This is a very special and unique movie, very heartwarming. Having an abnormal illness of seeing everything in slow motion is not always fun, but this guy turned it into something good and turned it into a talent which I thought was great.

Things that I liked about this movie is the perspective of an average's persons life, which is not that luxurious. The main male and female lead were simple people, having troubles with life just as anyone else and I liked the fact that they included that because it makes it feel realistic. Despite that, things that he had was a girl he liked who made his days happier, random people he met whom became his closest friends, a supporting family and his doctor that's been with him throughout his whole life. This movie kind of shows you that even if you're different, even if you had those times where you isolated yourself from life, it's still not too late to explore the world, making new friends and doing things you like. Till the end, he didn't give up, amazing.

Other than that, there's not so much to dislike about this movie, might be slow-paced but I think that the moral of the story is more important.

Nearly Perfect, a Masterclass in Writing

It's rare to stumble across a gem of a movie as good as this one. There's a lot you can say for the acting, or the music, or the cinematography, but all of that pales before the absolutely incredible script which it inhabits.

This movie may embody one of the best examples I've ever seen of setup and payoff, with the screenplay quietly setting up dominos only for them to fall all at once in a climax both stunning and emotional. The film manages to strike an incredible balance between somber and uplifting, as we find joy in our protagonist's eccentricities and the colorful interaction between the diverse and dynamic characters, but also feel the weight of the suffering visible in the world.

Here we find a departure from the tropes which infect so many modern tv shows, a work of fiction which is so unique and yet so grounded in reality you can't help but allow the story to pull you in. The storytelling is efficient, and intentional, and moving. You can't say the movie is perfect, as barely anything really is, but this is as close as we need it to be. I definitely recommend this movie.

The movie is a heartwarming tale about a man with a strange yet powerful ability. It leaves him isolated, until his job leads him to make an unlikely group of friends.

There were funny moments in this movie, though my enjoyment of the movie was marred by some really substandard English subtitles online. In terms of story, it isn’t terribly predictable, but the turns in the narrative arc are rather obvious and quite disjointed, so there’s a minus point in my books there. The movie has some pretty visuals in some scenes.

Cha Tae-hyun is comfortable playing a character who is lonely and eccentric, but does not lack emotional depth. Nam Sang Mi was just okay.

This isn’t a movie that made a deep impression on me, nor is it one that I would rewatch. But it’s not a bad way to entertain yourself on a boring weekend.
