Song Ji Hyo is a South Korean TV and film actress. She became a full-time member of the show "Running Man" after appearing in the 2nd episode. Ji Hyo gained international fame for being the only female member of the show, which made her popularity rise across Asia.

Song Ji Hyo's birth name is Cheon Seong Im, but she later legalized her name to Cheon Soo Yeon. Before Ji Hyo debuted as an actress, she was a model for Kiki Magazine. She made her feature film acting debut in the 2003 Korean horror film "Wishing Stairs" and had her first lead role in the 2004 crime thriller "Some".

Ji Hyo rumored in February 2012 that she had been dating Baek Chang Joo for 3 months at the time, who is also the CEO of C-JeS Entertainment. In July 2015, she officially confirmed that she was no longer with her former boyfriend and decided to part ways with her management agency, C-JeS Entertainment, following the expiration of her contract.

Her latest film, released after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 in South Korea, was "Intruder", which received a positive response from moviegoers even though it was released during the pandemic.

On October 19, 2022, Uzu Rocks officially announced that they had signed an exclusive contract with her. In April 2023, she notified Uzu Rocks, which was embroiled in allegations of overdue payment to the agency’s artists and employees due to financial difficulties, of the termination of her exclusive contract. Uzu Rocks released an apology and confirmed that they agreed to terminate their exclusive contract. The following month, she filed a legal complaint against the former CEO of Uzu Rocks on embezzlement charges.

On October 13, 2023, it was announced that she had signed an exclusive contract with NEXUS E&M.

On November 22, 2023, the Seoul Central District Court found in favor of Song Ji Hyo, ruling that Uzu Rocks owed her not only 984 million won in unpaid earnings but also an additional sum for delayed interest and more.
