Well, the first episode was good so i gave it a "go" I got hooked so I stayed watching. At first, I only watched this for Renn (Since I got a massive crush on him after re-watching switch girl but this really isn't important so scratch this part of my review lol) I was actually rooting for him even though he seemed like the bad guy of the story. BUT HELL I WAS WRONG. I got really mad at him lol That means the acting was SUPERB! The progress of the story was great. It kept revealing stuff that made me want to watch more. The characters was awesome. Their acting was perf. Anyways I wasn't really satisfied with the ending but I guess that's part of the drama. Thumbs up

It was a bit cliche in terms of plot at the start but not in an unenjoyable way. The cast is very very good and the music is by far the best thing about the drama. The tension and the ambiguity of the character motivations and such was really well executed in the first few episodes. The tension around the creepy murderer in the forest and all the friend drama going on built me up for a good story that never happened!
The drama in and of itself was executed very well, but was quickly forgotten in the next episode or simply swept aside to make room for some new and more ridiculous plot point. There was a lot of building up ideas and motivations for them to simply become irrelevant or easily dismissed. While the acting was great, it was very hard to connect with the characters and their personalities, because they weren't very well developed and weren't allowed to be shown enough before stuff started going down. That made it very hard for me personally to feel connected to anyone properly and made a lot of the story and their troubles feel flat and overdramatic.
By far the worst part about this drama is the ending. It gets completely ridiculous in the last 2 episodes and a lot of the bigger things that have been teased and built up from the start begin to fall flat. The climax of the drama wasn't something I predicted, but the reasoning behind it felt silly and forced, just to use a plot twist for the sake of it. The way all the characters act in the last episode as well is completely ridiculous to me, because I have a very hard time believing that anyone could act like that.
The good points about this drama are definitely the music and the acting. The cast is very good and despite the way the plot falls to pieces, they hold up very well and all deliver very good and emotional performances. The music is by far the best part, in my opinion, however. It's a brilliant score that holds the tension and adds to the feel of the drama. It's all very well preformed and really enjoyable to listen to. The way the drama is shot it also very good and the use of shadows and different camera angles made it nice to watch, even if I felt the plot was terrible at best.
It was enjoyable in it's own small ways, but I would suggest passing on Lost Days unless you're a really hardcore fan of one of the actors involved. You won't be disappointed by their performance but I think the flakey plot and melodrama is poorly executed and isn't very enjoyable to watch. I would suggest giving the soundtrack, or at the very least the opening, a listen however because it is truly stellar.

This was pretty good....until the end
Up to the last two episodes - which were THE WORST - this drama was pretty good, especially the characters themselves. I liked that it showed that everyone lies - to themselves, but especially to their friends - and that everyone is insecure inside and even hates themselves sometimes. It's what we do with that insecurity and self-hatred that really matters. If we use it to better ourselves and the world around us, then that makes it worth it. If we use it to destroy ourselves and the world around us...well, then that's not good, obviously.I watched this for my faves - Kiriyama Renn and Yoshizawa Ryo and I was reminded that I really like Kojima Fujiko as well. (She was great as Mana - scrappy and loyal.) I liked their characters, even though they were all a hot mess of contradictions and each had a heaping dose of emotional instability. However, I could not stand Miki's character and I actually had a hard time watching her - that syrupy sweet naiveté made me want to scream. But the acting all the way through was really solid - the young actors all really delivered. And for this being seven years old already, the production quality was really good and the OST added the right touches when needed.
But even with the excellent acting, there were significant plot holes left open- like holes big enough to drive a truck through. Besides the obvious gaping holes which I won't spoil here, there were other smaller pieces that all added up by the end- like I kept wondering if they were producing extra food out of the air, like the loaves and fishes, to feed all those people for so long without going back to the grocery store. :-)
It's already been mentioned here that the ending was just the worst. At one point I wondered if the writer had been replaced at the end because everything sort of fell apart and nothing made any logical sense anymore. While it was a shame to have such a bad ending, the rest of the dorama was enjoyable enough to make it worth a watch. We'll just pretend that it all ended differently.
