Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Ahn Woo Yeon is the next addition to the cast of the upcoming fantasy medical K-drama "The Season of Kkok Du."
"The Season of Kkok Du" is a K-drama that will be led by Kim Jung Hyun, Im Soo Hyang, Kim Da Som, and Cha Chung Hwa.
The series is a medical fantasy romance that will revolve around the grim reaper who is the only one existing in the underworld. Every 99 years, he rests from his job in the underworld and goes to the earth for 49 days. This time, he inhabited the body of a human named Do Jin Woo. While living as Do Jin Woo, he will encounter a female doctor who can order around the grim reaper.
On November 14th, aside from the announced cast, Ahn Woo Yeon is also confirmed to join the upcoming fantasy drama.
Ahn Woo Yeon will give life to the character named Han Chul. He is a manly detective. He is known for being a man of tenacity who will do everything just to investigate a case. Although he looks cold and rough from the outside, he is affectionate and warm.
"The Season of Kkok Du" will be part of MBC's Friday and Saturday drama timeslot. The series is set to premiere in 2023.
This will be the comeback drama of Ahn Woo Yeon. He last starred in the 2021 series "Young Lady and Gentleman" with Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Se Hee, Park Ha Na, Kang Eun Tak, Lee Jong Won, and Oh Hyun Kyung.
The actor will also star in the upcoming series "Paul Who Fell From The Sky" led by Yoon Hyun Min.
Ahn Woo Yeon is known for his supporting roles in the k-dramas "Mad for Each Other," "Let's Eat 3," "Age of Youth 2," "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," "Jealousy Incarnate," "Bubblegum," and more.
The actor is also included in the travel variety program "Romantic City" with 2 AM's Jung Jin Woon, JBJ95's Kim Sang Gyun, and MYTEEN's Kim Kook Heon.
