can maintain this suspense while gradually building the relationship between Kay and Phat, I think it could become one of GMMTV's most interesting BL thrillers. The romance is subtle so far, but I can already sense the growing connection between Kay and Phat. I'm glad the series is taking its time instead of rushing into fan service.

Okay... Let's Talk About EP1 ?
Finally finished EP1!! 🥹✨Okay, first of all... DEW JIRAWAT??? HELLO SIR??? 😭😭 Visualnya bener-bener gak ada obat. Every time he's on screen aku langsung fokus lagi. Cakepnya tuh gak masuk akal. Terus Tee juga?? He's sooo charming. His acting feels natural, terus chemistry dia sama Dew udah mulai kerasa walaupun baru episode 1. They're literally the reason why I kept watching. 🫶
But ngl... buat episode pertama aku ngerasa pacing nya agak slow. Ada beberapa scene yang bikin aku kayak, "okay... lanjut dong..." 😭 Jadi sempet agak bosen karena plotnya masih pelan banget. Tapi overall aku ngerti sih mereka lagi build the story dan introduce the characters dulu. Cinematography-nya juga bagus, visualnya estetik banget.
So... meskipun EP1 belum bikin aku langsung WOW, I'm still gonna continue karena Dew sama Tee are enough reason for me to stay. 😂 Semoga next episode pacing nya lebih cepet dan mulai banyak development. I'm seated. 🤍✨
