Another movie that will go unnoticed because it's dark. If you don't mind going through dark experiences then this is the perfect film. It's heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time. I loved the way they showed the characters different lives but how they end up together and change each other. There are dark topics like prostitution, suicide, cheating, drugs etc portrayed realistically.

Ming is a young boy who works in a sales store. Soon he meets Yan and an affair starts between them. When Ming's mother confronts him of his sexuality, he leaves home. He also loses his job. His roommate takes him to parties where once an older man makes him an offer for sex for money. Slowly he gets deeper into the world of prostitution and drugs. Following a police raid Ming is sent to a rehabilitation center where he meets Kueng. When Keung is leaving the center he invites Ming to visit him. Keung has no idea about Ming's sexuality...

Not for the Faint Heart

This movie is very dark in all the right ways. It has a bad rating MOST LIKELY because it hits closer to home than people can handle. I wouldn't personally rewatch it and I can't say I enjoyed it, because it tackles real life issues. The plot was consistent with suicide, sex and drugs which is all you'll get and if you can't handle it I don't recommend watching. It made me squeamish at how detailed it was. Unfortunately, this movie wasn't sarcastic. It was dead on accurate with life before, during and after rehab. You can't fully understand it until you've known someone who's experienced the "life style". The acting really pulls you in with everything ranging from sex scenes to drug withdrawls. The movie gives you a hint at how the world is with drugs involved, not just in Asia, but worldwide. Basically, this movie isn't for the Faint Heart.

I am debating if I should create a review or not. Why? Cause I don't like how it ends and I don't really understand why they made this film. There's a lot of suicide scene, sex scene as well and betrayal. I don't know why the film made a long story line on the rehabilitation part where those who came from it are still using drugs right after their release. Are they trying to imply that rehabilitation does nothing to change a person's perspective towards drugs? So sad. hay....
