Appearance Fee Disputes Emerge for Cast of K-Drama "High School Return of a Gangster"
Bae Hyun Sung will reportedly join hands with Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee in the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Gyeongseong Creature Season 2.
On August 4th, media outlets reported that Bae Hyun Sung will be joining the second season of the upcoming K-drama Gyeongseong Creature. According to reports, Bae Hyun Sung will also be the main lead in the new season.
Bae Hyun Sung's agency Awesome ENT responded to the casting news. According to them, "It is true that Bae Hyun Sung will be part of Gyeongseong Creature Season 2. We ask for your patience and understanding as we cannot disclose the details about his character and other information."
Gyeongseong Creature is set in the spring of 1945. It will showcase the journey of two young people who will do their best to survive in an era full of darkness and a monster born of greed.
The first season is set to premiere within the year. While Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 will reportedly air in 2024.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Kim Su Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, Jo Han Chul, and Wi Ha Joon.
It will be the collaboration of director Jung Dong Yoon (It's Okay to Not Be Okay and Hot Stove League) and writer Kang Eun Kyung (Dr. Romantic and Gu Family Book).
This will be the first time that Bae Hyun Sung will be starring in a Netflix original K-drama.
Bae Hyun Sung is currently appearing in the ongoing K-drama Miraculous Brothers together with Jung Woo, Park Yoo Rim, Oh Man Suk, Lee Ki Woo, and Kang Mal Geum.
