A simmering romance !!

hahaa...not 2 mention dis was my 2nd thai drama, i loved dis Mike-Aom starrer as hell wen i was young... & it opened a whole new world of dramas to me....Dis show was super fluff & pretty darn adorable. I enjoyed it throughout de 20 episode run. I sorted dis out in my brain candy of the drama world list. It wasn’t too terribly complicated, a silly over de top plot concept, and pretty actors. Overall I had fun wid dis drama & would recommend it if u are lookin 4 something light!

I liked Mike (the character), he was adorable! Other than his obsessed-with-Min side, I really liked him. I liked how he was genuinely a nice person and cared about others. He wasn't mean like most kdrama "chaebol" characters are. And his relationship with Aom was just the cutest! Aom! is a cutie!! There were some scenes (like the one in which she confesses) I absolutely loved it! & I adored her character! She was funny & cute .She refused 2 b bullied around & even though she was a bit crazy... She was 1 of de most 'real' characters I have ever seen!

// VERDICT // Despite the quirky acting and bubbly story I was really impressed with the chemistry that the entire cast had. They all worked so well together and their chemistry helped to bring me into the story.

This was the first lakorn I ever watched, after I ran into it on youtube watching clips from the Korean Full House. I became addicted after the first episode.
STORY: Gorgeous. Slow-paced, but in a good way. Far better than the Korean version, which I enjoyed, but really pales in comparison to this one.
The storyline mostly follows the Korean drama's with some wonderful additions that really made this drama go above and beyond. In the Thai version, both Aom-Am and Mike have unfulfilled dreams. They yearn for someone to believe in them, and for companionship (secretly). As the story progresses, a beautiful love story is woven. Viewers fall in love with Aom-Am as Mike does, and vice versa. They are portrayed as a couple who really bring out the best in each other.
I wanted the nang rai to die a very painful death. Jane just honed in on all the hatred she could get from viewers to make her character as horrible as possible, and succeeded. I started calling her MinTrash. I was glad, however, that the nang rai followed none of the lakorn stereotypes. She was simply a flawed, weak person who wanted to be loved; she wasn't a crazy evil person who's so bad you forget what set them off in the first place.
The writing is simply gorgeous, lacking in absolutely nothing. The story unfolds and is completely unforced. And best of all, absolutely NO cheesy lakorn cliches. The one flaw I found in the story was when they agreed to try to make each other fall in love, and then never mentioned it again until ep 17/18.
ACTING: Mike is wonderful. I can't even describe it. He portrays every emotion  of Mike's, including the happy and the sad and the angry. Aom is absolutely adorable. In her other lakorns she was okay, but in this, she makes the role of Aom-Am totally believable. Guy's acting is respectable, not amazing. I mostly watched him for his English, anyway. Jane really knows how to play bad...
MUSIC: Gorgeous in every way. Repetitive, but I could listen to "Oh Baby I" on a 24-hour loop for weeks on end and still not get tired of it.
REWATCH VALUE: In two years, I've already rewatched it four times. It's so beautiful and original, the story will never get old.
By far one of the best lakorns I've ever seen. It needs to be dubbed into English so people here can watch it and understand the magnificence. If you haven't watched it yet, you're missing out.

FAVOURITE COUPLE ON SCREEN! Instant classic!

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ROM-COM LAKORNS EVER!

I have seen the Korean version before hand,
and this was my first Thai Drama.
The story is based on the same original Korean version of Full house.
This blew the original out of the water! IMO
This Drama is So much better and improved
version of the Korean Drama Full House.
This might not be a perfect drama to many!

The story is easy to follow, considering it has been done before,
but in this version there were some changes.
What I loved about the story is how it flowed and lead to the ending,
the ending was so satisfying to me regardless of the small drag it had.
One of the only romance drama that gave me more of a romantic closure than other drams.
The chemistry between the two leads is off the chart,
made it so believable that they are actually in love.
Best couple I have seen on screen. IMO
Their interaction is heartwarming and that's the reason I loved it so much.
The scene on the bridge with the ice cream was romantic!

The acting was awesome. The main song from this drama is great,
I loved that the 2 leads are singing that song. I have already rewatched this drama,
so definitely will be watching again and again. This Drama does have flaws,
yet it was Perfect to me out of its enjoyment I had.
The Romance is the Main focus of this Drama!
And the romance is so believable in this Drama.
The Comedy in this Drama was really well done also.
Hence this became my favourite Rom-Com.
Its like a Guilty Pleasure!

Give this one a try. Especially if you liked the Korean version of Full House.
I can't wait for more future works of Aom and Mike.

Thank you for reading my first review ever! :)

Character:
The main female protagonist, Aom-am, has to put up with a lot of betrayal in this drama – and especially horrible is the one from her own sister. Yet, she continually forgives everyone. And she is a very strong individual yet still sensitive. The main male protagonist, Mike, seems like a jerk from the get-go and puts the female protagonist in a difficult situation because he is impulsive and childish. However, he seems to grow up a bit, Aom-am inspiring him to be a better person. The second male lead, Guy, is a really nice guy (haha, pun) and Aom-am meets him quite early on (before she meets Mike, I think), but while he was a much better choice rationally, I didn’t really ship him with her.

Mintra tries to steal Mike away from Aom-am, and is a really annoying character, in my opinion. I think Mintra seriously needs to grow up and stop being selfish.Aom-am’s sister and brother-in-law are seriously horrible relatives, the way I see it – they appear to be nice and innocent but they take advantage of Aom-am’s kindness in order to achieve their own goals. They don’t think about Aom-am, always expecting her to help them and forgive them.
Mike’s grandma is quite a character. She’s quirky but also quite clever and devious.

The OTP (One True Pairing):
In my opinion, Mike D’Angelo (Mike) and Manaying Sushar (Aom-am) seem to have great chemistry in real life and this made for such an incredibly believable couple in this drama. It was ‘hate at first sight’ for their characters, Mike and Aom-am, though. But along with all the drama that comes with…well…a drama, there were hilarious moments between the lead characters as they tried to get along in each others’ company, and some sweet moments as they began to fall for each other – and the whole journey was actually quite believable for a quite unlikely real-life scenario.

Plot:
The first three episodes or so were rather slow, in my opinion. Mostly, apart from setting up the main story, it was scenes of Aom-am sightseeing Korea. While the leading characters do meet in the first or second episode, they really only properly meet and have a real conversation in a couple more episodes after that. For someone like me who pretty much just wants to see the leading couple’s story start as soon as possible (because to me they are the most important part of the drama) it was a bit slow.
But I’m so glad that I stuck with it, because out of it came such a touching, sweet and sad love story. The ending was absolutely perfect and so sweet, in my opinion, and it tied up any loose ends.

Themes and Messages:
There aren’t really any solid ones that stand out in this drama, I think. I suppose the idea of forgiveness is heavily featured throughout, though – poor Aom-am is wronged often, and she does a heck of a lot of forgiving.

My Verdict:
I definitely recommend this Thai drama – this is quite a rich one in terms of plot and character. And the phenomenal acting is truly a beautiful thing to watch.

Watched this right after Kiss Me so I was already familiar with the actors and their acting. The plot is incredibly interesting and draws you right into a binge session.

The shipping of the two leads is so real in this drama that it's crazy. They're both really cute and the scenes make you cry sometimes but they definitely leave a fuzzy feeling. I recommend this for cutesy romance lovers. :) Worth a rewatch as well!

Good Remake

I watch the series Kiss Me of the FL and ML. I think this is the 1st series they teamed up. I love to watch remakes, and I didn't watch the original Full House (Korean) instead I read the synopsis of it. I also watch the Chinese Version of Full House (Midsummer is full of love). I love the chinese version in a way that it is simple and kinda cute. I just don't like the singing part of the ML because I think it's lip sync but well portrayed. In this remake, i love the chemistry of the two, i just love the hair style of the FL. she is much cuter and the ML portrayed well. Love the fact that the ML at the end became sweeter. It's a good remake. I watch this series this past few days, and I noticed that, they gave a twist in their remakes which kinda different from the others, which is also good because they can make it a good ending after. They don't follow the original one, they change it especially in the mind part and didn't lose the real concept of it. TWIST.. loved it!

Must watch?? YES

It had the feels... It wasn't perfect... I had to fast forward allot of stuff because the scenes dragged allot. Like I get the point. They were a cute couple and it is the same plot (hated each other first then they fall inlove) different actors - but you know, romcom people, I don't know why it doesn't get old. hahaha - and I still watch it.

I don't like Thai drama full house.
I prefer the Korean version of the full house. the female actor is not beautiful, does not match the handsome angelo mike.
in my opinion, i would rather Mike Angelo with Zhang Yuxi in the drama my little princess because Mike Angelo is handsome and Zhang Yuxi is also beautiful, the couple is very harmonious, I like Mike with Zhang Yuxi.
If Aom is more suitable with Tina Suppand, they are more suitable and harmonious.
I hope Mike can date the Zhang Yuxi like Lin Xing Chen and Jian Nian Yu in my Little Princess drama.

Ridicolous Plot

Are you a highschool girl at age or in your heart? Do you find two-timing excuseable if you are not quite sure about your own feelings yet? Then go and watch this now! After you gained a little bit of live and love experience it could spoil his show for you. The main storyline is just ridiculous. What, you really want to keep your promises with a selfish person, so you have no other choice than to break the promises you have made with the person who cares for you? What kind of logic is that? Plotwise, this was the worst Romcom I have ever watched. But: I really liked the beautiful (touristic) filming locations in Korea you get to see.

The story is good as everyone knows because there are other versions too, but it is lengthy. If you are used to Korean and Japanese dramas then you will feel bored at many places and scenes. I wish they could cut some episodes and made it little shorter like 16 episodes.
But I like the casts, they pulled it off well.

is only the first episode so cheap??

I remember i started watching this lakorn a few times and couldnt get past the 1st episode, so im writing this review now just in case i drop it again...
The FL is totally annoying, the type who is all over men while pretending to be innocent and drunk or whatever - of course, she only gets drunk with young men around, not on a regular basis. Her acting is also totally fake!
The ML is no less... Being a character in his/her own name, like you're all that? Should we all bow down to Mike Angelo or whatever? If you are such a sucker for praises that you cannot impersonate a character, make a documentary!
I'm a regular watcher of lakorns, but some are just trashy.
