The soundtrack is stunning, the atmosphere…

The soundtrack is stunning, the atmosphere is warm and golden, and all the characters are very cute and endearing (to me). Saeko seems unpopular, but I love her wolf-in-sheep's-clothing persona. Souta/MatsuJun was also very cute and doofy.

I crave chocolate now...

If you are looking for a cute innocent storyline...this may not be for you.

This drama has a potential...I'll stick with it for now. Not to mention, I LOVE MATSUJUN! The cast is great too!

Looking forward to see how this bittersweet chocolate like story will unfold.

Weird but funny!!

With all the negative comments about this drama, I was not going to watch it. But decided to because of the chocolate. I got a weird feeling while watching it but it is funny. I really hate Saeko, and wish Sota would end up with someone better. I like how it is a mature love theme, not the childish/innocent one.

Unexpectedly Unique!

I'm totally hooked!...honestly I was a bit skeptical after seeing that the ep rating was "6" I expected it to be v.v.v.v boring but it wasn't at all...
I didn't feel the time...
it's not cliche the characters are new & interesting...I think that fans were shocked that this isn't a cute innocent love story as they expected from the 4 leads...it's a dirty drama that's gonna get dirtier!
about a man who can't get over the whore he never managed to be with...it's interesting that though he's a good guy he's not innocent at all...makes it a bit realistic - this little dirty bastard!!!

*There's no innocent good female lead here but a complete bitch!
*The male lead has a really dirty mind (looks like a normal man)! ~Finally!~
*Cute romance (throw that idea way) this is different...if you're not ready to take it don't watch it!

Promising start

Overall, I liked this first episode. I thought it was rather sweet somehow, and I liked all the chocolate scenes! Being so in love with somebody IS a bit extreme, granted, but I daresay lots of people have experienced this kind of heartache; some people do love in absurdum... even though this drama (I guess) have potential to take it to an extreme level. This being said, I did find the girl a bit too naive and thoughtless and so far I don't really like her.

Contrary to the other reviewer, I was VERY relieved that the dream scenes were dreams and nothing else - at least the one where he kissed her. Even though it was just a fantasy, I did NOT appreciate her saying "no" while he stated that she was begging for it with the way she was dressed. I was prepared to drop it right there, but since he didn't actually do it, I still have hopes that this will turn out to be an enjoyable drama.

What was this?

Really? What have I just seen?
I was really looking forward to watching this main reason being MatsuJun, true. But this was just weird. So he is totally over a girl that hangs out with anyone and, above anything else, he likes and even asks her to use him and hurt him. I liked his DoS characters more, they werenot this extreme. -.- And Saeko is just a bitch, really. I totally agreed with his speech at the wedding, if only the best scenes in this episodes had not been only dreams it might have been better. And is it only me that could see a lot of echi references in the chocolate making and then felt like all the "I'll love you even if it hurst me" scenes were a little bit too childish? Okay, I will watch the next one and then better do something for me to forgive them. >_
