An example of another drama I only watched because KAT-TUN members were in it. And probably wouldn't have if they weren't.

The idea was cute, and fun, but a lot of the times I wasn't that amused. I mean this isn't a bad drama, but it isn't the BEST one either. I think if you have time you should watch it but it's not one of those dramas I'd stop everything for to watch.

It has a lot of laughs in their along the way, and many strange scenarios. Junnosuke Taguchi playing a swedish guys son was pretty funny, especially with that blond hair, and those blue yes.

In closing this is basically a Japanese version of Scooby-Doo, and if you have some time to kill go ahead and watch it.

Ok I like Kat-Tun so I thought why not watch Jin in a drama? I am glad I did because I certainly wasn't disappointed. Yukan Club is about a bunch of rich kids who like to solve crimes instead of going to class. Each one of them has a special talent or specialty that helps in solving the mysteries or problems of others. This is a feel good comedy with light romance and light mystery. The characters learn something new each episode but its nothing that is life -changing. Yukan Club isn't a drama that will make you watch it as a marathon, but is a good drama to watch after a drama with really heavy adult themes. Generally you can tell that everything is going to go well for the characters so it doesn't have much suspense, you can almost always tell how its going to end. As a light comedy its fun to watch and it doesn't take itself too seriously either.

I was so immersed in this show, I completely forgot who was who (aka Akanishi Jin & Taguchi Junnosuke from KAT-TUN and Yokoyama Yu from KanJani8) and just fell in love with the series! The cast was awesome, I immediately liked all six members of the Yukan Club!

The show maintained a pretty good pace throughout each episode; it wasn't confusing or hard to follow, each episode had a plot line that I couldn't even guess, and the guests for each episode were fantastic. It was nice to see a young Chinen Yuri's talent! Each character went through their own "maturing" period, I guess you could say, so it was nice to see them all grow throughout the show. I also liked the low presence of romance, too; don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for a good romance.

I wanted to watch this drama before, and I'm not sure why I stopped in the middle of the first episode before, but I am so glad I finished this series today! It's hilarious, heart warming (sometimes heart wrenching), sweet and kind, sarcastic and silly, and one of the greatest shows I have seen in a LONG time!! This is why I don't turn my television on so much... Japan has way too many great shows!!
