Ultimate Fan Guide: Minami Hamabe
I have been a fan of Kimura Takuya for a few months now after a friend suggested that I should watch Long Vacation. And after that, I was really hooked. I have been watching Asian Dramas for a while now but not like this, he’s the reason why I started religiously watching Dramas, J-Dramas to be specific. I watch KDramas every now and then but its length (16-20 for regular dramas or even longer for those historic ones) always gives me trouble, so I really prefer J-Dramas based on length and being relatable.
So going back to Takuya, I will try to list a few reasons as to why you cannot not love him.
1) His Smile
Have you seen him smile? His smile can make your knees weak, especially his smirk. OMG!!
2) He Is Multi-talented
He can sing, play the guitar, the piano and harmonica, should I continue? Oh, yes? Oh well, if you persist. He also draws/paints, he’s into photography, he cooks, he’s a gymnast, he’s into kendo, basketball, fishing, surfing and skateboarding.
3) He’s a Very Good Actor
Each time he portrays a role, he completely sheds off the previous ones' image, so you don’t see him as a certain character. He’s able to reinvent himself. When I first watched Long Vacation I saw him as a lanky pianist guy. When I watched him in Love Generation, I did not see even a bit of the lanky boy. When I watched Mr. Brain, it was like it’s the first time I saw him again, genius!
4) He’s HOT
Is there any other explanation needed here? He was named by People (USA) magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive 2006" in the category "International Male: Hot around the World". (source: wikipedia). He also aged gracefully. He’s still hot in his 40s.
