Kwak Shi Yang to appear in the upcoming episode of "Good Partner"
Actors Cha Seung Won, Park Hee Soon, and Yoon Ga Yi are also reportedly joining the upcoming movie The Axe.
On July 16, media outlets reported that aside from Lee Byung Hun, Lee Sung Min, Son Ye Jin, Yeom Hye Ran, and Yoo Yeon Seok, Cha Seung Won, Park Hee Soon, and Yoon Ga Yi will also join the upcoming movie.
Cha Seung Won's agency YG Entertainment shared, "The actor is currently discussing the offer." Park Hee Soon's agency IOK Company also revealed, "We received the casting offer and are currently reviewing it."
Meanwhile, Yoon Ga Yi's agency OUI Entertainment also shared their response to the casting reports. The agency stated that there is still no confirmation for her casting.
Director Park Chan Wook will be in charge of the upcoming movie The Axe. He is renowned for his works on Joint Security Area and Three... Extremes.
The Axe will reportedly be the remake of the 2005 black comedy film "The Axe" by director Costa-Gavras.
According to reports, the upcoming movie will begin filming next month.
The Axe will possibly be the follow-up movie project of Cha Seung Won after the upcoming film Uprising. The actor will also join the cast of the upcoming K-dramas Mercy for None, Pig Pen, Guns and Talks, and The Tyrant.
On the other hand, this movie will possibly be the comeback of Park Hee Soon to the big screen after almost three years. He last starred in the 2022 film The Policeman's Lineage. Park Hee Soon will also star in the new series The Bequeathed and Country and Nation.
Lastly, this will be one of the possible upcoming projects of actress Yoon Ga Yi. She is also set to join the upcoming K-drama Acquaintances led by Han Ji Min, Lee Joon Hyuk, Kim Do Hoon, Kim Yoon Hye, Lee Sang Hee, and Park Bo Kyung.
